Caitlin Clark— a name synonymous with
Women’s basketball is just two technical fouls away from facing an unpaid, one-game
suspension. She has made mistakes… After all, she’s human. But some people don't seem
to understand that quite well. Especially her coach. Watch till the end to find out why! Despite competing with experienced and skilled
athletes, this young sensation has carved her path to excellence. That too, at the young age of
22. But her journey to worldwide success wasn’t overnight, it was long and it was hard. Caitlin
walked through the dark, scary, dangerous path and illuminated it with the light of her inexplicable
brilliance. However, she has made some fouls. Do you wonder who Christie Sides is? I
mean, are you even a Caitlin Clark fan if you don't know her WNBA coach, Christie?
What a shame. No, I'm actually just kidding The Indiana Fever is soaring high
after their olympic break, winning two games against the Phoenix Mercury.
But their fierce and competitive coach, Christie, isn't letting Caitlin loose
and leaves no room for comfort for her. Despite delivering outstanding performances
with more than 30 records broken, Sides makes it clear that Caitlin has to watch her
step. Fans online are loving how Sides is standing up for her players. "Finally!
She's standing up for her girls. It was so great to watch live!" one fan said, and I
have to agree with them. It’s refreshing. Clark, fresh off a much-deserved vacation,
has been nothing short of sensational since her return to the court. The rookie extended
her record with a tenth double-double against the Phoenix Mercury, racking up 29
points and 10 assists. She followed that up with 22 points and 9 assists in a
dominating victory over the Seattle Storm, smashing the WNBA's rookie assist record in
the process. But as the Fever continued their playoff push, Sides knew she had to act fast.
With Caitlin being an integral player on court, Sides said she wanted her to play AT ALL COSTS.
But it looks like Coach Sides’ plans are in deep waters. With 12 games left in the regular season,
Clark's two fouls away from a one-game suspension after picking up her fifth technical foul against
the Storm. Sides isn't taking that lightly. Fans and their rage; a combination that goes hand
in hand. We can see comment sections FLOODING with Caitlin Clark fans, demanding an explanation
and calling this decision ‘unacceptable’. You want to see how Caitlin reacted to the
situation? Keep watching to find out! Fans all over the world are expressing
their worry for Caitlin because she’s the only reason they're watching the WNBA
games. I mean, at this point, I think we are all under the Caitlin Clark effect and that
too, rightfully. But the rising concerns from viewers were addressed by coach Sides who was all
praises for the young athlete. According to her, The Indiana Fever can not afford losing Caitlin
as she brings in most of their scores and assists. But you know how a star is. Exceptional.
Caitlin’s take on these dumb fouls against her is extremely calm and i would suggest, mature.
This woman has proved what patience is, she has embodied the power of letting go, showcasing
the immense importance of being cool. She has inspired MILLIONS to stand up for themselves and
still maintain composure under pressure. Caitlin Clark had quite a Sunday for the Indiana Fever.
She broke the WNBA rookie assist record with a full-court pass for a highlight-reel dime,
and she got a technical foul for punching a stanchion in frustration, which is weird because
she wasn’t doing anything to particularly show up the referee or anything. But after the
Indiana Fever win, she talked about how she wanted to thank the ref, because she felt
like she and the team played better after that. Come on, you can’t tell me that wasn’t a
strong answer. Her gameplay, her throws, her assists, her work, her mannerisms, her
words are all beyond amazing. Sometimes, I think she’s the epitome of brilliance.
Haha, do I sound like a die heart fan? Yup, that's because I AM HER DIE
HEART FAN!! Just as this crowd Anyways, This wasn’t the first time Christie
Sides stood up for Caitlin and supported her in complicated situations. Indiana Fever
head coach Christie Sides recently spoke out on the infamous Caitlin Clark
hit against the Chicago Sky. Clark was nudged from the back with a blindside
hit that led her to fall on the floor, and Sky guard Chennedy Carter took the time
to taunt the WNBA rookie. Following the game, the play went viral on social media. Fans
were calling out the Fever, mentioning they need an "enforcer" to have Clark's back at
all times and retaliate for the 22-year-old. Sides spoke on Clark's teammates after
many of them received scrutiny for not addressing the situation when Clark was
on the floor against Chicago. Not just Sides but sportswriters and analysts
like Michael Voepel also took to X and formulated the concept of HELPING fellow
teammates in such horrible situations. Despite these physical struggles, the Fever
were able to defeat the Sky on Saturday 71-70, and Clark still stood atop the rookie
rankings in terms of points and assists. You wonder how Caitlin reacted? Like
the boss that she is! Seriously, I don't need to explain anything.
It's just the star and her magical words against the haters of this
world and I am all here for it. Fans have finally started praising
Christie Sides for being by Caitlin’s side but the referees are now in
deep trouble. One FURIOUS fan said: “They finally have people watching the WNBA so now
it’s time to upgrade the refs. That was probably the worst tech foul I’ve ever seen called.
Refs are absolutely horrible in the WNBA and it’s starting to make it hard to watch. They won’t
pull a whistle out of their pocket on an obvious hack across the face but someone smacks the
padding because they are frustrated they missed a 3 pointer. Actually surprised the ref even saw
her slap the padding since they obviously can't see anything else. Please UPGRADE these refs
and stop using the yellow pages to find them.” Ouch, Barbara. That's nasty but you know what?
We’re okay with nasty if it goes in Caitlin’s favor. Caitlin's probably feeling the same
frustration over how unfair that foul was! That’s the news we got for
you today. But don’t worry, we’ll update you on daily news about Caitlin Clark
and the WNBA, can’t wait to see you back! If you liked the video, please subscribe and hit the
