is going on everybody what is going on the catch fam I hope everyone's doing phenomenal tonight I hope you guys are ready for a real 2024 Fantasy Football Draft we're hopping into the catch fam League number one draft this is the one of the last drafts for the community of the year I don't know why League one uh got scheduled so late but here we are this is the longest standing league for the catch famam community so it's going to be a lot of fun going to be competitive full PPR 12 teams double Flex it's gonna be a good time I'm excited so you guys know what to do hop in the live chat any fantasy football questions that you guys have redraft Dynasty or best ball get it going because we're gonna have some fun tonight we are going to talk some fantasy football Pete's in the house what's go let's go get some good commentary tonight from Pete see how these teams turn out h I am where you picking where you picking 10 okay uh yeah yeah I was interested to see if this would be like because those that haven't been in the no the draft board has like massively changed over the last like three days it feels like what the top of the draft looks like and we haven't seen that we haven't seen that tonight so I like that on sleeper you can uh there's like this feature now during the draft where you can put an emoji on the pick I just put a poop emoji on alond Ross St Brown even though I really like that pick I just I was trying to see if I could put on Stevens but you to do it it's like you have to hit the Emoji thing as soon as the last pick is made so I can I change that oh I get maybe it's too late I don't know I'm figuring it out but um that's a little feature that is new this year is not that groundbreaking but it's kind of fun but yeah to to your point there uh Jamar Chase to the eight of course goes to Spencer so Chase is probably going to play like week one and have like 30 points because Spencer drafted him um yeah this is my first draft where I'm gonna get Garrett Wilson so that's exciting very I uh I haven't had a lot of late picks this year so let's go see who's there at the 2.3 Bree Hall it's 17 is just the steal right now of the draft Yeah beang goes at the5 this gonna be an interesting draft for sure this league is always uh competitive and interesting at the same time I'm picking at the 1 s in my house league so and I know Bean's not going there because my mother is taking bejon at the 13 if he is there because she watches our content nice nice I like it I was kind of hoping for Gibbs in this draft just because I don't have any GI shares but I I like Barkley here too I don't I don't know if I have any Barkley shares in redraft either um picking high in the other leagues yeah I have I like this start all green uniforms I like good luck to everyone in League one remember nobody's allowed to draft Trace B wait draft who chase Brown is protected for Chase Brown is protected for Chase Brown you know in the uh in the dynasty League that chase is and I did try to make that rule and it it was not followed so oh I do like I appreciate the try yeah but yes JB this is where the OG's draft for sure sober money what's going on Dynasty PPR superflex would you all trade Gibbs for Kiron and Connor on a win now team uh it kind of really depends on the rest of the roster and how bad you're hurting at running back um but I don't I don't know if I give up Gibbs I think most people probably have Gibbs as the rb4 in Dynasty some people might have as rb3 so you're probably looking at CMAC beon and Hall know CAC much older but still makes it just because he's CMAC [Music] um it it really depends on the rest of the roster and and how bad your running back situation is it's a fair trade and it kind of you have to ask yourself how you feel about Kiren who's become more polarizing over the last week or so and seems like he's been polarizing throughout the off season um at different times for different reasons I still kind of view him as a a Workhorse running back for the Rams and the Shawn McVey system so um I I don't know if I would do this it depends on the situation J thank you for gifting a one Monon membership goes to chase let's go let's go uh Slaton says a guy sent me a trade earlier aain and iuk for cidi yes I accepted it might be a sell but having CD is tough yeah depends on the well here's the rest of the team burrow beang Gibbs cidd DJ Mo leapor Pickins not bad not bad at all I mean I'm beginning of the Season I'm a depth person so I pref I actually prefer H and iuk but there's nothing wrong with getting CD here and uh you say pickings at wide receiver 3 is crazy I mean I don't I think Pickin is fine in the flex yeah people are running Pickin at a wide receiver too yeah uh so I'm okay with that he doesn't clearly he doesn't live in Texas where we have to listen to CD nonsense cuz not having CD