the race committee we have completed the wind sampling and this race is live so we are good to go for this fourth race between lunaa pelli and New York club's American magic the Italians will come in on Port at 2 minutes and 10 seconds the Americans and starbo at 2 minutes and to Echo what Franchesco bruny said post race when we were looking at how good bers he said she's back boy does she look like she's back both teams looking on time for their entries some stage little more Breeze now than before little more chop so expect to see some looseness some high speeds near 50 knots all good all good coming down they came in hot didn't they but they in clean problem lunar Rosa into the start box rolling down green light for American magic in a must win situation and turning on to keep the these two yeah an even start but what impressed me is how lunar Rossa still reduced the gauge before they got to that left hand lay line and then when the boat out of the tack Luna Russa to me accelerate a little bit better and that's pushed them into a strong advantage in that weather position as they go over setting up for the next cross expect got 50 on starbo the on [Music] the numbers you can right nowh really to go standby or down here in three 2 1 [Music] costly there's extra Maneuvers feels good there about 7 to 8 knots of even in these conditions full power to full power little f down going through the ey the wind there no power back into the power again of the rig so it's basically a big lift off the accelerator as you're going up a hill effectively like you would be in a car and then you have to put your foot flat to the floor again heico PR with an almost identical track to the first race they said one and in and it was one in last time it's one and in this time American magic you just gained a little bit little bit on that upward leg but it will be lunar Rosa prelli at the top gate for the first time they'll take that left Mark as you see it right for them and American magic will take the opposing Mark and follow them around only 6 seconds nothing got really tight race here and really nice theer too indicating that there's just a slight advantage to the Italian team more pressure at the bottom of the course at the moment near the bottom gate so both teams having to execute clean siling at Max performance [Music] James right here Sor truly on the red tight question sitting in my head is how do they get back into this well they're certainly not giving up the chase that is 100% sure and they just need to keep it tight keep the pressure on the Italian team they're doing a really good job hang a little to the right so I think just right being increase in pressure one here stand down here I ly Red Ball racing coming that just over 43 knots at the bottom they take the left hand Mark as you see it oh rough out there that's a big big skid there using the bule to rip the boat you see the wash of the Italians there not their best rounding though wishing they had a g on the two board option there but they didn't took it on much tighter rounding by the Americans back in the game little moment that's what the cup is all about little [Music] moments just all that mass inertia trying to go in a straight line around those corners and just asking too much of those skinny little foils to take that extra lad 3 2 1 on board the chase boat for American magic coach Tom burnup rejoins us gains Tom gains must be fairly B confident W it's always good to get around the L Mark and have a good rounding so that definitely helps it's you can see how hard it is it's we're both got caught up on it today so far so you know it's nice to uh hopefully capitalize on a little mistake but they're still sailing really well those guys in lunar Rosa so it's a tough one keep battling do you feel you can get them oh yeah definitely feel like we can get them no question we're definitely in this game and we just got to we got to get a couple get a point up on the board here hopefully and uh keep keep working hard tomorrow hey coach the boat looks like it's going well what did you say to them at half time uh they they uh just uh you know reinforcing a little bit of the modes they were sailing and how the the speeds up wind and then uh just talking about how they're they're maneuvering well and just to keep keep uh working on it but uh you know made a little adjustment on that L Mark rounding timings on how things were going and uh it seemed to work out well there the guys had a nice left turn with two boards thanks Tom thank you 20 to boundary yeah ghost Bo options here simul 13 to boundary too much on off of there or down here in three 2 one and turning going yeah there it is sure one of the design criteria that the American team have looked at obviously going for the com cing position but it's just the low profile H being able to be a little wider on the and a little lower on their right he compared to some of the other teams so these slightly windier conditions I think potentially can suit the Americans it's going to chase zero with pet Le the Americans much better in this race Pete do you think they can them it's not that there's not much between them really solid in the right back teams are evenly matched look this is coming down to those small meters after that Top Mark rounding first time American magic had a a touch Ando touchdown which was a little bit costly for them uh which took out the the Delta to 11 seconds at the bottom mark But then uh lunar Russell proud of rally did that skid so that was really two little Errors By both teams that pulled it all back together but I've still got a speed advantage to Luda Rosell PR pelli on the second woman to beat thinking now we would one [Music] down bouncing there stand ready for a new set of pissing and Rings