hey everybody welcome back to another God Squad video we've got Al lighter on the bump today he's a lefty he's got a sinker cutter curveball slider and a four seam fast ball take a look at his quirks home body night player stopper pickoff artist the guy looks pretty good with that hits per9 at 108 K9 at 102 the BB9 58 what is that brother uh H home runs per N9 89 but that pitch and clutch goes up to 116 control at 77 not ideal with the V1 the break is looking a little bit better so excited to go ahead and D him here um when it comes to our lineup here we've got Wyatt lingford in left belly in Center expect him on the boys in blue we're going to make his debut in just a couple videos um Jason Dominguez and Wright Josh Bell at first glaber Torres at second Bobby W it at shortstop Ian haap at third Otani in the DH spot and Mike napi behind the plate lineup today is going to be Bobby Whit Ian haap Cody Bellinger Jason Dominguez glar bores sh Otani Josh Bell Mike Napoli W lenford let's hop into it and let's make our debut with Al ligher all right everybody we got mat with our opponent and we are going to be the home Squad my gu's got Nicola Doo Steven Quan Jackson holiday Matt Chapman Carlos Santana Josh Bell Alejandro Kirk Emanuel Rodriguez Jakob Wilson and Hank Thompson kind of a goodlooking team I'm excited to match up against him again we're the home Squad um I did kind of change our Stadium actually this is something I've been I've played at this place a lot in V still doing BR uh we're at the Kingdom I really like playing here I think it's really fun um let's take a look at our records I'm 15 and 13 it's not great my guy is 23 and 45 though hopefully we can go ahead and expose him let's hop into it all right with us being the home Squad Al ligher is going to be making his debut first let's go ahead and start things off with that slider my guy takes it it was a little bit of a late pull down there on the pinpoint um again aler making his debut here up against Steven Quan first batter is going to end in a pop out I'll absolutely take that two pitches is all it takes here's Jackson holiday I want to see if I can pump a fast ball by him here it was a little inside which isn't necessarily what I ordered on that pitch but it did actually work out let's go back door our cutter see if this can land in just misses one in one let's give him that back that that Sinker again that down and in that got Quan and it's going to go ahead and get holiday there all right my opponent's back from a long pause let's give him the curve one two yeah way off the plate two and two not the best curve actually had a lot of bite to it let's go that fast ball Up and Away here two and two fast ball misses three and two I'd rather not walk him let's give him the fast ball up and in see if we can just blow this by him actually he's going to blow it by me it's going to go ahead and be a base hit for Jackson holiday he is going to just keep at first though I do think if he had tried for a double he would have been out I went out single for holiday so if you were looking for a no hitter today not going to happen here is Matt Chapman 97 overall takes the Sinker there let's give him that slider down and in give me a ground ball double play at least he went one and one factor cutter down and down and Away looking to take off with holiday here and it is a it's a perfect steal all right so one and two though as that did land in for a strike let's give him the curve yeah he swung a shoot everyone's going to be safe I threw over to Third and it was a bad idea it's a strike out but it's a wild pitch Runner still at first only one out may be a really bad idea here's Carlos sintana 11199 on the attributes I think I would have gotten a holiday would have been safe at first so it's a really good steal there unfortunately Carlos anano lays down a beautiful bunt not ideal we're down one we're down one but two outs runner at second here's Josh Bell 0 and one there kind of kind of scored on some cheese there I didn't love that 0 and two 0 and two let's give him the uh let's give him the slider again this might dust him off instead he's just going to go ahead and foul it off o and two again let's give him the curve see how he wants who wants to react to this pitch was a little higher than I wanted it to be but it will serve as out number three unfortunately we give up a run I don't even know that was some some silliness there but we're down one let's hit all right I got Bobby Whit leading off this is Nicolo Sinker slider forcing fast ball in a circle change let's see where he goes here first pitch swing and Bobby with 96 off the bat get over the wall get over the wall first pitch Homer Bobby Whit Jr goes deep and we are tied again tied out one here is Alejandro Kirk let's give him that Sinker down and away my opponent was showing kind of a good eye in that first inning and first pitch Swinging with Alejandro Kirk is going to be a first pitch single 26 speed at least I'm Not Afraid about that I don't think he'll try and steal here good hit on that Sinker let's give him another one this one's Emanuel Rodriguez and Emanuel Rodriguez is going to pump this to the wall but it's going to be foul 0 and one ball was crushed let's give him another Sinker but this one a little bit lower see if he bites he does bite and it