NFL Week 1 Reaction! CMC Injury Update! Will Larry Krueger make an Appearance?

and we are live if we're live and you know what clap your hands all right guys I'm Wolfie welcome to the show today we are going to check out the week one games from the past weekend I've been meaning to it I only got like three or four games in in previous uh lives I think it was like yesterday or the day before I can't remember but I would like to finish the conversation talk about the rest of the games so for people that didn't see the previous live I will just give like a quick response to those games and then try to give like my full opinion on the rest of them and then we're check out cmc's injury and hopefully he's okay see what Kyle Shanahan had to say um just live update to see see if he's okay see if he's good uh and then we're gonna check out George KD losing a bet to Brock pie and then we're gonna check out a bet that Brock py lost to George KD last year and just kind of compare and laugh at it and then we're gonna watch the players in reviews in the locker room today uh 49ers have a whole vid on YouTube that we could watch so that pretty dope and then if we have time and I don't think we will but if we do if we have time we'll check out Jerry Rice's uh reaction to um to the game because he said some nice things some things I like that I like to hear he was pretty honest and you know what who doesn't like to hear from the goat all right we got some comments All right we got Milwaukee in the house what up buddy Papa J welcome to the uh live I'm gonna say something different what happened to Mitchell oh he's out for the season uh some sort of knee issue I think I don't remember um let me check Mitchell injury he's out for the season I just don't know where it's a hamstring injury it's all it says it doesn't not saying what's the injury but he's out for the season with a hamstring injury which sucks but I mean it's kind of it's kind of up to par with Mitchell he's usually gets hurt every single play but when he plays man he's really good usually pretty good oh uh one second one second you really keep track of your uh florid players that's cool man you're you're pretty loyal that's dope that's dope I didn't know that I didn't know where he was from I just knew he was undrafted or something like that was he undrafted yeah he was undrafted was he one of the undrafted ones yeah he was undrafted all right let's see if I'm a real 49ers fan I'm I'm pretty sure he was undrafted so let's find out this is the test y'all this is the test I'm not entirely sure if he was drafted or not I don't think he was I really don't remember uh out for season draft I'm not looking at the comment section because I feel like I they they're they're trying they're going to tell me and I want I want to find out like live hold on I'm pretty sure he was undrafted six round damn it that's breida that's breida I was mixing them up it was breida someone was or breida was a first six round pick there's Mason was undrafted there's another guy that was undrafted it that subject gets lost every time I put it in the back end of the conversations so let's go ahead and just get those out of the way all right and I know it's Wednesday so it's been a while but all right so we got the Ravens Chiefs we already talked about that but real quick uh Lamar wasn't impressed with him the Chiefs look like absolute studs uh it's first game but the Chiefs are a good defense sorry Chiefs but the Chiefs have a good defense so the Ravens have a good defense this I was just really shocked to see uh Lamar play like playoff Lamar it was weird to see uh Pat Uh Jordan love and Jaylen Herz were terrible this game did not like it uh literally they were all carried by their Playmakers or uh the defense special teams it was that this was I don't know this was the definition of an outlier for any quarterback sorry for Jaylen Herz and Jordan love Panthers and Saints Panthers are absolute Garbo they're not going anywhere Saints completely crushed them the only thing that surprised me about this is the score itself I was expecting like maybe 20 to like 10 that' be good but 47 to 10 the Saints might have something but then again the Panthers are are probably going to get the first overall pick so uh let's try not to give too much credit to the Saints for beating up pretty much a little kid at a playground so it's just you know all right the Vikings versus the Giants almost the same thing of panthers but I would say the Giants are better than the Panthers here and I you know I'm not surprised here it's really cool to see Sam darnold be a stud and the head coach for the Vikings are is really [ __ ] good uh uh Kevin oconnell I think his name is great head coach the dude's a stud the dude's a stud head coach I I'm not saying I want him to win a Super Bowl because you know I want the 49ers win a Super Bowl first but the 49ers win a Super Bowl the next per one of the next teams in the line one of them has to be the Vikings I mean they've had the they are literally the most cursed team of all time someone say the bills because they lost the four the four straight but nah dude they have like the sixth most wins in the NFL they they're dominant a lot of years but they always come up short it's so sad it's really sad they I feel bad for them where I think they deserve they kind of deserve a win so oh and they lost like three Super Bowl straight uh back in the 70s uh not like back to back to back but they did lose three straight Super Bowls so they've been to the Super Bowl let me double check that because I'm pretty sure they have four Super Bowl appearances okay yeah the Vikings have been to four Super Bowls in 70 74 75 and 77 has lost all four of them Vikings have lost four Super Bowls straight and they have one of the most wins in NFL history you gotta feel bad for the Vikings D3 49er welcome to the squad or is that a Milwaukee it's probably Milwaukee actually now think about it dton surprised me always starts strong and