Wide Receivers You MUST START and SIT in Week 1 (Every Matchup) | 2024 Fantasy Football yo what is going on everyone my name is Nick or the notorious fantasy and in today's video we're going to be going in depth through every single matchup of the week in terms of the wide receivers and I'll be telling you guys whether I think you should start or sit the wide receivers in every single game all the way from Thursday Night Football through Monday Night Football but before we can get on into this wide receiver breakdown for week number one I would like to ask that if you guys are new to the must start and sit for week number one of the 20124 fantasy football season we (TNF) Baltimore Ravens at Kansas City Chiefs begin with the first matchup of the 2024 NFL season the Baltimore Ravens at the Kansas City Chiefs the defending back-to-back Super Bowl champions for the Baltimore Ravens flowers is going to see a lot more matchups this season that are way better than this one as I really do believe the Kansas City Chiefs definitely have a top 10 defense in the NFL and their defense doesn't really get enough credit or as much credit as they du due to the fact that everyone is busy slobbering on the knob of Patrick Mahomes this game has the upside to be a high-scoring tit forat Rockham sakam robots back and forth of fair and with so few weapons for the Baltimore Ravens in terms of the passing attack outside of Z flowers and Marky Mark Andrews flower has that big weak winning upside if he continues where he left off up against the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs hopefully this time without a fumble that I really could see Z flowers having a top five wide receiver game but more realistically he is more of a low-end wide receiver too so if you have Z flowers he would be a great lowend wide receiver to or Flex option important to note if you're newer to fantasy football or maybe you just don't know that you should never be playing your Flex in the Thursday night football games those early games or Friday Night Football in this case due to the fact that you want to have that flexibility at the flex position in case someone was to get hurt or something like that so if Z flowers is normally your Flex move him into the wide receiver number two spot Rashad Master baitman is going to be a Sit he always ends up having these flashes in Camp like he's in a Girls Gone Wild video But ultimately it never really amounts to anything and while I'm a big fan of Rashad baitman I am not going to be starting him this week Nelson agalar has an iconic video surrounding him he's not actually in the video but there was a situation in Philadelphia where a baby needed to be lowered down from a building that was on fire Someone caught the baby and the guy from Philadelphia said I caught the baby but you want to know who wouldn't have caught the baby that bum Nelson agalar Nelson agalar is a bit better than he was back then but you're definitely not starting him up against that Stout Chief's defense for the Kansas City Chiefs without Hollywood Brown we should definitely feel a lot more confident in Rashi rice and I think rashy rice is going to be cooking in this matchup even though this isn't the best matchup on paper he should be a safe low-end wide receiver too I would definitely rank him though ahead of Z flowers with that same top 12 upside due to the Kansas City Chiefs offense being so good this is Xavier Worthy's first game if you want to start him you want to roll the dice you're hoping for that long bomb touchdown then go ahead and play him but personally in his first game it's a little bit too risky for me Justin Watson should be the number three without Hollywood and he is a clear sit moving to Friday Night Football in (FNF, Brazil) Green Bay Packers at Philadelphia Eagles Brazil the Green Bay Packers at the Philadelphia Eagles for the Philadelphia Eagles it is incredibly easy here you're starting AJ Brown and you're starting Devonte Smith you drafted AJ Brown in the first round or if by the grace of the fantasy football Gods he fell to the second round you drafted him there the Mantra the motto of early season fantasy football in these starts at videos is keep it simple stupid you drafted the guy in the first the second the third the fourth the fifth round you are not magically going to just sit them unless they are banged up so AJ Brown you drafted him to be this Elite wide receiver this wide receiver with top three upside in any given game so you're going to play him in what could be a high-scoring game in Brazil Brazil up against the Packers I will note that he does have a tough matchup up against Alexander and I will also note that I am slightly worried that while this game was being played in Philadelphia it might be a firefight since this game is in Brazil and typically these overseas matchups end up not being the highest scoring that is something to note Devonte Smith is easily a wide receiver too in my rankings somewhere from wide receiver I would say 20 18 16 anywhere in there Devonte Smith was a guy that I was kind of low on early on in the off season and then the more and more I thought about the Kell Moore system I started to like Devonte Smith more he didn't have the best year last season but Devonte Smith is still an incredibly talented wide receiver and up against the Packers if we do end up seeing AJ Brown get locked up like that Aon