e [Music] hey there folks Adam here going live um pretty busy day so far we've had a tornado in Niagara and then we had another tornado reported down by is IT rondu Park r o n d eaau Park this is uh basically Southwest of St Thomas let me jump over to Radar really quick here um yeah it's been a pretty busy day we notified the storm that hit Niagara um storm risk had a 3% tornado risk on it I didn't mention tornado risk in it but I did say um it had potential for damaging winds that type of thing unfortunately there was no Watches or Warnings or statements or advisories or anything um I'm just grateful I was able to get that polygon out before that tornado touchdown in um Niagara um I'll show you the area it did but this is the storm we're currently concerned concerned with um and uh this is a this is an interesting day I had a feeling this was going to be kind of a sleeper day where it didn't really look like it was that strong but actually it ended up becoming stronger than we thought um this may have turned into a water spot at this point in time but we did have a report um in uh Ron Rondo Park rondu Rondo um basically right down uh right here rondu Provincial Park area uh we had a report of a roof torn off a barn so um and I think they uh waiting here confirmation but I believe they said it was a tornado um so it's interesting cuz the velocity to day the reason I didn't mention tornado on the Niagara storm is um velocity didn't look that great like it looked okay but it didn't look amazing um it didn't look like there was strong rotation in it uh but we did put uh we did post this severe thunderstorm potential over that storm before it uh ended up touching down near Stevensville and eventually uh TR it through the Fort Erie area and now it's gone through uh the Buffalo area uh as well too and I don't even think there was a tornado warning on the Buffalo side so it's been a wild morning so far folks we hope everybody stayed safe it looks like we did have a tornado I mean I've seen video of it it's a tornado uh going through Stevensville uh through the fort area area and and through uh and then lots of damage in this path right here um Dr s said it might have been multiple tornadoes is hard to say right now oh Rondo okay yeah so it's Rondo uh areas we're concerned with right now but anyway so thankfully uh we put out severe thunderstorm potential I did that this morning on my phone um and then eventually we also put out uh this polygon which was you can't see it here because the mesos scale discussions on top of it but this says tornado reported and we thought it had already passed into the Buffalo area but then we had a report that was actually right on the border of Fort Er and buffalo so we put out an extra polygon there saying tornado reported um but yeah holy so that's the start of the day now we' got these storms moving in from the West Bren is just posting the forecast right now um we've gone a moderate R so uh we went uh or what we what do we call we call it slight um yeah so we went yellow basically and uh we're concerned about this storm that went through Rond Rondo Park and heading uh tracking to the north east um it did show some rotation so I went minor rotation on it and and now we have a report of uh we have a report of a roof torn off a barn so these really really weak rotation signatures here surprising L uh putting and you can see this here as well too this this couplet but it's over water here um and now this is a bit concerning so I'm pretty concerned with normally where I'd be like maybe we'll go minor rotation maybe we won't um today is turning into one of those days where every little hint of minor rotation unfortunately seems to be uh producing today so that's only two so far um only two so yeah we're bit concerned with these storms we have storms moving through petroia um um down here as well too we actually have some strong winds right here there's a severe thunderstorm warning on it uh 78 km an hour um yeah so it's turning into one of those days folks unfortunately where we are uh we are having concerns with these storms so uh yeah let's see here Sharon said my son saw over our garage Buffalo did not have any tornado warnings I'm surprised because there was yeah there was just a lot posted everybody was posting about it so I'm surprised they didn't uh they didn't put a torado warning down on that but oh boy let's see here but yeah so um Mark says are there more storms expected to develop later this afternoon and evening no definitely more storms expected to develop so I think it's going to be a long one today Natasha says why no tornado warning you're going to have to talk to environment Canada about that you're going to have to talk to the National Weather surface about that um let's see here um I my fiance messaged me from work in Dresden think we saw Micro Burst we had sheets of rain in walsburg thank you very much appreciate it yeah so uh still concerned with this line um I would be uh I would be on high alert with any storms today because we're we're seeing uh spin-ups where uh they shouldn't be so that's one of those days it's already the fact that we've already had we've had a report of barn roof torn off here we've had a report of multiple potentially multiple tornadoes from uh Stevensville down through Fort Erie today as well so we've already had that much action this early uh in the day so uh we are watching very very closely it looks like today is certainly overproducing uh Tammy said no tornado warning here in Ridgetown until after rondue um yeah so there there there has been no tornado warnings today there have been at least at least one confirmed tornado I mean the video is I've seen what is the three or four videos showing this tornado and there's video from of it going through Buffalo as well too um so that was very very very clear very very clearly a tornado on the ground um and of course we have significant damage to back up that report um but then this may have been a tornado may have been a micro Bush it's hard to say for sure I haven't seen any photos uh from Rondo Park of of a of a tornado but there was some minor rotation there and we sent out uh we sent out this polygon here um eventually we sent out this tornado reported polygon as you can see underneath that polygon is a minor rotation detected so so we've notified both uh of the dangerous storms we've seen today um hopefully you receive those notifications if you're in that area if you did not receive those notifications um then you may want to download our free app you can get it at instant weather app.com it is free and uh then you'll get notifications like we sent out today of severe thunderstorm potential um before that uh before that storm uh produced a tornado in uh in the niagar region so um those are a good heads up to have so we tried our best to get the word out on that hopefully uh let me know in the comments if you receive that notification if you're in that area let's see here suspicious St says the app is so good thanks sus appreciate it uh Dalton says thanks as always Adam thank you Dalton Dalton actually uh let me know about the Ry Park I was working on the minor rotation detected as he told me that there's a report of damage so if you are using uh instant Weather Pro you'll notice this polygon just got a lot thicker and uh when they get thicker that's uh a good indication of they're getting more severe um right now 2% tornado risk on this one 29% uh severe wind risk as well um for instant Weather Pro here uh if you would like to subscribe to instant Weather Pro you can do so at instant weatherpro Doom I'll put that at the bottom of the screen there but yeah so um yeah is pretty intense stuff going on right now um this storm is certainly a concern I really don't like what I'm seeing here down by Port Glasgow I'm hoping this is this is noise please be noise because this is34 135 134 135 139 km hour wind Gus um that could be a big problem if that's if that's not noise then it's also right here in this weird kind of a reverse hook going on here uhuh let me go over to correlation coefficient and I just want to see if there's anything right where this is oh there is a bit of a drop there's a bit of a CC drop there and there was certainly a drop down here by cille hopefully everybody's okay in those areas that's not great um Shantel says I'm about to head out my wave runner in Sarnia is it safe to do so I'm going to go ahead and say today is not a great day to do that um we are expecting there is some storm action in the sty area you might want to let it clear out but I know um some of the model data has talked about more development potentially um I would let those storms clear out right now I see that uh Patricia thank you very much yeah I I he he dm' me those damage reports so I saw them initially and that's why I put tornado reported over this one I don't like the CC dropper here right in this couplet area is a is a drop a drop means that there could be potentially damage being picked up by radar let's go back down by Rondo Park where is it here right there let's see what we see from earlier let me just go back a few frames hard to tell right about I wonder if it may have been a Micro Burst it's hard to say it's possible but uh this kind of stuff is starting to concern me today anything I see strong is concerning me I don't like what I'm seeing up here near Newbery let me go back to reflectivity I don't like this either a little bit of minor rotation today is making me nervous normally it does not but today is one of those days where we've already had potentially two tornadoes TouchDown for sure one tornado touchdown for sure that is clear as day um I see a couple of super chats thank you very much give me a second here I'm going to put minor rotation on this Newbury storm um just cuz anything I see right now I don't like the look of so uh some minor rotation right near Newbury um near wardsville I'm going to go put a polygon on that right now give me one second here and uh let me just clear that where is Newbury here let me find you where did you go new is northeast of tville okay so I see see that here there we are okay near Bothwell yeah there we go Newbury okay so that is right oh near wardsville and Newbury I'm just doing this in the background here give me a second and which way is it going I think it's going to the to the Northeast yeah okay I'm going to go minor rotation for nury area wardsville like a look at that I know it's just some minor rotation normally most days it be like me on that little blip but I don't like anything today to mination storm near near Newbury tracking to the Northeast the timing here is 147 okay sending that out now it'll be 148 actually okay sending it out right now 492 folks in the path of that one oh boy glitch life says make sure to check up on Alberta oh yeah we're live streaming Alberta later for sure tornado risk and Alberta today so we'll be watching that closely mhm okay so we're keeping an eye on that little blip which we don't like we're not or keeping on this right here which could be a water SPO potentially uh this little pocket of rotation that's been continuing for a while uh maybe water spout looks like it's trying to push out over the water so that might be okay I don't like what I'm seeing here uh near Newbury you can see my new polygon which I just put out there minor rotation detected still seeing a a little bit of it there yeah it still seems to be hanging on in that little spot um this is kind of coming towards Shore right here here towards eagle and maybe wallst town this is one of those days we have to we have to pixel peep as the photographers call it uh Miranda says the lake is very very choppy and snia so don't go on your seidu so that's what she's suggesting she's from sardia Katherine says thank you that nury storm is right near my house now very black coming in with a lot of thunder and lightning thank you very much appreciate it oh boy king of something says should I reschedule my outdoor activities today probably I rescheduled mine I was going to for the first time ever play tennis with my dad but that was like later tonight but I'm like I think I'm going to be busy I've never played this before but he's pretty good at it so let's see [Music] here right just looking through your comments here let me just uh get rid of some of these windows so many windows and Mees scale discussions had seen uh Supercell supercell of uh four today and right now there's a vtp of two over Niagara but there's no storms there thankfully but uh vtp of one over these storms we're talking about right now that are right along the Lake Erie Shoreline the vtp is the violent tornado parameter and when it starts to get one or higher things are not great actually I think it was only a 0. five when we had a touchdown earlier in Niagara today so all depends on the circumstances but these storms are looking feisty today oh boy yeah this is definitely one of those sleeper days where they're they're acting a lot stronger than than expected um we were thinking maybe marginal today maybe you know our lowest risk but uh uh Bren and I had a chat and we end up going up to a slight risk up to a yellow because uh I'm like I think pretty sure today is over performing quite a bit quite a bit let's see here yeah you can see this strong winds a loft on the Newbery Storm from the Detroit radar and we've got minor rotation detected on that one we've got a tornado reported on this particular storm and maybe over the water now it's hard to tell for sure or watching from the exitor radar uh this could easily come on to come on to shore around Port Stanley St Thomas excuse me um I think I'm going to extend that polygon because it's almost there and it's moving pretty quick yeah it's moving pretty quick right to the St Thomas area so I'm going to go minor rotation on that one right now too let's go ahead and do that so I want to make sure the folks in St Thomas know what's up up with that storm line um go something like this you can't see it but in the background I'm creating a polygon you can see me moving around here but I'm on a different window right now um I'm going to go minor rotation detected on that line almost want to do a blanket polygon right now just with what's happening my rotation on the storm over Lake Erie like Eerie that has potentially produced a tornado earlier along the shoreline um based on a damage report it is tracking to the Northeast and the timing here is 152 okay 2600 people in my polygon perfect okay um oh it's 153 now okay 153 and I'm going to send that out right now to all those in St Thomas and surrounding areas um for those wondering in London is this coming up your way potentially it's very possible I'm using my standing desk right now by the way it's nice yeah the Stevensville tornado is a while ago is it coming back no there's some polygons there I need to get rid of um there could be some more storms moving in anager later the environment there is still quite strong but right now there's nothing there um Barbara says report that power is out in Rondo Park that would make sense that would make sense um based on the damage reports so oh boy oh boy rib dude says so what's going to hit Elmer just past St Thomas I don't know but I would be preparing right now because these storms are pretty nuts hi Victoria she's asking about uh Huntsville area I'll go up and double check I know there's some more storms there will be lots of storms developing today in a bunch of different areas oh yeah still gonan one's interesting interesting storm in Algonquin with some 8% severe risk 4% wind kind of don't like the look of that one either thanks for the heads up on that Victoria I don't like the look at this this has some really strong winds in it see which way it's going it's going to the East and Brandon we probably should have done we probably should have extended the marginal like a blanket because everything seems to be over performing today yeah I don't like look at that that could be a little bit of a Down burst going through uh Alon park right now I'm going to go um yeah I don't like the look at that okay see what it looks like from here yeah I don't like it um okay then let me just quickly look at the environment uh nothing much up there for supercell nothing for vtp nothing for nonstop um any stretching let's see here oh there's a little bit of stretching up there okay I think I'm going to go uh damaging win potential on that one and then yeah damaging win potential on that one heading towards Barry's Bay again thanks for the heads up on that one um all right another polygon okay let me just send this polygon really quick down towards Barry's Bay that storm let me just see exactly which way it's [Music] going it's really tracking to the south at least the strongest part of it is see here something like that heading right towards Barry's Bay Manu area maybe boft all right I'm going send a big polygon over there and this polygon is going to say damaging winds and and minor rotation have ATT on the storm near alanin Park cracking to Dam wind gust some minor rotation have been detected on the Stone near bar tracking to the South East potentially towards Barry's Bay and I say bankr actually CU it's really heading Southeast do bankr Etc say an isol tornado cannot be ruled out out with the storm and the timing here is going to be 157 sending no thanks again for that heads up on that storm appreciate it Community effort here very helpful um put that over there for now any storms for aotta later says chicken nugget is possible this whole cluster might head that way so it's not entirely out of the question yeah it's gone up to a 2% tornado risk now in that storm um see what it does as it continues to track I don't like these high wind values either so we'll see what it does excuse me if you don't have a free app please download it you can get it at instant weather app.com or just search for instant weather on the app store or the Google Play Store still concerned with this storm here that is over Lake Erie um this whole storm heading up towards St Thomas Port Stanley area we did have a possible trainer Report with it earlier as we have power outages and a roof ripped off a barn down by Rondo Park you're welcome King it's all good Zach says it's Wallsburg in Southern Ontario safe for the rest of the day I don't know I can't tell you I don't know if there's any more Development coming that can take a peak it is possible but it may be past it now but holy I hope everybody in Fort Erie and Stevensville uh from earlier is okay I hope everybody in Rondo Park is okay from earlier um we notifi both of those storms thankfully uh I got to get rid of this polygon now we still have the um severe all right we still have a um oh they've issued severe thunderstorm watch now or is that on the US side or is this a severe thunderstorm oh Squall warning for the water I see okay um yeah I'm going to get rid of those two polygons now cuz those storms are gone from Niagara at this point in time but uh who uh definitely definitely definitely tornado earlier uh that went through um Stevensville right here where we put our polygon on Stevensville through Fort Erie and then into Buffalo uh many many many videos of that one that was definitely a tornado I'm just grateful we got a polygon on it before it touched down oh boy let's see here and what time do we get the polygon out at 11:37 a.m. we got the polygon out at so I don't think there was videos earlier than that showing the tornado I think it was only after that was about it was about noon so that might have been a 20- minute heads up that there's severe thunderstorm potential with that storm um so grateful we got that out I'm going to pull that polygon now and I'm going to pull the polygon from uh afternoon that uh of the tornado reported as it went through oh boy okay I'm going to get rid of both of those polygons there um obviously we have more storms moving in so there could still be some risks in aggro later today I really don't like the look of this I don't like what's going on here I'm not a fan multiple tilts of what normally traditionally would be considered weak rotation although there's some really high values here this is 92.6 72 um hope hopefully it's noise but it