Alaska: Quick Visit to Ketchikan Alaska - Lumberjack Show and Seaplane

sailing into port to go exploring in ketchin because we sailed with Norwegian Cruise Line we docked in war Cove which is a 20-minute shuttle ride into town such a lovely Alaskan City with such a short stop only 5 hours it was hard to see the city and take an Excursion so we prioritized having time to walk around the [Music] city we made it to The Lumberjack Show what a treat it exceeded expectations and for $43 a person it was the best deal of our vacation yes a little cheesy at time but perfectly so and the talent of The Lumberjacks was impressive the host was so cute and gave a great history of the town and the lumber [Applause] [Music] business want to [Music] go and it looks like you're KN and not coming up [Music] so Andrew uh what makes a hot sa hot sa are you sure all right we stole them very tall very steep mountains so springboards were [Applause] [Music] [Applause] used two go [Applause] [Music] winning that and whoever remains D the longest wins pretty simple right yeah all right [Applause] [Music] [Applause] after the show we walked around town had another bear siding and then walked over to Creek [Music] [Music] Street what a lovely walk along Creek Street and enjoyed the views from the nature trail to the salmon ladder we decided to take a section of the trail that went up and when we got to the top we found the best little outdoor lounge with amazing views of catch can you could look down on Creek Street and over to the Waterfront of katchan and even The Lumberjack Show hey while we were up there we saw our family down on Creek Street and then we saw the sea plane that Nana Papa and Chris were [Music] on they saw me I wait to you [Music] While most of our family walked through town Nana Papa and Chris took a SE plane Excursion the sea plane took off in ketan and went out to a mountain lake that could only be reached by a plane they had such stunning views of Alaska [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] than [Music] while they were enjoying their SE plane ride we walked back down to Creek Street and then explored the town a little bit more [Music] [Music] [Music] we did a little shopping when we got back to W Cove it was some of the best deals of our trip on shirts and souvenirs I used to work at a paper mill so it was kind of cool to see that Ward Cove was actually a formal Papermill you could make out the manufacturing building which is now the main shop and you could see the chip digesters silos sailing away next a journey through the Inside passage to Vancouver Canada