song Devonte Smith could have a huge spot Jan Dodson got traded to the team roughly 7 seconds ago you weren't going to start Johan doson in Washington you're definitely not going to start him here in Philadelphia with Brown and Smith ahead of him for the Green Bay Packers if this was the best case scenario the best case scenario for you is to just sit all of them sit jayen Reed sit Christian Watson sit Romeo dobs but jayen Reed did just barely look over the fence like that tall dude in Home Improvement to with Tim the toolman and he was able to just barely eclipse the criteria of being a start worthy guy but he is a bottom of the barrel start due to the risk we know that the Green Bay Packers are going to look to employ a bunch of wide receivers game in and game out now my personal belief is that jayen Reed will be the number one wide receiver on this team in terms of targets and if that is the case then you're going to have a solid game up against the Eagles but I kind of want to see it with my eyes before I come on here and give the gawk gawk 9000 special to jayen Reed but if you drafted Jaden Reed based upon me talking him up like I think you should have then Jaden Reed is a fine start here but again he is not a super high-end option this week again because of the potential just bad game overall narrative being in Brazil plus the fact that they use so many wide receivers next up we move to the 1 pm. slate on Sunday say hello to Scott (1PM) Pittsburgh Steelers at Atlanta Falcons Hansen Pittsburgh Steelers at the hotlanta Falcons Drizzy Drake London top two round pick some leagues he fell into the third round Kohl's cash Kirk under Center I was a big fan of Mr Drake London in the off season I have been a fan of Drake London for a while but the quarterback play ultimately sunk his Battleship game in and game out and the fact that Arthur Smith is an absolute dunce now Drake London gets to take that sweet sweet revenge out on Arthur Smith and lay a pipe for that ass like he was a plumber shout out to Mario so I love Drake London in this game now I don't have him ranked inside of my top 12 but I definitely believe that he is a safe top 24 wide receiver in this matchup up against the Pittsburgh Steelers offense with big upside if Kirk Cousins comes out balling George pickings for the Pittsburgh Steeler is my other wide receiver start in this game George Pickins to me feels relatively safe as well but more of as a wide receiver 3/ Flex option I like George Pickins a ton the guy is incredibly talented but he's dealing with some quarterback woses obviously with Russell Wilson Mr unlimited under Center Russell Wilson is levels above the other bums that were throwing him the ball last season but it is still something to worry about I think the game plan for Arthur Smith in this matchup is going to be a whole lot of running so that could also hurt Pickins but if the Falcons end up getting up big they're going to have to run away from the Run throw the ball a lot more and Pickins just feels like a guy that's going to get a safe amount of targets so he's not really going to let you down on the week the other Steelers are van Jefferson and Roman Wilson Van Jefferson's one of those guys that every couple of weeks in LA with the Rams would have a game where he dro DRS his nut sack into the mouth of the defense but with his quarterback now being Russell Wilson instead of Matthew Stafford and with the Steelers offense not really being the best on paper I would stay away from Van Jefferson Roman Wilson feels like someone that should play this week his health should be good but I think they end up easing him in so you don't want to play him Darnell here comes the Mooney is one of my favorite late round picks I love the upside of Darnell Mooney being the number two wide receiver in a Kirk Cousins offense with that said though game one up against the Steelers defense he is best left on your bench Ray Ray McLoud the third should be the third wide receiver on the Falcons Ray Ray McLoud is not very good so you're not going to start the number three wide receiver on the Atlanta Arizona Cardinals at Buffalo Bills Falcons next up we move to the Arizona Cardinals at the no one circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills now all offseason you would have heard variety of takes on Marvin Harrison Jr ion Coleman and the rest of the Bills wide receivers right with Marvin Harrison Jr there were people like me who loved Marvin Harrison Jr who don't worry about paying the high draft capital for a rookie wide receiver because the rookie wide receiver we're talking about here is Marvin Harrison 2.0 a generational Talent at the wide receiver position a guy that is going to be putting defenses in the figure four all season long but some people they get their panties in a bunch and they can't draft a rookie wide receiver that high now the bills defense got shuffled around very heavily in the off season does that mean they're going to be bad no but maybe they start off a little bit slow masera Marv is going to get fed the ball at an incredibly High rate in this matchup as well as all season long and you would be absolutely silly in my opinion not to start him and he will be a top 12 wide receiver in my rankings in his first ever NFL start this is a guy that is always open like 7-Eleven and I think it is very possible that this game gets away from the Cardinals and