chokes in yeah he does that he looks he's a regular season hero that's what he is he's just a regular season hero so uh um he's a regular season Merchant same thing I like to call Lamar Jackson all right so we looked at the Vikings uh I need to bring I did not bring up the sorry guys it's really just my face talking not showing you guys what I'm looking at here failure all right so Vikings versus Giants okay the like I said St I'm proud of Sam darnold never hated Sam darnold you know it's kind of funny the things that happened to him like the SE ghost thing he did with the Patriots and then the I'll never forh forget with the Jets it was uh garia like what the [ __ ] you know if you guys remember that but he had like it was what it was Sam Donal Point pointing at the freaking camera and the breaking news was Gia outside of that [ __ ] some funny that's some funny stuff that's funny I'm Milwaukee I made my name because I'm always in the Stream wanted to make a guess gotcha gotcha um so uh de Patriots versus Bengals uh this was a shocker even though we all know that the the Bengals had like a history of losing week one but the Patriots are supposed to suck suck like Panthers suck so this was weird even if uh Joe burough is dealing with some sort of army issue or whatever and Jamar Chase wasn't there like they still have a better team so it's just really weird to see that maybe the Patriots are are well coached maybe they could do something with chobe brette maybe they can make plays maybe they can win games we'll see but it it was a shocker to me not gonna lie to you uh even with that Trend because those are just those are last season teams change every year sometimes there's funny coincidences where they become trends like they lose they lose every week week one you cannot say oh well they've lost week one five in a Time times in a row so they they must lose a sixth one that's just not enough to base off of so yeah Pats might be good says D3 minor I don't know we'll see Dak or Kyler definitely Dak i' take Dak any day not gonna lie to you not over Kyler because I don't think Kyler can he's gonna get hurt again he's gonna get laid the [ __ ] out and he's going to get hurt do I think that he has a clutch Gene I do think he has a clutch Gene I think at times he makes big plays I've seen him make big hellary plays maybe he's lost it because La I think like he was hurt last year I think I don't remember the entire story of calling muray there but it just like I think his first it's pretty much up to his contract he was really good and I think the first year of his contract he was good if I remember correctly but then after that he just became a ghost he's he's no longer exists it's like once Cliff kingsberry disappeared Kyler Murray became an afterthought no one really actually talks about him anymore so yeah and then not to mention what I heard him say in a press conference today oh my god dude he's I made a short already I don't know if I posted it or not but I made a short where uh Kyle Murray is quite literally saying uh sometimes I don't see people down the field but that's not my job what do you mean that's not your job dude then he goes on to say that I read know he like uh the the Drew uh rolls up the play and says this guy is the guy I gota throw to this guy is that open Drew is not Kyle Shanahan you are a you are is a new offensive coordinator you are a quarterback taking control of the offense you're paying millions of dollars to do that okay your job is to literally assess whatever it is that the play call is because every play is designed for a receiver to get open the the point of making a play is to be like okay expect this guy to be open here that's the point of the play and if it's and then you as a quarterback you assess the situation as it's unfolding is it gonna work do I throw the ball or not because you're not just gonna throw the ball if it's in triple coverage your job is to move on to the next read okay and uh oh I forgot to tell you this is reference to this was referenc to him missing Marvin Harrison Jr down the field so he's quite literally saying that Marvin Harrison Jr is running a route for absolutely no reason absolutely stupid dude absolutely crazy I can't believe he said something like that all right so I just want to rant about KY Murray there but anyway so Steelers versus Falcons I think I already talked about them honestly uh very shocked by uh Kurt Cousins and the way he played maybe his Achilles actually affect him I don't know maybe the the offense isn't good we'll see how things unfold down the line how it looks really it's really just one game but this this one game made Kurt Cousins look really really bad so but to be fair a lot of quarterbacks were having iffy situations this week uh this weekend so try not and I try to say that for a lot of quarterbacks this one I know I gave a lot of [ __ ] to Herz and uh love but I already think love is already paid because he only got six weeks and I think Herz is overrated that's where I'm coming from there Kurt Cousins was coming off an MVP season MVP type season until he got hurt so the Achilles Hill could really screw him over it's possible or he was just always good in Minnesota and somewhat good in Washington I think he got a lot better in Minnesota uh he had flashes in Washington so but that was that was shocker that was a shocker and of course the Steelers win with nothing but field goals classic classic Steelers dude classic Steelers classic Steelers Milwaukee says Falcons will be good we'll see man we'll see but I I want them to be I really do but if Kurt Cousins is that guy that we saw week one no there's no way dude he's better than Deshawn Watson I give you that uh so Texans versus Colts stoud is top five quarterback I'm sorry I know it's just one year I usually try to like okay we got late going but he just he has it you can see it it's almost like you don't even need to wait it's not like Jordan love Jordan love you don't see it you're like okay some