could maybe not be noise and then there's something going on down here as well too near uh kenin c i Nan area there's these little pockets of rotation today that normally I wouldn't be as concerned with but currently I'm not not a big fan of what I'm seeing here did our polygon merging actually work for the custom polygons what are these two polygons are merged Ed no way cuz they're both minor rotation detected cool I didn't even realize who did that we just added the uh polygon merging so you notice instead of it being every little tiny County polygon now it's one giant outline which is so much nicer to look at um but I didn't realize we were merging our custom polygons hey that's fancy that's some fancy stuff there good job Dev team I'm okay with that that's fine by me let's see here that's pretty cool oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy Goose says is this real a YouTuber that covers Canadian severe weather yeah I've been around since 20 uh we've been live streaming since 2015 maybe not on YouTube most of we were live streaming on on Facebook but we've been live streaming uh pretty much longer severe weather longer than I think anybody including the US I'm not sure for sure I know Ryan Hall started in about 2020 or so 2018 or 2020 something like that um yeah we've been at it for a while here so welcome welcome to the fold okay what's going on up here in Alberta you can see again this is a good example of the uh merged polygons as you can see they're all merged so the whole severe thunderstorm watch is just one nice outline which is way nicer cuz then it's much easier to see the warnings inside of it so kudos to the dev team to get in that getting that out which is great and surprisingly our custom polygons are merged as well I didn't even realize fancy so fancy okay let's see here uh democat says I'm scared in St Thomas don't be scared just uh just be prepared to take shelter with the storm it you know overall chances are it's not going to produce tornado but you never know what could happen I don't like the look of this these really strong winds over the water and there is some uh some minor rotation going on here and that's why we've got the minor rotation polygons in place uh only a 2% tornado risk mind you uh clear as day tornado that happened in um Stevensville and uh and Fort Erie area and that was the tornado risk I looked at it when I did the polygon it was only to 3% um and so even a 3% can uh two and 3% can produce it seems has to be the right day with the right the right situations and says Adam's motto don't be scared be prepared for sure I've been saying that since again I don't know it's been a long time I hear Ryan say it as well too I'm glad everybody should be saying that that's a good line so um don't be don't be scared be prepared it's a lot worse if you aren't paying attention to these storms at all and then something happens that's much much worse that is uh a much worse situation but if you know they're happening then it's like hey they're happening I know they're coming I'm going to be prepared I'm going to you know get ready it's if you want to scrambling to take shelter is way more stressful than already being prepared you're like okay um chances are we should uh start preparing to take shelter especially if you're in the path of this one right here Fort Stanley area I would be taking shelter with the storm um it is under severe thunderstorm warning from Environment Canada um one second here just a moment okay um Mike with the super chat again thank you so much any need for heads up and guf today maybe maybe uh Jess says saw a possible tornado touchdown in Rondo Rondo park at 1:31 p.m. that would line up pretty much to the damage report we had so thank you very much Jess um if you do have any uh photos or videos from that if you could send them over to us so would be appreciated I see her on Facebook if you could post that to um if you could post it to Ontario storm reports that would be very very helpful just search for Ontario storm reports um Sierra says tornado Cowboys reported to tornado near Rodney Arena when was that Sierra Rodney Arena I really don't like the look of this especially with what's happening today are we getting an update soon 2: p.m. we should be getting one in about a minute what do we at here 4% tornado risk now in the storm this is definitely increasing I really don't like the look of it second here oh boy I don't like this on the latest update right here we got rotation right over the 401 um south of southwest of Dutton Dunwich and south of Campbellton I really don't like the look of that that's really strengthened in the last frame and it's on tilt two and it's on tilt three and it's on tilt four okay I'm going to go ahead and do a train of potential polygon on that one cuz I don't like the look of it and today's been bananas so tornado potential polygon incoming right now on that storm okay that is not great and let me just see exactly where it is it is just uh just west of wallst town let me just make sure exactly which direction it's going it's right across the 400 401 right now which is not great and it's on multiple tilts um let me just see here okay so it's near is it near West Lauren yeah it's just north of West Lauren okay let me just do from West Lauren up and let's do something like this say I don't know which way exactly it's going it could move to the Northeast it's trying to go East but it could head up towards maybe St Thomas Fort Stanley I'm going to definitely put in this polygon I want to include St Thomas because it could move D East I'm not going to include St Thomas yet but I'm going to be watching it closely I'm just going to go just outside of St Thomas tornado potential on this storm uh just north of West what is it West Lauren West Lauren or just Southwest of Dutton dwit I'll say West Lauren just north of West Lauren tracking to the east Northeast the time here is [Music] 209 actually it's going to be 210 right now okay 2:10 p.m. and sent okay I've gone T potential on that one it seems to be increasing on machine learning we've got a stronger meso now and I mean this meso itself looks stronger than anything we've had today and we've potentially had two tornadoes touchdown so boy oh boy um what's going on right here near Port Stanley I didn't even notice that earlier there's a little bit of rotation on the edge of that storm what's on tilt 2 no it's Messier on tilt 2 hopefully that's nothing but there's a little something going on here right up by Union Jesse screaming Strathroy Ontario is there something to report from Strathroy or you just asking about it Strathroy is in the path of one of these storms but it doesn't look as particularly strong right now I really don't like the look of this this is what I just put that polygon on so you can see our tornado potential polygon right here on this storm tracking to the uh East Northeast maybe up towards uh Dutton Dunwich Wallace Town Port Talbot Iona Iona station fingle area maybe Port Stanley don't like to look that one especially with what's happening today not a big fan of what I'm seeing there and uh uh Elliott says there's a big storm in Peterboro right now looks like a little bit of a rain shower in Peterboro not a big storm just a little just a little shower nothing too concerning yet there but we'll keep an eye on it thank you Elliot appreciate it [Music] um still interesting on what's happening in Al gonin yeah I don't like the look of it from Brit some really high values there but it looks kind of messy on reflectivity H interesting Mary says two tornadoes of touchdown that's what it seems like I mean for sure one that happened down here um 100% for sure uh where is it it was down Stevensville went through Fort area and then into Buffalo 100% for sure I've seen four videos of it and there's significant Barn damage Dage and structural damage and tree damage so that's for sure tornado touchdown in Niagara today and then we had a report of a possible tornado in uh Rondo Park and we've had multiple we had a report of barn roof ripped off and then we've had uh a couple folks now say that uh that they saw a tornado on that one polygon here it's it's a bit messy uh thank you Brennan for putting up the uh putting up the onario storm reports in the background here so I can keep an eye on it let's see here um Mila I don't know if you can hear me oh you are on the okay so you can hear me um maybe maybe the hail risk can justify strong potentially but I think I think one or two for tornado is fine hail risk I have up to 4 cimeter and that's the only thing that's the highest I'm seeing to go higher than that I think is a little much I'm just thinking we could do it's too bad we've I don't know where we've created these rules of Ty uh Ty risk level to exact things I think we should just do we should do a strong Bullseye I think a strong Bullseye would be good um just to show exactly where the tornado potential is for Alberta and all these rules I don't know Bren is creating rules oh please be good oh St Thomas uh photos from St Thomas now for Marina um yeah I don't know I still think we should do a strong Bullseye in Alberta just a small one we're up to 7% tornado risk now on this storm here that is in uh Southwestern Ontario going through the Port Stanley area it just jumped up to seven from three it went it went three four and then down to three and now it's up to 7% on this one so continuing to see strengthening um on this storm not a big fan of it here and uh heading into the Port Stanley areas and maybe into the St Thomas areas as well too well we could we could dial down strong so it hit 4 cimet hail we could slightly make an adjustment on that it's not set in stone right um let's see here what's the criteria for flooding to get up to strong I guess it would have to be like 200 mm I don't know I just feel like I just feel like a slight risk there is underplaying it a little bit I don't know why our criteria doesn't justify that but I'm not saying a huge strong I'm just saying a bullseye around where the strongest tornado riskus sorry folks we're having internal discussions in the background except I'm putting them right on stream um oh wow there's some damage from uh Rondo Park you can see beside my head right here Rondo Park damage uh that's a big tree down I don't see any damage around it so it looks isolated normally if it was like a down burst or Micro Burst you'd see a lot more you'd see a lot more damage that's a very isolated damage report I'm wondering if that was potentially uh yeah I'm wondering if that was potentially a uh a tornado as well we did somebody said they saw a tornado though they said it right on our stream earlier so oh boy you don't we don't think we could see golf ball size hail I thought you said 4 cm on Brennan's chart it says Max halil size golf ball for strong level three to five C is an inch if I remember correctly no what hold on 2.5 2.5 cim is an inch yeah um and so golf ball definitely is smaller than is golf ball smaller than 4 cm is it 2 in a golf ball no way well I would say one and a half to two let's see here how large is a golf ball 1.68 in so that means it's 1.68 in in cm so it's 4.2 CM so let's maybe go to strong and then 4.2 is still rounded down to four for hail you can still say I I just really want to go I want to go at least the uphols I have strong if you can pretty pretty please Alberta I think that's a good idea today far away down stable says golf balls 4.25 CM so just under two inches I think we could at least see 4 cmet hail in Alberta today but I'm more concerned with the tornado risk really yeah if we could do if we could do a bulls that'd be good Dalton says confirmed the whole barn roof was gone in Rondo Park trees were bending over that's not great hopefully hopefully everybody stayed safe down there hopefully everybody stayed safe in uh Niagara area as well too in uh Stevensville and um let's see here Stevensville and uh Fort Erie today uh oh I don't like the look at this what is up to now 10% tornado risk on this Port Stanley storm we've gone up to 10 on machine learning here which is not great uh I'm not really liking these values from I know this is far away Cleveland's far away but I'm not liking the values there it had some really high win values on that last frame let me go back one one let's see here come back Cleveland if it's still loading I'll flip over exra for now actually let's take a look at at Buffalo for now see what Buffalo's showing mhm yeah machine learning 57% total severe risk on it 10% tornado risk on it 44% severe wind and uh sorry 50% total severe risk 44% severe wind risk 12% severe hail risk and that polygon just updated yeah about the same um have to extend my little polygon here let me see whoa what are these values here 82 and right near Port Bruce is rotation I don't like the look of this oh and I don't like the look of this little pockets of rotation on this storm 10% tornado risk on it I'm going to extend my little polygon of tornado potential it is inside of my minor rotation detected but I think I'm going to extend my tornado potential polygon on this one yep I don't like the look of it don't like the look of it and the fact that we've already had uh damage reports from this cluster of storms a barn ripped off uh Dalton thank you for sharing the coordinates on that uh uh we shared that with the ntp appreciate that okay yeah I'm going to extend this uh I'm going to extend my train potential polygon into St Thomas now uh through Port Bruce with this storm yeah I'm going to extend that there okay potential on the storm moving in from Lake eie towards Fort Bruce uh one second here Fort Bruce St Thomas Etc St Thomas Etc moving Northeast East in from and the timing here is 222 okay 2500 people in the path of that one using our free app instant weather and they're getting notified right now if you have not downloaded our free app instant weather please head over to instant weather app.com and download it it's free let's see here I came and went in St Thomas no wind now and C says Timothy yeah the the main part of the storm isn't there yet though and Marina says it's windy in St Thomas luk says it's insane right now where are you located uh Michelle says watching a storm heading over towards Gran Ben I'll go take a look got to keep an eye on a few different places today um Gran Ben really moving towards gr Ben which way is the storm going no it's going to miss Gran B Ben and there's nothing to the West going to go take a look at our gonum park storm still looking pretty grumpy let's see here yeah really tracking to the southeast towards bankof towards Barry's Bay my polygon seems to be pretty good as long as this kiery storm sneaks into it I think I got the right direction there that's not bad really interesting wind values on the northeast side of this but those are really elevated let's go to Frank Town interesting Franktown does not look as strong which could be a good thing but we'll see but anyways yeah this this cluster of storms continuing to move to the southeast towards manth and bankra and Barry's Bay could be severe um let's go see what we're up to now Port Stanley down to a 7% TR risk but it's still I really don't like the look of this part of the storm and let's go take a look at Cleveland see if it woke up yet I don't my velocity is not coming [Music] up where is that report from West Lauren that's on that storm we're looking at and it vanag oh no it's still it West Lauren at 13 oh that was way earlier okay that was about an hour ago interesting um where I just saw an interesting report uh Marley says I wonder what St Thomas looks like in 3D I could do that I'm just uh just a touch busy at the moment Ashley says uh clouds and St Thomas are moving in all different directions that's not good all different directions are not good uh M rosic says looks like a hurricane RI through Fort era yeah it was definitely a tornado 100% tornado um um and it looked pretty grumpy uh roofs ripped off it did not look good F dark dragon says if only the squirrels and squirrel Depot had instant weather I know right they'd be so much safer game the north says was this the super cell that was in Minnesota that's a long ways away I'm sure it morphed and changed a lot before it got over here that's a long ways away okay sorry just looking through the comments here um oh you're in St Thomas as well okay yeah I don't like the look at this storm I don't know why Cleveland's taking a sweet time something's going on with velocity there but oh boy oh boy um Port Bruce probably wants to be taking shelter right about now if you haven't already I would say Port Bruce needs to be taking shelter I know we went tornado potential whoa tilt two tilt three tilt four but definitely tilt one and two and three whoa three tilt meso right now over Port Bruce this could be a big big problem for those who are in the port Bruce area and also um I'm going to grab a new polygon now now that I see that meso yeah I don't like the look of that at all what's going on with the storm back here okay I really don't like the look of that that is looking pretty nasty I'm going to go create another polygon and stretch that out to the Northeast there um let's see here what's going on from Cleveland come on Cleveland show us some velocity there we go Cleveland has some really strong winds up nor up high but exitor radar is right beside it and it's got a meso right here it's got a multiple tilt meso yeah this could be a problem right here this could be potentially producing a tornado near Port Bruce um and that is moving to the Northeast my tornado potential polygon goes all the way to about bayem but I'm going to make it go even further yeah coming in off the water really rotating coming in off the water you saw that strengthening winds right there and then there's the next frame it's kind of broad clouds are rotating in St Thomas or getting reports of su mokat let's see here [Music] um sorry Jo jod I'm talking when I mean far away I mean far away in comparison I mean this radar is much further away than exitor that's all that's all I meant was uh far away but uh yeah definitely strong rotation in the port Bruce area that is definitely strong rotation I'm going to go and make a new polygon that's what I do I make polygons okay um making a new polygon for that one okay and don't like the look of it I'm going to stretch that out a bit let me just make sure the direction that's going here um pretty much East do East right towards if you are in um Copenhagen grov Sand Lake View Calton bhem froggit Corners Vienna Port Burwell um of course Port Bruce if you're in that area it's heading towards the Northeast right now definitely seeing that that pocket of rotation you can see that right here oh boy okay um a new polygon a new polygon has been created okay I'm going to I don't know if it's going to go more East or not but I'm going to go ahead and um all the way over to Port do and up towards tilsonburg and down into this storm right here I really don't like the look of it I'm going to go can you just connect the polygon please are you kidding me did you just do that darn polygons okay there we go I got him all right okay is that maybe moving a little bit more to the Northwest and do something like that and that okay okay another tornado potential polygon um the storm near Port Bruce tracking to the east Northeast towards towards where um bam I'd say bam obviously areas in between as well too there's St Thomas photo thank you very much for that report um and the time here is 2:30 exactly train potential the storm near Port Bruce tracking to the east Northeast towards bam and I'm going to send that out right now okay so how long have we been live 54 minutes okay every hour I'm going to switch from being from standing up to sitting down so I've been standing up for 55 minutes which is fine actually I feel fine right now it's good I don't want to stand up for too long though it's good just keep switching it up everybody stretch it out let's go stretching it out okay so let's put that window back over there I love that Windows lets me like drag to the top of the screen and then put the window to the half half of the monitor I think Apple's adding that but they haven't yet at least maybe