they have to throw the ball a ton late which gives me even more confidence more upside with Marvin Harrison Jr Michael Wilson is another guy that I kind of like late in drafts because I like the fact that Kyler Murray's fully healthy but up against the Buffalo Bills in a game where most people probably expect the Arizona Cardinals to get kicked in the goad I would stay away from Michael Wilson as well as the short King Greg dorch another rookie wide receiver that a lot of people are kind of super high on or super low on no one really in the middle like Malcolm would be Keon Coleman why is that because you either really like the upside that he possesses as Josh Allen's number one wide receiver a wide receiver that Josh Allen wanted the team to draft or you believe that Keon Coleman's tape at College shows that he is bad at separating right we just sucked off Marvin Harrison's um separation upside how great of a separator he Ison Coleman not so much but he's going to see a lot of targets should at least and should be the wide receiver one based upon what we saw in preseason and what I've heard out of training camp now this is another scenario where you kind of want to just Duck and Cover right you drafted Keon Coleman you didn't have to draft him high so just chill him on your bench put him in the ice box and wait to see what happens up against the Cardinal defense if you're playing in DFS you're in a super deep league if I had to start one of them gun to the Head it would probably be Keon Coleman though I do think think khil Shakir Shakir Shakira oh baby when you talk like that would be the safer bet Curtis Samuel should be good to go with a turf toe as he did practice last week though it is something to monitor for some reason you had to play him Curtis Samuel is either Boomer bust every single week he is either going to go out there and drop 15 20 25 points or have negative s points not really but he'll have like two points or 20 plus that is not something I'm really looking for though in week Tennessee Titans at Chicago Bears number one game number five here we got the Le titons the Tennessee Titans at the Chicago Bears now when it comes to the Tennessee Titans DeAndre Hopkins is close to recovering from his knee injury he said that the team will make the right call which means that you know he's going to tell the team to play him I assume he plays but he is coming back you know he's older guy suffering from a knee injury that doesn't give me a whole lot of confidence in week one up against it Bears defense that I think is very good so dehop old man himself the Unk might be able to come back and have a solid stretch of the season but early on I kind of want to stay away until I see it because maybe he goes out there and you know DeAndre Hopkins he might just be built different right he's really good and he goes out there and has a great game or he goes out there looks a little bit hobbled and doesn't play like the dehop that you are used to so Calvin Ridley will be a start for me Ridley should be in for a solid season as Nick Hull's former pass game coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars is now the offensive coordinator in Tennessee and Nick holes basically gave his hole up metaphorically for Calvin Ridley as he was feeding Calvin Ridley game in and game out like he was out of Viva Las Vegas buffet I will be frank when I say I don't love this matchup I don't love going up against that Bears defense but he should be fine on volume alone match that with the fact that dehop is banged up I think Ridley should be a find wide receiver 3 or flexx option for you then they have Tyler yeah boy on the bench for my team if I had Tyler Boyd I wouldn't play him I wouldn't draft Tyler Boyd either I'm a big fan of the guy always have been since his days in Cincinnati but in Tennessee I am not starting him for the Bears we're to talk about DJ Moore and Keenan Allen as Starts Now DJ Moore was a guy that I metaphorically sucked off gave the gawk gawk 9000 special to All Summer Long like my name was August Ames metaphorically of course okay I wasn't actually doing that and I expect DJ Moore to have a huge season as the numo Uno the head of the table number one weapon in Chicago he will be a high-end wide receiver too for me on the week with top five upside up against that Titans defense enan Allen's going to be a start for me as well now to you guys that listen to me in the off season you might be a little bit confused because Nick you really uh didn't like Keenan Allen in the offseason what what made the change for you Nick you're stupid why why you why you changing your mind um it's very simple to me shout out Simple Jack week one week two week three week four week five early on the season Keenan Allen's going to be the number two wide receiver on the team ahead of romad dun but I do believe that romad dun will eventually be able to Eclipse Keenan Allen now Keenan Allen does have a foot injury but that appears to be Miner and GM Ryan said a few days ago that it was related to a cleat issue and he doesn't expect it to affect Keenan Allen much I think Allen will like I said lose his number two role to a dunesday as the season goes along but you know for week number one the first game of the season Keenan Allen should be the Old Reliable solid wide receiver 2 to a high-end wide receiver number three and romad dun is going to ride the pine