people are forcing the issue with CJ Stroud one whole season then you see in that game the dude is just the dude's a beast the CJ stra is one of the most out of left field quarterbacks that I've ever seen so I okay actually I made a I made a live not too long ago talking about like one of my worst takes of all time one of them was about George KD this this was probably my worst take but I feel like a lot of people had this take which was CJ strad wasn't G to be good you know I I fell into the whole test stuff Ohio State curse thing and he turned out to be he's a stud man so Anthony Richardson despite only playing 17 games before playing into this game the dude that has a lot of potential I mean he looks really good he can launch that ball really far probably has the strongest arm in the league I think just he looked it looks so effortless the way he throws the ball but the problem with him is is that he doesn't take care of his body he's willing to sacrifice his body way too much for a small play or even a big play I guess you'd like to stand from your quarterback but not in week one week one you don't do that that's something you save for the playoffs you know what I mean you don't he can't be doing that he needs to take care of his body I like Anthony Richardson I want to see him succeed I don't mind the Colts they're in the AFC they don't bother me so I like AR I I went I went into the first time um the first time the Colts drafted him I thought it was a reach and I think it would be good but when I saw those first four games it made me like him and then I've seen interviews with him uh uh some interviews in the streets of him I like him I think he's genuinely a good dude I like his potential and what I saw week one with his arm I kind of like him he just needs to take care of his body he can't be sacrificing his body like that so all right mov on to the Cardinals versus Bills I just got done smacking Kyler Murray I get that but that was just a really dumb interview I think I just think he gave really ridiculous answers and he needs to fix that uh but he was I I think for the most part he was pretty good I mean only 161 yards like that 21 31 one touchdown five carries 57 yards classic Kyler Murray I don't think he's the worst quarterback and I don't think he's uh better than um who's the other guy that you want Dak he's not better than Dak so the Cardinals could be sneaky good I think the Cardinals are gonna be good this year I've I've said a thousand times Kyle Murray sorry the Cardinals are going to be either second or third in the division they're gonna be one of the two they're not going to be last trust trust trust boom all right um so Cardinal versus Bills and then Josh Allen sorry I should probably talk about Josh Allen right dude I don't know man a lot of people love Josh Allen I just there's something about him I don't trust if that makes sense like he does incredible things but there's some really goofball moments that he has like I can't quite put my finger on it you know he's done more than Lamar in the playoffs you know but at the same time he does goofy things like that that loses games playoff games even like and then they have the worst luck with the the the coin flip stuff you know and there's just something about him there's just something about him I don't like and I don't trust a lot of people love him I see exactly where they're coming from he's a he's a he's a tough Runner he can really throw the ball if it's not AR with the strongest arm it's definitely Josh Allen uh Josh Allen has had some incredible games clutch games even but there's just something I don't know I can't put my finger on it Titans versus Bears uh Bears defeat the Titans uh that's just because will Levis didn't want to win the game will Levis was like nah dude I'm not not today man I mean we gotta get more pieces next year so what I'm gonna do is we're gonna tank I'm gonna throw the ball interception throw the ball interception pick six you know he just didn't want to win it he's thinking about the future so if you really think about it this is a high IQ play here because if he gets a top pick he probably gets a top wide receiver maybe an o line protect him he could be doing it for a reason I'm just saying just saying all right what's the next game what's the next game next game bills Bears Titans Jags versus dolphins dolphins came back to win that game uh seven they were down up 17 to three I think with like three minutes left in the game Dolphins came back to win it of course because they got amazing deep threats we can make amazing plays uh Tua is not the worst quarterback definitely overpaid in my opinion but he can get uh Tyreek Hill the ball and waddle the ball and his weapons and uh that run game for the Dolphins is underrated it's it's pretty good it's up there uh one of the some of the best um so you can't count the the Dolphins out when they're down to three in the third quarter this what I'm trying to say they're not that kind of team in my opin like the 49ers are not like that if they're down 17 to three in the third quarter they can come back from it uh Chiefs example and stuff I feel like the Dolphins are that type of team so I'm not shocked by it but if you're a jaguars fan or if you're uh on the Jaguars team you got to feel bummed and being like why did we let that happen but it's just because yeah it's because Jaguars didn't score it's also because the Dolphins are just one of those teams that that can score those uh clutch points in the fourth quarter to win the game so but again I would have rathered you guys win the game for real I would have rather you guys win the game Broncos versus Seahawks all right so wasn't impressed with Gino I've seen the highlights wasn't impressed uh is Mike McDaniel looking better than I thought he was I'll give him that credit however this was against the Broncos who are supposed to be one of the worst teams in the league uh bonick two interceptions he didn't look that great you know he