they haven't maybe I just don't have the new version oh boy okay well we just got an update on the polygon what is it saying 9% tornado RIS so it went back up because it went down and then went back up we should be getting a new radar frame soon it's already pulsing I seen my pulsing going on here oh boy if you want to follow along snapped tree in St Thomas says uh I'm just going to say a little music because I don't know Suk luk music a lot of rotation in St Thomas says Aaron thank you very much [Music] um this rotation may have weakened a bit that we saw coming off the water it looks like it's got a little bit more broad I don't like what I'm seeing on tilt 2 near Elmer but for some reason tilt one doesn't have anything so yeah it has been an interesting day so far um mm let's go back up and see what's going on from the Brit radar some new storm development up here east of Brit we still have this development here on these storms that are heading towards bankra and manth some severe potential with them maybe some wind damage and possibly and we did see some minor rotation earlier uh we're watching those closely you can see our big polygon here damaging winds Min rotation um these are the main storms we're watching right now which are down here in Southwestern Ontario I think it's just contrast boosted uh Lindsay I'd say approve it it just looks contrast boosted yeah I think all I think all he did is just boost the contrast just to bring that what looked like a funnel out there from Newbury I'd say go ahead and approve that looks a little odd but I prove it where is M getting too cold in here too cold all right those are the clouds in St Thomas right now that looks great Atlanta thank you very much for changing that I think that's probably pretty good I think so yeah I think that's great nice thank you very much sorry for getting you to change that right before you posted it but I think it's uh my intuition is correct I think um it's going to be pretty interesting in Alberta today um what am I looking at here whoa what is this what is this report oh Lake y okay uh Lal park Niagara Street behind Hutch Tech what does wtod mean again is Lal Park in Niagara for a sec I was like Lal I'm like oh is it Lal Park I'm thinking of uh downgrading this uh torado potential polygon here just cuz that did weaken Bron you might want to I would say um I just say rotation in Port Bruce right now like there could be some thunderstorms in Nova Scotia today too I don't know if we'll go live in Nova Scotia while we're at it while we're at it says I thought lell Park was in Burlington thank you very much Ally appreciate the hand work um Patrick says Lal Park north of St Catherine's of Niagara Street oh okay oh techie says Buffalo weather of the day says Smith maybe reminder to sit down says Trevor thank you Trevor appreciate it you're all so kind thinking of me J says what's the app uh which one the one I'm using right here or our free so we have two apps we have one that's free it's called instant weather you can get it for free at instant weather app.com this is called instant Weather Pro and this is what we used to track storms we built it for the northern tornadoes project out of Western University who we are official partners with and uh yeah and you can get it at instant weather pro.com it is not free it is a subscription it's 99 bucks of the year which is like 825 a month um but you can uh subscribe to it if you'd like to track this in real time using full resolution radar it's actually a website so it works on pretty much anything anything with decent speed and I'm very very proud of it we've been working super hard of it hard at it we got cool stuff like um IW storm risk which shows you the tornado percentage on every storm it just updated yeah still 8% tornado risk on that storm and um yeah I think it's great if you have instant Weather Pro let us know in the comments if you use it pretty pretty please let us know what you think Maryland says where's Rondo park it is down uh Southwest of St Thomas it's down here this is Rondo park right here Rondo Provincial Park and so we did have a significant damage report from there and on these storms that are tracking to the East and look which way they're going they're heading heading towards Niagara it seems not not like Niagara needs any more strong storms today um that is the latest radar frame I don't like the look of that cuz we did see some stuff on tilt 2 near Elmer yeah there's some rotation til 2 near Elmer tilt 2 is higher up in the storm and at tilt one closer to the surface we are seeing that rotation right there which which I don't like the look of so this whole storm system has been it's been quite a day what is that Port Stanley look how low that is to the ground you see that report right beside me right here you see how low hanging these clouds are they're so surface-based they're not way way up high where they have a harder time connecting to the surface this is very very surface-based storms very connected to the surface which is which means it doesn't take much for surface connection when it comes to a funnel cloud or something like that it doesn't have far to go to to touch a surface so H and then there's a video as well attached to that report but uh I think we're going to about to get another report probably soon as this refreshes yeah um Dark Skies from Linville thank you Sunny appreciate it by the way if you are on Facebook uh we have a group which is called oh Brennon says environment candidate has a tornado risk mentioned on their severe thunderstorm warning for these storms oh good to know thank you Bren I appreciate it um we have a group called Ontario storm reports so head over to that if you're on Facebook even if you're not on Facebook it might actually be like the reason you join Facebook seriously for a l people are like if you're on Instagram just realize Facebook owns it if you're on WhatsApp Facebook owns it they just don't at all but uh you might want to get on Facebook just for the fact of that particular reporting group because it is uh it is a very very special special place what is this brenon I'm going to check it out right now on my phone oh yeah that was just Brandon that was just like that was downtown Buffalo yeah that was just shown um that was just shown on on the side of the screen here somebody somebody had that video already it just popped up on on ter storm reports and we watched it and then it went away but yeah that was so that was a video of the of a the tornado going through downtown Buffalo and again there was no there's no tornado warning in Buffalo there was no tornado warning in lyy I don't know what's going on today folks one of those days one of those days unfortunately hopefully everybody stayed safe um I'm just grateful we were able to give a notification to uh Fort Erie and to Stevensville uh before the tornado touchdown we said severe thunderstorm potential didn't mention a tornado risk um our storm risk this storm risk said 3% tornado risk on that storm and I hummed and Hau and I was like M there was some vtp there was supercell in place I probably should have said a tornado cannot be ruled out that would have been a good idea um but anyways nonetheless uh that's the only polygon anybody there got that's the only notification anybody in Fort Erie got if you're from Fort Erie let me know if you got that notification Haley says a friend lives by Port Bruce Bru their patio furniture and kids outdoor playhouse blew across the yard brick came off trampoline that is not good that is not good mle says I use Pro and love to look at the hurricane Radars cool um Tree on neighbor's house in Elmer Okay so this might be a tornado or maybe a Micro Burst this is definitely this is definitely rotation right here in Elmer and are hearing of a tree on neighbor's house in Elmer I hope everybody staying safe this is not great we have a polygon over Elmer that says tornado potential in red there's nothing more we can do um only Environment Canada can legally issue tornado warnings and so that is up to them but uh yeah as you can see the 4% tornado risk on that storm which isn't nothing oh boy oh boy Shelly says I just read Rondo Park had tornado multiple down trees and a barn roof was taken off yeah yeah we uh we were talking about that earlier um it's not great not great wow the videos coming out of Buffalo are ridiculous oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy thanks Tim I appreciate it I don't know what's going on today it's uh it's one of those days I just hope everybody's staying safe we still have Alberta later today oh man okay all right it's in our polygon there's nothing more we can do but we got a big time rotation right here this is the storm that just went through Elmer had a report of a tree down on a house and this is a rotation couet right here near North Hall Richmond area we had rotation here it continues here til to it's a little bit supported up top really really strong values here 120 km an hour versus 36 this could be very strong rotation couplet right here I do not like the look of that um showing strong from King let's see what kbff looks like it's inside of my tornado potential polygon it's looking mighty strong from exitor which is the closest radar strong winds a loft from Cleveland yeah I really don't like the look of this um Kary has a severe thund storm watch yeah yeah it does storms are for this afternoon H tilsonburg is shelter time now Eden now North Hall now I really don't like the look of this it's moving to the Northeast North Hall for sure Eden it could head up towards tilsen tilsonburg courland May Mai's Corners Andy's Corners wol delhigh this area right here is not great uh we did have report of yeah it's actually a little bookend Vortex now that I see it's a bookend Vortex it's a tiny tiny little you can see it wrapping this way and it's got rotation right there this is a bookend Vortex heading right towards North Hall this could be producing a tornado I would be taking shelter immediately on that storm I'm going to do a new polygon on it even though my polygon pretty much covers it pretty good I don't care I'm doing a new polygon let people know that this is the area Focus now because I didn't mention it in the last one okay new polygon let's see [Music] here damage from the the storm uh Elmer heading to the east Northeast I do a new polygon um okay and I'm going to go red again and I'm going to say tornado potential um Che return potential in the storm near Elmer a y l m r tracking to the east Northeast we also have a damage report a damage report of a tree on a house from Almer a y l m r is that right a y l m e r yeah um and the time here is 246 and I'm sending it right now it actually is inside of my existing tornado potential polygon I just want to make sure folks know that that's the area of Focus right at this moment Elmer Elmer Elmer Hydro is flickering on and off in St Thomas that's probably from what's happening in Elmer right now it's close enough to uh to cause problems there I don't like this at all I don't like it oh boy is is there some polygons I can get rid of here let me see I've been so focused on what's going on all these old polygons are still still up okay let's do some polygon cleanup here shall we let's go through them one by one so um Marosa says the book and Vortex song comes to mind yeah this is a book and Vortex here and I don't like the look of this rotation and we had a damage report in um Elmer so there's that there's definitely a rotation couplet right here above my head sorry if I my head keeps getting in the way of the rotation I need to move me I'm too present no why' I go there I am okay hold on I need to I'm going to shrink me down a little bit how about that just two in the way let's see that better right about there good enough all right I'm smaller now wait a minute oh I forgot that I'm on Brennan's thing here so I have to move over about there okay all right so I don't like this rotation couet right here heading towards tilsonburg um I am not a fan of what I'm seeing there there was a storm merge actually I just noticed that now you see this little storm out front and it got absorbed by the main storm [Music] and did the polygon just merge it just merged my polygons that is great that is such cool technology I'm loving that merge and polygons cool okay I got to get rid of some of these polygons here so this one for sure the tornado reported down by Rondo Park needs to go when was that from let me just find the oldest time stamps here um minor rotation near rown at 128 that was one of them that can go and then we had um tornado reported Rondo Park yeah that one can go what else do we have here the rotation near Newbury can go okay and I'll leave that St Thomas one for now little storm popping up west of London nothing too exciting yet oh I do not disturb on I should change that because just case I get any notifications that are important Brennon says when a bug actually turns out to be a cool new feature well I knew that we were emerging um I knew that we're emerging Environment Canada polygons I didn't know we were merging our custom polygons but it makes sense the logic just says are there two polygons touching are they the same headline if so merge cool I'm down with it I think it's cool merge our polygons in real time hey storm that just popped up in Niagara where do you think you're going do you think you're going little storms look a lot stronger up top you can see them from far away they look way way stronger up High um I think there's still a lot of vtp in area let me go double check oh boy power outage for a second and St Thomas say jiling thank you very much let's see what's happening here uh there's still a supercell four there's still a vtp of one anybody uh um TC animate says do we see the NATO cast for day two that just came out I think Brennan was looking at it earlier I don't know if he saw the one that just came out was there a new one uh thank you for the report Lisa you can see this report up here uh this video here the Lindo area before delhigh that is hanging real low to the surface I don't like the look at that um hope hopefully these are just some rain showers uh in Niagara right now definitely uh if you look up higher they're definitely looking a little more potent up High um um is anybody in that area right now crazy and Burwell where's Burwell oh Port Burwell that's way over here okay um Bridget just T has showed a link of the Fort Erie Tornado from earlier thank you very much extreme says will you be doing cover tra Berto later today we will we certainly will Lee says it's dark here and black clouds in Stevensville yeah I mean it's more storms moving in but anything intense going on let me know we got all you we have you all in real time so let me know um Jackie says Stevensville raining hard again in very dark just want to keep an eye on Niagara because it is quite a little hot spot today of course as we had a tornado touchdown earlier in uh Stevensville and it tracked through Fort Erie and into Buffalo very clear as day tornado still seeing some we got an update here 6% Tor risk has started to increase again we have an update uh North Hall still seing some signs of rotation there let me go a little bit higher up in the radar H there's still something going on still concerned with that area I just love that my polygon has merged together I know it's like it's the most trivial thing but it's just like oh that's so cool merging polygons keeping an eye on nager right now Colin says any environment cand official warnings so there is a severe thunderstorm warning um and I believe it mentioned a tornado risk for the storms that are down by Lake Erie whoa look at that right here from Sherwood courland Ontario looking towards Glen Meer oh some low hanging wall clouds oh boy can you hit play on that that video I just want to see I'm dressed appropriately I'm ready those are some low hanging wall clouds and Courtland Ontario keeping a close eye on what's Happening Here in Niagara I know you've had a rough day just want to make sure everything's okay over there looks like these storms are increasing in intensity they're moving pretty slow hopefully nothing going on there I might want to send a polygon to them just to say severe thunderstorm potential again what are you talking about Siri she just what the heck she just made a phone call for me please Siri actually I shouldn't say her name because then she'll do something again that I don't want her to do okay um yeah still 6% tornado risk on this one keep me posted and what's going on there uh people in Niagara Nicole says why subscribe if you don't even get an answer subscribe to what and what answer what I don't know what you're asking also uh we can't uh oh my stream just activated your Siri on your phone says s oopsie um Nicole we can't answer every question we try our best but we can't answer them all so sometimes we get thousands of questions and answering them all is impossible so my apologies Nicole's question which ended up being in capital letters is what's the weather in Hamilton supposed to be are you in Hamilton right now like if you could let us know what's going on um you might see some severe storms later maybe maybe not it's hard to say for sure um if you have our free app you can check out the hourly product to see what the timing is of When Storms might be coming in and you can get our free app at instant weather app.com and then just check out when you might see some storms today um it's Poss possible that you could see severe storms but maybe not Christy says download the free app it's great K says any risk of tornado and Niagara again uh there's still somewhat of environment there that's why I'm asking you what's going on cuz I want to know what's up 1% tornado risk on that little cell now today's been a day in Niagara so I kind of want to these storms continue to build I'm going to I'm going to create a polygon proactively just proactively I'm going to create a polygon for niagar right now a severe thunderstorm potential just because we have new storms developing in the area at the moment go do that real quick Pro they're probably going to be nothing but is something could happen um okay let me see here I'm going to proactively create a little polygon for folks of Niagara and it's going to say same thing it said this morning uh severe thunderstorm potential carefully monitoring these storms storms developing over the over where let's see here over um I'll just say the Niagara region over the Niagara region slowly tracking to the east they may have potential produce strong or damaging wind gusts as they are strengthening on radar T rain small hail and frequent L possibility um as similar to this afternoon an isolated tornado cannot be entirely ruled out but we're watching very closely monitoring these storms very closely again two 59 date one date n okay I'm sending that notification to our friends in Southeastern Niagara uh let me just double check oo and it continues to increase in strength okay notifications going out now I like when people post a video of a tornado on the ground and it says strong likelihood that a tornado touched down how about how about these words it was definitely a tornado how about that let's just go with that I mean there's sometimes we like maybe it's a tornado maybe it's a downburst hard to say but when it's clearly a funnel cloud on the ground causing damage it's it's a tornado it's definitely a tornado okay I got to sit down at some point in time I'm on my standing desk it's time to go down close says allegedly a tornado touchdown no uh Stevensville for eie to Buffalo is a was a tornado no potential on that one uh Margo says what is the free app you can get it at instant WEA app.com so when I just notified folks in Niagara speaking of damage there's there's for Eerie damage for you right there so that is what the tornado did some of what the tornado de there's there's lots of reports of damage I really hope everybody's okay maro's asking what is the free app you can get it at instant WEA app.com or just go to the App Store and uh and type instant weather I'll put it up at the bottom here instant weather app.com if you use a free app let us know in the comments what you