2024 Fantasy Football Talking Points: Is Mark Andrews Already A Boring Veteran?

so is Mark Andrews actually morphed into a boring veteran already this is a fantasy sports boss guys hit that subscribe button if you're new to the channel lots and lots of good stuff coming your way over the next few weeks and of course we have it all covered on uh fantasy football Sunday with all the instant injury update videos yeah so Mark Andrews this is an interesting case study like the guy is only 28 years old right but he seems to have fallen into that boring veteran status for this season and it's interesting because I never thought I would see a boring veteran at the tight end position but the fact of the matter is that tight end has really become almost deep the last couple years you have the sudden emergence of D conc of course Sam La fla who's the tight end one Trey McBride uh Brock Bowers coming in this year you still have Kyle Pitts who's hinting at BigTime production now this year with Kirk Cousins but Mark Andrews has actually slid right now to be on average I didn't even mention EV Ingram to be around the fourth or fifth tight end off the board he's going past Sam La pora going past Travis Kelce past Trey McBride and it's flipped uh flip-flopping with him and Dalton concade uh because everybody expects big things from concade this season but it's interesting because Andrews is being knocked a little bit from not being the shiny new toy he's missed time you know last year he missed uh seven games with an ankle injury the year before that he missed two games but remember 2021 107 catches 1,361 yards nine touchdowns it was a little bit of an outlier season but even in 2022 73 catches 847 and five touchdowns last year in 10 games 45 catches for 544 and six touchdowns you extrapolate those numbers over a full season would have been another great year 12.1 per catch last year he's a big after the catch guy just like George KD um and here's the thing too if you're worried about the injuries guys all you have to do is draft Isaiah likely this is the only situation in fantasy football where you can draft a handcuff a top end handcuff Isaiah likely can be a top five6 tight end and he did that last year when Mark Andrews was out injures so if you're worried about the injuries just draft Isaiah likely later and enjoy Andrews being the top Target of Lamar Jackson again guys hit that subscribe button let me know what you think of the video and what you think of Mark Andrew this season
