Emma Navaro congrats to reach your first major semifinal it's sweet to be in the semi-final but even sweeter coming back from one5 down so sweet um yeah I might still be playing uh right now if I hadn't come back and and close it out in two but um yeah I kind of felt like I had um you know I was still in the second set even down 51 and I felt like you know if I can stick in there scrap out maybe a few longer points put some pressure on her a little bit you know we'll see see what could happen and it ended up happening in a good way for sure it was at least as sweet as the cake of your grandmother that she can make bake so tell us about uh your grandmother and your grandfather I think they play play a special role in your career yeah my grandmother makes a killer birthday cake uh it's called chocolate cake with gooey white icing and it was a childhood birthday staple um so yeah I'm not sure that properly uh fueled me but it's it's a great cake um and yeah my grandmother's been here uh for every match I played um this week and uh my uncle and Aunt have been driving her here from Connecticut and uh they they even drove here watched my match drove back watched the replay of my match and then went to bed so uh yeah there's some dedicated fans for sure and uh you my grandfather coached uh college football and and played college football and um you know he taught me a ton of lessons growing up just about uh resilience and toughness and um you know how to be a good good competitor and and have good sportsmanship and uh yeah the lessons he taught me they they play huge role in in who I am today and that it worked out pretty well we can see now best of luck for the semi-final thank appreciate it