think let those who are not using it know what you think Georgia says train potential for 4 very small very very small but H it's been one of those days the environment's still there storms are are building quickly hi Bri how you doing okay um Trevor says love the free app love the heads up for everything thank you so much not for everything we can't get to everything but we try to give a heads up as much as we can we might I've got some ideas oh Alberta forecast has been posted thank you so much Alena appreciate it thank you awesome um was it uh can you ask brenon maybe to notify okay more damage reports coming in thank you uh Patricia for sharing them with the ntp they'll be doing a survey on the damage ASAP and uh oh boy Hilda says the app also lets you know when Adam is live yeah for sure myself or anybody on the team whenever whenever we're live we send out a notification to let folks know that we are live usually specifically in the area okay all right back to radar hello uh 45% severe wind risk on the Niagara storm that is increasing in strength quickly uh storm risk went up to 45% severe wind risk 2% tornado risk on it um that is definitely increasing in strength this is uh my Stevensville we're not getting a Deja Vu here boy uh it's now under severe thunderstorm warning from Environment Canada looks like yep Bron they mentioned Tado risk on that in that severe thunderstor morning for uh oh now it's got a hook on it are you kidding me is there going to another tornado Niagara today are you serious I don't think they me mention a tornado rest double sh God okay um I'm going tornado potential on this one now it's got a hook on it I mean what do you want me to do what can I do I got no they didn't okay thank you br appreciate it all right then um going tornado potential on that one I don't like log it's got a hook it's in the same area as it was before on the storm near I don't want to say Stevensville but it's near White Pigeon there's a little meso there too and there's a hook on this storm and it continues to strengthen right here um white pigeon where's White Pigeon I guess that's south of Niagara Falls near I'll say near near white pigeon pigeon uh Southwest of Niagara Falls tracking slowly to the southeast Awards what are the odds of this actually touching down again it's got to be low it's got to be low Southeast towards I'm going to put unfortunately right in the thing unfortunately Southeast towards unfortunately Stevensville and Fort Eerie am I allowed to write o let's see here we detected tornado potential on the storm near White Pigeon Southwest of ner Falls tracking slowly to the southeast towards unfortunately Stevensville in for area again again man 306 oh why did I type that device honestly thank you Calico for the stars I appreciate that thank you all there sending in uh super chats I've I've been a little distracted I haven't been able to get to them all oh man maybe I'll just go rotation detected this got a hook though are you serious I'm going to go rotation detected rotation detected we've detected rotation I'm going with that for now we'll see what the next frame shows we've detected rotation with the storm um second here station detected there we go and it's actually not 306 anymore it'll be 307 by the time I send this ration blah blah blah blah blah y yada y okay I'm just going rotation detected for now and um send now okay what is this damage report in St Thomas uh big tree damage in St Thomas power line down oh boy oh boy oh Bri you're in I didn't realize you're in poor curn unle let see here um oh boy oh boy oh boys is one of those days folks I hope everybody's staying safe we're getting damage reports left right and Center looks like the vtp now hold on that's turn attic stretching still a four starting to see a lot more stretching up towards pmri area it's really the stretching index is really heading up that way let's see here oh yeah I was going to sit down all right all right all right I'm going down we're going to go sit I just have to press one button and then it will go sit so in the words of Ryan Hall I'll see you down there bye I'll just go sit in my chair down here here we all right I'm sitting down we've been live for I should try every hour I should try to stand up or sit down got to swap it up I don't like the look of the storm 3% tornado risk now that's all it was this morning that's all it was this morning was a 3% starting to see a hook on that storm I don't like seeing a hook on that Ah that's a little more comfy that's okay okay yeah I don't like the look of that second here oh boy just wanted to mention that the national weather service has a special Marine warning on that storm along the river yeah and they mention a water boat potential H that makes sense back to delh high delh high is still a 3% tornado risk over here let's see what exitor is showing for the storm um some of the rotation has become a lot a lot softer which is good um give me just a moment here I'll be right back e okay I'm back sorry about that Alissa says and poof he vanishes as sometimes I have to vanish when my seven-year-old comes in the room and I'm like hey what are you doing what do you think you're doing he says he's going to watch the live stream so I said no commenting yeah I don't like the look of this storm again might be going a little bit more due east definitely had a nice hook on it right here Hook is kind of being swallowed here but it's still there it might actually not head towards Stevensville and Fort area it might end up going just straight towards Black Creek and out so hopefully that's the case and it doesn't head towards those same areas again oh boy oh boy oh I got water o I have St storm nuts I forgot about them let's see here is the team talking about here hold on S right uh we've had reports of trees down across the road on John y spring water and Pleasant Valley roads near Jaffa J jfa multiple reports of uh trees down Mar says if I'm on the app where can I view this live actually if you have uh if you're able to get YouTube on your TV which a lot of a lot of TVs can do that now if you have like Rogers you just press the little button and you say YouTube instant weather and you should be able to get the live stream right on your TV and then you can still use your phone to do whatever you want Ashton says you have storm what oh my storm nuts got my storm nuts I like to drink I like to drink some nuts on the stream that does not sound good got to watch your phrasing with storm nuts maybe it's on purpose maybe to be entertaining h feel like something's going on here near Fisherville wait where was that where's Jaffa I'm going search for it Jaffa Ontario okay I see right near Elmer yeah oh boy it's a day folks delh high right in that storm right now um something's going on here near kuga check out on nagara storm here yeah it might be missing Stevensville and Fort Arie so that's good news for them still 3% tornado risk on that storm something going on here on that storm let's see might want to get a polygon ready Lisa says new viewers not used to some of the sains yet I should probably s that one down oh boy oh you got to say kuga oh kuga I see all right where is my got my iPad oh man it's usually useful too late to dial down correct uh the kuga stor kuga storm has maybe weakened a little bit on the latest frame hello this is starting to rotate here but that is I believe east of onario is it where is the oh I see this is the border right here so yeah this is actually east of Ontario we're starting to see some rotation on that uh Tona Wanda storm I'm feeling better about going rotation and not tornado potential on this one I mean when when we say rotation that's basically saying tornado potential but um but I had a feeling it might not be as strong as before so I think rotation made the most sense look at these reports beside beside me right here for Eerie possible tornado damage oh definite tornado damage that was definitely a tornado oh boy I hope everybody's okay excuse me oh boy kuga kuga oh it's Yuga you have to actually say the U kuga oh not kuga but kuga interesting car says rising up clouds over water for Eerie xdn says can I look at Alberta yeah I can shouldn't be kicking it up until later today no maybe it's already gone there's literally nothing happening couple little rain showers South of Edmonton that's it yeah no Alberta's fine right now but we're going to be tracking Alberta later for sure for sure okay uh I'm going to get rid of this tornado potential polygon but am I the northern tornadoes project is confirming that at least one tornado caused damage in Fort Erie in fact there may be multiple tornadoes that occurred in eastern Niger region earlier today based on dot dot dot I couldn't read the rest of it yeah ntp has confirmed that it was a tornado for eie that makes sense cuz the videos are clear as Dave still watching this K Yuga kuga s says don't forget to like the live stream please and thank you okay youa okay there's an interesting little popup storm just north of Toronto just saw it come up on radar right by King City mhm interesting H I can tell you switch to your microphone sounds way better yeah it's a lot better I have it and in comments uh it's kuga oh so you have to actually say the U okay let brenon know how he sounds in the comments sounds much better on his new mic I know he does but let him know oh hello little renr storm what I think you're doing with a little tail on it hello little storms down there [Music] H got marginal up [Music] towa maybe we'll see what it does little storm right here are you doing can't oh yeah that's right it's better if I go split mode and then I swipe because then I can just show the storm this storm right here that's right okay I'm going to go severe thorm potential on those I think I think I think AR's asking about Del High hold on let me go double check I don't know I think Del high is probably okay to tell still something going on near lynville to shows it as well I see was tighter earlier it's hard to tell lton is interesting still watching kuga it may have softened on the last frame though and the Niagara stuff looks like it's going to miss Fort Erie B his head out do East definitely some rotation over here but that's on the US side of the Border over here Northwest e Buffalo and that's pretty much out of our area now trainer risk is increasing but that is for New York State at the moment so for Ontario here I'm going to pull off the rotation detected and the severe thunderstorm potential for Niagara right now so good news for Niagara it looks like that has weakened considerably which is good let's see here I'm going to kill this TR potential polygon I'm going to kill that one with the Elmer one not seeing anything too focused down there at the moment um minor rotation detected over Lake Eerie blah blah blah yada yada y from 153 I'm going to kill that one I'll leave that one um train potential like toward St Thomas that one I'm going to pull off for now um White Pigeon nager Falls rotation detected I'm getting rid of that one and I'm getting rid of the sever thos potential for Niagara right now okay all that's left is the tornado Potential from West Laur I'm going to get rid of that minor rotation detected over Lake Erie and damage he WIS and minor rotation up in eastern Ontario okay I'm going to create a new polygon for uh these storms in eastern Ontario there's a couple of them that I don't like the look of let me just go take a look at it um still that kuga one still has my attention a little bit but most of this is softening out which is good and there are some more storms coming in northwest of snia as well too so yeah there could still be some more popups uh to the West today so we'll see what happens with those thank you so much Mana thank you for working on a holiday and some is it a it's a holiday is it is it holiday is it it's a Civic holiday yay I don't even notice it depends it's technically not a public holiday Ontario but it's like ferally holiday it's a Federal holiday huh M all right whatever yea so it's technically not a holiday for us oh I see was these two storms I wanted to mention here this burnstown one which where are they going I'm down here excuse me um all right pretty big polygon on these ones it's going to go severe thunderstorm potential carefully monitoring these storms located near burnstown um located south of renr and where's the other one south of Ron to the West um southeast of Foy Foy Mount okay all right located south of renr and other one southeast of Foy Mount east of boy Mount they may have the potential to produce stronger damaging wind gust as they strengthen on radar tal rain small hail frequent l a possibility and I'm going to put this on isolated tornado not be ruled out with storms today based on on I'll just say what Storm's today storm development okay and the timing here is 3:28 okay did I say which way they're going oh um that are tracking to the east Southeast sounds good send notification now that's actually going to cover Ottawa if they may head that way we'll see King City Markham has a 9% tornado risk on stormat thank you SS go check oh that one is kicking it up a notch I don't like that burnstown storm really 9% tornado risk on the King City storm hello it might be because of all this noise maybe it could could be because of the shape and the overall increasing intensity but when you get into all this velocity noise the algorithm has struggles a bit with that it's now gone up to a 10% okay okay let's see what uh Buffalo is saying on that one what do you got for me Buffalo Hello whoa okay which way is it going Southeast okay new polygon time hey King City no way what way okay um so where is it here is exactly over King City and it's tracking to the southeast towards Richmond Hill and markh him okay maybe to eventually towards Ajax area I'm just going to do a severe thunderstorm potential on that but I will say that tornado line again say it cannot entirely be ruled out today I'm not going to go right downtown Toronto with it I think it's going more to the southeast all right thunderstorm potential storm is located near King City tracking to the South East potential produce stronger damage to wind gust strength generator trench rain small hail and fre light also possibility and an isolated not be ruled and the timing here is 3:31 okay sending notification for that and it's gone holy Reports look at this beside my head here neighbors yard for Eerie roof is in their yard can't see their 18 by 36 in ground pool oh my goodness though oh boy oh boy boys oh boys well folks it's been a day really hope everybody's staying safe today bford is now up to 5% tornado thank you appreciate it yeah look at this cell it's G up to a 10% TR of risk on that cell heading towards Richmond Hill and [Music] Markham and yeah that's up to 5% now who I really kicked it up a notch interesting I can get rid of that one we get rid of that minor rotation the Lake Erie one and what else we got here a few severe thunderstorm potentials Tia says have I seen the new movie Twisters yeah I've seen it twice I saw it once uh uh on the 17th 3 days before it came out and I mean three days before it came out you can book like the early the Early viewings of it I saw that once in Barry and then I saw um then I got invited to go watch it with the whole team from the northern tornadoes project down in London so uh it's actually the first time I've been I realized now it's the first time I've been in London I've driven past London storm spotting many years ago but I've never actually driven through London so that was the first time I've actually been in London Ontario it was pretty cool and we went and checked it out it was a private viewing the northern tornadoes project had a private viewing for it which is pretty cool and I got to meet a lot of team members that I've never met before it was a blast so huge thank you to Dave and uh Connell and uh Greg for inviting me down it was it was a great time whoa okay that's just nice interesting interesting yeah looks like nagger is in the clear for now there are some storms moving from the west but those storms that we saw have definitely uh definitely moved to the east into New York state so you're good there I like that Melissa keeps message messaging this message but it's very helpful she says uh everyone asking for their region please use the free instant weather app the chat is moving far too fast to catch every request tell us what you're experiencing instead yeah instead of saying like uh hey what's happening in you know water Waterford instead you could say hi I'm in Waterford and this is what's happening as opposed to asking me what's happening in your area it makes the chat so much better if you just tell us what's happening in your area we don't want you going outside to figure that out but you know if you can say it's really dark here the rain's getting really heavy um you know lots of lightning and thunder all that kind of stuff it's really very much helpful if you let us know Albert says tornado in 4 yeah that was that was this morning we are all over it but that was this morning this is now okay the trer risk on this King City storm has gone down to 5% on uh instant weather storm risk again it's in beta so there's we're still doing some testing with it we're making some tweaks to it leveraging some pretty cool Technologies uh and uh and trying to improve them for Canada um yeah it's been uh it's been a journey but it's been interesting but it's pretty helpful says I'm using the app and nothing is showing on radar yeah I just noticed that I noticed it wasn't showing up yet I don't know maybe because it's too close to the actual radar station or something like that um if you were using instant mother Pro you'd be better off here but yeah for some reason our app that Storm's not even showing up yet on our free app which is not great so we're going to improve that though we're going to leverage the technology from instant mother Pro to make uh to make the radar much much better on the free instant weather app so we'll get there we're working on it M to Jess Jack says tornado touchdown in Buffalo New York yep that was a little that was earlier this uh early afternoon and uh we hope everybody's safe it also touch down in Fort Erie as well the Fort Erie area Fort Erie area try to say that three times fast I'm not doing it but you can try if you like mm so right now we're tracking these storms through parts of Southwestern Ontario parts of Niagara parts of the GTH and parts of eastern Ontario and eventually later on today we are going to start tracking them through um Alberta Alberta has a tornado risk today a large hail risk as well and we will be watching that closely as well so new storm development up here east of Brit kind of where they're popping up you can see this outflow boundary this is cool this is something you can only see on Pro radar is this cool outflow boundary right here outflow boundaries are normally just interesting and cool and they're a little bit windy but there was an outflow boundary that hit where was it again it was in Alberta we had a report and then later on Environment Canada said the wind gust on the station there hit 92 km an hour sometimes an nflow boundary can actually create severe wind gusts and this was um trying to remember where it was it was near Lethbridge what was it called again I can't remember off the top of my head but they ended up having um uh they had tree damage and I was like and then I went and looked at radar and I was like you had tree damage and I looked at radar and I was like oh it was an outflow boundary like really an outlow boundary caused threee damage and it turns out uh turns out yeah it was uh uh it was an outow boundary that had greater than 90 km an hour wind gust which is what can take trees down so that's not great uh Britney says was there a tornado touchdown in Dutton my sister was there but I don't remember hearing anything about it on here yeah we were all over that Dutton uh that Dutton storm we said tornado potential sent it a polygon so if you have our uh if she has our app then she would have received um she would have received uh a notification from US but if she doesn't have her free app then that there may