works perfectly it is going to be a double play I'll take that I thought he would bite because you know it's the third Sinker I've thrown in a row um and it was just a little bit deeper so I was glad to go ahead and get that double play here's Jacob Wilson my guy's hitting 302 with this card first pitch curve ball and one and he's going to go ahead and fly out to belly and Center I'll take the nice little one two three inning thanks to the Double Play Let's It here's HK Thompson let's give him uh let's give him that inside Sinker again throwing this a lot but this one's going to be really inside and he does offer 0 and one let's give him that slider doesn't does really look like the shift is on oh and two as he went and let's give him that curve and we're going to go ahead and get him swinging he was showing that bunt for a bit trying to cheese I got him to swing and Miss on that curve ball here's Steven Quan again popped out on the second Pitch of the game so far I am kind of liking this out lier card I like that he's a lefty I like that he's got five pitches just got to figure out you know my pitch mix with him um on what kind of sequencing that I would like to do with this card one down on a strike out here's the O2 to Steven Quan another curveball that was going to land in the zone 106 off the bat just going to be a single it's a good swing good swing it was a bad pitch so I'm just glad it kept it to a single all one and know I'm going to give him that Sinker that's very hitable one and one not really where I wanted that pitch let's give him another one here give me another Double Play It's not a perfect throw and I do def I think it was Steven Quan would be out at second he advances on the wild pitch playing with fire looking like he's going to try and go to third Jackson holiday he's going to be safe at first just the the defense was not there Mike Napoli taking a sweet time trying to get that ball he's liking this bunt cheese I'm not about it and Chapman goes deep we're down 4-1 yikes not where I wanted that fast ball we're down by three 9077 on the attributes here again I'm late on the pitch is that going to get down it's not diving catching right what a play we're down 4-1 still we got another hit but couldn't do anything with it again really nice diving catch out and right um that's a Hank Thompson there let's pitch and he's going to start things off with another base hit on that first pitch just like he did back in the second another first pitch single one1 off the bat he's really seen the sinkro well so I think I'm going to lay off that pitch good slider by me there let's go a little bit lower look going to steal with Alejandro Kirk what are you doing yeah I got you one down strikes him out alider picks up a strike out that is number four on the day I'll take that we're still down by three here's Jacob Wilson two down nobody on let's give him a slider here he went I never get that call one and know shows bunt for a second he going to go and put that on the ground for Ian H 78 speed not going to be enough a one two three inning I'll take it let's hit how about let's not give him a fast ball Up and Away unless white lanford's got that he does two down back to- back pitches here's Jackson holiday again has been just giving us so many problems this game two for two two singles two runs first pitch Sinker 0 and one I would love nothing more than to go one two three here and get Jackson holiday out shows bunt lays off I don't know about that blue let's give him a fast ball see if he wants to go for that bunt again he's not he's going to go ahead and just shoot that over to glabber Torres and nice one two three inning let's let's hit and a perfect perfect from Josh Bell 103 off the bat I'm pretty sure this is going to go and it is a 4-2 game now as Josh Bell goes deep a perfect perfect 4116 on the distance I will absolutely take that top of the six Now Matt Chapman one for two with a three run home run in his last at bat in a first pitch ground out I wish we could have had that in his last time up but uh it's kind of been the difference in this game so far here's Carlos Santana that three-run shot from Matt Chapman was nasty first pitch swinging on that cutter just shoots that foul way out in front I don't know why you'd want to bunt with Carlos Santana got him looking there two our Josh Bell went deep in the last inning here is his Josh Bell he's 0 for two let's make that 0 for three that would be huge have a nice one two three inning here kind of hung a slider it's going to go foul that one W and we are going to get him swing in a strike out uh Josh Bell from Al ligher one two3 inning we're down two let's go back to hitting in the bottom of the six with two three and four coming up has me out in front on a fast ball actually the first time this game I've been early on that and he let that drop no way what just happened he was goofing out there and it's going to be 4 to three I came all the way from first I'm so confused that's what you get for goofing out there pal all right here's Alejandro Kirk he's two for two with two singles on first pitch sinkers let's give him another one this one goes foul I really wanted that to be a ground ball out 0 and one 70th pitch from alider coming up here I do have movement in the pen as Alejandro Kirk is going to shoot that