2025 drawing of Lots now we just completed the drawing of lots for the cev champions league but we are not yet finished because we're going to proceed and begin with the drawing of lots for the cev cup and also the cev challenge cup but before we do we have a video which highlights some exciting moments from the cev cup 20124 season with two teams from Poland and Italy who clinged the title for the men's and women's uh Championship let's take a look at these highlights [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] who will rise who will conquer [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] once again so exciting and so cool to see these highlights of the men and women competing for that title right um Federico before we get started can you please guide us through this process and I do believe that we will start with the cev cups women's join that is true Nisha good afterno everyone once again um it is my pleasure to be co-hosting with you this um drawing of lots uh as you said um and as we watched the highlights of the past season in the CV cup we do have the winners of the men's competition AO resovia Jesu who they will be returning to the competition so there is a chance uh that they can reclaim their title in the women's competition the defending champions from kieri are actually playing the challenge Cup this year so there will be a new champion and um that leaves the or open you know for a new winner to emerge that's right that's right um we get started now with the draw for the 16 finals of the women's CV cup and uh we do have 16 teams already seeded according to the latest European ranking combining the CV Cup and the challenge cup and we have 16 teams that we will be drawing out of this cup with your help norisha these are the teams that were promoted from The Challenge cup to the CV cup if they expressed their interest in doing so the teams that will fail to progress from the Champions League four third round to the fourth round and also the um lower ranked teams among those registered for participation in the C cup so shall we get started yes so we have the CD teams and as always and as with the previous draws those c teams have the privilege of playing the return match at home courtesy of their higher ranking so Nisha let's get started and find out who is going to play against Oka zag of Croatia [Music] nice and that is Ku boru AAR of tury a team that will be playing in the European camps for the first time in their history so they will be hosting Dam Zagreb first and then travel to Croatia's capital next [Music] norisha the team that you are drawing now will be playing against Vol muus alzas clam that has played in the Champions League many times and this will be the team losing matches nine and 10 in the third round of the Women's Champions League elk Comon W of Poland is the next CD team for matches five and six [Music] and they will be playing against another loser of matches in the third round of the champions league and more specifically matches seven and eight let me just remind everyone that all of the charts and the results of the draw will be on our website and social media channels for people to have a better understanding as to who to who is who when the name of the team is not defined just yet okay so the next C the team is the winner of the challenge cup 2024 Igor Gorgonzola Novara of Italy a former winner of the champions league as well so the team that they are due to play it's actually a buy there are five Buys in these rounds so it's a lucky draw they will be advancing to the eight finals well they will be contesting the CV cup in the 2024 season 2025 season and it's the loser of matches one and two that is going to play thy Istanbul in the CV cup so a team coming down from the early rounds of the Champions League the next C team is silver Medal winner from the last edition of the CV cup women Vitos Noel us of Switzerland and they also have a lucky draw so aai and they are so t two neighboring countries playing against each other Poland and CIA the Polish team will be hosting the first match and dla liberates will be welcoming the return game Novak branik maribor of be hosting the first match and then travel to Hungary two teams left among those seated ones vea prosto of CIA is the next one a team that played champions league for many season this year they will be contesting the CV cup instead so orisha let's find out what the destiny and it's a buy so prosto will also play no matches in the 16 finals and progress straight to the eight finals last but not least we have seated in position number 32 says Vol Alba blash of Romania former finalist in the Champions League and they will be playing a team coming down from the champions league and more and now that we've completed the women's uh do for the cev cup we can now proceed with the men's drawing of lots for the cev cup as you said at the beginning of the Champions League draw in Nisha there is a massive interest from teams from across Europe to participate in the European cups we have as many as 204 across all events across all competitions and the two genders and that becomes obvious when we proceed now with the draw for the CV cup men we actually have two draws we start with the 32nd finals and we have 16 teams involved all are in these cup so we will be drawing from top to bottom and we will be defining who plays who and it's always home and away matches so norisha please go ahead the charts are there and the matches will be played as you can see at the beginning of October so here we go we start with es kazad druga aob of Austria taking position number one so they will be hosting the first match and who is going to play the Austrian team we'll find out in a second and that is loan us of Switzerland so two neighboring countries playing against each other in the 32nd finals of the CV cup men I think they're happy with not being it's not a long journey yes words I me bva cup that's a competition a zonal competition run by the Balan volleyball Association these will be taking place in September and once we know the winner that one team that one Club will but we are still not yet finished because we will now move on to the drawing of lots for the men in the challenge cup yes Nisha that's the last draw for today and actually for the whole European CS 2025 season uh the procedure we follow is kind of the same as with the women's challenge cup there is such a massive interest for participation in the challenge cup that we start with the 32nd finals uh but instead of having 17 seated teams as we had in the women's competition we do have 16 only so to speak for the men's tournament and these are those shown on the charts just now and we have 16 teams to draw out of this cup again with your help norisha so let's get the job done I would love to help actually fro I think I have the easiest job here the team that you are drawing norisha will be
