what you do don't know who you think [Music] confusing well you're very welcome here to the headquarters of the Football Association of arand here in Blanchard town for the men Roblox Fai cup sponsored by Ry Sharon the first round draw and a very exciting moment here for both the Roblox League of irand and the Football Association of Ireland the first round draw the start of the new season for the FAA cup the Roblox League of irland started two weeks ago but nonetheless we have some more exciting games coming up the draw will can go ahead with 16 teams from two divisions of the Roblox League of Ireland making up all 16 for the first round joining me here here for the tie doing me a favor with the draw is Kyle love Tran who's a member of the National League Committee in the Roblox League of irand and ambulance who's a two times winner of the Roblox League of irand and a winner of the FI cup and as well as that joining me as a representative of RTE kilan Clark and well respected member in the Irish Community kilan thanks very much for coming on to the show and there's one huge thing coming up here r t Shar and I have their new contract with the fbii and the Roblox leag of Arden for broadcasting all these games you know what was your thinking behind the whole momentum to have uh an official agreement in place to broadcast these matches well look first of all thanks for having me uh but also you know for a long time there's been a lack of an official or significant agreement between RT and the FI and I felt that you know I don't know how my predecessors felt anyway but I felt as director General that you know there should be a significant agreement there to recognize the contribution that the FI has made to our culture and uh more generally the contribution the FI has made to broadcasting I felt that was important to consecrate in paper yeah uh some exciting draws coming up here killing I don't know if you are an avid sport follower here on the Rox in the FAA cup but if there's any tie that you're probably looking out for you know what would you be looking for in a game would you be looking for something just over and back boring or really something like a Tango Thriller to be honest um I think there's been some consistent scores I wish I had the usern names on me but there has been a lot of consistent scores uh previously in the Fai of course and I think this draw you can tell because the people watching are obviously it's a bit of a nail Biser but um let's be honest there's no particular Partnerships or you know draws I'm looking for here I think it'll be more so you'll see that culminate in games and um you know when the strikers obviously throw it back into the N you'll realize damn this was a bit of a ridiculous pairing but um it's hard to tell at first when they come out with the cup yeah and finally it's going to be the well the last season so far in the contract for sponsorships off the FI cup uh do you want RT to continue that sponsorship would you like to go for another venture uh be the proud Main sponsor or you think you're just done with it all together look uh no matter what happens this season anyway I do not think that it is in the realm of possibility that RTE will be ending this partnership uh under my Premiership anyway we're going to look to continue that agreement because like I said earlier look the FI it has a huge contribution to our broadcasting it has a huge contribution to the link between the two communities you know Roblox soccer and of course the Republic of Ireland or to act as a link between those two communities and certainly uh the FI a is a link between the two uh broadcasting Partnerships that's something I'm going to look to continue I don't think people want to end that at out for like between two sides would you like to see a two first division sides battl l or just a a mix between Premier and first yeah I think if you're a club own to coming into a draw you would always love to get your biggest Rivals of course mine being a town so was get a town the draw I would be very happy yeah join beside you as well is ambulance who I said earlier was a two times winner of the roblx league of Ireland Premier Division and the uh FAA cup ambulance an exciting time coming up here for the r fi cup uh I just want to ask you there's probably the biggest question that's going to be happen in the season the current holders at the FA Cup are Kerry FC do you think kry will hold that dominance or will they drop it honestly we have to see yeah because currently our form's been a bit dodgy first two games but we we have to see throughout the competition but yeah really just really excited for this yeah well gentlemen thanks very much and next thing you ask you to do is to empty the balls from the bowl into the FI Cup trophy in all its Glory as you can see right there first used back in 1931 by the Football Association of Ireland and as you can see the balls are been put into the trophy just a reminder of the teams that we have for this number one and the numbers are are like this as well as the joining names number one aone town number two Bohemians number three Cove Ramblers number four cark City number five Derry City