looked really good in the preseason he looked like one of the best quarterbacks uh in the draft you know but every quarterback looks really great in the draft usually that's a rookie I think Caleb Williams looked pretty good uh Kenny picket looked great in the preseason there's a lot of preseason Heroes out there so so yeah um bonck so yeah I'm a little I'm I'm a little shocked by the 26 to 20 because I really thought the Seahawks were gonna lose that one uh I think my friend pogy had him winning that game uh I don't remember the score he put down but my friend poy where we do a show every Sunday he's gonna be every people don't but I like him as like his personality and you know he's just fun he's just a fun dude it kind of reminds me of Sam Hartman I'm not gonna lie but I like him I actually like Gardner muu so it kind of sucks that he's not successful even though he went 25 for 33 Jesus Christ he played pretty good only 10 points too he played like he played according to Stats he played like the one of the best quarterbacks past weekend Justin Herbert dear Lord dude 17 for 26 144 I I you know what I guess it is a new system you know and the wide receivers aren't the best let's be real they got lad makoni the rookie got five receptions 39 yards and one touchdown that's not bad okay rookie making plays score summary Dicker the kicker Alexander Madson mattinson is still playing running back is that the uh Alexander Madison Jesus that dude's old bunch of kicks Daniel [Music] Carlson poor poor mchu Chargers might be good this year they got Jim Harbaugh and I believe in Jim Harbaugh Jim Harbaugh took San Francisco 49ers who was absolutely terrible at the time and he flipped that organization around so if he can do with the 49ers he could do with the Chargers that have a franchise quarterback in Justin Herbert uh if he fails with Justin Herbert I would be shocked that would tell me that Justin Herbert's not a good quarterback some would say it's Jim harb is not a good coach but he Jon Herbert Justin her had enough coaches okay and if Jim Harbaugh can't fix him not fix him but reveal his talent who really can who really can I really think bonck is gonna come back and do great I actually was shocked I actually liked his potential I think he had really good accuracy and the way and I don't want to fall into the Zack Wilson trap but he kind of reminds me of Zack Wilson like in the way of way he throws the ball like the the same way we we were impressed with Zach Wilson is kind of how I'm impressed with bone Knicks he make he could throw the ball sling it on his back foot he's got He's Got Talent and um Shawn pton is one of the best quarterback coaches out there so if they does have talent and there someone that can unlock it it's definitely him it's possible Shawn pay's washed because it's been a while but Drew Brees is something you know what I mean Drew Brees Drew Brees Drew bre so uh but yeah I guess I'm not shocked that Chargers beat the right the the Raiders but just the Raiders just look all the time like they're never going to win they're never gonna go to the playoffs they just it's not it's not it all right Cowboys versus Browns what they beat up a team that doesn't have a quarterback they beat up a team that doesn't have a quarterback yeah we're back baby with the Cowboys [ __ ] you dude you beat up DeShawn Watson dude bro is missing wideopen players your defense is going to get exposed when You Face a good offense because there's multiple clips of DeShaun Watson missing a lot of wideopen receivers so wait until you actually face a quarterback who's competent and actually could see the field I I can't wait I can't wait this team's going to get exp exposed you know what let's look at let's look at their team who let's see if they face so the Browns Saints I don't think they're that's the offense to expose even though Saints won 47 to 10 ra they're get [ __ ] crushed by the Ravens because Lamar is the regular season um Champion so Lamar's gonna do his thing okay as long as he do look like if Lamar looks like he does in his next game like he did in his first game uh that dude's gone Giants that's a W for them Steelers they not facing a quarterback again so trash quarterback trash quarterback trash quarterback like top 20 quarterback uh this is probably the most dangerous quarterback they're facing so far this is the okay they are gonna get crushed by the Lions and the 49ers so week October 13th and 27th are going to be the worst like Sundays for the Cowboys count on it because they're actually gonna kind of like him that might be something embarrassed to admit I don't know but I feel bad for him all right so uh Cowboys versus uh Browns we just talked about that commanders versus Buccaneers I mean I'm not too surprised uh I wish jayen Daniels played a little bit better but Baker Mayfield cooked absolutely made a restaurant in Las Vegas and uh was so good it took down Bobby Fay's restaurant uh it's got all the awards Salt Bay ever his [ __ ] name is works there now too because it's so good that's how well he cooked against the commanders yes it is the commander so let's like reserve ourselves a little bit it's week one also but my God he was the best looking quarterback barnun I gotta give credit when credits too he was that guy so gotta do it do oh be sure to like the live guys with this boring ass [ __ ] I promise Lions versus Rams uh the lions are definitely a contender jarro goof not the best quarterback but my God is he good enough with the with weapons he has the offensive line he has the Run game that he has the defense that he has like I just realized they have two rookie Corners who are absolute studs coming out of the draft rastra and uh terion Arnold they got a good defense out there and they actually are pretty young if Jered go can keep doing what he's doing right now the Lions could be like I'm not saying like the 49ers but the they like the 49ers they set themselves up for a good future is what I'm trying to say so if gof can