after this race for sure we talk about efficiency of racing execution to David we've seen already one small error they made an error American magic and the opening race at that bottom gate cost them dearly will we see the same from Lun early will they make an ER that is SK last rounding still not much between these two Vates L Ro team will be looking out the window going these guys just aren't going away still putting a lot of pressure on the Italian American magic so one little wobble or slip up here by the Italians see a both boards down playing it safe in these conditions and away they go leag number five two to go g to the Americans on that downwind surely absolutely flat to the floor ripping through the gears G here showing the American team slight gain there little more pressure and potentially better angle out on this left hand side so this race far from over if they can just keep the foot flat on the floor and keep the grip in the water I'll be in the hunt take pressure on the Italians we're closer closest we've been all race guys this he's coming back he's across close let's go Lun R's chase boat Coach Philip pry this one's a little bit tighter Philip did really tight and we did a little bit of mistake um the previous U botom Mark and that cost us uh a couple of second and now now they're back in the in the hunt the USA we don't want to do any mistakes because they're going to be on us for sure I'd love to know what you're looking at to come up at the moment I'm looking at the boat just in front of me we we're watching we're watching uh obviously we have information about the the wind on the field and uh we're listening to the comps and uh try to to see if there's any uh any uh dysfunction fun in the decision process and so I need to watch The Breeze watch the boat and that's what I'm doing um pH just listening to the comms from the boat I mean big ask on the Cyclones it feels right on the limit of having enough enough oil to be able to execute the Maneuvers I want the edges yeah inde did uh pretty much at the bottom Mark where when we we we did a two one board round up and uh that was really unstable when the boat gets unstable you have to stabilize the boat with the cils and uh that's that's where you ask a lot for the Grinders or the cyclers uh because you know you need everything to resettle the boat and have the boats in in the proper setting so yeah this is really tricky you know the the power level is just at the edge appreciate the insides phip you're welcome i' got to say we're pretty privileged to talk to the coaches while they're trying to look at what's going on and uh their charges are charging up the race course on leg number five of six he's out Lally only seconds now in this race Americans 100% breathing down the neck of the Italian team the coach has not being able to talk to the Yachts while racing his in progress too just for the viewers they have to disconnect the coms before the prart so no communication allowed under the rules and tur also aggressively protecting the right hand side of the track it's closing up if you remember the first race of the semile between these two it wasn't until leg five that lunar Ross got the lead because American met had come out of the gate fly could we see the same thing yeah we're going to go on a lay line comfortable L line here rolling up ACH R happy to set up there 2 one [Music] Rosa final tack to the top gate for the last time look who is coming at PACE them it comes American magic Wow they've picked up some some gas coming in and this will be the last leg heading home race four between these two in the Louis Von cup semifinals have American magic got something in the tank Americans have to be brave here and keep pushing the boat hard and fast Z nothing to lose here for them they just got to keep sending it hard shoulders back and go let's go to Chase Z what do you think last leg American magic have had a really strong second half to this race initially I thought uh well they' had another one of those little touchdown jbes on America's magic how costly is that going to be I was giving them a bouet but that last jve was a bit of a slider American magic is certainly in the hunt with this [Music] one this next cross really really CR critical for the race and really close here Magic on hug here man a bit tight for the CIO at the moment may try a lock down if he does probably roll out your board then yeah no just be a normal super [Music] cool it ch nice Shi to us going the yes we'll be a drag race to the finish here for both teams How brave are they going to be to pushy well they got to be bravey they have to be they're not brave here and can't get the win they're 0 and four down and that America's Cup dream start a waver can't not all way down here on lunar roelli that's not their best job the Italians didn't get the board all the way down so games back to the Americans here this is going to be B and B American magic right of where big push boys big boys final quarter of the last leg in a race four magic with the green have right away have they got enough speed they go to snatch one yeah good everything trim down here possible protest so Lun relli get the win and a close win at that wow two seconds the Italian fans go wild and they go 4 and0 in the Louis won cup semi finals woo how good was that some burning kneecaps at the moment from both teams be sucking in the big here I don't know it got stuck at 35 wonder if was or not but it just stopped pumping there confirmation of probably the tightest race we've had this whole regata 2 seconds a 2C win to Luna Rossa PR that 2 seconds means Four Points one to go and there in the Louis Vuitton Cup Final there is the number green green green green means go red means stop and are the Americans on their way out
