Awful serving Novak Djokovic through to the 3rd round at US Open 2024.

hello everybody back another video all right my honor World Novak jovic is through to the third round at US Open 2024 the defending Champion Novak jovic is through to the third round at US Open 2024 and won his second consecutive match in straight sets he won the first in straight sets like we know and he won also the his second match in straight sets even though that the third set never finished because Jer needed to retire due to injury uh uh so Novak what can we say about his performance he's he's continued to serve awful he didn't he keept on serving like he left in the first match with bad low percentage of first Ser in uh we all know that in the first round he landed only 47% first of in and he didn't serve any better in the second round as well in this match as well he lands only 47% first of scene he's making his life a misery on the Court by serving this awful uh Jer we knew coming into this match that he has challenged Novak before uh they have faced each other two times in the past both of those times uh Jer has actually given Novak Jo a hell of a run for his money but Jer has never defeated Novak in two previous rounds before and he couldn't do that in this third round match as well we all remember last year's we open third round match where Jerry was too s to love up but Novak came back and won that match in five sets this match was also pretty close it was not close in sets don't get me wrong but Jerry was it was not like J Jerry was it was not like Jo was Team Rolling Jer J had like a lot of chances he really had he jic won this match 6'4 64 and then the third set Jerry was forced to retire when the when Jo had the lead to love in games but jokovic uh Jen was really playing close to jovic and and are we surprised no especially considering how jovic is serving if you look at Novak's stats he does three aces in this match only and eight double faults so Novak has now done 18 double faults in two matches he did 10 double Falls in his first match and now he does eight double Falls in his second match so jokovic is making his opponent's life much easier when he's serving like this anyway Novak does like I said three Aces and eight double vault in this match uh he lands only 47% first so for the second consecutive match here at US Open he's Landing 47% first of SC that was the case as well in the first match he wins pretty pretty much very much point a lot of points but his first CLE he won 79% of the point when his first Ser which is really good he so he does he won even more point when his first serve in this second round match than he did in the first match in the first match no won 74% than his first serve now he does even better job here winning 79% being his first serve uh he won 49% of the point in his second serve jovic uh which is pretty decent I always say when you win over 50% wi is be your second Ser it is still it is very good he was just slightly below that with winning points 49% by second set he did a better job actually in the first match when he won 57% dur second set so he does less of worse job here uh in winning points be the second Ser with 49% in winning points be second Ser uh he broke jiser four times out of 10 that he had he does only 18 winners and 26 unfor STS so he does eight more unfor STS than winners so Jo is keep on doing more unfor STS than winners exactly this case was in the first match as well where he does 23 winners only and 40 unfor steros so he does 17 more un foros than winners in the first match he's keep on doing more unfor than winners in the second match as well here he does a better job at least here he does eight more unforced arrows than winners all in all jok in the match won 90 points J he does 11 Aces one double fault only lands 59% first wins 65% Ben first Ser wins 37% wi his second serve and had a ton of chances he had eight brick punch opportunities the entire match three in the first set five in the second set and he converts in only one of those those eight break OPP that he had which and that only one he converted was in the second set where he actually was up in the lead 42 was a break up in the lead in the second set and actually had break for chances to even get a double break in that second set in that seventh game on the second set in that 4-2 game where we had a 5 40 where they had a 40 50 uh uh lead in Novak sir but Novak surviv us and saved those break poch opportunities that Jer had in that seventh game in the second set and then leveled and then Novak won four straight games in that second set and won the second set 64 and Nova continued to win games and won also two games in the third and then then Jed was forced to retire so Novak won six consecutive games in that from that middle of the second set till the end of a match but if Jerry would have converted those break much opportunties in the middle of the second set and would have taken the lead 5-2 who knows what would happen I still believe Jo would have won uh uh but his life would have got got even more harder and harder in the tennis court J is not playing good he's not serving good maybe some of you say but he needs some matches to get into the Rhythm yeah maybe that is the case but he definitely didn't need those matches at a Olympic games uh last month where he was sharp consistent powerful strong from the get- go from the first match to the last match J was super consistent and sharp at the Olympics that is definitely not the case here at US Open I don't know why he's serving this bad uh anyway Jer broke Novak serve one time out of eight brick punch up that he had the entire match and all in all Jed won 72 points the entire match so Novak wins 18 more points than J the entire match and Jed does 30 winners and 40 unfor so Jed does 10 more unfor than winners yeah Novak's level is not the the great it's not is not super great at the current moment he needs maybe some matches but he's serving is a a disaster at the current moment he's serving he's serving awful at the current moment he was not he was much better at the Olympic Games last month uh from the first first round to the last round for God's sakes he faced RAF Nadal in the second round yeah Nadal is not in his peak of career we all know that but it is still RAF Nadal on Clay on at Paris on a court where he has swon French Open 14 times he demolished Nadal 61 64 in that second round he's not demolishing any players here yeah he has still not dropped one single set Novak jovic he won the first round he won his first round match E Straight sets and he also won his second run match in straight sets even though the third set never finished but he would have won the third set as well in stra in straights uh he will not he would he would not have lost the third Set uh if Jer would not retired the challenges the mounting are just getting higher and higher and bigger and bigger now poing waits in the third round a player that he leads the head toad three love nov joic they have faced each other two times already this year both of those times has been at Majors atop Novak Jo won and in four sets at wion Novak Jo won in four sets as well but popim he's coming in this into this match with high confidence we has his biggest title in his career at Montreal a couple of weeks ago when he won his first ever M thousand title and po we all know he has a big Ser big forand Novak Jo really needs to raise his level uh the challenges are will get only bigger and bigger for him going deep in the tournament he cannot afford in serving this this poorly in in in serving this awful he needs to race his first potential first service he needs to race he's for the second consecutive match he serving 47% first of in I don't know what why why that is the reason is it because he has some back issues I don't know he has not said that he has any pain any pain in his back at least when I've heard his interview when I've asked him he has not said that I am having pain in my back and that's why I'm serving this poorly uh so and I still believe he will come he will come through uh Po in the third round but uh uh the Challenger will get bigger and bigger in the fourth round where where Shelton or TFO Waits and uh it will not get any easier as deeper is gets and with this awful serving he will never defend this you super tile where he's trying to become the first player in 16 years to defend a you super tile last time a player did that was Roger feder back in 2008 but with this level he will never he will never in freaking hell win his 25th Grandam title and defend the US super title and become the first man the first man play the first male player to do that in 16 years he needs to raise his level tremendously especially his serving performance needs to he needs to raise tremendously because if he gets deep say to quarterfinal semi-finals say he gets to a final just say he gets to a final somehow he uh fights him through he fights the the himself through to a final and he will not he will face alcas or C that final he will get destroyed against one of those two will be this level he they will destroy him all right guys I hope you enjoyed the
