hi everybody Jeffrey gamman I've gotten interrupted twice during this game I'm going to put this together into one broadcast because it looks inevitable that the Pirates are going to clinch the national Le yeast today in our 1969 stratomatic baseball replay and uh I got a call from my daughter-in-law and I got maybe the best news that I've gotten in a very very long time and the key is to take it easy and not get carried away I don't want to share it it's kind of private what that news is I'm going to wait for some people to come on here and create a critical mass verdict has been wanted to share something with you uh I got a call first from my son this morning with big news positive just got a call now from my daughter-in-law with big news positive [Music] uh and uh Bob moose is 6 outs away from a shut out his 15th win and a clinch for the Pittsburgh Pirates and I just wanted to share that news with you um I'm I took another hit stomach is good Kathy Harden now with [Music] change comes uh it could be a double-edged sword so it's very important you know to be careful for what you wish for but with the change that is coming now uh I have both a uh feeling of excitement and apprehension and I'm really savoring this with Bob moose [Music] three famous Chinese curses of increasing intensity number one may you live in interesting times and oh we're doing that and when you're living in interesting times it's both exciting and potentially concerning so I think it's important that you recognize the balance there but I I don't think anyone would doubt that these are interesting times in the US with all that's gone on in the past four days the first vice presidential candidate of a major party in the US with facial hair and a gruesome Bonafide assassination attempt of a former president that's real and uh the second curse and this is one that you can interpret in many different ways but may you be recognized by people in in high places or it's sometimes put may you attract the attention of important people again that has potential excitement and opportunity but brings with it risk but I think the third one is the most important one it is the most profound may you find what you are looking for and I'm going to share these three curses of increasing intensity with my son and daughter-in-law that's also stated as be careful what you wish for I think this these three curses of increasing intensity can teach us lessons or at least help us be mindful of our motives what we really want out out of life in terms of purpose um and to recognize you know there's always a risk and an apprehension about change that's what I wanted to say I've got a beautiful thing going on here I have one Bob moose on the mound six outs away and it's going to be DJ Johnson oh it just came out Kathy Harden that's that's one of the things may you live in interesting times Kathy Harden gold bars and when you look at Menendez who would think that he'd be the most corrupt guy in terms of actual uh Monies of all charges and anyone else would probably see some jail time if if this is his first defense uh he might be able to get off with a highly structured uh parole with ankle monitoring okay he needs to be expelled from the Senate at at once what he did was not only greedy but what he did Kathy was a risk to National Security and what I would do if I were the judge is sentence him I don't know who makes up the the decision for the trial but I I'm a True Believer in least restrictive level but he'd be on parole he'd have ankle monitoring and he would have a very rigorous parole process including mandatory psychological counseling to help him at least in that therapeutic relationship identify what he did why he did it acknowledge it acknowledgment will be an important stage for his recovery and then finally if you really get to acknowledgement then you can work on self-acceptance people like me and maybe you were always going to just think badly of him but for his own well-being and then he should be on parole for the for 10 years after the sentence maybe it would be a 2year ankle monitor I had no reason to put him behind bars if it's First Defense I don't believe in him if it's not violent if you want any Hope For The Individual to not deteriorate and that's my my little uh piece there Cathy now what I'm doing is I'm sitting on a 6 out away situation and I'm just having a fun time with my great news you were here uh we're waiting for the Menendez verdict of course he'll be released on his own recognizance and then there'll be a hearing for sentencing or he's not going to be incarcerated for a nonviolent crime but it is a very uh Kathy you there I want to say it's a very serious cry guilty it's coming out now I want to get my own if you don't mind just post that on uh oh people people are going to tell you things like uh people are always going to tell you [ __ ] like oh you should go
