victory over the Bradley University Braves final score of 4 to3 in which the rookie or freshman if you will John Wendy of Northern Illinois picked up his first ever Collegiate goal just so happened to shot as he would have liked to now it's Maldonado in the corner first thing a turnover he takes it away from Rock and then he tries to clear van vorus able to keep it in for the moment valalo still on the ice in Maldonado with it now tried to center it went off of a brave in front now it's taken by Sturm in the corner Maldonado cross ice Koval throws it towards the net it's blocked off shielded by Rock and thrown all the way down on net and so no icing right on the ice blue Beckwith insures that the Braves can get a change once again Huskies moving up this is Morgan he tried to connect with one- nothing Braves and now here's a potential two-on one moving in is Zimmerman to the back hand oh what a stop oh my goodness gracious NE just stoned Zimmerman cold keeps this game a one goal [Music] game that's been the story of the first bu for the Huskies they've been that close but the only thing in the way of them is Nick neem has been very sharp in this first period here's a shot right off the face off and that's paddled Away by NE Meer and kept away from Spence Zimmerman tries to thread the needle to Smith that's just out of his reach now sent out of the Zone by the Braves
