here we go here we go um so um what do we got we've got Anana first up um Manchester is red says commentators also said xery and Rasmus are the same crazy absolutely crazy isn't it I've got the wrong thing here right I'm ready to go player ratings and uh we're going to go with Anana I'll give him a 6.5 yeah so that's good I agree so your average score is 6.5 I agree I agree with that one I think that you could give him a six if you wanted to you're lying if you're going to give him a seven but I think a 6.5 is probably about right made a good save from their shot from the edge of the box I would say actually just just it doesn't really matter tonight but set pieces they won a lot we had a lot of set pieces and we did nothing with them they had a lot of set pieces and won a lot of front post headers so we've still got a lot to work on we were terrible at them last year so there's still a little lot to work on um you could give him a seven I think that's slightly generous I'd give him a 6.5 uh Maz RI for me I'd give him a seven um I agree with that I thought that um to come into a game two days after signing for Manchester United um a challenging game at Old Trafford I think that um I was very impress impressed with how he performed and um didn't put a foot wrong and it might get forgotten because it was the first game game of the season but I think that there was a point in the game when quite early on Fulham got in down our right hand side he cut it back and I was like I've seen this movie before midfielders coming at us in waves and uh mazwi just got in there and made what was a goal changing tackle I thought it was brilliant so I think you've got to give credit to a player that's only been here for two days who plays that amounts of minutes and uh he looked comfortable um look I hope I hope that continues because if it does we've made a very very good signing for a very very good price uh you give them 7.1 seven for me I can't give s. ons uh Martinez to be honest with you today I'd probably give Martinez a six um yeah uh maybe a 6.5 actually 6.5 we've won the game I I think that uh for me Martinez is um yeah the probably not matchfit if I'm being honest um 6.5 is probably about right I like the way he will always try and bring the ball out from the back I like the way he will always give absolutely everything but I think he will have better days in a Manchester United shirt I don't think he was bad but I don't think he was you know one of the best players on the pitch and I think at times there was a rustiness there that you won't see in two or three games like there was a couple of times where he got run past and I thought you know that's just that's just match Fitness really so I give him a 6.5 uh Maguire I'm tempted to give him a seven I'm going to give him a 6.5 um yeah I can't I can't I can't I can't find fault with his performance actually and I don't think he deserved the yellow card but the defensive line is is the is the fly in the ointment for me and I think that's why I can't give him a seven because mazwi and delo were part of the press they really got up but the defensive line was too deep and look if ten hog was moaning about it he was absolutely correct I'm not about to give two Center back s out of 10 when the defensive line is that deep because either you acknowledge part of the problem with that performance or you ignore it and pretend that the solution's already on the pitch the solution's not on the pitch that defensive line is too low they did a good job but you're ignoring The High Line if you're going to give him sevens in my opinion so 6.5 Maguire had a good game 6.5 Martinez had a good game but that defensive line was shockingly low and it it's got to be higher up the pitch and we're either going to are we trying to be better this year or are we trying to just go oh individually a good game like we've got to look at where the issues are and if we play that deep against Brighton next week we're inviting pressure away from home we'll get slaughtered uh Delow for me gets a seven six I thought Delow was a seven I love doing the player ratings six I thought the was a seven I really did I thought that filling in at left back again Ain't Easy um I thought that you know he he put a tremendous amount of work in and again he was massively part of the press as well I thought the fullbacks were really important I said it before the game maybe it was subtle to some people I thought it was I thought it was obvious but maybe it wasn't the amount of work the fullbacks did to support that press was really really important and the amount of running you've got to do in that system as a fullback I I think Delow was a seven for me because I actually think they were part of the positive press that we were trying to do whereas Martinez and Maguire were just dropping off a little bit and I I didn't like that uh Kazmir for me is a difficult one with casmiro because I think in the final third is a massive threat and I think in the defensive area is a liability but he grew into the game he was better in the second half so I'd probably give him a seven um uh I nearly went 6.5 but he was involved in a lot in the final third and that passed to Bruno that's that's an assist and it's and it's and it's a brilliant assist he can't that that pass was just unbelievable and I think Kazmir at the moment in the final third is really really good defensively there was a few times where he's just not on the screen tracking back there was point in the second half and I'll argue this with anybody there's a point in the second half where they end up with a 5v2 and the people who are trying to run back I think a Mayu and Martinez and Kazmir is not even there and that's the problem we can lie to ourselves but his legs are gone and as a number six that's going to be problematic it will still be but I'd still give him a seven I thought you know the quality is still there but I definitely think we need to acknowledge that we need this six to come in because we're going to need at home it'll be all right but there'll be certain games where you know it's going to be tough um Mayu for me was a seven I thought um a comfortable seven who just tied in the second half he was my man of the match at half time at halim Mayu was my man of the match the amount of high recoveries he made was incredible I just think he ran out of steam he was gassed in the second half but his he's he's close control his his work ethic he he his intelligence in the Press is just so important and you know I'd say Kazmir I'd say Mayu today was probably playing on a 80% Fitness like once he gets up again it's going to be it's going to be he's going to be so important for us this season I was very happy with Manu he just ran out of steam and in the first game of the season you know if that was like the middle of December you'd say why is he running out of steam but first game of the season you can understand it um rashford for me today look you could be generous you could be