why M someone who has romad dun on a bunch of teams so I'm hoping he goes crazy in this spot I definitely would New England Patriots at Cincinnati Bengals rather have him on my bench game number six here we got the New England Patriots at the Cincinnati Bengals now Jamar Chase as I'm recording today's video is still holding out right he is still holding out and if they resolve this scenario they give him that big contract you're going to play him even if he's not practicing jar Chase is that good he could show up he could sign the contract Sunday morning and play and I would start as a top five wide receiver that's how good I think he is now if Jamar Chase holds out then you are going to be bricked up to start T Higgins T Higgins would become not just a start he would become a must start if not though if Chase signs then T Higgins will be a low-end wide receiver two to high-end wide receiver three he always has big game upside due to how skilled he is if he was on some other team he would be a lot of teams wide receiver ones another team he'd be the wide receiver one on would be the Patriots which is the team that they are facing today but we got to stay with the Bengals real quick because we got Germaine Burton now I would personally wait to see what the team says like if you could read through the tea leaves figure out who's going to play the chase role if Jamar Chase does not play could be rookie Germaine Burton or rookie Andre isas iosivas iio siasa I think that's how you pronounce it i o s i v S I probably pronounced it wrong I apologize right I am probably one of the worst pronunciator in the game now I will say that Andre 3000 Andre iasas has been much more impressive from everything that I've seen out of camp but the team might prefer Burton in that role from what I have read if you are in a super deep League or maybe you have Jamar Chase and you're a little panicking cuz maybe you don't have great wide receiver depth then you could warrant picking up Germaine Burton or Andre but in reality you probably just want to stay away for the Patriots de Mario Douglas jayen pulk KJ Osborn they've got Javon Baker as well if I had to start one it would be Douglas teach me how to dougy but I do think Jaylen pulk will end up emerging as the wide receiver one on this offense the Bengals defense doesn't really strike fear into my eyes like when if you had to line up up against Ray Lewis or something or if you ended up in a club with Aaron Hernandez or something but week one jayen pul a rookie with jako Bret throwing the ball while I hope he breaks out you're definitely not going to want to start him moving to game number seven Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts here we got a very fun game here the Houston Texans at the Indianapolis Colts Nico Collins is the number one in my opinion on the team in terms of targets Nico Collins was Uber efficient last season and I believe he will be the guy here in week one and for the rest of the season if he Stills he healthy knock on wood up against against the Colts due to the loaded wide receiver core around him though I can't truly give him the suul link special but he will be a high-end wide receiver 2 on my rankings if you don't pick up on what high-end wide receiver 2 means so wide receiver one I'm talking about 12 team leagues is wide receiver 1 through 12 I and wide receiver 2 would be in the range of wide receivers I would say 13 through 16 17 in that range so he's a high-end wide receiver too for me Stefon Diggs could be the number two in Targets on the week on the team he could be the number three but he could also be the number one one of these Elite threesome the trio at the wide receiver Position will probably end up as the odd man out in any given week but you will never be able to really sit any of them due to the amount of upside of this CJ Stroud Le Houston Texans offense I'm debating in my head in my head zomie right uh regarding who I want to rank higher Diggs versus dell ultimately I succumbed to pause to ranking Diggs higher because I think Diggs will just be on the field more and that's just a little bit safer but in my rankings on the season I have Diggs ranked the lowest because I just like the upside a lot more of Dell so Diggs would be like one of the last guys inside the top 24 or a high-end wide receiver three tank Dell will be ranked behind Diggs like I said due to the risk from not being on the field as much but I could easily see him being a top 12 receiver in this game or maybe even flirting with being top five for the Indianapolis Colts Michael Pitman basically has this number one role wrapped up on the team very clearly the clear number one guy on this team and is going to see a ton of volume in this matchup and if he's able to score a touchdown here he could end up inside of the top eight I think he could definitely be top 12 especially since the Colts should be playing from behind having to throw the ball a bunch so I like him as a high-end wide receiver too ad Donnie Mitchell could be the number two in this game could be the number three in terms of targets depending on the health of Josh DS now head coach Shane styken said that Josh DS is progressing well in his recovery from his ankle injury but his week one status is up in the air if he misses we will see Alec Pierce a Donnie Mitchell's a guy that I liked coming out of college but I kind of want to see