obviously it's over in a Flash yep and the announcer for NBC um he called it or he when it was over he believed that the uh Jamaican casane Thompson had won and he called it as such yeah do you think how do you feel about that because I've seen him kind of get a little people have been roasting him on social media saying he shouldn't have called it that he kind of took the moment away from Noah ly because he had proclaimed that the other guy won how did you read that I mean I didn't I didn't really have an issue like you're trying to call this lightning fast race and like maybe what we forgot in kind of the usan Bold era is that these races can be like un almost undetectably close you know what I mean right um and so what I like what I learned sort of watching it and and actually like the BBC's coverage of it was was going around online as having some like really good like graphics and breakdowns of it and I think like this is worth reapo muching as as like how do you broadcast this race how do you talk about the winner cuz like it was just s like it was after he after he made that little call it was dead silent on the broadcast for like two minutes while they were waiting around to see like what are what's the result going to be who actually won yeah yeah so I think it's a good like learning re re approach like how do you cover this like what do you do when you're kind because like it's weird to have a race where it happens and then maybe you're just sitting around for a minute and a half before you even know who won right well does seem like there needs to be I mean I feel like at some point we'll get to a form of Technology where it will be instant we'll like know the they'll each have something on themselves like a track well I'm shocked they don't have like the soccer V thing where it's like you can see the line and like the body part that's over the line you know I mean they do I think they do but it takes they have to look they have to take the time to actually look at it and evaluate it as opposed to an instant this person like I never saw that graphic of like here is the part they showed the photo they showed the photo and even looking at the photo like it was kind of unclear to me like Sam and I my wife had to like go online and be like what wait it looks like these guys feet are over the line or was it his head and then it's like oh no it's the Torso that's what they're measuring right so there yeah there's there there seems like maybe we can do a better job with that race in the future but just as like the race as a product was absolutely I mean I was on the edge of my seat it it and I had not to like be like I'm so great but when it ended I thought to myself I think I think Noah got it I I and I actually was also I was actually I didn't I was like he got third oh really oh yeah well I was going to say I also noticed the other American Fred Curley who did get third I thought oh maybe he has a chance to win it because he was right there on the other side of the Jan guy and then you're just like waiting there waiting there waiting there and then you see Noah react because he saw that he won and I was just like oh my God that was it was iconic