have I think there were severe thunderstorm warnings at the time Garrett Robinson says IW is the best thank you so much I appreciate it sud says instant WEA Pro is worth every dollar it's so much fun to follow along thanks you so much Suds follow along Suds does more than follow along Suds tells me all the time where something's interesting Suds is doing a lot more than following along Suds is basically helping which is which is helpful I appreciate that helping is helpful yeah so sud's definitely not following along you're like leading the way Suds what are you talking about following along Albert says apparently rotation again for 4 yeah but I so I I posted that rotation polygon earlier but I've since taken it off um oh unless this decides to go south what is this storm doing hanging so close to the Border what do you think you're doing there's like retrograding going on today it's creepy this should all be moving East yeah it's moving East it's all good for is fine right now I don't think this is a storm this is maybe just a little bit of rain Fort ear should be okay Francis burnstown again um oh I was just looking at that up here Burns town again let's see something going on with this one but it's pretty weak and we put a polygon over it over towards Ottawa we'll see what happens here we'll see what happens okay back to these ones down here the Tavis stock storm nothing too exciting got down to a 2% tornado risk on instant Weather Pro here on that one let's see here um Teresa can you let me know in our team chat um did we set that up so it was so it would automatically email instructions so if people subscribed in with Pro now it should actually automatically email them instructions I think excuse me only problem is it's going to go into the spam folder right from from our testing if you do subscribe to in other Pro check your spam folder because the instructions are probably there from our testing for some reason it just kept going in Spam folders that we don't know why we'll work on that oh that's right we need the different oh that's right we need the different subscription oh okay all right I'll look at that for now now Teresa is going to send you the instructions by hand so please be patient as she does that if you do subscribe to instant mother Pro which is what you're looking at here it actually looks like this one second here this is what it looks like yeah it's a little more little more zoomed out I just zoom it in so it's the city names are bigger but in some other Pro looks like that when I zoom it in we can get a better idea of what's going on um we did fix all of those uh you know uh Brandon remember we had the missing poly on some of the warnings were like missing from instant Weather Pro they're that's all fixed now so there will be no missing alerts from instant Weather Pro at this point hello two more storms that have popped up over the GTA the Georgetown storm and the Malton storm really useful to see the uh the instant weather storm risk which is part of instant Weather Pro so you can click on any storm and you can see the risk the potential for a tornado the potential for severe wind for severe hail and the overall total storm risk um this storm has gone back up to 7% tornado risk on it interesting and sometimes that's a bit predictive so it's saying like over if this storm continues to strengthen then it may have the chance to produce a tornado right now I'm not seeing anything too strong as far as rotations on it but but it the storm risk has surprised me a few times where I'm like really it's going like 15% tornado risk on it I'm like I don't see any rotation and then like two frames later there was rotation I'm like whoa machine learning AKA AI machine learning is pretty interesting sometimes a computer can look at all of this different data and it can it can find patterns in the data patterns that a little bit more difficult for humans to see so it's pretty useful stuff in that regard it's pretty cool especially for this purpose not for every purpose but for this purpose it's uh pretty useful cuz so much weather data has to look at all at the same time and calculate these percentages so really interesting to see oh we get a new update 342 we did we got a new update it's got an interesting look to it where's it going I thought it was going more Southeast but now it's stretching more to the east so actually a lot of these areas are going to be missed markam will probably see it but Thornhill skyro parts of Toronto that I notified you might actually you're probably going to get missed by this although there's more development so more storms are developing Bren we seen any flooding risk for Toronto I mean it's possible with those storms with how slow they're moving and like they're several of them yeah you might want to check the latest her and see if there's like accumulated precept and see if there's any the problem with that is these like Lake Breeze enhanced uh storms don't really show up well on models really hard to predict how much rain could come from them true true true they don't like the look of that storm as just fitting there yeah it is M [Music] pretty it's little burnstown one and Spruce hedge one in eastern Ontario it's got an interesting little hook on it trying to be hooky here overall looks pretty [Music] weak Allison says Adams can someone send us the instructions for the pro version we just paid for our subscription for the second year yeah I mean uh um we can send you I think I think Teresa has put together some instructions on it sud says is this a model we've developed actually we standing on the shoulders of geniuses here um but we've made enough tweaks that we decided to rename it um because we're going to be we're going to be changing it for to improve it for Canada so uh we've decided to to rename it to IW storm risk but uh it is based off some incredible algorithms that already exist but we're doing our own thing with it so we decided to give it its own name or give it a unique name because I don't think it would be representative of the original algorithm to call it uh what the original algorithm was called because we're making changes to it so so we just decided to call it instant weather storm risk I think it makes more sense that way and it's a little bit clear the original name was pretty convoluted so this is pretty clear storm risk easy to understand um the Rexdale storm has a 5% tornado risk on it now hello nothing on velocity that looks very strong but 5% tornado risk on that storm um I'm going to do a I'm going to do a polygon over those for severe thunderstorm potential just because they're looking pretty grumpy at the moment especially from uh especially from Buffalo okay Teresa says I'm having issues getting uh with getting notifications I've been working on my end but I'm not getting anywhere um make can you send an email to Teresa at help instant weather.ca help instant weather.ca and she can walk you through some steps you may just want to um you may just want to delete oh yeah that's a good question Smith has a good question notifications for what are you talking through our instant weather app or you talking through Facebook or something Facebook has been sending people old notifications a lot that's that's not up to us that's up to Facebook unfortunately um that's why it's good to check the date also to use our uh use our free app because then you already know what's current our free app always has what's current the instant weather app okay you may want to delete the app and reinstall it I don't know if you tried that yet but that can sometimes help with getting notifications to work again if your notifications stop working that's been a pretty easy fix but if you do that and you're still having issues then um I would definitely uh definitely send an email help instant weather.ca and Teresa can walk you through some steps to uh hopefully help hopefully help okay I'm going to send that notification to parts of uh Toronto now with that storm it's looking pretty grumpy which way is it going okay time to send a polygon polygon time polygon time okay where are those storms exactly so over boy okay okay sending that polygon to the Toronto area and severe thunderstorm [Music] potential this cluster of storms tracking Southeast into Toronto flooding is certainly a concern I'm going to right a concern as they're moving quite slow Lindsay said you're awesome Teresa if you haven't heard that recently Teresa is awesome everybody give a warm uh Teresa is awesome response if you can in the comments appreciate it that's a pretty low hanging cloud in Markham Brennon can you hit play that on that video If it unless it goes away even if it goes away go back can you go back to that video that was over Markham and hit play who a lot of lot of uh was it that one no that one oh the bottom one's a video yeah look at that really low hanging hope that's scud okay cluster of storms tracking Southeast in Toronto flooding is certainly concern as they're moving quite slowly um they may have the potential to produ Stronger damaging Wing gust as they are strengthening on radar torrential rain small hail frequently possibility um isolated tornado can be ruled out as well with today's storms and the timing here is 351 eight good to me and set okay set the polygon for these storms we're looking at right now uh okay you should see that polygon pop up pretty soon it's over here no I've ruined all my windows now come back windows what is this potato video is this a photo or video oh it is a video looks like it was filmed on a potato why is it such bad quality sometimes people have settings that like crush the quality of videos and stuff I don't know it looks it looks awful Matt says got my notification for Toronto thanks so much appreciate it 7% tornado risk really on that storm oh boy what is going on it's got a little hook here near Molton heading into tobaco hopefully it's nothing go back and look at Southwestern Ontario interesting interesting nothing too exciting here the most of the rotation has weakened there's little pockets of very very very minor rotation but nothing too exciting at this point which is good ronto is getting a lot more interesting these days right now because these kind of storms are developing and they look much worse from Buffalo but Buffalo's quite a distance away interesting yeah there's a little bit of minor rotation here with this tobaco storm and there's a little something going on here with the Mr Saga storm as well H hopefully nothing again could be a flooding risk isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out with today's storms as we've already seen cuz we've already had lots of damage and uh a confirmed tornado in Lake Erie area or sorry in Fort Erie area wow there's some interesting James just posted Scaro near Pickering you see some pretty low hanging hopefully scud right above that truck on the left you can see a really low hanging something or other videos help a lot but it's all good we'll take the photos if we can get them where's New Dundee anybody know where that report was reported from new dunde I can search it up oh boy and it's 3:54 we've been live for 2 hours and 19 minutes how long have I've been sitting down don't tell me I've been sitting down for an hour I've only been sitting down for I feel like half an hour I'll sit down for two hours for every hour I stand how about that bring him a nuts W of kiter okay mhm that area right there thankfully the rotation looks pretty weak on these Toronto storms even though we've got 4% train to risk overall the rotation looks quite weak which is good mhm Seth Mana says hey Adam ever seen a straighter storm front via exitor it's a straight line from Port curn to Petersburg huh sud say if you could place one more radar Tower anywhere in Canada where would it be while selfishly it's I'm going to place it in like Angus so that I get a perfect view of Barry but um there actually is a research radar are you already have King so close to you you can't even complain I know but I'm saying if I was able to just Place one anywhere I'd put one right about where would I put it put it in innisville or something then we can get a good look at Angus and Berry just so you can see really really close to the surface but you're right we put it up by like a Gong Park FL are kind like a true fly spot that's a good point um um there is actually a research radar that's down in a perfect spot I was like can you guys please turn on it's an Eggbert or something it's down here wait I got the perfect location can you guess there is a radar right here by the way um but it's only a research radar they don't have it at what oh squirrel Depot ding ding yep ding ding ding ding be perfect too yeah squirrel Depot radar would be great then we can get a better look at what's happening in paa Penbrook area yeah this would be a perfect area for radar cuz the nextt the pass in Manitoba they need some more Northern coverage there true they always get random tornadoes up there um right here would be perfect because you can see there's a big gap between all these Radars so right here would be a good spot right about let's see what it is um Manny wacky right near Manny wacky somewhere here would be a good idea because then that would hit that would hit Al gonin it would be just be an ah there's a lot of Co back there maybe this is very rural so yeah maybe just right here maybe up near Deep River or something anyways We're Dreaming it's not going to happen so moving on moving on from our dreams Put Your Dreams Away everybody um what's going on over in Alberta anything yet what no not much yet I would say give another couple of hours wait wait till about like 3 to 4 local time this might be it right here might be the first glimpse of what's about to happen it's still a bit early just a little guy you know Dave Patrick would see this and get a tornado on it he's done that before but over here in Ontario all right what's going on with these storms near Seria they look pretty boring boring boring I was looking at um meso analysis for in the future and it looked like it looked like things are actually going to weaken excuse me yeah things are going to weaken over the next two hours this is going to be an early live stream for Ontario I don't know if we're going to I don't know if we'll transition right into Alberta or if there's going to be a gap but we might be able to do uh might have to do a uh hybrid stream for a bit and then I'll go eat some food and then come back and then do Alberta I think makes sense but at least it won't be too busy cuz it looks like things are going to hey what's going on over in Nova Scotia s Thunder storm warning what minor rotation in Nova Scotia hello outlow boundary interesting interesting hello hello minor rotation in Nova Scotia you don't see that very often right here on that little [Music] storm oh and there's a little bit of hail I wanted to go take a Peak at Nova Scotia so I knew there was going to be a severe thunderstorm risk but that is interesting and this is an outflow boundary coming off of these storms no way you don't see outflow boundaries in Nova Scotia very often a little bit of minor rotation right here near New Toro Road true tro new Truro Road interesting should keep an eye on that does this have a little bit of minor rotation of decent little storms there we need to oh and let's take a look at that Dell how he or is that is that oh yeah this is like wind farms or something so that's nothing and wait is so is this oh yeah this is also this is also noise clutter ground clutter garbage okay neither of those or anything but these are storms okay I want to keep an eye on that so somebody nudge me to go take a look back at Nova Scotia please and ey and that looks like a little bit of minor rotation I don't know what the environment's like over there I don't see much in the Supercell mhm so looks like Ontario was pretty much a morning and early afternoon show and things are going to continue for uh probably the next little bit but then eventually taper off as these storms hello k kuga a little bit of rotation near kuga this is a one frame behind hello yeah there's a little bit of rotation right here near kuga and there's a little bit of a hook you can see that very clearly um I'm going to go minor rotation on that one just cuz I don't like it wait I'm on King let's see what exitor says exitor says whole lot of nothing which one's closer I think they're about equal now what is what is uh kbff says let's see what Buffalo says Buffalo's like me Buffalo's not very excited exitor is not very excited King is like there something going on but it might be higher up do I go Miner on that one I'm going to get it ready I'm getting it [Music] ready Michelle says he stood for the first hour then he parked it do I have to go back up and stand again it's once I get cozy in the seat you're like I don't want to go stand again I should though it's good for me um okay I'm going to uh proactively create a polygon for the K Yuga storm let's see here heading down towards Dunville and I'm going to create a minor rotation polygon for that one I don't know if I'm going to sended oh yet I'm going to wait for one more frame maybe on the storm near K Yuga kuga tracking it's got a hook on it though tracking to the east is it to the east yeah tracking to to the east 405 I'm going to send it I'm going to send it I'm not waiting around today already had tornadoes that's is minor all right sending it might be nothing but it's worth sending excuse me thunderstorm War severe thunderstorm warning for Hamilton says Heather thank you very much or sorry Heathen I thought I said Heather Heathen Heathen Hammer that's an interesting name be getting a new frame pretty soon um for Hamilton yeah they put a severe thunderstorm warning for the Hamilton area from this cluster of storms storm heading towards Cambridge as well doesn't look like anything fancy really slow moving storm up here in Buffalo very slow there's my polygon for minor rotation detected on that one just in case what's going on over here let's go look at uh Nova Scotia again I want to see if that minor rotation has increased at all huh oh that's still the same frame okay we should be getting a new frame anytime soon that's rotating too there's a couple of areas of minor rotation here pretty rare for tornadoes to happen in Nova Scotia but not entirely out of the question they usually get maybe one a year one confirmed tornado a year usually one or two the most yeah there's something going on with that one should be getting a new frame soon it's pulsing we'll see what is this you posted Atlanta sorry what was that whoa was that from that was from New York yeah or that was from Buffalo yeah look at the speed like you don't think they move that fast but they move fast sometimes especially because it's got the multiple vortices going just like sucking the roof off those hous that's wild holy moly hope everybody's okay in Buffalo that's not great that's not great where's our frame oh there's our next frame okay let's see here taking a look at Nova Scotia just really quickly cuz we saw some a little bit of minor rotation there oh hello that looks actually more interesting than the previously did but it looks boring at the surface but hello tilt to looks nice there that looks like a upet right there right there all right I'm making a polygon for Nova Scotia should we go live in Nova Scotia yeah let's go live no sco we never do so might as well inant weather nov scoia going live and done I'm seeing some rotation in Nova Scotia so we are going live Nova Scotia we're covering Ontario at the moment we're going to be covering Alberta but we're also we just went live in Nova Scotia so hi to anybody joining us from the Nova Scotia area Bron can you change the banner to maybe uh tracking storms in Ontario and Nova Scotia um a little bit of rotation on this storm just Northwest of uh I don't to pronounce it p i c t o u p piku PTO piku I'm seeing rotation upper level rotation right there which I don't like the look of I'm going to send a polygon actually for these storms cuz a couple of these are actually showing some signs of rotation here so I'm going to create a little polygon for our friends in Nova scoia and