is not tough on the team yeah um definitely a good roster if you uh you get a big you tear up at wide receiver for sure here so and you still have be on and Gibbs at running back so I think he would have been fine if you kept auk over cidi and you ran aain in the flex I remember this team now that ceiling with beang Gibbs and a chain is just ridiculous crazy but it's still fine as is and if it's full PPR you know I'm okay with this too I'm getting a little worried about uh Joe burrow I don't there's some weird stuff coming out the last week or so about that rist yeah I mean I think I always like burrow as a real life quarterback but I have not drafted I've drafted burrow in best ball but in my actual League I haven't drafted any burrow because like you're alluding to I mean he is hurt I mean or coming off an injury he's not hurt I guess but last year when he played hurt it was not good when he played healthy it was fine for the most part other than that Seattle game I'm not going to include the game he got hurt against Baltimore and he was having a good game before he got hurt too yeah yeah he was um so it's it's a tough read but I but they're they're like saying it's worse than I don't know they're saying like the healing process like we've never seen this injury in a quarterback before so we just really kind of don't know and like I would at his ADP I'd rather just wait and go Kyler or Dak yeah Jordan love if I'm gonna pick a quarterback in that range Jerry hits the momes Kelce stack like he does every single year hey man if it's not Allen dig stack it's been a Mahomes Kelsey stack with the goat in front of I like it top I like it too Shane I picked almond rocks I don't have them anywhere else hard to pass on Bree no nothing wrong with that at all and I didn't mean to give you the poop emoji I'm I'm good with alond raw basically anywhere in the first if if you want him so um it is tough to pass on Bree tough to pass on beon to but honestly it's tough to pass on just about anyone there in the first 10 picks yeah right you feel like if you make the you're going to feel sick if you make the wrong decision there yeah so and full PPR this is this is a double Flex format nothing wrong going alond raw right there for sure this has been a little bit in comparison to the other leagues a little bit of a lighter running back draft and we've already seen a little bit more aggressive at quarterback and tight end for that matter yeah I don't want to talk about what is it R league league two like there were 17 running backs in the first three rounds or something like that toxic I was really entering this with the mentality of essentially going hero running back but if you guys can look at the board there's two running backs are that are going to make that difficult I don't know if they're going to make it back though we'll see don't talk about it it's under well there's one of them and he's gone there's the other so okay we're good yeah I actually kind of prefer that because I want to I want to stick to the philosophy hero RB although I went RB in the second here but um he's our hero I do want to kind of switch up I'm go meaf here I'm just gonna kind of to degree switch try and switch up this wide receiver room uh slidy got offered my Nai Higgins for Jacobs and Coleman um I will say I'm I'm in on Josh ja it took me all off season but right now I am I'm in on Josh Jacobs oh he's in on Josh Jacob wow what a flip dude Marshon Lloyd hurt AJ Dylan done for the year um this is a josh Jacobs I mean Emanuel Wilson's gonna get some touches um Nate McCrae is also hurt like it's literally an injured Marshon ly that they're goingon to roll out there anyways and Emanuel Wilson like this week one we're gonna see Josh Jacobs like in full swing and I think that's gonna be the first half of the Season at least and they're probably just gonna ride that momentum but still a lot of mouse defeat on this offense of course um but yeah there's just no reason like Jacobs goes before Henry and Pacho in this draft and like I'm not I'm not even against that honestly like I'm okay I'm earlier in the offseason I was it was definitely Henry Pacho for me if it's Jacobs right now I I'm okay with it um so with that being said I think Naji Harris is gonna have a really good year in Arthur Smith's system he fits that system really well um a lot of nobody fits an Arthur Smith System he's the fantasy he's the ban of everybody's existence in fantasy this is fair this is fair but I will say I prefer Higgins over Coleman um so you kind of gotta look at this like you're tearing down at running back even though I think naj's fine and you're tearing up at wide receiv I mean Coleman could be really good but we just don't have any idea and I I think it's going to take time if he is anyways I really like T Higgins right now um me too