Jenna Ortega has been serving Beetle Juice Beetle Juice and more Beetle Juice as she promotes the sequel of the iconic film her latest look is one some of the film's biggest fans are sure to love as it honors a scene from the original on Wednesday August 28th were take a step out at the film's premiere at the 81st Venice International Film Festival on the red carpet the 21- year-old wore a sheer red Dior H Couture number consisting of a heart-shaped top and red tool skirt the look clearly channels the iconic red wedding gown worn by Winona Ryder's character Lydia DEET in the original Beetle Juice you Lydia take this man to be she's a little bit nervous Winona Ryder reprises her role in the Tim Burton sequel playing Ortega's mother the actresses posed together on the red carpet in Italy Winona channeling her own character in a goth tux jacket and vest white button-up and black silk tul skirt earlier in the day Ortega was seen wearing another outfit inspired by the same wedding scene in the 1988 film walking out for a photo call for the film in a custom burgundy Paul Smith suit she channeled Michael Keaton's beetlejuice's wedding suit nobody says the b word come on do you take this woman to be your wedded wife oh jeez I don't know why made it's kind of a big decision isn't it I mean I wish that if I ever did it I was going to do it once and that was it the stars of the film spoke to access about the looks in the original film and Winona the bangs the iconic bangs oh my gosh did you actually was that a wig in the original no that's that's my hair you cut your bangs um yeah I did it uh they they jelled them but I did find a picture recently of me and my brother at like a year before Beetlejuice and I had that I had like bangs blue black did you were manifesting the role you didn't even know it you inspired the role yeah and then of course the red dress H yep what went into styling that and picking that well I didn't have anything to do with I mean that was um that was just Colleen yeah oh no Rogers rers Rogers and Jenna of course you get a without giving too much away you get a bridal dress moment in this movie as well what was it like embracing that moment in this movie oh I mean well everything but I was I just love the image of all three of us together with like these ridiculous huge oversized gowns that were you know different colors it just it looked bizarre up in the church just like this itchy material every day showing up and being like man what are we making yeah I was just glad that I somewhat I wasn't the only one left out oh no yeah after this experience working with with these amazing ladies what do you admire about them oh no don't do that don't make her talk about us please no don't feel don't feel like you have to no but I do feel compelled because they have been so unbelievably generous and nice you can cover your ears if you want but I'm GNA go no I love them I love them I really do I I I've was so familiar with Katherine's work all my life Winona the same some of my favorite films are are things that they were a part of to Legends Giants and um to be able to work with them is an honor but then you know even just these hours these like press days that people even find miserable sometimes I'm like still excited yeah I'm having fun and like I'm I'm excited to spend more time with these people because um they've just been uh unbelievably kind and generous and beautiful towards me and I am incredibly appreciative of who they are and I've learned so much so much [Music] a [Music]
