UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE DRAW, FIXTURES & PREDICTIONS AS NEW FORMAT BEGINS

to play but bottom line is it's going to be exciting uh new format New Era right now I'm just trying to wrap my head around who will probably leap into scoring the first go and then probably later on new format especially looking at the fact that you don't you get to play a team just once you don't get home and away fixures again I think the format is a bit enforced because obviously it's as a it be a football fan before I go into IND try and explain if you're a football fan and you don't understand the draw don't worry the the part that you should worry about is the matches concept and be free okay so jump into right how the draw was held and so I think the draw was a bit straight forward it had one done by a human being and then the most difficult Parts done by a computerized system line of M that's basically it so that's where people get confused so each team has a unique line of matches but also because it's just 36 teams there will be a point where the matches will overlap so it's like four of us we are going to play football match among ourselves but we have unique line of matches so you play three people three matches at random but definitely you you play Among Us you get so that's that's how it is and that's why some of the teams are playing matches that looks familiar some are also playing matches that don't look familiar so that's basically it and also others will think about how the league will be determined so on the normal League table you are supposed to play all the teams in the so on the normal League table you are supposed to play the 36 teams on the league table but it's not like that you are every team is playing I think it's seven matches right eight matches it's eight matches so each team is playing eight matches eight different the league pH we have to the league like the league is the most so the 36 teams they going to play each but each team has a unique set of eight matches that they will play good and that will determine their point so after match day one we all play different teams but it's still three points so after match D1 you play one match you have okay three points maybe after my match I play the draw one point you play a draw one point so that's how they so they accumulated over the over the eight matches that each team will play so then after that then they move to the the round of city which is the normal one that we are familiar with I think first eight qual automatically and then the second one the 16 I think plays I think from 9 9 to 24 yeah play the other team that goes into the next so a to it's a b pretty simple so one each team plays unique set of matches to Det determined their points to give them a slot and the leag table and then you move on so what Buon did was pick just pick the team from each of the points yes just for Port one to four then Ronaldo Taps the machine uses certain parameters like countries teams different countries you have already played Med before coefficient like so they use certain parameters exactly so after port one moving to Port two you know Port one gotten this te so it has to T and so it's more like the basic when you're doing the normal draw the basic think very unfortunate because their toughest game which is against P they are playing at the M stadium and that's the fortunate part if you are lucky to get your tough matches at home then is get opportunity to play a second league so just a oneoff match and you have to make sure that you I think Arsenal have a very decent F if you it looks like a yeah it's true looks like they playay Munich first time I think theyve want they yeah they have RB SEC away Juventus home clab brge away Celtic home young boys away bologa home and then as Monaco away that's for Aston Villa first time in Europe with a new format first time in a long time yeah with a new format your chances this is difficult because um but then again we also have to think of the person in the home of Affairs that isry he has winning the Champions League had a final thoughts that would be that doesn't make winning the Champions League any harder than it already was I think what it does is it makes the the initial games more difficult like the initial to the next stage because now you play seven matches that's at four are more competitive clubs that are on your on your level the pr previous Edition when you are a tough team you are seeded and then you get lower teams so it's like the toughest opponent at your level you can get is maybe the next one so you get only two tough open like another extra tough match and then the other ones are manageable but this time around you have at least seven you have at least four matches that are on on your level and apart from that your your position on the Le table is also determined by other teams performance to as well unless you win all your seven matches then you are free from that if you you start getting draws somewhere you start be praying that someone loses their matches so that they drop a point so I think that's what makes the opening stages so you may be very good when you go to The Knockout stages but before you even qualify to The Knockout stages you have to be very good very very good any I I think it will still be on the same level um the reason why I think for English Sims it's hard for them to actually advance to uh probably knockout faces or even win the champions league is because of the number of matches they have in terms of the domestic competion and the domes competions are still the caral and caral and FA cup plus the Le of um I think it's still the same I think yeah I think it's still the same um the likes of asva have like equal uh matchup to to play like equal teams in terms of levels to play I think Arsenal also has similar so it will probably still be around the same chances that they they have what do you think it's going to be a very difficult one for the English class yeah because if you look at the way the English teams have performed in the previous Champions League they they find it very difficult when it comes to knockout Feast of the competition and this one it seems like just the knockout faces because when you're playing an opponent even in the in the group phase is a is is a do or as because if you lose a game it's 30 same so if you lose a game imagine the first are been played and maybe you are facing PSG like Arenal you lose and you lose you're going back to the 36th position before you climb it's going to be before you climb up to the top you have to face other opponents who are equally good as you so winning your first three games are equally important as like just like a knockout yeah so it's really really difficult it's really difficult even than I think but I think the but the other the other bit is that if they able to come out this like really well then they would have beli within themselves that they can win the competition because you face all the best teams in your might face them again they might face them again and it will be a different story Al together but at least it gives you perspective and confidence know how to approach their other games but also I think the other advantageous the fact that um it's a league Fest so maybe at the time they play a very tough game they would know their position on the league table the other results from other matches also have influenced on how the game will come up but on hindsight on any day these matches are pretty much tough matches and I think the fish is very tough justifies the reason why UFA perhaps wants to do this so yeah so I have exciting FES but one thing is you see the top 18 teams who will be qualifying to the next pH I'm sure they'll be seeded into like the tree aspects where if you are very good from the group faces that or the league phas that you've seen you you probably have a good knockout yeah part to the final in the no car phase so I think it beneficial to them like
