part of the reason I wanted to come to Nebraska was that responsibility you don't necessarily know all that that entails uh but if I could do it again I do it again in a heartbeat because that's I want I want that challenge um that's what you want as a competitor as someone who wants to win and Achieve great things you want those challenges and you want that pressure in a way um you know there's all those cliches out there about pressure and how it's a privilege it makes diamonds and all this stuff the end of the day you just got to just got to grit your way through it you know what I mean you got to go show up and control what you can and for me that's really all I tried to do and it wasn't necessarily easy um I wouldn't say it was ever from the fans uh like I said I I I wanted that challenge and so there was a really high standard for myself you know and when we fell short of that and when I fell short of it you know that hurt it hurt me it felt like more than anybody um because it felt like I let people down you let all these people down that really truly care about the team um so that's where it got tough for me you know when when I wasn't meeting my own standard and I knew it wasn't good enough