how this hierarchy goes and how good Richardson looks coming off that injury before I am really ready to throw either of those guys out to the Wolves matchup number Jacksonville Jaguars at Miami Dolphins eight here which marks the halfway point in today's video so make sure you guys hit that Christian Kirk he's a start now all summer long there's been kind of some weird talks on Christian Kirk especially once preseason start started about how hey Christian Kirk might not be in during the two wide receiver sets but I genuinely think that that's kind of fugazi I think he's going to be in there in two wide receiver sets why the would you be playing Gabe Davis over Christian Kirk now if those reports end up being true then I'm going to look like a buffoon because I really did like Christian Kirk and Kirk could even end up having a bad week this week due to going up against potentially Jaylen Ramsey all game long so that makes him a fringe start to me they should be throwing a bunch because I think the Dolphins are going to pound them into submission so he should still crack the top 38 making him startable to me but the fact that he's dealing with a injury right now that calf injury makes him far from ideal so if you have to start him go ahead but if you have other options that are start worthy guys I probably would fade away from Kirk this week Brian Thomas Jr is one of my favorite late round rookie Targets in fantasy football drafts I loved his tape out of LSU his athletic metrics are absolutely insane and all of the coaching staff loves Ryan Thomas Jr but this is game one against a defense I think going to be good so Bryant Thomas Jr will be sitting on the pine but I will be rooting for him actually I will root for him but I'm not really going to root for him right cuz I'm a dolphins fan I want the Dolphins to absolutely eviscerate them Gabe Davis that's a guy he could score 30 points in this game and I wouldn't be surprised but it'll probably score like three so I'm not going to start him for the Miami Dolphins it's easy both Tyreek and Wadd practiced and they will both be good to go for week one Tyreek Hill was either your number one pick your number two pick or your number three pick inside of the first round if he magically fell to like pick four five or six and you got him you are probably bricked up throwing that pick onto the board Tyreek Hill is in my opinion the best wide receiver in the NFL up against the Jaguars defense up against any defense you are going to start him I don't care if he's going up against Prime Time Prime Dion Sanders I'm still playing Tyreek Hill Jaylen waddled away Wadd waddle till the very next day still a start like I said with reek Waddle's calf is good to go Tyreek is like a top three guy in my rankings every single week wad will be in in the wide receiver 2 range but does have some upside if this game does go very strongly the way of the Dolphins Malik Washington should be the number three receiver on this team but I say should be for a reason because that is not a guarantee they still have Braxton beros so while I think Malik Washington's better than Braxton beros Alex Earl's boyfriend I probably wouldn't want to start him in his first NFL start either next game we got the Carolina Panthers Carolina Panthers at New Orleans Saints at the New Orleans but before we break down this game in depth at the wide receiver position and before we break down all of the rest of right you got to rely on him unless you can just trade the guy off of your team I will definitely have ranked lower than most but I do think his floor really isn't even the highest due to Derek Carr throwing the ball and when he throws the ball that thing is shaken like some ass in the club when No Hands by Waka Flaka is playing so he should see a crazy enough amount of volume so in reality like he should be fine as like a low-end wide receiver too but man oh man it's like you really need Derek Carr to wake up for Chris to truly do something Rashid Shah needs one of those very very very fun Boomer bus players like if your team's on by we or you're dealing with a bunch of injuries you just close your eyes throw Shahed in and hope he pops for 15 plus points but in week number one you don't really need to do that because no one is on by at at Perry is a Sit as well we don't even have to talk about him he's not very good for the Carolina Panthers I personally believe that we will end up seeing Deontay Johnson get peppered in targets Salt Bay style right though we know that Bryce young has a love affair for Adam Thelen with the Canalis system in place now I believe Deontay Johnson will become the number one guy and he'll be ranked as a low-end starter for me on the week but and this is a big butt shout out to Kim Kardashian if he does see the volume that I project him to get if he is the clear number one wide receiver if he's able to push Adam Thelen out of the side off to the side he stiff arms him hits him with the Heisman pose and I think that Deontay Johnson could easily be a reliable wide receiver too for your squad weekly Adam thielen I think could be the wide receiver one in the week but he's not a guy you want on your team and you don't want to start him Xavier Legette I think will become the number two but in week number one I think Adam thel is the number two wide receiver on this team Minnesota Vikings at New York Giants next up we got the