what a pairing how has it been so far how rehearsals been going you guys have only had one or two rehearsals right yeah two how would you describe rehearsals how would you describe your dancing on a scale from 1 to 10 well I'll let him judge the dancing because he's the professional but uh the rehearsals are definitely intense uh no less than 4 hours so that's a lot of dancing how would you describe how would you describe fed uh impressive very impressive yeah as as you know as an attorney Mortuary preacher not preaching you know she's okay I'll take it she's I mean she's always preaching the good things in life and and uh no she's just super positive hopefully we could add the Dan to the list soon yeah yeah for sure have you given her any advice about being a part of this journey in general or you know the drill uh well you know he has basically not been he's an awesome teacher but he has said you know just be yourself and enjoy it and you know just be vulnerable and so I'm not always good with that is there a song or an artist that you're looking forward to dancing to this season hopefully oh it's quite a few anyone well Whitney Houston would be nice yep definitely we can't we can't give away too many songs okay well here's something I know there's a lot of fun theme nights that happen every season if you could come up with your own theme night for both of you guys what would it be I like eras like the 80s or the 90s I love it a theme party like that I like that I I'm down with '90s '90s hip-hop are do you do you feel like there was any main competitors this season I know the athletes tend to do really well but I also know Jenna is always Jenna and Joey they're always competitors for you Val every season so so how how do you feel like they're going to fair this season I hope they do well it's you know a win for my lady is a win for me so hopefully they'll do do well just not not better than us 100% do you do you guys like help each other out with choreography or is it like strictly when The Season's on It's Like A House Divided no it's it's definitely a house divided but we we cross over sometimes and help each other yeah ad I finally want to ask your uh you're back at Housewives after I think six seasons away so what's it like to be back um it it's been really fun obviously the cast is a little different we've got three newbies and so it's been fun I'm enjoying it we just wrapped season 16 and so it's really going to be something to watch
