Roster Move 🚨 49ers have signed former 2nd round WR Terrace Marshall Jr 👀

the San Francisco 49ers have signed a former second round wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr to the practice squad now this is an interesting one because he was recently released by the Carolina Panthers just a second round draft pick pick number 59 overall in 2021 out of LSU he's still only 24 years old actually just turned 24 two months ago the 63 200 pound wide receiver Big Frame long very long arms and had a ton of hype coming out of LSU but just really hasn't been able to do much of anything in the NFL just in his three years with Carolina he was only able to take 106 targets and turn them into 64 receptions for 767 yards and a touchdown so not a whole lot of production his most production came in 2022 where he had 490 yards and a touchdown other than that just really abysmal production for what you would come to expect from a second rounder now the San Francisco 49ers with Terrace Marshall uh coming to the practice squad as I believe it is we've seen it reported a couple ways but I just saw the original guy who reported it which was Aaron Wilson reut it out uh that he is joining the practice Squad so hey at minimum this is a lowrisk high reward signing he obviously is a talented player just you know maybe it didn't click with the Panthers maybe coming to the San Francisco 49ers is enough um to help him latch on to this team obviously he's going to start out on the practice squad but getting a former second rounder who's 24 years old that's not a bad bad B deal so with him we shall see if he actually makes an impact on this roster but I don't mind it I think that's a that's a good move we saw that happen yesterday he was one of the high-profile guys who got released you know former high draft picks and things of that nature on Cut Down day and the 49ers opt to bring him into to the practice squad so could he contribute this season I don't know I think that all determines Brandon iuk will actually be on this team there's so much uh speculation up in the air right now with how that is going because as we've heard there's rumors that he is going to be practicing today so I I'm not even really sure what's going on with ba but they add another wide receiver and they're still kind of finalizing their roster and practice squad and all those different types of things but let me know what you guys think about this move in the comments below and as always make sure to like And subscribe for more updates