continue his uh his uh his play and the defense as young as it is and the offense as young as it is this this Lions team is set up for a very good future and I'm pretty sure we'll go to multiple NFC championship games at the very least I don't want to say Super Bowl yet because history hasn't exactly been on their side so but they're set up the Rams I'm sorry but if if to anyone who saw that game it looked like a playoff game to the Rams it meant so much to them to win that game they were putting all the effort Possible Oh puka n is going to go on IR uh not season ending though he should come back but um they looked like they gave everything they possibly could to beat the Lions and the lions were like yeah whatever we'll just go into overtime and just [ __ ] these guys up and end it like Montgomery was an absolute beast at the end of an overtime he could not be stopped there was nothing they could do he went to Baran Lynch mode absolutely Marshon Lynch mode he just it was one of the craziest moment it was one of the it was like a little Garrett blunt moment you know where I just didn't see it coming it came out of nowhere and he just became that guy because little Garrett blunt back in like two for the Super Bowl and stuff he was he was like that you couldn't bring him down man for like a year he was good all right Lions 49ers versus Jets we already we I've talked about like a billion times but just a quick uh recap uh I like Brock py I thought he played o at worst okay to good for some reason I'm not saying for some reason but a lot of people are giving a lot more praise than me and I love Brock pie but I just thought he played good like everyone say he played great I'm convinced that he's an elite now Etc ET St I don't I didn't see that I I think he's played way better games than he did uh than that week uh against the Jets I thought he's played way better games so uh that was kind of weird but this is the game that's convincing everybody that Brock part's Elite I love it let's do it but I think he was just good uh Jordan Mason and M VP no doubt he's without a doubt going to get an extension after this year bro is getting an extension or maybe even the middle of the season I don't know but it's happening he's gonna be on this team uh he's going to be the second back he's gonna be the new Elijah Mitchell he's probably gonna ask for a lot more money so that might actually hinder that but I can imagine the San Francisco 49ers right now after watching that game think oh my God give him whatever money possible like the cheapest he need to give him the cheapest contract possible right now because if he continues to play like he's doing right now that's get more and more and more and more expensive to where you can't afford a backup you know for especially a guy who if he continues to play where he's playing deserves to be a starter somewhere so if you want to pull a Madden and be like n no one can have him even if he's a starter even if uh it screws over Jordan Mason where he deserves the opportunity to start somewhere because he is a starter like then you got to do that that's the business move pay what you can now give him super cheap Ba's washed right yeah he needs to he needs to he's to get that rust off figure it out I don't know like I don't think it was that bad but he did do weird things and again I've talked about already but he jumps for the ball when he doesn't need to he's always done that a little bit but it's gotten a lot it looked a lot worse than week one uh he's catching the ball with his chest and not his hands so that's weird to see uh and then he drops like a diving catch I understand it's diving I get it but if it's in your hands you don't really have to do too much effort at that you're not reaching for it it's not a one-handed catch it's in your hands man you just gotta look at it and Pull It in grab it pull it in it's all you had to do it's not like he had to extend his feet in a weird way while trying to catch it he was already in the air all he had to do was do the thing of catching as if he was running to catch it because there's nothing else hindering him at that point so it it's really weird he flat out just dropped it he just flat out dropped it and I always thought that auk had mid hands I always saw that he needs balls to be bread basketballs and that was a bread basketball and usually he catches bread basketballs that was weird that was weird it was hopefully he fixes that gets out his Funk I'm not gonna lie to you ba also looks as if he stayed with the Titans for seven months he looks like a Titan bro's got weird beard weird hair happening he looks kind of slouched not very as confident as if the whole thing the whole uh contract thing did kind of hurt him a little bit I'm not saying it's going to this is just my opinion by the way this is just my opinion I'm not saying this is exactly what it is my opinion I think it did hurt him a little bit and it hurt the connection a bit do I think it's gonna healed of course he's still there the teammates from what I've seen I've seen clips of him talking to iuk and stuff like that're they're cheering him up they're getting his back they're being around him so let that grow let that fester and then uh allow him to get more practice reps in to catch the ball he'll be I think he'll be back to back toh where he was because I've also seen Brock py talk to Brandon iuk and it looks like they were smiling and having a good conversation I saw that like before a play they did so do I think it's a little bit of hinderous yes in my opinion I do but I think he'll get over it in like just a few weeks so slow stream today ah it's all right man you know some are good some are great you know I would like it to be a lot bigger that'd be dope but you know that's the grind man you win some you lose some but there's sometimes people watch this look at it it's pre-recorded show and people are gonna watch it later it's kind of like a talk show you know it's it's live like a late show