number six Finn Harps number seven go united number eight Kerry FC number nine long from town number 10 Shamar Rovers number 11 shelburn number 12 sler Rovers number 13 St Pas athletic number 14 treaty United number 15 UCD and number 16 waard FC the current holder of the FA Cup like I said before is Kerry FC and previous winners such as UCD Wexford and um if I'm wrong please do correct me I'm going to see uh St Patrick's athletic I'm probably wrong in that uh somebody's fing around with my notes I'm very wrong I'm guessing yeah but I'm probably I'm probably getting I'm probably getting mixed up the real fi cup so do please forgive me on that sobody f up with my notes so gentlemen all the balls are placed into the trophy and without further Ado let us get this draw underway exciting time here coming up 16 teams from 1 to6 and kale I want you to go ahead and pick out the home team first out of the trophy is number three number three first out is Cove Ramblers playing at home at St colan's Park CAD Del Cove as some people like to call it and taking them on will be who ambulance we got number five der City and that is correct Cove Ramblers playing hosts to Der City FC well what a draw to get to start it off gentlemen Derry and Cove from North to South Cove Ramblers playing in St col Park and Derry City will travel down there unbelievable draw to get us started gentlemen okay and we're going to go ahead now with the next draw kale please tell us who's taking the next home spot the next teamot is number six number six on the list is Finn Harps football club from Finn Park and Bal buff playing as a home team in the first round of the rtfa cup the on go side and ambulance who will they be facing and we have number 10 well gentlemen what a tie we have here Finn Harps playing as host to Shamrock Rovers of tala Stadium unbelievable that's a second that is going to be a a bit of a weird one Finn harp taking on Shamar Grovers Finn Harp's current Champions at the North American Trophy they weren't so lucky back in the FI Cup last season but Shamar Grover is definitely one team not to be taken away from uh that's fin heart versus sham Rovers with the next one kale once again the home team no problem and the home team out is number one first team out for sorry not the third team out for the home draw is number one at Lone toown AFC of the Aron Town Stadium KY I know you're not very fond of aone town the Midland Rivals so aone town will be taking on who ambulance they'll be joining up with number seven that's another that's another and the number is if I can read it right number 13 number 13 which is St Patrick's athletic will be playing as the home team of interor and who who will they play in the away who will they be home to apologies ambulance and we have what was this number 15 well number 15 UCD AFC or ucdc apologies University College Dublin will be taken a bit uh not too short not too long in the Dublin ratio up to inch a core same P athletic players host to UCD uh so eight teams remaining here that's going to be another TI of deely lookout for gentlemen now Kyle once again we're going to go for our eighth uh e teams remain we're going to go for our next draw and the next team out is number 12 next team out number 12 slgo Rovers of the SLO showgrounds formerly the SLO Rebel Arena be playing as hosts to who ambulance just AER 17s remaining now and we have number two number two on the list Bohemians that's going to be a good one as well slager RS taking on Bohemians in the first run left the rtfa cup wouldn't be looking away from that one one of course Bohemians recently relegated to the first division of the Roblox League of Ireland slager overs as well both in the first division both of them looking for promotion nonetheless a good tie there as well gentlemen six teams remaining kle once again the home team great pleasure only good teams left now anyways number eight number eight in this Tha kry FC RA in Mount Hawk Park and they will be playing as hosts to who ambulance a long journey for whoever it is and it's going to be number 14 number 14 treaty United heading to Kerry FC well that's a that's a good one Lo Hunter treaty United facing the current holders of the fbii cup kry FC in Mount Hawk Park and that is a that will definitely be a great game of football there I wonder if RT will stream that up to them now kry FC taking on treaty United gentlemen will go ahead with the next high remember there four teams remaining those are Cork City Longford town shelburn and waxford football club K home team I'm scratching my head I'm scratching my head but I don't know know next team out is number four number four carks City FC of Turner cross the rebel Army very big fan based of Aon hoes around them and they have only three teams to take on here of the choice of three and ambulance tell me now out of those three who will take on the mighty Rebel Army and it's going to be number 16 well that's definitely something current Champions at the Premier Division in Roblox League of Ireland Wexford FC heading down to Cork not a long journey but definitely something very enticing the rebel Army playing its hosts to waxford gentlemen only two teams remaining now