it's time to trick your opponents it's time to trick your friends I'm going to show you the best trick plays in EA Sports college football 25 now these are sprinkled around a ton of different playbooks and not everybody knows where to find all these trick plays so I'm going to break them down for you and let you know exactly which playbooks you can find these plays in the first play we got to start with is the reverse Flea Flicker out of the gun y trips offset week formation these are all of the playbooks up on screen where you can find this play now this is a play that's going to work almost every time against most defenses but especially Zone defenses the B is going to get handed to the running back he's going to hit a reverse to the receiver and then the receiver is going to pitch it back to the QB and then you have a post route over the top that'll usually be wide open for a huge play and possibly even a touchdown like we just got right here now if you want to stop this play all you have to do is just send a heavy Blitz at the offense because it'll hit the players before they have a chance to pass the ball the next play we have to look at is the motion double pass out of the split slot off set formation now here are all the playbooks where you can find this play also note this play is going to be better if you use a team as a running back with some good throw power like Arkansas does they're going to pass it to the running back and then if the defense is in a Zone they're going to bite on this a lot of the time and you can go up top for a one plate touchdown this is something you should definitely sneak in at least once a game now what makes this play kind of glitchy is that you can also take off and run with the running back and the defense kind of stops they don't really play him it kind of dumbs out the defense a little bit so this is a two-way trick play that's kind of crazy now don't worry I'll teach you how to stop the Glitchy part of it in a second but I want you to note the other plays in this form that all have the same Auto Motion so you can build an entire scheme around that trick play and I especially love this play here where it's a slip screen going to the opposite direction so if you get your opponent over playing the running back because of the pass you can sneak in some of these other really good plays you also got run plays that are built off the same motion as well that go to the other side of the field and again you've got numerous pass plays as well so you can really make it tough on your opponent to defend a formation like this especially when you have a double pass play now if you want to stop the double pass play one thing to note is if you run a man defense the man defense will typically stick with the streaks they will not bite down like Zone but the problem is we can still take off and run with the running back if it's man defense so to stop this what you want to do is run a cover two hard flat or you could run a regular cover two and just shade it down and what's going to happen is the flat zone is going to come all the way down you just got to click on and make a tackle really quickly I do want to mention that I do have a membership where I post my ebooks my highest level offensive and defensive strategies these have been tested and proven online I'm even currently 11 and0 in my current college football playoffs season online so if you want to win some more games check out the link in the pin comment below the next play we're looking at is the double pass rail out of the shotgun trips formation here are all the formations where you can find this play and once again having a receiver or a running back in this spot that has some throw power is going to be very helpful it's going to pass it to your slot receiver and then you're going to try to hit the running back going over the top putting a fast running back here will also be very helpful and this can beat any defense this is another one of those plays it's cool if you can sneak it in once a game because it's not going to be expected but just like the the other double pass you can take off and run with this guy as well because the defense kind of gets confused by the fact that this guy is technically supposed to be a quarterback now to stop this what I like to do is run cover zero blitzes I find that it stops it just like this pretty often so I'll run something like mid Blitz or just any cover zero Blitz out of nickel and the main Defender should come down and Tackle him for a loss next we have to look at the Wildcat unbounded formation and this is one of the best formations in the game right now and we're going to look at the jet reverse pass what's going to happen here is our player is going to come in motion from the outside is going to take the ball from the running back he's going to pitch it to the QB and then we're going to have two routes that we can bomb over the top pretty consistently against most coverage but especially Zone coverages it's going to eat versus that every time now let's take a look at the play again and we're going to hit the tight end this time he's also another really good option on this play and as you can see these plays are huge gains if not touchdowns because the defense bites really hard on the fact that we are handing it off and they think it's supposed to be a run play but what makes this formation great is there's other great plays in this formation like the Jet Sweep and the motion zone so the Jet Sweep is the same motion but we can just go to the outside for some big gains that way so the defense can't really completely sellout versus the run or the pass because these other plays are really good as well so really if you want to stop Wildcat you do definitely want to try to Blitz it heavy and get back there with your user but I'm not going to lie this is a pretty tough formation to stop in college football 25 