it's live right but then you watch it later and it's right so chrisan McCaffrey's injury could linger for Fantasy Football managers I don't give a [ __ ] uh Kyle Shan forers must be very careful about Chris cafes Achilles yes I do agree because in my research for the injury uh it really because if they don't even know right and they're not telling us hey we know we actually have a timetable and from what I heard Kyle Shanahan is not uh gonna put him on IR but yeah you don't know when he's gonna return it's kind of weird it's a little weird um four ners will be extra cautious with Christian McCaffrey Christian mcaffry cath killes was Limited in practice today um what else kle Shannon told reporters that running back Chris will be limited in practice due to this calf injury tentis Chris mcaffry could be out longer than more than just one week I thought so too I think he's gonna be out I think he's not gonna be back until October that's my guess just because if from what I researched if it goes past one to four weeks and it's still bothering him this injury can go to three to six months and if it's still bothering them it can go to six to one year so there's it's almost like if it really depends upon the body and no really doctor really knows it's like literally a day-to-day thing because like next day it could be fine so uh I'm going to assume that if from what I research that it's gonna be three months and he heard it August 6th so was it August September October so and uh yeah so I guess November then e dude oh I hope I'm wrong oh that would suck oh thank God we have Jordan Mason bro thank God we have Jordan Mason thank God holy [ __ ] if he's oh my god dude I hope Jordan Mason stays elfing if that's the case but you know what I'm gonna say he defies three months and he comes back in October that's my feeling that's just my opinion whatever your opinion is when do you think CMC is going to come back when do you think he's going to be healthy again because it sounds to me it's a mystery nobody knows it that's how red he is and it looks like he's super stoned and embarrassed all right so let's go ahead and uh take a let's go ahead and take a uh a uh let's go and listen to it it's serious enough but that forers have to keep the secret about yeah because if the if the opponent knows that Christian mcaffry is not playing then I think they would uh yeah I can see why that' pretty that's smart of like for you to be back in Levi Stadium to be back in Levi Stadium Monday Night Football to me when you play on Monday night that's a statement game so I was all fired up even though I was not in uniform anything like that you know going against the Jets going against Aaron Rogers I wish I uh actually paid attention I was a fan and I've seen the 49ers win the Super Bowl but I was young and I wasn't like that into football I was obviously young I was doing other [ __ ] I was playing game boy and crap like that but you know I would love to have been part to truly have been part of and like watch that dynasty as much as I turned out to love football later on in in my years uh that's the one thing I wish I could have been a part of and I wish I was a fan like really at a young young young age so uh it's really cool to see other fans out there that um I'm a little jealous that's what I'm trying to say like it's really cool that some dads and families and stuff like that like from birth they're this person so they see everything you know so I kind of missed out on that just because it didn't become something until 2005 it I I but I've seen his highlights you know I've seen uh all the Super Bowls I've wa rewatched all the ones before my birth you know all of it uh yeah just a just a great player and and uh I take a lot of the saying things that he says as a 49ers fan very seriously because you know he's he's my goat technically him and Joe Montana are the two players that I will faint if I ever meet Jay Rice and Joe Montana I will lose it Steve Young not not I don't love Steve Young as much as other people do but those are my two players I will lose my [ __ ] and uh you know lose my tell me in the comments so people who watch this later as well who is a player because we all that you'll be completely Starstruck you know for a fact that if you see him you'd be like picture no kind of moment you know I I I felt they did what they had to do uh you know the energy in the stadium was uh at a high uh everybody wanted to get off to a very uh positive start I I think offensive wise uh you know we did what we had to do to win that football game we ran the ball Jordan Mason uh exceptional uh Brock pie exceptional uh the receivers uh we had a Brandon iuk uh he had a touchdown that was close and also one reception that he dropped two that was two but I think overall because he gonna have to get up the pace back guys uh with regular season no pre-season games my uh surprised that mcaffrey didn't play uh defensive Wise Wise uh Fred Warner just running all over the place defensive wise you know cost and havoc and uh you know uh they were able to get a turnover but you know first of all great win but now we got to get ready for the Vikings on to the next one and you just laid out so many reasons for optimism for this 49ers team Jordan Mason surely missing no time uh trying to get adjusted and make his impact SP with Christian mcaffrey out but obviously the 49ers have enjoyed a lot of success in recent years back to backto back trips to to the NFC championship game off of an appearance in the Super Bowl but they haven't been able to break through I SP my water so I almost destroyed you optimism that this could be the year and this could be the season that the 49ers Hoist the Lombardi trophy you know you have to put the work in you can't guarantee anything but you you got to fight your way back streaming service streaming I feel like we have the guys to do that we we you know uh all right so we got what Gotta Love k no doubt no doubt no doubt he's funny I met Jerry Roger