um to the U to the aces so andex on the night were asan Wilson my God aent wil 42 points if you don't know now you know but I'm pretty sure AJ Wilson wish she would had 43 she missed that free throw at um in in the closing seconds of the ball game they only put him up one then orque gets foued his two free throws at the end and then that was pretty much Church the wings never Rel relinquish the lead and and up winning it 93 to uh 90 so but a AIA Wilson the best best best player in the league and it ain't even close best player in the NBA she show good point chicken good point chicken they beat the Rifts and the aces tonight really chicken really really did you see really see those bads they were making chicken really you really G chicken you I I I I listen chicken I I I I accept this improving their record to eight and 22 man I want to talk about I want to talk about the real reason why the um the uh the uh wings are have won these back-to-back games it ain't it's not what yeah how dare you yeah real talk it's not satu how dare you the real reason why the aces have won this game is not satu satu doing a thing but the real reason the real MVP of this Dallas Wings two game winning streak has been Miss Howard my goodness that girl's been balling I mean going Howard going up against the best player in the league and holding on finish with 24 points six rebounds I'm also also had a loc I've located my granny also had back over on this side um in this game um 11 points in the fourth quarter just matching bucket for bucket um in the fourth against Asia Wilson Big Time Performance um to go off that um that 26 she had um I think no um 20 um U what she have 30 that 30 she had um in the last game against the Sparks on Sunday just balling out control she's my I know I listen I know listen satu And arque they're they're the stars of of of of of the team the faces of the team but without without Howard Tasha Howard the they don't get these two D was a second leading scorer tonight I mean she she she she was second leading scorer T tonight and and and on Sunday so she she's been balling man she shout shout out to Howard man she's been balling yeah I'm sorry is are you are you becoming a Wings fan I I listen I'm not I'm a professional broadc my job is not to be a wingan not to be a Aces fan or Liberty fan my job is to be a WNBA broadcast un likee what you're game I mean her size um way she can play inside and out she can play big if you want to put a small on she play Big in the post if you want to put a big on she can go out there she's got handles she can create so um to me she's the best allaround player in the league I'm handling her business tonight and especially some big buckets in the four Court 24 points also had two Steals and five assists seven boards in this game um her best game um this far um being back as a wing and doing her thing in the biggest moments against the best player um in in the league on the other side against the defending champs man so um like I said I said this last game the ball needs to go through satu it needs to touch K Do you have do you have uh shu's uh what's the name up tonight I didn't think satu I think satu only missed like one or two shots tonight I think she was perfect on every other shot uh oh no she was 10 or 14 from the field okay okay she was four out of six from three and she was free throw line in 38 minutes okay I thought it was something like that so yeah see this a best offensive performance of of of the game and and and and the and the um and the aces needed um just what it looked like the once like again it looked like the uh the aces were going to stretch the lead out satu came out with big buggers to keep them connected once again like like the last game um in the four quarter has been the um has been the uh the uh a the um Wings fourth fourth quarter remember last game I scored sparked 40 to8 I think in this game if I'm not if I'm not wrong about this they all scored in the fourth quarter um what was it 38 to 21 or something like that so um doing their thing um in these games um especially late late in game um to um to get these wins so the um cardiac kids comeback kids what you want to call them quarters I was no you good you good T man you always welcome in the what's name no I was looking at Kelsey Plum down there I thought I was going to have to wave wave this L at it real quick because you know she got a l so I love me I love I love kessy Plum too but I'm gonna say something she and this is shock to me she was the worst player on the court tonight oh wow she was the worst player on the court tonight wow 3 about 34 minutes um three of 10 from the field 0 of three from three I know they want to talk about her her overall game but she was a minus five tonight eight points five assist five boards wasn't good at all wasn't aggressive um I I uh uh tonight um give arque um credit she took the challenge on Kelsey Plum um got up in her shorts and um didn't give her any Breathing Room Kelsey Plum was locked down by R um tonight give let's take a look let's take a look at what happened don't talk about R's offense but defense was great tonight especially on kelse Kelsey PL she locked up she locked her ass down tonight sorry kelse you got locked down tonight baby oh when she I see her again she go I weigh this L at her really I give the Wing Credit kept fighting kept grinding cardiac kids um they play they play four four quarters man you got to play them four quarters this team right now they don't give up man so um um give there something there's something that I want to talk that that probably doesn't get shown on TV but you know in these late in these late game moments here in the arena I've seen um it's satu who is rallying these guys together she's the one get them in the Huddle and conversating with him and letting them know all right this is what we need to do don't Lo don't lose your head you know stuff like that she's the one that's keeping this team grounded out here on the court okay yeah man um you know um the evolvement of of the the evolution of being a leader um like I said before I that's just my opinion I think she's the best overall player in the league I mean not in League I mean on the team she is right here here she is right here with another okay that was one three I missed I think this team is this team can be better if she's the number one option on the team and then Enrique is number two I think sham had a good point here she said just imagine if her and S two wasn't injured to get into the playoffs um but we give credit to Vegas as well they they they came out and did their part but uh we did a we did a good job both for maintaining the other we already knew aent was get H but we did a good job on the te I agree yeah yeah I mean I agree our you know our defense at first it doesn't look like it but because I mean Asia scored 42 but if the rest of the team doesn't score enough then this is what we want and I think we did amazing holding Jackie under 20 holding chela and