hey really quickly if you're enjoying this content and you're not subscribed yet you might as well subscribe and join the family cuz you're basically already a part of the family anyway that way you could stay up to date with the best college football tips all year long up next is the reverse so the first one is in the gun Wing trips week formation and what's going to happen here is the ball's going to go to the running back and he's going to flip it to the slot receiver coming around the other way you definitely want a fast receiver here or a fast running back in that slot because you're going to have to run really East West A lot of times to get around Defenders and you're going to want the most speed possible to do that now the other reverse is in the Y trips week formation it's basically the same type of play it's just a slightly different formation and it's in some different Playbook now here I've put my running back in the slot who can also Juke very well so this can be really deadly if you put a really good athletic guy there that has juking abilities and good speed like Oklahoma's running back and what's great about those reverses is that there's going to be a regular running play that plays off of this so we can run this outside Zone here and we can really make it tough on our opponents now when talking about reverses we also have to mention the DIY reverses which are a little different and they're a little tricky so you're going to want to practice them now these are in a ton of different playbooks and if you want to find if your playbook has this what you're going to want to do is go to concept go to run and then you want to tab over to reverse if you have reverses they'll be here so a DIY reverse is something that we're going to get in practice mode for this because these are a little tricky basically you have an option here you can take it with the guy that gets the ball first or you can decide to hand it off and run the reverse so this is a stretch play that has a reverse built in so if we want we can just take the stretch with our running back if we see the hole there and we want to run it or what we can do is we can press the lb or L1 button and we can hand it to the other guy here now these are are really hard to pull off smooth it's something you got to practice and you got to pull out at the right time here's another example this is a halfback direct snap that also has a DIY reverse built in so we took the direct snap on the first play and now here we're going to hand off the reverse and we're going to break it for some big yards now Arizona and Air Force are two playbooks that definitely have a good amount of these reverses and the best way to run it in my opinion is when you go to hand it off you want to let go of the left stick completely when you go to hand the reverse off because that way the computer can take over for a split second and you can have a smooth transition and then you can take over after a few steps and you can take it and run for some big yardage the next play I want to go over is the motion tight end mid screen out of the Trey open off set found in Georgia and Colorado States playbooks now I don't know if this is technically a trick play but to me it it kind of sets up like a trick play and it's very hard to stop mid screens are very good in this game and this is one of the few tight end mid screens that are actually really really good so you have the running back going outside and then the tight end will fake outside and then run back inside behind his blockers now now what else is great is this formation has that same motion for other plays so typically the defense is going to run with the running back here a user is going to think you're running this play more often than not because this is a play a lot of people use and it's very good and then you've also got this pass play that you can mix in as well and that makes this formation really really hard to stop but the beauty of this midscreen is that most people are going to expect the running back to get the ball they're never going to expect the tight end to fake outside and then run back inside the tight end looks as if he's going to block for the running back which is the popular play that people use with this motion but instead he comes back in and he has a convoy of blockers to pick up big yards up next is the pitch wide receiver reverse out of single back bunch and single back Bunch nasty you want a fast guy here because this is a play that if you don't have speed it's not going to work very consistently but this is a great play because the defense is expecting the running back to get the ball on the toss but they're actually tossing it to the receiver but you also have the regular toss play that complement this which is a really good run so this is a really nice one-w punch up next we have the halfback pass out of the iPhone Pro found in the Louisville and Wyoming playbooks now this is another play where if you have some throw power at the running back position it's going to work a little bit better but really what I like to do here is try to hit this Crossing route if it's a zone defense this can work pretty well and just like the other trick pass plays you can take off with the running back the defense will ignore you momentarily this one isn't as powerful as the others though but I like to sneak this in versus Zone defenses because you can sneak some passes in there and it's kind of more of something just to use for fun now if you want to stop the fact that the running back can take off and run just put your defense in a contain by pressing RB or R1 twice contains will lock this up and Sack it for a loss every single time now that you know about all of the best trick plays in the game you need to learn about the best defense in the game so that you can get some stops and you can check out that video right here on the screen