and Bubba Paris but would love to meet Joe and Steve oh was Jerry dope dude he's usually a good guy with 49s fans usually he's very pumped and stuff I'm jealous uh Roger Craig I like Roger Craig it's pretty cool Bubba Paris I don't know who bble Paris is believe it or not but would love to meet Joe and Steve meeting Joe would be dope like quite literally if I shook Jimmy G like that okay he's like this is the guy a lot of people are saying this is the guy heck even Nick Wright's coming around even Nick Wright's coming around that's crazy it's crazy that one game against the Jets that was the the game that convinced everyone you know what now I think about it I think you know why people think that he played great uh to Elite is because auk was so Rusty and Debo looks so slow and they didn't have CMC and they had Trent Williams even though he performed even though I think I've seen him play better uh come off of uh not really being train Camp stuff so I think people now I think about it I think people looked at it that way where he pretty much didn't have the Avengers he had the uh Thunderbolts you know didn't have the Avengers he had the Thunderbolts on that week and everyone was like okay well he's clearly sentury so he's pretty he's pry clearly good all right of throwing the ball and not holding on to it uh and the respect that he gets uh in the Huddle all of that but you got to work you got to go you know try to win a lot of football games uh get back to those play off games and once you get to those playoff games uh the season actually starts all over again you know because all the work that you you put in BR got smaller hands than I imagined what's his hand size can't be that small right [Music] nice 9.5 inches yeah is kind of small usually 10 inch hands is kind of what you want for a wide receiver that's kind of small and to get there now it goes to a whole different level so but I I think we have uh the leadership uh we have the players in position now we just got to uh somehow fight our way back and somehow not let and and everyone is saying that it's going to be KC but nobody is saying it's going to be 49ers so I felt like that was a little dis respect but we are not gonna let KC if if if we are facing each other we're not going to let them threee that cannot happen Okay that cannot happen Jerry Rice dude I love that so much dude that cannot happen you know you you want to know why you want to know why because the 49ers almost repeated came fre close and then they lost I don't remember the team I should know the team but they lost in the playoffs and they got pretty close they almost repeated and so now Jerry Rice's like no we cannot have them threee we cannot have them not only crush us twice we can't make them three repeat also the next year so I see where he's coming from but I absolutely love the passion I love where he's like this is personal to me do not let this happen 49ers and honestly if we beat them uh this year because we do play the Chiefs this year if we beat them I'll be a lot more optimistic okay but as of right now they have our number so we'll see but uh you know I'm hoping that my my team is able to get back and just kick that door in you bring up Brock py how some people might not believe that he's the guy where do you think that sentiment comes from and what gives you confidence that he is the guy you know to come from being Mr irrelevant to where he's at now can you you know because he was the last pick in the draft what a storyline this is this is like a movie you know that's happening and and just to watch him grow and and and his leadership how composed he is he doesn't get rattled the velocity uh on his throws the execution all of those things and and I think he's only going to get better he's only going to get better and he's going to get look how [ __ ] happy comfortable and uh he's going to put us in position and win again it is such a great story you know Mr Irrelevant to fast forward in the Super Bowl maybe a little bit of a sense of Doubt or a chip on their shoulder you mentioned how everyone's talking about the Chiefs getting back to the Super Bowl but maybe the 49ers aren't getting as much love what does that do to a team maybe hearing the outside noise or maybe feeling a little bit of Doubt from everybody else fire Papa you know you hear that outside noise uh you try not to uh retaliate you know just be quiet just so funny that that Jerry Rice would say that because did he not retaliate to somebody who yeah gave I think was kind of a like why would you ask him that question I I and then the reporters try like act like I just asked him a question man it was about the receivers wasn't that big of a deal uh so it's kind of funny for Cherry rice to say that but I know where he's coming from when he says it for the team even though if it sounds hypocritical or not he's not lying so just do what you have to do on the football field uh win football games and uh you know if this was a talking game uh you know you would probably go out and hire some of the best talkers to get it done you know you actually have to play the game so uh you know just you know just go and and take care of what you have to do and uh just get back to the big dance and once you get to the back big dance uh you know just know that you have the confidence you have the players you you you have the dogs to get it done that's it anything can happen in the National Football League we do have the dogs to get it done but then again we had the dogs last Super Bowl we had the dogs in 2019 you know you could even say we had the dogs in uh 2012 know we had the dogs you know and it's just the other team usually has other dogs too you know so like just having dogs is not is not you know like I I see where Jerry Rice is coming from you know we do have the tools we have the weapons but you know there is uh he's not wrong when he says confidence we need to have that we need to be well more prepared we definitely need to take it more seriously