cold likee Minnesota Vikings at the New York football Giants now Justin Jefferson was a very polarizing player this summer there were people that were like oh my God I can't draft Justin Jefferson and there was other people like me who used the brain and realized that Justin Jefferson was solid last season even without Kirk Cousins so to me Sam darnold Hey Arnold I don't give a damn Justin Jefferson is a top five wide receiver in my rankings and he is going to dissect the Giants defense like his name was Hannibal Hector I believe so heavily in Justin Jefferson you close your eyes and you put him in your lineup I'm not going to waste my time talking him up a whole bunch because you're going to start him every single week doesn't matter the defense Jordan at ainr is a sit for me coming off of the ankle injury that seemed to be very serious and then didn't end up being that serious after he was carded off in practice earlier on in August on August 14th he did practice on Monday my guess is he suits up on Monday but you should not be shocked at all if he isn't fully being used like he normally does and doesn't see his full normal allotment of snaps Jaylen Naylor barely newer will end up getting more touches than normal but in a Sam darnold offense I don't want to do that for the Giants the gmen Malik Neighbors in his first ever game has the upside to rip off a top five fantasy football performance up against the Minnesota Vikings defense while I do believe the risk is evidently there because Daniel Jones stinks he is a disgrace to the quarterback position I do expect him though even if he has a bad game to be a at minimum wide receiver two on the week with that top 12 top five upside ju Del Robinson's a guy that I liked a lot in best ball drafts over on Underdog fantasy that we just talked about a little bit before I loved that they're talking about maybe using him as a running back sometimes which is some added upside I think he's a very talented player but with neighbors there in redraft you're never going to really know the correct week to start him plus with Daniel Jones just means he's like if you picked him in like the last round he's a fun pick like if your back's against the wall you could play him but against week one so your back shouldn't be against the wall Jaylen hayatt here of the Giants I think will end up as the number three behind or ahead of Slayton but Jaylen hayat's a guy that I've fallen in love with before and he ended up burning me now we begin with the 4pm Slate the loss Vegas Raiders at the Los (4 PM) Las Vegas Raiders at Los Angeles Chargers Angeles Chargers now I am lower on Devonte Adams than most people but up against the Chargers defense I expect Adams to finish at bare minimum inside of the top 12 as this is a great matchup for him why am I low on Adams on the season if you didn't watch my offseason content is simple I don't love garden or mchu I don't love Aiden oconnell and I don't love the fact that the team's going to run the ball a ton I think Devonte Adams could very easily be a top 12 wide receiver in fantasy football but I don't see him being a League winner what I mean by that is based upon the draft Capital you use to select him I don't think he's going to finish as a top five or top three wide receiver he's going to finish anywhere from wide receiver 16 I would say to wide receiver 10 or maybe even eight have a solid season but nothing to write home about so that's my thoughts on Devonte Adams but this week it might be something you want to write your mom about because I think Adams could have a humongous performance jacobe Myers is a guy that I do like very talented player thought so ever since he was on the New England Patriots though with the quarterback situation not being the best in game one Jacobian Myers is that bi-week fill in that injury fill in for you it's week one you don't need him Trey Tucker another guy where you barely knew her right fun player will have his games but ultimately you're never going to really start him unless you're in like a 32-man league now if I had to play one player on the Chargers this week it would be Joshua Palmer Joshua Palmer last season proved that he is the could be not that he is because I think lad makoni could be that he is very competent when Keenan Allen and Mike Williams were hurt Joshua Palmer had some solid showings now I think ultimately lad makaki will have his time in the Limelight but that might come a couple of weeks from now and not instantly in week one up against the Los Vegas Raiders so I would prer to sit all of them if I had to start one of them it would be Palmer and you want to know who you're definitely not starting though Quinton Johnston the man who plays Denver Broncos at Seattle Seahawks receiver with no hands at game number 12 here we got the Denver Broncos at the Seattle Seahawks for the Denver Broncos I'm a fan of bonck am I the biggest fan no am I the smallest fan no but I like him a decent amount I think he's a talented player but when you all things considered right when you really try to consider everything that's going on with the Denver Broncos you have cland Sutton who is the best receiver on this team and then you have Mims you have Reynolds you have some other wide receivers like Troy Franklin right but none of those guys really jump off the table to me up against the Seattle Seahawks defense I think wither spoon could easily