there is a major meat recall across the United States as there is a leria outbreak happening and we're hearing that there's going to be more illness and more losses of life that are anticipated to unfold as a result of this recall on the meat the outbreak that is happening and I'm going to be sharing with you today the entire list of all the meats so before you bust out today Labor Day happy watch out for as they are saying that this has been spreading now for a couple months and they're saying it just getting worse and I've got an article linked here from USA Today that says expect more illness in leria outbreak tied to borads deli meat food safety attorney says this is the worst set of inspection reports that I have ever seen he said uh attorney Bill maror like I said I'm going to be sharing with you guys the latest so you know exactly what to watch out for um and if you appreciate that do me a favor before I dive in and share with you the recall list take a second hit that like button for me subscribe to stay up to date it's totally free keep you up to speed on everything that is going on and all of my articles that I reference they're going to be linked sice uh cited excuse me sourced in the description down below so you know exactly what to look out for and I see Nicholas is on saying I love your videos thank you so much for the support I will keep you guys up to speed on everything so you know exactly what's going on but today before you dive into that food on Labor Day uh make sure that you check that your food is not on this list right now as we're hearing that there is a major outbreak of leria across various States and they're anticipating it's going to be growing so let's go ahead and get right to it I'm going to read through the article go through the information in here and then let you know the states where we have illness loss of life and also they're saying it's spreading and the list of all the meats so check your meat so uh the article this coming out from USA Today literally just a couple minutes ago says that there is a prominent food safety lawyer that says that illness can be expected and Congress should investigate B's head after deli meat produced in one of the company's plants was linked to an ongoing multi-state leria outbreak the outbreak has led to at least 57 hospitalizations and nine losses of life in 18 states the CDC has said initially reported it back in July on the 19th of July now the CDC as of August 28th is reporting that there have been six new losses of Life connected directly to this outbreak including the first losses of life in New Mexico New York two in South Carolina and also in Tennessee so this is all across the us there will likely be more illness and possibly more losses of life because of incubation periods for leria that may last more than two months so people who consume tainted deli meat in July they could still develop illness said Bill maror a Seattle attorney who specializes in health and food safety now the cdc's investigation found that Meats sliced at Deli counters including bores head brand liver worst were contaminated with leria and made people sick subsequently bores head expanded its recall to include every product made at the facility in Jarrett Virginia so this is not only contaminated those specific ones that had the leria but also others that are being made in the same area are being contaminated in the same processing locations so in other words uh even if one meat was contaminated if it was in that area the other meats that are then being processed in that same location are being contaminated as well from the leria this week inspection reports from the USDA food safety and inspection service revealed that inspectors found insects mold and mildew at the plant for over 12 months because it was voluntarily shut down because of the outbreak this is the worst set of inspection reports that I have ever seen maror told the USA Today Congress should investigate how the leria outbreak arose and why inspectors allowed the plant conditions to exist for so long said maror who is representing the family of one of the people who lost their lives and two others who became very ill in this current outbreak it's crazy Not only was this plant better at producing leria than it was at actually producing meat but also what were the inspectors doing he told USA Today and I'm seeing tons of pictures of meat here from the B's head that they're saying that all of these are are on the recall like I said I'm going to share with you the list here in just a second now borsh head list of recall Deli meets the CDC says it's data found that the meats sliced at the Delhi counters including bores head brand liver worst were contaminated with leria and made people sick after a link was confirmed between the liver worst and the outbreak bores head said back in July the 29th that it voluntarily decided to expand our recall to include every item and product at the same facility of our Li worst we enacted this Broad and precautionary recall totaling 7 million because we believe that it was the right thing to do a list of the recalled products is embedded below and here's where to see the labels of the recalled products so here you go and again this article coming out from USA Today is going to be linked in the description below so if you want to actually just see it for yourself you can click the link and you can go look at it this came out literally minutes ago from the time of this recording today September the 2nd 2024 Labor day but the first category they have it by Meats is ham so let me go through the ham products all products purchased before July 31st of 20124 allnatural Applewood smoked seasoned fresh ham Old Country brand sweet sliced smoked ham and Old Country brand tavern ham and again all of