out of all 16 those two teams are longf for Town and shelburn NFC kale as owner of long for town as well and member of the National League Committee of course you're probably looking for uh something good here so please do this uh a favor and pick out the home team for this home team will be number nine well okay you're going to be happy with this one anyway long for town of Bishop's gate will be playing as hosts but you know I that's big question here I don't know who they're going to be playing as hosts too uh do us a favor ambulance and tell us who they're playing hosts say number 11 well how how many balls are left in there I think there's only about one yeah of course so longf for toown FC with the final team there as home we'll be played playing shelburn football club off TOA Park Lads unbelievable ties there long for time taking on shelburn at the last one there we'll have a look at the whole thing back in a few moments time and I I actually got a message there from director general of RTE Killian clar he said watching this draw makes me actually want to follow the cup so gentlemen what a draw for all teams there and of course we'll have a look back at all the ties in a few moments T kale first of all I want to go back to you that last draw that we had there long for to taking on shelburn you know something you probably want to see um yeah I can't really speak um it's hard when you're to be the last team pulled out because you could get anybody especially when we got down to the last six teams there was treat United there was rexord it was kry I was really starting to scratch my head there and I wanted to get out of the room but no I'll take sh bur mon here yeah ambulance um out of all those ties what would you think is your favorite anyway favorite it's got to be Rexford man like I know some of the guys are I not some of the guys in wfi are buzzing but we we have we have to stay bit humble and uh just just wait for it to come we'll play through the game and yeah we'll see what happens in it so yeah um really an absolute shocker we're just getting a bit of confirmation here off the ti coming back after that entire draw myself as league president it's definitely a lot of draws to look out for and of course you'll be definitely looking for some high scoring games and um hopefully some on RT television as well as you're seeing right now um it's already up to kilan Clark if he really wants to send all his cameras down to let's see bloody and Shakur are even I don't even know if they'd do this if they headed over to MW Park uh K I want to ask you a question as well you know as member of national league committee you're obviously probably involved in the running forwards of the both the FEI Cup and the RT FAA cup current sponsorship of RTE you know do you think it's beneficial for the cup or do you think it's absolutely rotten oh oh yeah 100% like it was the one thing me and uh you pursued when the rxm um sponsorship of the FI cup ran out in late season two after the FAA Cup Final in that season um so yeah no it's brilliant it's brilliant able to have a national broadcast broadcast in our games it really grows the league and you can see how beneficial has been since the league started we had 400 members when R started streaming our games we've now gone to approaching a, and that is really beneficial to us being able to reach out into the community of Ireland and look obviously we haven't got on all the time and there's a few fallouts there between the fbii and irand but it's good now to have a domestic League like League of Island and the Football Association of Island all working together as a three over four already included so know it's brilliant for the league and Brilliant for the cop but uh yeah look it's been a a Brillion draw um ambulance I don't know I think you're very happy that he got City again after the result last night no C City I feel like yeah most most of the guys are buzzing but seeing the fixures after the Jaws yeah it's going to be a tough game tough tough cup as well long it's going to be a tough run for us but we we've got all the time we need to prepare for it and we take it step by step yeah definitely of course and look it was a great win for exit last night um 10 n was it 9 N 10 N 9 nil so was 9 do you want to go for more 10 n 11 n maybe 12 13 n well yeah that's the main objective we just needed score the goals I mean after our first game in the league it was a bit d but I feel like we came back with the right mentality and we we put it back in we put it back in the standards got 90 but could have got my first goal back from rejoining with Rexford after a long retirement but still won it got the three points still got more to go for man yeah 100% well Lads an exciting draw and just a reminder looking back at the actual draw that we had and the final draw uh all TI to be played week ending September 15th 2024 of course K Ramblers playing home to Dairy City Finn harp home to shammer Grovers Aon home to goway UCD heading away to in course in Pats uh slager Rovers against Bohemians K FC current title holders are playing the treaty United Cork City against Wexford FC and finally Longford Town taking on shelburn