lock down courand Sutton in this game and with it being B Knick's start and with the wide receiver core in Denver being suspect outside of courland Sutton I think you should just turn the other cheek away from these guys this week so Sutton Mims Reynolds Franklin keep them on your bench if one of them is gonna have the big game though it would be sudden I know Nicks look great in preseason but if you take preseason as the most serious thing ever you probably come to the conclusion that guys like Kenny picket are really good when they're really not DK Mecha for the Seahawks this a tough match up for him because just like how we're to see courtand Sutton 1 V one on rust with Witherspoon we're going to see a 1V one on nuke town with DK meaf versus Court versus Patrick ctan son of Patrick certan to finish as a low-end wide receiver two highend wide receiver three should be fine though for him due to the volume that he should receive I'm not really excited about meaf here but again with enough volume out of Gino Smith in this new look offense thata should be fine if he scores a touchdown could finish as a high-end wide receiver too jsn is one of those lower and bottom of the barrel starts right you're you're Scavenging through the bottom of the barrel so you start jsn he has gotten so much hype in Camp the coaches love him the head coach the offensive coordinator basically love him right and that's great and they love the asset that'll be to the team but until I see the big role like we thought he'd potentially have last season because lockett's there it's still pretty risky in my opinion so out of all of the names in today's video that were listed as a start and that you are going to see listed as a start he was actually the last man in he was the last guy to crack the rankings Tyler Lockett in my pocket skirt he's been banged up I like like like lockett's always going to get like eight points every single game but that's not going to do anything for you so while I do like locket it would take an injury in front of him knock on wood we don't root for injuries for him to be fantasy relevant in 2024 next up we move to the Dallas Cowboys at Cleveland Browns Dallas Cowboys at the Cleveland Browns also and maybe if if team just lied right they don't use jsn and they just use lock at a bunch that would also be the way lock it gets relevant but Dallas Cowboys at the Cleveland Browns a matchup of two teams with really good defenses CD lamb has been on a quote unquote pitch count according to Mike McCarthy in practice but I expect him to get his normal workload come Sunday one of the best if not the best receivers in the league doesn't matter the defensive matchup you're going to play him and rank him inside of the top five Brandon Cooks has been banged up he should be good to go I'm not really excited to start Brandon Cooks though here Jaylen Tolbert there talks about him maybe becoming the number two receiver which makes me even less high on Brandon Cooks when it comes to Amari Cooper this is a rough matchup for him but Cooper is good enough to be a start every single week due to the suspect weapons around him like Jerry Judy who never quite lived up to being a Denver Bronco and based upon the pick he was out of Alabama was definitely in my opinion a bust he's been playing in the NFL for long enough for me to dub him as that now could he turn things around we've seen players do that all the time right they're not great they switch teams and then they look good shout out Gino Smith even though goino Smith traveled the whole world before he found a actual solid landing spot where he could play good but Cooper is going to be the guy he could end up with 10 plus Targets in this spot now Watson could absolutely ruin Cooper's day but I still feel like Cooper is going to be good enough in a Revenge game up against the Dallas Cowboys to be top 24 and we know Cooper has crazy upside because we saw it last season with Cool Joe flacko Jerry Judy like we discussed maybe this is the time for him to shine right maybe Denver just wasn't the spot but frankly courland Sutton beating him out doesn't really Bode the best for saying that Jerry Judy's this incredible Talent they've got Elijah MOA Jets retread uh you're sit in both of those guys if you guys they've got guys like dami brown and uh Christian McCaffrey's brother Luke mcaffrey but there's really no one that's like a clear number two weapon there so we're going to see a lot of Terry mclen with it being Jaden Stormy Daniels first start I won't bang my chest scream to the mountain tops that Terry's bus start but he should be a solid wide receiver three to flex on the week dami Brown flashed in preseason but again you can't take preseason super seriously if he does end up being the number two though and Jaden Daniels looks good then he could be valuable same thing could be the case with Luke mcaffrey for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers the commander defense is straight up ass like Lana rhods and I will be labeling Mike Evans as a must start this week as he'll be ranked inside of my top 10 he could easily rip off 20 plus points in this game we all know how good Mike Evans is and up against a matchup like the commanders that could obviously do wonders Chris Godwin was a guy that I talked about a bunch this off season one of the main points with Godwin was that we are going to see Godwin