we just went live in Nova scoa as well too so hey everybody Adam here for Minon weather going live in noas scoia we're also tracking storms in Ontario and eventually we'll be tracking storms in Alberta so we're getting around we're getting around today I'm going to create a polygon for these two storms looks like they're moving to the east but I'm seeing a little bit of rotation on them so I'm going to send it out if you do not have our free app you can get it at instant weaa app.com and then when we send out uh notifications for storms just like I'm about to do you can uh you can get uh those notifications on your phone for free let me see here are they going due east let me double check we're just taking a quick look at Nova Scotia here and then we'll jump back to Ontario but it looks like these storms on the severe thunderstorm warning here looks like they're moving due east the one over here is kind of going to the southeast so I'm going to create one polygon for both of them um let's go something like this and something like that okay you can't see what I'm doing but in the background I'm creating a polygon I'm going to go um minor rotation has been we've detected minor rotation on these two isolated supercells one is hold on one is balron b a LF r n one is near B A LF r n balron tracking to the east Southeast and one is near Scotch Hill Scotch Hill tracking to the east into I tou however you pronounce that that's Center up okay and the timing right now is going to be 512 in NOA scope 52 and uh perfect okay I'm going to send that notification now to the folks in the path of that one 299 folks in the path of that one interesting okay I'm going to send that right now and sending now okay so it's been a bit busy day we've had tornadoes touching down in Ontario we've got uh some minor rotation out in Nova Scotia as well too and we are trying our best to track all of it if we possibly can oh pikto is how you pronounce it thank you Lindsay appreciate it whoa that's getting more of a hook now actually let's see what tilt 2 is doing yeah tilt 2 actually looks pretty organized in a not good way um if you're in pikto you might want to take shelter with this supercell because this looking pretty beastly actually uh tilt 2 looks quite strong so yeah if you're in uh pctto see me I keep looking over to make sure I say it right if you're in pctto Nova Scotia I don't like the look of that storm not a great look in that storm here H yeah a little bit of minor rotation on those ones so we're going to keep Contin to watch that I'm going to jump back to Ontario here we are tracking storms in eastern Ontario in the GTA and also in Southwestern Ontario and the Niagara region so we are busy today we've had a tornado touchdown near the Niagara area in Fort Erie has been confirmed by the northern tornadoes project uh confirmed tornado did quite a bit of damage we really hope everybody stayed safe with that one we may have had a tornado down near Rondo Park as well um and we're keeping an eye on this storm near uh kuga which I did post minor rotation detect on that one um keeping a close eye on those storms down here as well lots of lightning on them let's see what we've got yeah still seeing a little that little bit of minor rotation did continue for the next couple frames so I'm glad I went minor rotation there cuz that could have been something there's definitely a hook right there um our IW storm risk is saying 2% unfortunately our ID storm risk doesn't go all the way into uh Nova Scotia unfortunately I think it might clip Yarmouth area but it doesn't go as far east as Nova Scotia so hopefully we can extend that in time um but I don't like the look of that storm over here in Nova Scotia near uh Piko uh seeing some midlevel rotation that looks quite potent on it actually so hopefully that doesn't produce a tornado but uh it's not entirely out of the question if it was going to um H kuga kuga so we did see some rotation in the kuga area it may have weakened a bit that would be good news for those folks uh those storms continue to track East into parts of Niagara as well we do have some slow moving storms in the GTA here going through Toronto hopefully they don't produce uh flooding but uh the concrete jungle here likes to flood a lot lot so and uh especially this year has been a historic year I think for flooding in Toronto even more than those even more than what 2013 was that really really bad flood I think they're saying that this the flood that just happened in Toronto could potentially be worse than what happened back then so but thanks for joining us if you are joining us from Nova Scotia right now we appreciate it we are tracking storms in Ontario we're going to also be tracking storms in Alberta today and we are tracking storms in Nova Scotia so we're all over the place we're doing uh we don't have to fly anywhere which is great we can do this all from instant Weather Pro which is what we're using right now to track these storms now hold on a minute is this a severe thunderstorm watch in New Finland as well well isn't that interesting we might have to do some storm tracking in nin land too excuse me see what happens there uh but we do have a heat warning of course across much of uh new runswick and uh Nova Scotia here and uh yeah we've got some pretty grumpy looking storms up by pikto we have to see how those develop it's 512 we should get another radar frame sunish actually that should be a new radar frame that we just received oh no that was the one from previously okay as we're watching those two storms in Nova Scotia we're going to keep an eye on Newland as well we are tracking storms in Ontario flying all over the place it has been a day so far though we hope everybody stayed safe from the tornado that went through the fort Ary Fort Ary Fort Erie area uh earlier as well through uh I believe it was Stevensville through Fort Erie and then eventually through Buffalo so we hope everybody stayed safe because there was some significant damage caused by that tornado I'm not going to take a guess on on its strength but in my head I am in my head I have an idea of what of what it'll be rated but I'm not going to say it out loud cuz supposedly you're not allowed to so but if I had to guess this is where at Lanta comes in and says no don't guess you can't guess the strength of a tornado actually often I do and I'm usually right I usually message Dave and I say let me guess it was a blah blah blah and he goes yeah that's what and then he goes out to the damage site and checks out the damage and he goes yep that's what it was so you can guess you're just not supposed to supposedly or something I don't know don't take kindly to rules around here let's see here um again I hope everybody stayed safe though because that looked like a a pretty strong pretty strong tornado multiple suction bices for from the video that we saw out of Buffalo it looked pretty grumpy what's your guess Sean Sean's reading my mind here but I'm still not saying it I'm just saying he's reading my mind I'm not going to say what it is what he's reading my mind that's pretty much what I'm thinking but we'll see but it could actually be even higher if cuz some of those buildings look like they got taken down pretty hard so it all depends on the uh on the construction quality because that factors into how strong the damage is if the construction is poor it's hard to get a high rated tornado but if the construction is really it's it's it's like new construction and it's done properly um then sometimes you can get a pretty high rating on the damage s do read my mind as well too yeah I'm thinking one of those two I'm think I'm leaning more towards the lesser of the two but uh stranger things have happened so it's very possible it could be the the higher end of that can hear thunder and St Catherine yeah there's a pretty oh I see you're you're hearing it from the southwest you are hearing it from this which is coming your way so but nothing here looking too super duper strong at this point in time but we're watching it closely hold on a second Patricia [Music] um Matt says so far no rain at all in Toronto that you're seeing what that's quite the Shelf from Port Stanley like the shelf cloud this way three different photos I'm guessing that's a bird I would think so I think that's a bird Brandon thought it was for him no it was definitely for me we're not supposed to we're not supposed to make guesses not that's the rules you're not supposed to guess even though we all guess but you're not supposed to no it's because that image who you're so loud I don't know why you just came on so loud and broke everyone's eard drums everybody's eard drums are are broken now so hold on a minute that's so weird I I think it's cuz normally you talk at a very very you're like yes Adam blah blah blah blah blah and then you came on very passionate and went way louder you need to have a compressor do you not have the plugins that we that we worked on for OBS are you using those or no cuz those should compress your audio so that even if you come on very strong I think when I switched OBS you didn't add all the plugins it didn't no I have it directly for streamyard now how's my voice now it's fine but I just needed maybe because I have it on automated changing streamyard oh you put an autume adjust yeah no you got to use the OBS plugins it's so much better so actually it'll actually compress it'll squish every time you go it loud it and squish your audio down but anyway that image can be used for me that Patricia posted yeah exactly you're still super loud though like way louder than you were before H so you might want to dial it back a bit but anyways what were you saying the reason we're not supposed to guess tornado damage you had a there was some reasoning behind it I know all the reasoning behind it I'm just saying we all guess but we we're not supposed to guess publicly rules they get mad if you guess publicly I don't know who they is but they get mad I've seen people get in trouble you're not supposed to guess that's like well you know a good example of it is like eleno people guessing EF5 and then cuz it's the widest most powerful tornado ever recorded that point but then it just hit nothing and it's a damage scale but just from the damage photos I saw it's looking oneish two-ish but we'll see it could end up being a two but we'll see and the multiple suction vortices on the video from from uh Buffalo certainly uh certainly makes me think it was not the weakest tornado usually you don't get suction bices like that unless you get into the ef2 level usually but we'll see but we're not guessing we're not allowed to guess we have to keep our ideas to ourselves whoa from the from the radar that's further away so this the casg in Nova Scotia is a lot closer to uh to P toe to ptoe but uh the CMB is much further away but it's showing higher up in the storm but wow it's showing some high values here 114 uh kilm an hour why is that not showing up is that not showing up what what happened to my display oh am I not at the right zoom level oh I'm not aha that's better there we go so it's showing 114 km an hour 106 this is well this is way high up in the storm but wow those are some really strong uh wind uh probably inflow high high up in that storm if we go back to cgo we're not seeing those values but we are seeing a hook Echo right here so we are seeing a bit of a hook near ptoe and uh higher up in the storm we were seeing some yeah we were seeing some strong inflow and possible rotation as well too so uh this is over here in Nova Scotia we actually saw a couple of isolated supercells so we posted a uh polygon for them saying minor rotation detected on instant Weather Pro and our social media pages of course Facebook and Twitter I don't think we did we post a Twitter I don't know I think our Twitter's broken for Nova Scotia but we need to work on that but anyways um but yeah severe thunderstorm warning from Environment Canada on this storm as well too and there's a heat warning of course in place and uh yeah those storms are looking pretty nasty so we'll continue to watch those and eventually we have to switch over and start watching Alberta but we actually went live in Nova Scotia it's been I don't think we've been live in Nova Scotia since the last hurricane um but yeah we wanted to go live because we see some rotating storms [Music] so if you are Nova Scotia thank you for joining us we typically don't go live all the time in Nova Scotia but we should go live more I think so let us know if you are watching from Nova Scotia in the comments pretty pretty please say hi Steve says question of the day do you ever think there will be an ef6 um EF5 means total Destruction so it's a it's a damage scale so can there be something more than total Destruction I don't think so is there storms that if they start some have been uh talking about doing a Scale based on the radar data so doing a Scale based on the Wind strength and the that type of thing so there could be a really interesting scale if if they create something like that that would be pretty cool it' be nice to compare the two to each other because you can have a what would be an EF5 tornado just go through a field and hit nothing and it gets rated EF zero or you can have uh it go through a populated area and then it's rated E5 so um I don't think it gives us the full picture to only use a damage scale I think we should also be using uh a wind intensity scale like how how how far the debris is lofted in the air because they have all that data right and correlation coefficient we can see how far is this data getting how far is the debris being lofted in the air um how strong is the rotation signature what is the V rot like what is the gate togate Shear the very very you know you can see how strong that storm is rotating so um uh can you hit play on that video brenon it says there was a funnel cloud behind that building in Hamilton Ontario behind the building okay I don't see anything but maybe there was maybe there wasn't maybe it was scud looks like those storms are slowly starting to move out of Toronto which is good hopefully not too much flooding they are moving pretty slow but hopefully we don't see too much flooding with that thankfully things are starting to calm down a bit this is still pretty grumpy storm here it's under a severe thunderstorm warning um that kuga part of Ontario just to clarify again we're covering we're live streaming in Ontario and in Nova Scotia at the same time right now because we're keeping a close eye on a couple little supercells in Nova Scotia Ross says Nova Scotia here sup Ross thanks for joining us appreciate it yeah so this uh um Marosa says there used to be an F6 but that changed decades ago was there ever an F6 the fueta scale went to an F I doubt that but really you said you've done a lot of research can you link us to that not that I've ever been aware of I've never been aware of an F6 no I mean like what can be higher than F5 if F5 means total devastation like there's nothing more than like when an entire house is wiped off the foundation like how can you have higher damage than that I don't know that's pretty much as high as it gets Steph says F5 Barry no Barry was an F4 1985 May 1st 1985 was an F4 it was a high-end F4 though so it was close it was close to uh it was close to that level let's see here s says uh chance Harbor Nova Scotia is that noise noise I hope let me see here V says counted two funnels 5 minutes ago couldn't get video Hamilton so a lot of folks are saying Hamilton uh there actually was some funnels yeah Tamo was thinking something similar to what I'm thinking not that I'm saying I'm not saying I'm not saying I'm just saying keeps uh keeps slapping me in our channel for saying what I'm not supposed to say I don't know I don't know why we're not allowed to guess I mean we all guess you're you're not allowed to guess those are the rules um oh I see what you're saying right here over the chance Harbor hey I don't think that's noise I think that's part of the rotation yeah we're still seeing rotation east of uh pikto let's see what tilt 2 looks like whoa tilt 2 is looking even stronger 97 km 97.56 versus minus 21 so um this is going away from the radar that's going towards the radar so uh the vot here is over 100 km an hour until two that's not good this is definitely rotating east of PTO it wouldn't be Sur surprised if maybe there's a wall cloud there and or a funnel cloud developing um and there's another storm popping up to the West here as well too definitely a hail core on this one it's got a hook Echo right near chance Harbor Nova Scotia we're tracking Nova Scotia and Ontario at the same time we're eventually going to track storms in Alberta but look at the lightning on this one in Ontario near uh near K uh all the K Yuga quite a lot of lightning still 4% tornado risk on this storm so uh folks are reporting potential funnel cloud in Hamilton today which is not great I'm seeing photos now of what looks like little scud fingers hanging out maybe little Shear funnels little scud fingers probably nothing too significant but definitely uh I can appreciate why people would consider them consider reporting funnel clouds on those ones but when you see a bunch of little scud fingers like that looks pretty scutty scut is a false funnel for those who are wondering but sometimes it could be I can see like little Shear funnels maybe like really really tight little tiny little funnels as possible um what's going on here again we are tracking these storms on instant Weather Pro we built it for the northern tornadoes project out of e we built it for the northern tornado project out of Western University and uh if you'd like to subscribe you can do so by heading over to instant weatherpro docomo but we do have a free app as well so we have a free app you can get at instant WEA app.com and uh if you do want to get uh into the weeds here and see some really cool Pro radar features that uh have never existed before for example swiping back and forth between Wind and Rain that feature has never existed on a radar app ever which is pretty cool that we've got that um hello that increased a bit severe wind risk is getting stronger towards Grimsby H interesting and a boatload of lightning on that one as well too um let's actually see what Buffalo is looking at here and also too we uh on instant Weather Pro we load Canadian radar faster than any other uh Pro radar app that is available uh we've done testing typically we load Canadian radar about a minute and a half early than some of the most popular Pro radar apps so um if you're interested in that you can head over to instant Weather Pro it's 99 bucks for the year which is equal to 825 a month um but if you can't afford that or you're not interested in Pro radar you can always download our free app which is called instant weather you can get it at instant weather app.com it is free and that's a pretty good price $ z0 one of my favorite prices let's see here so we still watching this storm that is tracking now through Hamilton into Grimsby Smithville area lots of lightning on it uh a little bit of a damaging wind risk on there not looking too too strong on lowest lowest level of radar uh the damaging wind RIS just dropped 28 to 18 the tornado risk is only at 2% at this point in time and there's that little storm over here going through St Catherine's as well too heading into nagar Falls so and that's all under a severe thunderstorm warning right now from Environment Canada I'm going to go take a peak over first let's actually take a look at what's happening uh in Northern London right now there's some rain some of it may be moderate there are some storms popping into Essex County nothing too exciting maybe some heavy rain towards Lal and which way is that going actually it's going to the southeast so maybe towards McGregor and Essex maybe towards uh Point peely eventually so a little bit of popup development there nothing too exciting at this point in time the storms in Toronto are just about over the water and then I'll get rid of this polygon that I created from earlier I still love the fact that it's merging the custom polygons oh that is fantastic that is just fantastic I love it which means in the