Kelsey under 20 like that's a great team effort I know guson has been playing well so we contained a lot of other players on a team and I think that this is really what set us apart today because we had contribution from the venge we have you know JC playing 20 minutes but being just so calm now with the ball and it's just such a difference from the first half so we have great rookies doing their thing and stuff like they're just more comfortable so we can see everything coming together slowly and this is what we wanteded so go so to you you um earlier said Tosh best of that in the league can you expand on that just how special she is to the team and just your yourself as a teammate yeah I mean she's just so she holds her composure every time plays hard every single time and she's had so many years on her belt like it's it just looks easy to her but I see how hard she works every day too so it's just a great role model to have for everyone else in the locker room and see what kind of example you can be um how you can still play I mean 34 minutes and get Buckets so it's just amazing to have that as your surroundings because this is where we want to be a are now your scar a tattoo that says Flash and saw on the other side to them on the flip side how's it feel now that you have a few games with saw two back how's it feel having her back just that Difference Maker in the games making big shots uh s been a bucket she been a bucket since I got on this team but it's just so good that she's back on the court with us and I get to play start her again so and and it's really good but we we snc with each other really well so it's kind of hard for other team that they gonna switch or they're not gonna switch so because it's like high Advantage I'm really really good really proud of playing next to S and what she's capable of doing yeah uh s after uh today's performance and uh Sunday just talk about the the confidence in the team and just the vibe how the team's feeling after tonight you know our confidence has always been up we knew that we had to really face adversity the first have and I think now we're all coming together and this is like a new season to us and um we'll play we have we still have the playoffs to reach and that's our goal so taking game by game really we wanted to win today and we know we can win um and that's that's just the mindset that we need for every single game and playing together I mean we were in the semi-finals last year for a reason and I don't want people to forget that for the SP that's right that's right coach I wanted to ask about the defense it seemed like you guys turned the corner after that hot start that you had obviously Asia had you know a big game but just what do you see for the defense today well I think it goes back to what um really Tosh and saw two mentioned is that yeah she had 42 but we kept everyone else under their averages and held their bench to only eight points and so I I'll take that every time I saw progress coming in from our last game um rebound wise I mean we outrebounded them 40 to 26 and so that that's part of the the the defensive scheme and so I'm just extremely proud clse can we talk about JC's um defense on Chelsea Gray at fourth quarter can you talk about the rookie how yeah I mean that's one thing about Jac is that we always say that even though she's got the quickest feet and the quickest hands she really is the calm in the storm as well and so she's not going to back down to anyone I don't know if she doesn't know any better you know what I mean she's just that true competitor as a rookie and so I'm I'm thankful that that her and Seb play off of each other but yeah ja's a good culture person great teammate and uh I know these ladies right here would contest to that so to now that the goal is to get in the playoffs you guys knocked off the backtack Champs what kind of momentum can you guys build off of and keep that going and may you shock everybody and come up guys mess around what do you have to do keep I mean that's the goal right that's what we play um game to game really like we prepare for mini we prepare for Vegas we prepare focused and um just just doing our thing is I think the most important thing right now and just focusing on that staying levelheaded and break by Brick like this is going to be a long road so even if we lose even if we win we just have to stay levelheaded and stay true to ourselves because it is so good and then um then the results will show so just staying staying together too like you definitely wasn't weing bricks today break is a win that's a good Rob go ahead thank you coach another incredible comeback win for the wings tonight how proud are you of the your team's effort to limit Las Vegas's three-point game and out score the aces in the paint with 42 points compared to their 32 yeah that was a couple of keys to the game because we know that they like to establish I mean our first we talked about you know their fast break and their transition um did better in the second half so we made that great adjustment at least the players did and um yeah I mean I think even with some of their shots and that especially the fourth was tougher for them it wasn't just getting some Rhythm shots they're number one in Pace in the league and so I think we did a good job of really containing that pace uh for an adjustment in these two especially time for a couple more coach back to back comeback WIS what have you seen from this team In Those runs over the last couple of games now that y'all are mostly fully helpage you know one word that keeps coming to my mind and it's probably one word that you don't really use when you think about what you're just talking about a team but just sophistication you know I mean this is a group that's just sophisticated in in what they are doing and how they're you know playing together it hasn't been a while but um just confident grit determination and they always bring I don't care I mean in practice on the bench when they're talking to one another and giving I call them sticky notes great sticky notes they bring that Championship mentality and as long as you do that you are always going to have a chance to win number one mark So to I did want to ask you know you've been through a lot this year missed the first half of the Season what does it mean to leave this team to a win tonight after everything you've been through this season um it means having great teammates around me like I'm just happy to finally play again and be surrounded by great people and keep the Positive Vibes up and I feel like I just you know slipped into what what we already had going so it's really the people around you that make you happy obviously I'm just grateful that I can play again because yes it was a long recovery and it was hard but um yeah I've also learned like now I feel like I've also learned how to cope with that and just learn from the sidelines get my body right and get my mind right and that's okay thank great one great uh Kendrick um