it needs to be taken more seriously what I mean by that is like there's there was a lot of penalties there was a lot of mistakes um it was terrible every everything that was happening like the Green Bay Packers game first first half Lions first half carried over to the Super Bowl a lot of things were just going wrong constantly and I think and I'm not trying to be mean here when I say this but I I can't remember who had an interview but they said uh they're kind of they was kind of star struck by the Super Bowl you know and uh you think you're gonna win it was auk he said that he's like I think we're just gonna win we got this just do it no man you gota go there you gotta earn it you gota go there like Tom Brady went in there from from what I've heard about Tom Brady from what I've seen Tom Brady I don't think he's ever says like we're just going to win this like he says things like I'm gonna work my ass off and I'm going to make sure we do everything right like all that it it just felt like the 49ers didn't have the right mindset they they it's great to feel like it's your year I get that but a lot of teams feel like it's their year and they come up short you need to bring a lot more effort a lot more preparation and a lot more attention to detail because again there's a lot of teams that have dogs and that have potential so H H Terell what up dude welcome to the stream life is but a dream welcome back Milwaukee all right so let's go that is time in the league that you pass on to some younger receivers just work hard show up be accountable every day uh lead by you know uh what you do on the football field and off I feel like uh he may may he may do this he may do this but we all know those words like hey go and work every day get better every day blah blah blah BL blah but I feel like it needs to be emphasized just a little bit more by like what do you mean by that exactly like uh you can't be thinking about this you need to start focusing on that like what are the details of those words like that's what we need when someone says those words because if you don't go to detail that's just your basic yeah we already know that [ __ ] but how are you going to do that that's what we need to know off the football field and make your teammates better so when your teammates when they see you doing that over and over they're going to buy into it they're going to do the same thing uh Debo Samuel uh you know slash running back slash receiver does it all don't give him praity uh the way he can make cuts and and just run away from people it's incred you can make Cuts I'm a I'm coming off as a huge Debo hater I'm sorry guys but I I don't want to hear how good he was week one because he wasn't he wasn't he was I've said it a thousand times he's slow man he doesn't have a burst okay yeah he's great at evading Defenders behind the line of scrimmage week one that's what I saw I didn't see anything incredible from Debo was impress impress you know one one of the things that I always did back in the day I was the first one on the football field I was the last one to lead so when you when you have uh you know players that uh totally committed to uh winning football games and winning uh you know trying to win a Super Bowl uh it's going to happen so those are some of the things I I sort of like when I'm around the guys I try to let them know that hey man look this is the greatest opportunity ever you get a chance to play the greatest sport professional football where you can you know you can touch so many lives and then get so many fans excited but you know what they also they pay you for it they pay they pay you big money for it what you know how can it get any better than that so he's pretty much saying like they're getting paid to play the kids game which I don't know I I get it's a kids game but I think it's I wouldn't take it that it's a kids game because people are like I don't know I understand kids play it but it's a little more serious than that I think just because people can actually physically get hurt permanently damaged and stuff like that you know so all right so that was Jerry Rice speaking I'm super happy about Jerry Rice I think he's one of the he's the greatest player of all time uh he's the definition of putting in work great player love him good dude uh one of the guys I want to meet one of my Idols um yeah man I think I've seen like maybe one bad highlight from Jerry Rice which was it was pretty bad I think we lost that playoff game too so it's pretty bad but I'll never forget the one the one bad highlight I could never forget is the uh he he was I think he was playing the Giants I don't remember the team but he was playing a certain team they threw the ball it was a post cut inside and he he caught it and he was going very far to the touchdown but it just he just slipped the ball just slipped out of his hands and he fumbled it the other team recovered it it supposed to be a touchdown and then if you go see Jerry Rice I didn't like his reaction because his injury can actually erupt his Achilles so as long as that's there it's a danger and I'm not saying I I'm not saying uh seems he could be gone for the rest of the season maybe come back to playoffs if he still kind of feels it whatever but yeah he just needs to be rested until the entire thing is gone um so because Jordan Mason's a stud man he's getting it done I know that's only week one maybe teams are gonna figure him out uh Cory and George KD they did basic z uh um outside Zone base uh outside Zone run plays so maybe the 49ers will get more creative with Jordan Mason depending upon cmc's injury but I think seems right now it seems like Jordan Mason can let CMC rest so look at what happened to Green all yeah man y y yep got those Achilles injuries got that Achilles man I hope he comes back in November but he got hurt in February dude so that's probably it's like the worst time well actually the worst time is the start of the Season never mind but like his recovery is not gonna be