US we should actually be merging probably merging tornado warnings together which is super cool but the reason I'm okay with that is because uh we're just about to add to in with Pro the ability to you click anywhere on on the map and so right now you can see minor rotation detected but when you click it in the new version you're going to click it and then you're going to see every type of alert that's available you're going to see all the detail descriptions below it um and so wherever you click you'll get different descriptions depending on where you click kind of thing so yeah it's pretty cool that's going to be great whoa this video looks wet is that a video or a oh it's a real got their four ways on uh it's looking pretty wet in that report right there let's see here but yes let's go we're taking a look also at Nova Scotia we're watching Nova Scotia and Ontario at the same time I don't think this might be the first time we've live streamed in Nova Scotia and Ontario at the same time still watching that storm that's east of uh pikto it sure showed some rotation there and it continues to show some strong inflow winds as it heads to the southeast we'll have to keep an eye on that one cuz my polygon kind of doesn't really follow it properly there's actually an outflow boundary you can see this outflow boundary here getting pushed off the bottom of the storms which is going to bring some big winds to Truro Truro TR r r o tro I never know how to pronounce anything but uh yeah it's going to head to the southeast there um we do have some other storm development as well to the South nothing too exciting these are the two storms to keep an eye on in Nova Scotia and also this one developing east of amers excuse me let's go fly all the way to the other side oh before we do that let's go take a look oh severe thunderstorm warning in New Finland now I'd normally say let's go live at Newland but these storms look pretty boring to me there's probably some lightning risk on them and that's pretty much that's pretty much the criteria for a severe thunderstorm warning I think in Newland um I'm not seeing anything too severe on radar but could have some torrential rain maybe some lightning risk that's probably about it we're going to fly all the way over to hey there's some storms popping up in Saskatchewan as well look like it's a Countrywide live stream today still waiting for some storms to pop there we go we're starting to see some storms pop uh in the Foothills now moving to the east so we should see some interesting development in Alberta today there is a tornado risk as well in certain parts so we'll have to watch for that carefully let's jump back to Ontario here and see what's going on in Niagara whoa that storm over St Katherine's in nagar Falls sure kicked it up a notch hello is that a video from nager Falls right there H that really kicked it up a notch 28% severe wind risk 3% tornado risk on that storm hello oh hello not seeing anything too strong as far as rotation although there is kind of this hook here and to be fair I didn't really see strong rotation this morning when there was a tornado touching down so I don't know if it was a hybrid or Lance out or something strange but I didn't see maybe it's cuz it was just too close to the Buffalo radar that might have been the case but uh there's a little bit of a hook over St Catherine's right now anybody in St Catherine's in our comments I'm sure there are looking feisty in St Katherine says D it's haing in St Catherine says Allan thank you very much crazy and nager Falls so you're thunderstorm morning in Place St Catherine's is getting wind and hail right now thank you very much appreciate it yeah that was a nasty looking storm it's really hooking right there someone said Fort eie is looking rough again I think Fort eie is fine there's just some rain coming in nothing nothing too exciting is this storm that's near St Catherine's and Ager Falls that's the one that's looking a little more interesting oh wow um uh Cody says can just issued a uh funnel cloud advisory for Edmonton stadi funnel clouds have been reported in luk oh boy funnel clouds reported in luk stadium property stars with the Super Chat thank you so much appreciate it again thank you kindly for all your support um funnel cloud well it's is it time to go live in Alberta as well too we might as well ah it's a little early yet I think let me just go see what's happening funnel clouds have been reported in luk on this storm I wonder if this could produce a little little Lance bout potentially H kind of don't want to go live too early in Alberta because people are going to jump on and then say ah there's not much going on and then jump off and then uh and then things are going to get nasty later on most likely so so I don't want to go too early but uh I know funel Cloud reports oh funel Cloud's coming down in luk I'm seeing it now on Twitter and oh boy uh that doesn't look like a funnel cloud coming down that looks like a lance bout that looks pretty close to the ground okay I think we're going to go live in Alberta as well R might have to update our ticker here uh maybe you know what just tracking how about this tracking severe thunderstorms across Canada because I'm also going to go I'm also going to be tracking the stuff that's happening in Saskatchewan too so tracking severe thunderstorms I'd honestly wait until we do that I mean there's literally a l well people come on to our YouTube and like get it that way I don't really see a point necessarily right now because it's you mean the Lance boat that's on the ground right now in Leo well yeah I'm going to go ahead and disagree with you on that one literally a lance vot on the ground right now l d which is a tornado on the ground so I'm going to go ahead and what I mean is there's not much we can do because it's like a land spout it's likely doesn't last that long and I think we should probably wait until we get like the storms pop the storms later today instead of just going live when there's like one storm that's probably going to last like five minutes well we could go live and then kill it and then go live again I mean we're already live so yeah I mean like we're already live like why are we I know but a lot of people in Alberta don't aren on our on our YouTube channel so all right well they got that notification and then over I'm going for it I'm going to go live in Alberta stormwatch and instant weather Alberta but then we'll just go live for the for the Lance Boo and then maybe we'll pull it off and then go live later um we'll see I don't know I'm going to go I'm going to do it I'm having fun going live across the country Let's Do It um I just realized uh when I went live in Nova Scotia the uh description had all this Ontario stuff in it by the way brenon I don't know if you want to go edit that so that probably looks pretty silly I already fit that oh perfect thank you so much okay cool um [Music] um I'm just going to kill the description in Alberta oh it says Ontario it still says Ontario it says I'm just going to say severe weather coverage all right because you've got Ontario right on there okay um one sec let me do this and I'll do the same thing in the description and then you can go and tweak it if you want so all right going live in Alo we are going live in Alberta we are live in Nova Scotia and we are live in Ontario Brandon can you change the banner at the bottom screen please so maybe just tracking storms across Canada probably a good idea I think it's it's best to do that let's see here um we did have a report and I'm looking at uh a report from Twitter that looks like a possible lbow tornado is touched down near leuk um folks are saying it's just a funnel cloud but I've got uh there's a photo on Twitter davidor low and it looks like that thing is really close to the surface so I would not be surprised that that was maybe a little bit of a touchdown there in the luk area right now so this is the storm right here the storm itself looks pretty weak and pretty stationary as well too it's kind of developing and not really going anywhere um but uh we did have a report on Twitter of a of a possible um of a possible lbow tornado near luk really really close to the ground in these photos so it's very possible that that has touchdown um so if you do know anything more about that please let us know we do have a reporting group on uh on Facebook called Alberta storm reports you can report it to right now on the side we're showing Ontario storm reports because we've had tornadoes in Ontario today and we are uh watching closely with those as well too and believe it or not we're actually watching storms over here in Nova Scotia too so we're all across the country today folks it's been a journey um 5% tornado risk right now on this St Catherine storm so I'm just jumping back to Ontario here um I don't like the look of this St Catherine storm here I'm going to say I'm actually going to go minor rotation on it because it seems to be increasing in strength and I'm going to do a polygon right now so we're tracking storms in Alberta we are tracking storms in Ontario and in Nova Scotia all today today is a busy day but I'm going to go create a polygon here give me one second and I will do that quickly um I'm going to create a polygon for St Katherine's area that says minor rotation detected because that's what I'm seeing on radar it does not look very nice it looks like a pretty grumpy looking storm um let me just make sure I got it in the right spot and it seems to be moving to the Northeast towards Niagara on the Lake okay okay let's see here that looks pretty good to me uh let me just make sure okay what it just it just increased okay 4% tornado risk on that now all right sending out a polygon for those in the Niagara regions at the moment and again we'll jump back to what's happening in Alberta we do have a report of a funnel cloud and potential lbow tornado in the luk area on that particular storm um um minor rotation detected on this storm near St catharin tracking to the Northeast towards Niagara on the Lake Etc um there's also a flooding risk with this storm as it's tracking pretty slowly okay and the timing here is going to be four this is for Ontario 446 okay and I'm going to send that notification out right now and that is done perfect yeah so that's potentially rotating tracking to the Northeast towards nagar on the lake um storms are just moving out of the GTA although there's a little bit of development uh north of Miss Saga there um but I will probably get rid of that polygon soon there are some storms in eastern Ontario as well that we are tracking they're not looking too exciting at the moment I'm going to fly over here to Nova Scotia then we'll jump back over to uh Alberta as well and we can uh pull up Atlanta's forecast map as well too and talk about what's happening later today in Alberta as well um we are seeing some rotating storms believe it or not in Nova Scotia of all places couple little supercells they may be weakening a bit this one looks like it's trying to to weaken although it still has something going on here uh yeah there's still something going on Northeast of Woodburn tracking East into the lower uh Barney's River area Lismore of Nova Scotia so we're watching that storm closely the two storms to the West look like they are weakening so hopefully this one weakens as well um there are there are severe thunderstorm warnings in New Finland as well too but those storms look pretty boring from what I saw nothing too exciting maybe just some lightning I don't think the uh severe criteria is too high for uh New Finland pretty much like a thunderstorm gets a severe thunderstorm warning over there whereas uh over in uh Ontario the thresholds are pretty high and of course in Alberta the thresholds are quite high for severe thunderstorm warning um we do have some storms here in Saskatchewan Northwest of kind Kindersley and they are interesting under severe thunderstorm warning from Environment Canada and as I scroll back we have the big severe thunderstorm watch you can see but also this area which is a uh funnel cloud advisory and based on the fact that uh we did have reports of a um funnel cloud and possible lbow tornado cuz it's reaching really close to the surface so I would not be surprised if that uh if those funel Cloud reports from luk actually ended up touching down towards the surface as well um did we is there anything um uh hold on a second Jody says just got a notification uh for link uh Lincoln of minor rotation can you chat about that a bit yeah um looks like uh that storm that's kind of uh storm that is over St Katherine's right now does have some minor rotation on it so we're a little bit concerned with that one especially with the fact that we did have a uh a violent tornado touchdown in Fort Erie south of nagar Falls this morning um that was uh or very early this afternoon that was a pretty intense moment so um yeah might be a little bit of a land spout potentially here near luk brand did you see anything on um Alberta storm reports of that uh of those funnel clouds is there anything we can we can maybe pull up on the stream potentially just going to run back over here to Ontario and take a look at that uh that storm not too sure if Patricia's watching maybe she can confirm in her group chat if there's been anything or Lindsay I'll see if they're listening I just took a peek I didn't see anything it doesn't mean it hasn't been anything approved yet oh I see did okay I can take a look here one second just take a look at that in the background see if there's anything one pending post and it's gone which means it was approved um let's see here no it's just a a report from last night so I don't see anything on the on the group there but yeah if you are seeing any uh if you do have any photos of the uh funnel cloud that happened near luk if you'd like to share it on Alberta storm reports that' be great as long as it's yours definitely don't share something from somebody else without permission but uh yeah if you do have that that would be helpful for us to see um we are expecting some severe thunderstorms uh later today in parts of Alberta and maybe a tornado risk as well too so um we can bring up uh Atlanta's map brenon do you have Atlanta's map handy I can pull it up as well if you're if you're busy [Music] I can get it one second I'm just flying all over the country here taking a look at different rotating storms still seeing that rotation near Lower Barney River uh Big Island Brownsville area of uh Nova Scotia so still a little bit of a tornado risk here near Brownsville Nova Scotia at the moment if you're in that area I'd be paying close attention to that storm hopefully there's nothing too significant going on we do have a reporting group as well for Atlantic Canada it's called Atlantic Canada storm reports on Facebook so if you are out in Nova Scotia and you'd like to report anything on this particular storm uh or on any storm for that matter head over to Atlantic Canada storm reports now of course in Ontario we have Ontario storm reports and then in Alberta we have Alberta storm reports and we have Saskatchewan storm reports and we have Manitoba storm reports so we've got storm reporting Pages for most of uh the active tornado areas of Canada most of them not all of them but most let's see here so nothing happening yet uh down here in uh in Alberta one tiny little popup right here but we are expecting and you do see some stuff happening in the Foothills here um west of B and so uh we should be getting uh we should be getting some development actually that yeah we should be getting some more development tracking East uh late afternoon into the evening hours oh there's our forecast right there thank you so much um so that is our forecast for Alberta that Atlanta put together here so you can see Calgary airry Strathmore Drumheller and High River are in a strong risk today for uh large hail up to potentially golf ball size and we could see one or two tornadoes especially in that Corridor there um and then in yellow surrounding that area you can see olds Brooks uh CL home Taber Lethbridge and those areas are a slight risk so level two and then surrounding that whole thing in green you can see uh a marginal risk for severe weather uh that includes uh Rocky mountainous Red Deer Camrose Stettler Wayne Wright bamp uh Cardston medicon hat Etc and then a little bit further to the north you can see we have luk and Edmonton is obviously north of that in the non- severe area um um and uh but of course we had some funnel CLA development in the luk area here so it's very possible that that could be could have been a lance spout tornado the touchdown uh but definitely definitely funnel cloud uh potential a little bit further to the north there as well so there's that so that's why we wanted to go live just in Alberta we may have just go live quickly and Alberta on our Facebook pages just to let everybody know as well too we are live uh we're always live on our YouTube channel so if you're not on our YouTube channel you may want to go there cuz there are times we just go live on YouTube when things are not as exciting and then uh and then if things you know when the feces hits the fan then we go live on Facebook uh but uh when things are either not too exciting or we're talking about the forecast or we do these kind of preliminary streams where we're we're chatting for a bit and we're looking at the forecast we're looking at the data um basically if we're live we're live on Facebook so sorry we're live on YouTube so head over to our YouTube Channel if you're not subscribed on there already we would appreciate it you can find us on YouTube by searching instant weather and you'll see that we're live right now and uh please give us a subscribe and give us a thumbs up on the live stream we would appreciate that helps with the uh YouTube algorithm so if you can do that we'd sincerely sincerely appreciate it Tracy says following thank you so much Tracy I appreciate it thank you kindly and so we will be uh so we just went live right now just to take a peek at what's happening um um uh with the leuk uh funnel cloud report that we had right here and uh yeah we're watching that closely because it it was potentially a lance boo tornado just based on some of those photos it looks like they were heading real close to the surface so that may have been a lbo tornado and again over in Ontario we did have um we did have a report of a pretty significant tornado that went through uh Fort Erie Stevensville and Fort Erie into Buffalo earlier today we are continuing to watch this storm that we are tracking that's going through the St Catherine's area and out towards nagar and the lake it may have weakened a bit which is good still showing a 5% tornado risk on that cell but it may have weakened from those previous frames that looked a lot stronger let's go back and look at that so this was looking like a hook and we went minor rotation on that one and it's starting to fall apart in the last two frames which is good so that that risk looks a lot weaker to me now which is good to know for especially for Niagara on the Lake in those areas um there are some polygons I need to get rid of the uh kuga one I have to get rid of as well too and again we're also watching storms over in Nova Scotia so this has been uh been a pretty busy day and it's just getting started what we're 3 hours and 20 minutes in I have to switch to standing mode and my standing desk soon because I've been sitting for a while and crouching that's not great for me but uh let's just jump over here quickly to Nova Scotia where we posted minor rotation on these couple of storms I think they may be weakening which is really good news so this one is definitely weakened compared to what it was before let's jump over to ca uh CMB and take a peak here and uh yeah looks like uh maybe these storms are weakening over Nova Scotia so we'll watch those for a couple more frames and then we'll probably cut off the Nova Scotia stream but thank you so much for joining us as we tracked those storms out if you're out in Nova Scotia we appreciate it and uh what's going on here in eastern Ontario H interesting uh D on our team says my husband just saw