Patrick Corbin Shuts Down Yankees, 3 Errors in 1 Inning | Yankees Fan Reaction | 08/27/2024

Patrick Corbin really you get shut out by Patrick Corbin this is not 2018 it's 2024 and you're letting Patrick Corbin throws sick shut out Innings against you that's the Yankees they can be down it one day and then just crap the next and this was definitely a crap game not just with allowing Patrick Cor who has the worst qualified ra of any starter in all of baseball allowing him to have six shut out Innings against you not only that embarrassing but how about and look you want to blame Cole I mean yeah Cole gave up three home runs Tonight Cole was bad Cole in which just giv up a couple meatballs including one to congratulations to Andreas chaparo first home run of his career you just giv that one that one up congratulations to him also Dylan Cruz got his first will be hit so you know yay but between that between the Ten of home run and between and I guess the ground out to Joey G so it was two home runs not three but the chaparo antenna home runs killed us there and then we also had the sixth inning of this game in which the Yankees put together one of the worst displays of Defense I have ever seen you would trino throwing a ball DJ can't come up with it on a bunt single you have Jazz not being able to apply a tag to Third you have DJ with a grounder at first and he can't come up with the ball at all and then you have trino trying to throw someone out at second and there's nobody there at second because glaber or vulpi miscommunication there that is a total I guess the last one was an error but that's three errors in one inning three errors I cannot remember the last time Yankees said three errors in an inning I just tweeted Katie sharp hopefully um she's like the queen of these stats for like John Boy and everything so hopefully she'll come back with an answer um but this is the first time Yankees have had three hours in a game since 2021 3 years ago back when you know I was still doing highlights on this channel it's is that long ago before I started working with DK that's how long ago it was three years ago since the Yankees allowed three errors in a game that's just in a game forgetting in it and if you want to see something hopefully will'll give you entertainment I on my Twitter account I put the three hours I put that sixth inning to the Benny Hill Music so that was that was fun um but that was kind of therapeutic so we had that we had and as I mentioned only two hits through six innings I'm trying to look through remember when they were you had the double by judge in the second in the in the first inning that was immediately followed by strike out of Stanton and then you had the single by Stanton in the fourth inning and then Jazz strikes out and V be forced out by the way Jazz kind of slowed down he's had five errors in three games you know we all love jazz and he can be really fun on offense but God come on Jazz please don't be the biggest liability on defense on a team that has dgu okay please we don't need that we don't need that it may have six erors five six s whatever it is just just crap see as we mentioned Corbin uh destroyed them there we also had the seventh inning in which the Yankees got two Runners on base you know all right here we go maybe maybe something happens we had a single by vpy and a Wells walk Verdugo immediately GRS into a double play Just typical Yankees there and then the eighth ining this was probably the most disappointing thing of the night two singles stto reaches on a field this Choice Bas is loaded for judge you were hoping and praying he'd be able to do something he'd be able to be Aaron judge in that spot he wasn't he grounded into a double play which I guess made him he's still a Yankee at heart only scored one R and then Stanton grounded out so that was the killer for tonight for the Yankees the erors brutal not being able to you know gar Cole giving up a couple bombs brutal but not getting hits off Patrick Corbin and then the missed opportunities in the seventh and eighth inning that's what killed this team tonight you had your chances and two double plays which of course is typical Yankees two double plays really killed this team here tonight but God against gotta win these kind of games man I'm sick of going into Series against Bad teams and like we need to win the third game to win the series I'm sick of that how many times can we have that is this a four game series okay it's three I was right tomorrow and then we have a day Thursday I'm sick of that can we get can we win two can we win the first two games of a series please can we go back to where it was we win two games and then maybe we can relax and maybe we can win the third game can we go back to that I enjoyed that bad night bad bad bad bad night how do you have three hours in an inning that's like a minor league crap that's something the white sock would do inexcusable that's what the Yankees do to us man yesterday I'm on a high today I'm thinking God what's going to be like to have a World Series in the Bronx then today it's snap back to reality up there goes gravity and we'll see how the Orioles do tonight they play they're they're they're playing the Dodgers let's go la we could really really use a jack flarity win tonight over Cole Orin and the Baltimore and really keep that two game um keep that two game lead and then we got rodon tomorrow going up against McKenzie Gore let's hope and pray for a win of the series there but I hate the fact that it's C it took us that we have to wait till tomorrow to find out if we win the series could have won today but