maneuver a lot more into the slot last season for some reason Dave Canalis just said you Chris Godwin we're not going to use you in the slot like you know the team has been doing for the whole time he's been there he's in the slot around 70 70% of the time last year was in the slot less than 30% of the time so obviously that change ended up decreasing the value of Chris Godwin in fantasy football but now he's going to get a lot more easier targets and up against a shitty Commander defense I definitely think that Godwin is a safe wide receiver three to flex option Jaylen McMillan there's been a lot of talk about him and maybe him potentially surpassing Chris Godwin so that's something to note deeper leagues you might want to pick him up but right now you're not going to play him in week number one next up we got the cuz you (SNF) Los Angeles Rams at Detroit Lions waited all day for Sunday night the Los Angeles Rams at the D trit Lions pukaa was a first round pick sometimes in the second round because of his knee injury but the knee injury is not going to be an issue and he's good to go GTG in week number one so he's going to be a top 12 wide receiver there has been a lot of hype about Cooper cup and I am one of the hype commanders now I was all over Cooper cup pause before the mainstream was I was talking about how Cooper cup just because he had that injury entering into last season really inhibited his upside and his play he St a bunch of great games but ultimately he wasn't the best but this year I thought he was going to look a lot better and then every report out of Camp is he looks like his old self so I like Cooper cup a ton as a wide receiver to high-end pick here due to this matchup potentially being very high scoring puka Cooper cup they're going in your lineup you don't even think twice about it Aman R st Brown you drafted him as a top five top six wide receiver he was my wide receiver three in my fantasy football rankings on the season the Rams defense definitely is not a pushover but am man ra St Brown could go for 125 plus yards and a tug in this game with eight or nine receptions potentially Aman Ross Brown is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL Aman Ross Brown's going to be a start against any defense he was one of the safest wide receivers last year as I believe he ranked inside of the top 30 at the wide receiver position every single week except for like two or three and that insane consistency will continue this season with the gator feeding him the ball Jameson Williams is a fun player he's a fun guy where you're on your by we your team's on buy or a bunch of your players are hurt you play Jameson Williams and he could score you 20 points right he could have those huge games but he's yet to really have any consistency I think he will be a little bit more consistent this season but that is yet to be seen khif Raymond of the Detroit Lion should be their number three but even up against the Rams and what could be a high-scoring game you don't want to be starting the number three in Detroit considering they have gives Monty leaport as well Demarcus Robinson could be their number three receiver for the Rams the Rams actually do use three wide receiver sets at a very high rate they're probably finished inside the top three and they're number one last year in terms of three wide receiver sets so we're to a decent amount of DeMarcus Robin S but we're not (MNF) New York Jets at San Francisco 49ers going to start him here final game here Monday Night Football the New York jumbo Jets at the San Francisco 49ers the 49ers defense is going to be solid but you didn't draft GW Garrett Wilson to sit him I think Rogers is going to Pepper Mr Wilson with Targets in this game and he should end up with a top 10 showing even though the matchup isn't the best Magic Mike Williams coming off of the injury should be good to go in this game he was one of my favorite sleep ER picks all summer long good to go in week one he's a fun play in DFS but in terms of week number one coming off the injury up against the 49ers defense I think you'd rather just wait and see what happens plus you didn't draft him in a Range where you would need to start him in week one Malachi Corley should be the number three rookie wide receiver interesting player but again up against the 49ers with Mike Williams now healthy you don't need that for the 49ers I like auk better than Debo in terms of ranking them for the season but up against a solid Jets defense I think the wacky things that Debo's able to do game in and game out will make him better off in this game and will get him more involved even with all of that said he is a middle of the road wide receiver too Brandon auk just showing up to team practices recently plus the matchup up against DJ Reed or S Gardner not being the most ideal leaves auk in that same range as Debo just ranked below him Jan Jennings should be the number three at Ricky persal got shot but he's still breathing the was lifting weights today what a beast got shot three days ago four days ago something like that and is back already now I don't think he's going to play for a while but uh shout out to him not congratulations because no one's like oh you got shot congratulations but I'm happy that he's alive and that was just a crazy crazy situation so Joan Jennings will be the number three operating for now until Ricky is able to come back
