when I heard about the sweat test I was really excited because just the more information and data you have as an athlete the more prepared you're able to be hydration is always something I've cared a lot about as a professional it's you know those little adjustments in your day-to-day behavior that can make the difference so I think for different players uh this information is more valuable than others and that may be because of their past circumstances and their past experience so for Maggie specifically it's something that she has been already spending a significant amount of time addressing in her own individualized strategies and so for us as a club it was really important for us to have good objective numbers so that we can also share with her whether those strategies are impactful for her specific physiological situation and whether or not we can help enhance that any further seeing just the percent of just water weight I lost versus the amount of sodium I lost too after looking at the data talking with our um dietitian figur out how I can better Implement um some in trining behaviors to make sure I'm not losing as much hydration throughout the session and not leaving the session depleted and then not being fully refueled coming in the next day I love having information and having this data everyone at this level is so good it's not necessarily the on the- field behaviors that are going to separate the good from the great but these little habits that you can build will make such a big difference in the long term