these products uh there's various hams Bacons balone uh frankfurtschool [Music] hold on to these and to me that seems kind of old I'm not really sure I'm not much of a cook myself but I mean it's September 2nd and they're saying though that any of them that were I guess processed prior to that you need to toss them out right now I would suggest that if you have any meats that I just listed uh I'd say regardless probably of the date you probably want to throw it out says the following products were recalled by boardhead on oh excuse me so they were recalled on that date July 29th 2024 after the testing confirmed links between the so yeah I would just say any of those that I named regardless of when you purchased them or when they were processed I would consider not eating them because they said that this uh outbreak uh is causing loss of life and also a lot of sickness and the attorney is saying that they're expecting more of this to unfold um now I see we've got over a thousand people on if you appreciate the list of all of the foods do me a favor hit the like button for me subscribe to stay up to date I'll keep you up to speed on whatever's going on for you guys what did the federal inspector find at the B's head plant well the inspector found insects alive and dead black and green mold milde within the plant in weeks before Bor heads Provisions company in Industries uh issued a July 26 recall for more than 200,000 pounds of liver worst due to potential leria contamination on June 2024 inspectors also saw a steady line of ants on the wall and in February of 2024 found ample amounts of uh uh puddles on the floor of residue from the animals of their blood in the plants raw receiving coolers as well there was also a rancid smell in the coolers it's a layup whether you are a Republican or a Democrat to have Congressional hearings on why this happened and why the fsis inspector let this thing drag on for so long maror said overall the food and safety inspection services filed 69 reports of non-compliance over the past year for the plant the agency's records were first obtained by CBS News through a Freedom of Information Act request USA Today has also made a request for the inspection documents and independently independently confirmed these reports now here is a map that shows which states are affected by leria outbreaks as of today the CDC reports nine people have lost their lives 57 people have come down with sickness across 18 states in the United States by A leria outbreak linked directly to sliced deli meat the following map shows where the 57 people in the leria outbreak lived uh losses of Life have occurred in Illinois New Jersey New York Virginia Florida Tennesse New Mexico and South Carolina states where leria linked to the deli meet were reported map shows where there were 57 people with leria outbreaks tied to B's heads meats and where they lived uh and yeah I can see here Massachusetts New York Pennsylvania New Jersey Delaware Maryland Virginia North Carolina South Carolina Georgia Florida Tennessee Missouri Illinois Indiana Michigan Wisconsin Minnesota New Mexico and Arizona uh excuse me Michigan is not on the list sorry about that um it's I'm I'm looking at a hyperactive map where I have to hover over the different states um and that one actually is not listed but all the other ones that I mentioned are on the list they said 18 in total states where they have already seen illness as a result of bad meat for this recall for the leria outbreak and again if you want to go ahead and take a look at that list because I know there was a lot of them and it sounded very repetitive you can go ahead and take a look at the list but make sure that you do so especially Day Labor Day the last thing you want is to be celebrating with family eating some food and everybody comes down with some sickness so uh please make sure that you check on that especially if you eat the bores head deli meats um they're saying that there has been a major leria outbreak I shared with you the list of all the recalled Meats uh there was balone hams uh Bacons all sorts of different types of meat that you're going to want to check on um and as more comes out on it I'll be sure to share with you guys and again if you want to read the list for yourself it's linked down below so check on those before you dive in today uh just to make sure that you know you and your family are good that you don't get added to this list which this attorney is saying he's anticipating that more people more illness more losses of Life are going to be coming as we've just seen six new people lose their lives as a result of this leria outbreak because the processing location they said just had six 69 different reports of accounts of how it failed to meet uh the regulations the requirements for health and safety they said that there was uh a rancid smell there was insects there was Trails of live ants uh it was just a really really bad growth situation mold was growing there and as a result leria sickness is being spread through these meats and not just the meat that had it was contaminated but now the equipment the processing location all the Meats going through they're saying are um are being infected with this leria that's causing it to spread so please use caution take a look at that this is going to be linked in the description below so that way you can see it for yourself uh and be careful out there but have a blessed Labor Day just check your food before you eat it pray for it before you dive in uh and like I said I will keep you guys up to date on everything now do me a favor I see we've got almost 1100 people live with me if you haven't hit the like button yet but you appreciate the updates I just need 30 more likes that would be 500 that would be awesome uh that just helps spread