one by Violet Grove a funnel cloud was it just a funnel D did they get a photo of it or uh was it reaching towards the surface or was it just a uh was it just a funnel they let me know as well and we have Co Cody's and Edmonton I believe on our team uh Cody is in Violet Grove and didn't see anything might be a different perspective on the Storm though not everybody's in the same spot let's see what's happening back in Ontario and then we'll go take a look at what's happening over by uh luk and Edmonton areas right now as well what is that report there some interesting scud hanging down what you see beside my head here a report from Ontario is looking like looks like a funnel cloud but it's actually looking more like scud it's just dangly outflow uh features from a storm that that can look like uh a funnel cloud but actually uh in that case I think it's just scud which is a false funnel but that happens a lot let's see here just looking at sketchin going back to where we're seeing uh where there was that funnel cloud near luk um where is violet Grove near drton Valley oh near Dron Valley down here oh okay right there Violet gr right there interesting um D are you on our live stream which way was he looking was he looking to the west or the South maybe it was these where you saw them or maybe that one down there there's tiny tiny little popups there's nothing actually in Violet Grove at the moment but there's some tiny little popups to the south of violet Grove and also to the West over by Lodge pole area thank you for that report appreciate it and so any of these little pop-ups right now up here could potentially have uh some funnel cloud potential to them like this little one here north of huget Alberta yeah there's nothing uh nothing on radar near VI Grove but south of Val grve there is something so here's Val grve right here and we have storms to the our little tiny pop-up cells to the west and to the southeast so I wonder which one she's referring to mhm uh he's a tank truck driver wasn't safe to stop to get a picture he said earlier he had himself convinced it was scud because there was nothing calling for funnel clouds oh yeah I see so earlier do you know what time it was at I don't know if D's on our live stream right now can you ask her in in our team chat if she knows what time that was at that would help a bit back over to Nova Scotia just to see these storms hopefully weakening down by lower Barney River I'm not seeing any more rotation on radar with these ones so I'm going to get rid of our minor rotation polygon uh for those who have our free app instant weather if you see it if you're searching in different areas for example if you search new glasow right now is how you pronounce it Atlanta I'm probably wrong Glasco Glasgow new glasow glasow glasow all right I was right the first time um um so if you do see that polygun right there over new glasow it's actually going to go away because I'm going to remove it right now I think it is weakening which means that's probably going to conclude our short but interesting live stream uh for our friends in Nova Scotia here let's see going to get rid of that uh kuga one as well too um I'm going to get rid of the uh one in Nova Scotia yes okay so that's it for that one those storms seem to be weakening I'll keep an eye on them just in case anything gets interesting but it looks like they are weakening right now so I've taken off that uh polygon that will disappear if I hit refresh here um and uh we'll continue to watch that little cell but I think it's probably going to weaken still severe thunderstorm warning from Environment Canada but if these continue to weaken I wouldn't expect that to last very long so we'll see what happens with that but uh thank you so much for watching Nova Scotia really appreciate it if you want to continue to watch our live streams you can just join us on YouTube so head over to YouTube search for instant weather and you can continue uh Nikki says she lives in uh trau cool um if you want to keep watching the live stream come on over to our Youtube channel search instant weather on YouTube you can find us we will still be live and we might peek back in a couple times in Nova Scotia just to make sure that those storms continue to weaken as well so we will uh definitely peek on them a couple times but yeah come on over to our YouTube channel and we'll continue to live stream but uh thank you so much NOA scoa for joining us and we are going to shut down the Facebook live stream now but again come to YouTube oh we're also on Twitch so you can follow us on Twitch as well too instant weather on Twitch thank you so much we'll talk to you soon okay I have removed the Nova Scotia live stream we're still live in albera for this uh funnel cloud advisory and to talk about uh these future storms that are coming up uh we should be getting some pretty strong storms good thing on Environment Canada nice proactive early severe thunderstorm watch they really want to let folks know that there's uh there's going to be a risk today for severe thunderstorms in much much of populated Alberta here um so we're going to be watching closely for that we just we wanted to go live to talk about the uh funnel cloud reports over leuk um and to talk about the forecast which we did Cover so if you uh if you missed that you can rewind the live stream and see uh when we talked about our forecast map there um yeah so this is probably going to be the shortest live stream we've ever done in Alberta because we're going to cut it off now but as soon as these storms start to blow up we're going to come back live if when things get intense again uh we will uh go live again on Facebook we are planning to go live today in uh Alberta we just wanted to go live quickly and early just to let you know that we are uh tracking uh the the funnel cloud potential that happened near luk I haven't seen any more reports from it so hopefully it went back up um that would be great if it didn't touch down I would not be surprised if uh if there was a bit of a uh landout touchdown near leuk um just based on uh just based on that photo I saw from davidor l l g w um he has a picture of that funnel cloud it looks like it's reaching real close to the surface so I would not be surprised if there was a lance booat touchdown near luk earlier um we did have shared an additional Twitter report in the team chat was that from Paisley Lancy lancast maybe I see it on on my tweet deck here on Twitter yeah she's got video right yeah someone on one of our Pages actually uh shared a picture too oh okay good like in the comments basically yeah yes perfect okay great all right excellent um did you ask them to share it on Alberta storm reports by any chance no uh got a million other things going on in the background oh it's okay it's all good I always do every time I see somebody put something in the comments I have like my pre cookie cutter I type like uh group ab and it goes and it says please share this on on Alberta storm reports blah blah blah blah blah I will do that right now it's all good whenever you get a chance SN worries um okay so yeah so we just wanted to talk about that uh funnel cloud from luk area we wanted to talk about the forecast which we did cover for Alberta I am going to shut down the Alberta Facebook uh live stream right now now but if you want to continue to watch our live stream uh please head over to our YouTube channel again you can search on YouTube for instant weather and then when uh yeah when things hit the fan later on I will be launching the Facebook stream again um in Alberta but it's probably the shortest quick little quick little live segment in Alberta just to let you know about the forecast let you know about the funnel cloud uh advisory and uh the funnel cloud reports from luk and also D's husband also talked about uh that earlier on near Drayton Valley uh near Violet Grove saw a funnel cloud earlier as well so yeah a little bit of funnel cloud potential here maybe a little bit of landspout potential um in parts of Alberta but uh the main risk for supercell tornadoes and for large hail and damaging wind gusts are going to be down here uh near Calgary and maybe up towards Red Deer it's a pretty big severe thunderstorm watch that covers all of Southern or most of Southwestern um and uh and parts of central Alberta as well too so yeah anyways I'm going to shut down the Alberta Facebook live stream but again we will be back when things get interesting a little bit later on um but if you want to continue to watch please come over and find us on YouTube you can search on YouTube instant weather and same thing with twitch you can search for instant weather and we'll be live there so come on over to our YouTube channel we're trying to we're trying to build our YouTube channel up a bit the more folks that jump on it the more folks that like it and comment on it and share it and all that kind of stuff uh the more our YouTube channel will grow so we're trying to grow that Avenue as well too so we'd appreciate that if you would come over and give us a like with that so but anyways we will be back uh on Alberta stormat and on instant weather Alberta uh when things get nasty later which we are expecting so we'll talk to you then thank you okay we're still live on Facebook Ontario just while we track these storms uh in eastern Ontario and more storms moving through the niaga region as well too um heading towards nager on the lake here we did put minor rotation detected on that one it looks like it has weakened quite a bit uh what do we have for percentages here 3% tornado risk 2% tornado risk nothing too significant here from machine learning um it's probably not going to be long until I shut down the Facebook stream in Ontario as well too only because uh these storms we're expecting them to we're expecting overall the environment to start weakening as these storms continue to track to the East and Northeast as well let's go take a look at Eastern Ontario Yeah couple storms there they're not looking too potent at the moment 7% sever R not too bad um interesting storm near Carlton Place though huh hello h a bit of a hook going on right here really close to the radar too close to the radar I can't even get a good look at it let's take a look at us radar from a distance interesting and look at Montreal radar H but this hook though that's definitely a hook but I'm not seeing anything for velocity although today I didn't see much of a velocity on the tornado that was way too close to the radar again and now this Hook is too close to the radar oh boy excuse me interesting that even mean hold on a second here Sor right one sec I'm seeing a strange tweet I need to share with the team second what does that word even mean somebody translate that for me I want to keep an eye on this storm right here near Carlton Place it's got an interesting hook on it actually might want to proactively get a polygon going on this one oh wait is this inside of my polygon it is inside of my polygon he never mind I've got a polygon covering that storm so story says why is everyone nagging him to stand up he's a grown adult he can figure it out on his own it turns out I can't figure it out on my own I need your help so I appreciate that actually it's all good so um so I'm going to stand up we're looking out for Adam's Health yeah want to keep me around for a while so I can track these storms yeah so did is there a preliminary rating on that someone sorry there was a tweet from uh I'm not going to say who and it's already calling the storm in ef1 right in the tweet it says that but it's not from the northern tornado project and it's not from Environment Canada so what and it's in French anyways um I'm like what that okay I got to get rid of this polygon here damaging winds and am of rotation there's a few polygons I need to scrap we are just live in uh Ontario right now but we are cons definitely um we are definitely watching storms across the region oh maybe they confirmed it in Buffalo they already confirmed the damage in Buffalo that was fast maybe that's what that report is they already confirmed ef1 in Buffalo no way really W that was fast okay where the heck was I oh reports of flooding on the DVP what else is new um southbound in the area of dawn Mills road so it ended up did end up flooding Toronto not surprised surprised thank you for sharing that thees I forwarded it to our weather chat um mus commat says Adam just needs to use WD40 um what I must be the biggest procrastinator ever I have my moments oh perfect they gives permission sweet they called it a land spout I wonder if they saw touch down that looks like it's that looks like it's on the ground that report for sure that one you just shared Atlanta that to me it's like straight down to the ground I would not be surprised if that was on the ground looks super close yeah I would not be surprised if luk was a was ends up being confirmed [Music] okay I'm going to keep looking at uh I got to take away some of these uh one second here got to take away some of these old polygons I got to keep an eye on the storms that are in Niagara and the one that is in uh one second here and the one that is in uh eastern Ontario I want to keep an eye on that Carlton play storm let's see what it's doing doing something can't really it's inside my polygon my polygon says severe Theros potential and in the polygon description it says an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out with these storms so that's a decent little storm right there it's too close to the radar though sometimes too close to the radar is bad too far away from the radar is not great but too close to the radar is not great either sometimes for example Fort Erie okay I think nagar on the lake is good at this point should be pretty much done starting to get some more storms moving up what new development in Toronto where did that come from okay now we have a new storm that is in that is flooding the DVP and that's probably where that flood report came from which is this new storm I've still got my severe thunderstorm potential polygon there it's hanging strong all right and we have uh nagar on the lake and what is this one where's this going oh that was the one that was in Toronto earlier and that's heading out over towards New York State trying to keep an eye on this one near Carlton Place it is folks were asking is it heading over towards Ottawa and it doesn't look like looks like it's heading to the southeast East so it's going to eventually head towards Frank town uh monog and uh or mono mono and eventually towards maybe kempville let's take a look at our friends and oh everything in Nova Scotia is ended severe thunderstorm warning severe thunderstorm watches it's all gone what's happening for our friends in New Finland just want to take a peek at their storms their storms are pretty weak oh there's some weak storms Newland I think they pretty much do severe thunderstorm warning for lightning correct me if I'm wrong what the heck was that I just got a notification of like something being plugged into my computer it just went what what was plugged no feedback from the computer that's great all right still some storms in skatan northwest of kers Lee nothing too exciting sorry if I'm moving the r the map around so fast is what I do let's take a look at all the alerts across North America there we go or at least not including Mexico but basically everywhere else Canada the US those are all the alerts pretty cool oh what's going over here in Hawaii small craft advisory interesting um and what's happening down here in Puerto Rico small craft advisory and what is this rip current statement oh cool and then whatever this means anybody S I go back to it oh it's Spanish I don't know what it is I can hear I'll copy and paste it and trans say French I can help you with Spanish I cannot let's see here translate where's Dora when I need her here we go okay so oh flood warning this means flood warning it's a sense like in and date oh yeah and Enon and then this is a it's a flood Adventure I guess Advent Advent a flood ADV venture that's that's clearly not right but anyways all right is this a tornado watch in Florida or is it a hurricane oh know this tornado watch yeah Florida and the Carolinas trinal watch there part of what is is it supposed to strengthen into a hurricane I think so right right now it's a tropical storm but I'm pretty sure Debbie is turning into a hurricane is that what I heard I think so warning of flood says Eniro ah ad this means warning ad oh it's an advert oh sorry not Adventure it's an advert advera advertencia something like that oh it made landfalls a cat one okay all right well continue to watch the storm north of Frank Town got a little hail core on it um the overall environment up here is not that strong so Sarah says uh Baha no warning in uh advert advertis it's like advertisement it's close enough to Spanish not Adventure it's not a flood Adventure it's a flood advertisement ah that makes way more sense all right I think I think I think it might be time yes I think it might be time to shut down the stream and then come back when I'm B it gets interesting that's probably a good idea normally we do this kind of hybrid in between but I think Brennan has ducked out because I think he's busy at the moment so I think a probably a good idea to shut down the stream and then when Alberta get no I'm still here oh OBS is just being a pain oh I see do you wanna better that we shut it down okay no worries come back later if you want yeah no it's all good I'm still here okay cools is being a pain yeah it happens it happens all right so I think we're going to shut down the stream for now um still going to be watching radar I'm going to go grab my iPad upstairs and watch radar closely and uh when things get going really interesting in Alberta which is what we're expecting then uh I'm a skok mat says Adam you gonna take that chair back upstairs with you now when I come back I'll H I'll be standing that's my plan when I come back I'll be standing so should be the case Okay um yeah y y okay perfect all right well I'm going to shut down the stream for now we will be back I'm going to keep watching these storms in eastern Ontario I'm I'm going to keep again the environment's not that strong over here so we're not expecting too too much but if things get interesting we'll definitely be sending excuse me more polygons and if things get really interesting we'll probably jump back on the live stream I'm going to get rid of the St Catherine's polygon um eventually going to get rid of this Toronto polygon as soon as these little flooding storms get out of the way and then uh yeah should be good all right candy says thanks for live stream today you're very welcome I'm going to go uh eat some dinner and watch radar closely and then when things uh things get interesting later on we'll be going live again in Alberta cuz it looks like it's going to be uh pretty interesting day so thank you so much everyone we will talk to you all very soon thank you Brennan thank you Elena thank you Teresa thank you Patricia Cody Cole Lindsay uh who else was it Sarah um Miranda D Bri all of the people yes I'm sure I missed many but anyways thank you so much to everybody in the team we'll be back so so uh yeah wait for our next stream if you want to watch a stream in Alberta you can either jump on uh Alberta stormwatch later on or you can jump on um instant weather Alberta or you can join us on YouTube so definitely come on over to the YouTubes uh give us a like and a subscribe and it's all free and and we appreciate your support on that platform as well too so thank you so much everybody we'll talk to you very soon and again we hope everybody stayed safe today with the tornado the touchdown at Fort Erie with the potential tornado the touchdown Ron Park um with all the uh all the wind damage we've heard of today um and potential tornado damage that happened in Ontario um we sincerely hope everybody is okay and of course the possible uh landspout that happened in luk as well based on some of those photos that show that funnel real close to the surface so uh we hope everybody stayed safe we will be back in a little bit with an Alberta stream thank you so much byebye [Music]