in the left Wyatt Langford makes a nice play 99 off the bat was not enough to get B by a Wyatt lenford there here's Emanuel Rodriguez 0 for two again like I said I do have the bullpen moving for when out lier gets tired got Raleigh fingers up in there I did get him in the XP reward path 95 overall relief pitcher not a great fast ball really wanted that to be a little bit more inside let's actually see if I can land that where I wanted it here and that is what I was looking for Bobby wht's going to make the play two down here's Jacob Wilson up again with two outs I feel like his last two at bats have been up with two outs a cutter there is going to go ahead and foul that one off way out in front let's give him a sinker below the Zone he's going to go ahead and shoot that in the right Jason Dominguez will collect three up three down in the seventh I think three up three down the last couple Innings here so we're down one tied up on hits 789 coming up let's T this game Let's Take the Lead well we're in the eighth inning of work for Al ligher his energy is officially in the yellow Hank Thompson looking to go through the lineup for the third time here oh and one again probably going to go ahead and take alider out pretty soon we do have Raleigh fingers in the pen and somebody else honestly don't remember who it is ow and two there let's go ahead and let's give him the curve I haven't thrown a curve in a while we love a nice little three pitch strike out here and we are going to go ahead and get that I'll take it one down back to the top of the lineup in Steven Quan here seven strikeouts for out lier again a pretty good debut it was just that three-run shot from Matt Chapman that has really been the difference um you know he scored in the first and it was a little it was a little cheese my guy has been cheesing all over this game um again just unfortunately did not get that fast ball as inside as I wanted it to was a little more on the plate and he did take it deep again to get that three-run shot but you know a strike out and a ground out here two down here is Jackson holiday again has kind of been that main focal point of the cheese all those bunts all those Steals and he is going to go ahead and ground out to Bobby Whit Jr a one two3 inning let's hit in the bottom of the eth all right here is Matt Chapman again one for three with that three run home run that has given my opponent the lead that he's been holding on to alider picks up a ground out there again out lier is really close to be going a complete Game we're in the ninth inning we have one out four and five still guaranteed and it's just going to be five guaranteed as Carlos Santana will fly out on the next pitch two down here in the ninth again looking like it's going to be a complete game from alider hopefully we can just make something happen in the bottom of this inning here is Josh Bell 0 for three first pitch slider crushes that but it goes foul 0 and one had way out in front let's give him a sinker here keep it down fouls it off 0 and two let's give him the Curve again that energy for out lier starting to get in the red dangerous curve but we do pick up a strike out there nice one two three inning we have more hits but he's got more runs five and six and seven coming up here let's make it happen and that's going to go right back up the middle we have a base runner I will absolutely take that it'll be 50 speed on first base I am going to go and take gabber Torres out I'll have a l on hunia on on first base 91 speed he's got 99 steel not sure how I want to I don't think I want to try and steal second here ow and two on Otani good fast balls again just gets it by us I should not be swinging oh my gosh one-on-one gone here is Josh Bell went deep in the fifth I do believe he's better as a lefty hitter what I was late on that what are you talking about I thought I Ed it up perfectly 0 and one good slider there there 0 and two had me way out in front Josh Bell down to his last strike no way gets us looking I really thought that was going to be a ball and it's down to Mike Napoli going to try and steal second here and I'm out and that ends the game that's really tough 99 speed we go down we lose this game four to three yikes again we do get more hits than my opponent but he does get just one more run match at play of the game out lier complete game and we're just just close just not enough which is kind of been the problem in our last few games we're out 15 and 14 in rank that's really bad let's close this one out all ligher goes parallel one there Ian hap goes parallel one pick up a show pack along the way somewhere but uh not the best game unfortunately we do lose unfortunately it's only by one run at least it wasn't a blowout Al ligher goes nine complete Innings picks up eight strikeouts Bobby with Junior picks up his first Homer of the year the team was looking okay I don't love it yet I do think I want to end up changing out Mike Napoli I just don't know what it is I don't love him so I'm going to go Ahad and make a change put kebert Ruiz at the behind the plate switch hitter good contact okay Power good clutch uh so hopefully we can change things around there cuz again I'm just not really feeling with Mike Napoli I never have um in the previous years so we're going to stick them on the bench for now um