generous here you could be an ass I choose to go in between I give him a six um I I wouldn't be surprised if some people gave him a 6.5 I would be surprised if some people gave him a five um it was a very average performance at best um look I I I desperately want more and it and and ten hog desperately wants more and I think most man united fans want more and at times it feels like ten hog is keeping him on the pitch hoping that he'll score and the confidence will come but it's it's a very average performance it's you you know if he wouldn't have looked out he wouldn't have looked out a place on the wing for Everton you know it was like we're Manchester United we do need more than that um is it another stepping stone for match Fitness it could be you know Mayu Fel ran out of steam so you you can say that but if that is a performance from our from from Marcus rashford that justifies a seven or a 6.5 then we we really are in trouble we need more than that and look can I just say as well it's Mason Mount next Ahmad ain't getting any higher either so I said it a half time I'll say it again rashford's performance is no worse than ahmad's you know this is not about agenda toxicity or anything like that we're judging them on the game it was an average performance from rashford and it was an average performance from Ahmad neither of them played particularly well of course there's a rich tapestry behind them and I'll say it right now I want ammad on the right and I want gach on the left because they are the future and I think they're better than rashford but on tonight's performance there's no difference between am Amad and rashford um obviously ten Hog's always going to sub Amad and not rashford but there wasn't anything between them in my opinion tonight uh Mason mount's difficult you know um Gano really frustrated me f he went to ground too easy what is the game Matt what is the game if that's frustration he can frustrate me every m match he makes things happen uh Dylan says xery was the first signing we've made with scouting in a vision to work with the manager plans they'll be delighted says Dylan great to win the first match performance needs to be better says Ram Maguire 6 he was better than Delow and Martinez uh this feels like an agenda rewatch The match I didn't give Maguire a six go go to spec Savers and and get some glasses I didn't give him a six I said 6.5 I can't do 05s so if I click six it's 6.5 if I say it or I'll say it's a six if I click seven I might be giving them a 7.5 I can't do Point FES so you're just not listening mate um don't worry someone will take it out of context and clip it anyway sados um right Mason Mount is a difficult one six for me um it has to be a six um because he should have scored and he was in and out of the game but you know what his work rate I sort of worry about Mount because I just don't know where he's going to fit in at man united it's way too early to have this conversation but where does he get a place in this team people will say there's no way back for Sancho there is a way in for Mount I just don't know where it is I don't know where it is he works really hard but I just don't I don't know where it's going to go I don't know where it's going to go he pressed really well Jay Arnold's right he pressed really well but I I I don't know there has to be more you know much the same as rashford's performance there's got to be more than that it can't we can't just say he pressed well like there's got to be more than that opening game of the season hopefully he can build on it look Ahad I've already spoken about it it's got to be a six it's a shame um we got to get the ball to him more I think it was a difficult job for the Wingers tonight because when you're playing Bruno and rash Bruno and mount there's no Striker to play for the fullbacks didn't overlap so it was difficult for the Wingers tonight it was um and you know ahad's worked so hard in preseason to start a game is he going to lose his place now in a game where there wasn't a lot of Joy but um I still think ahad's a really important player for us but tonight it has to be a six uh Bruno is difficult really really difficult um I think that uh yeah I mean look he's had three good chances two of them he's got a score he never stops running you know he's always involved in the game um we all love Bruno um and yeah I I I I'd go 6.5 um we will be Invincible says Ken well we are at the moment and we're top of the league everyone needs shooting boots on casmiro and Mai shouts for man of the match ah man of the match is gonna be very interesting uh Liam says Leandro was interviewed by Keen Johnny Evans uh would be a six anyway did come on gacho for me7 came on created the goal makes things happen how you can give gacho a 5.9 is Gano now one of those player FC things where there's some knobbed out there spreading hate about gacho how do you give gacho a 5.9 is one the game you mugs so now creative players have to be 100% accurate with everything they do do you know what a flare player is they make things happen they might miss an open goal they might not get a free kick but they make things happen he's wers the game with that cross and he's getting a 5.9 hell I I despair I absolutely despair so gacho's got a lower score than Ahmad and rashford and mount hell gono a strong six he's just won as the game mate oh God get me out of here uh Momin six xery seven lovely goal lovely goal um I might shock a few people here actually my man of the match is xery you know why xerx is my man of the match because I still see that finish and I don't know how he did it and if he doesn't do it it's nil nil where is the other chance in that game the only chance the only reason gacho gets that chance is because we're winning one nil and Fulham have gone for it if he doesn't score that goal we don't win that game and that finish every time you watch it you think something else happens it's just brilliant brilliant finish and it's it's it's quality he's my man of the match because he's the match winner it's a wonder goal he wners the game if he doesn't do that we don't win the game so three points calmness bit of momentum a game we have to win because his X's finish and gacho's cross so for me um he is my man of the match there's no doubt about that 100% man of the match um delit six Anthony didn't come on six and the manager tonight I would say um one minute here getting hot for fan for him after this um I don't think xery will get man of the match uh ten hog for me tonight is going to be a um 6.5 yeah 6.5 6.5 man of the match sorry 6.5 um manager um there was an element of luck but he won the game the xery sub worked we kept a clean sheet we had the best chances it wasn't pretty but it certainly wasn't bad so I'd give him a 6.5 and there's a lot of people giving him a seven which I which I think is which is great as well um okay right let's find out who the man of the match has been don't worry in future games this will run a lot smoother it's just um
