oh what are your feelings after the defense I mean games like that are you know the night games it's on TV everyone's watching it like those are the ones you have for for so I mean for our defense to go out and play like that man it was so much fun just drive after Drive getting sacks tfls I mean all that scoring on defense you know that's what we um said we were going to do and that's what we went out there and did so I mean I mean it was just so much fun I I love the D I love the guys on the defense side of the ball I love on the offensive side of the ball I mean that was just such a fun game to be a part of why were you guys able to get home as much as you did with the the fourman rush we were just I mean just Relentless that's I mean we talked about it all offseason as getting home with fourman rush and um we just we I just I feel like we outworked them tonight and that's what we're going to continue to do throughout the whole season those first couple drives that you guys had defensively I mean how did that kind of set the tone for everything tie the sack the ball down yeah no I mean that sets a tone for the rest of the game like that's what they knew they were going to have for 60 minutes we went out there with the mindset that we were going to play 60 Minutes of hard nose football and that's that's what we did at what point did you realize it was going to be a real challenge for their interior or line to block you and in a room our mindset going into the game is that um they can't block us and that's that's I mean that's how it ended up being tonight and that's how it's going to be going forward is we don't think anyone can block us and we're going to go out there and do our thing every week what the what does a game like that just do for your confidence moving forward oh it boosts confidence a ton you know um obviously there's a lot of some stuff to clean up and and we're going to get um in the room where you know we're going to celebrate this win tonight and then we're going to be back at tomorrow um with corrections and just continue to build off I can get better how would you describe the crowd impact on you guys but also Colorado and what they were trying to do offens oh yeah the crowd was amazing tonight you know the obviously hust Nation they're the best the best fans of college football and they showed up tonight in a big way for us they um that was that was one of the louder moments I've been a part of in Memorial Stadium you know that opening drive and towards the end there like it just the whole the stadium was rocking the whole time it was it was awesome fans had a big impact tonight how do you guys as a team kind of get dialed in because I mean there's so much stuff around this game I mean there's kind of almost a circus at out there but yeah no that we we were making it about us all week long you know it's it's it's not about um whoever we're playing every week it's it's about us and so we just have that mindset and that's what we're going to continue to do is it's it's always about us it's never about who we're playing or what they got going on there their side of the ball it's it's about us do you as an older guy ever allow yourself to take a minute look around and far this program's come oh absolutely absolutely you know to be an older guy um part of this being a part of um what we're doing here just um it's it's incredible you know that's that's why you come to Nebraska to uh to come out and playing games like that and um we just decided to keep build and keep getting better the rest of the season thanks thanks