Jamar Chase situations a little sketchy burrow and Higgins good chemistry in the preseason and you know like like Higgins to score touchdown is one of my favorite week one lines right now it's like plus 230 or something last I checked and it's like even if Chase plays it's like that's good for Higgins it's always good for Higgins when Chase is out there but if he doesn't you know he's going to get force fed anyways so um I do really like Higgins right now and I think naji's fine he's probably your rb2 so depends on the rest of the team man if you can afford to tear down at wide receiver I would definitely consider it because I I think Jacobs is in a very good spot right now if your wide receiver rooms kind of me can we talk about these Diva wide receivers what is going on right now like I know auk finally signed which was at a ridiculous number but like Jamar Chase I'm going to practice this week no I'm not practicing like what what is happening right now the chase thing is kind of like it it I just feel like what's gonna happen is he's gonna play week one like there's there's no leverage at all no apparently he has all the leverage like they need they need they said they need him to play like they're terrible without him well that's probably like he makes a massive impact if that's the way he's stating that it's true but it's like they can get by with Higgins and the two young guys that rece they're not gonna be as good and that's a very tough division they're playing New England they're gonna beat New England week one though yeah that's true week one he like yeah but um the the chase thing I'm like and you know I've been saying all off season and thank God I was right but all offseason I was like this iuk thing is like he's G to be with the ners uh like I didn't stream last night but the night before everyone was asking me about auk and Chase but with auk I was like I just think he's gonna sign with the ners and this will be over um I'm a little nervous because we're getting close but like that's still my standpoint I'm not changing it and he signed the same deal they offered him like what four months ago that's so stupid I mean did you see what Chase is asking for he wants one cent higher than Justin ever what a what a tool well that's the thing too is like if Chase plays this year he's going to get more yeah right and he signs next year he will make more than Justin Jefferson so stupid you know it's like they're it's just the way it works so um I just don't really see a situation where he doesn't play this year uh I think he was worried about getting tagged maybe because they bag T Higgins but like he's not on the same level as T come on come on come on Jamar you know you're not on the same level as T Higgins then I I read something I don't know how to explain this or if it's true where like he wants to be signed now because then when this contract's over it's like he can sign another I don't I don't know what it was something to do with the years on the contract but the contract doesn't move because the rookie contracts are like stuck like you're you're you just get the signing bonus cash now but the contracts and the cap hits don't roll in until the end of your rookie contract so Jefferson's still like relatively cheap this year and then he'll be expensive next year so I don't get it he's gonna be cheap for another two years he's not unless he's taking a short-term extension it's the same I I I do agree with the auk one was definitely getting annoying at this point um but I was never panicked about it I just was like GNA be with the ners and I stuck by that yeah but now the chase thing I'm kind of like okay this this is also annoying but I just think he's going to be back same with shout out to Justin Jefferson and Aman Ross St Brown that's how you handle wide receiver like that's how you handle contracts guys CD Jamar what are you doing honestly with Sidi I I think I give cidi a pass because the Cowboys are so dysfunctional um like I and I I feel like Ci out of the guys who have been diva-ish cidi has had the best production um and has stayed the healthiest as well so I I think I give cidi a pass but it's like every offseason we have to have something like this you know it's just it's just the way it works uh okay back to the board here you know I don't have this player in any leagues so I'm gonna give me a little scary Terry here oh I love this wide receiver core Debo or Cup in PPR um yeah they're very close I'm falling in love with cup late like cup is just getting T tasty over here but I think I think dbo is probably a little safer but they're very close for me they're they're two interesting guys because you had a point in the offseason where it's was like puk's hurt cup really started to move up boards now it's like puk's fine which was what a lot of us thought anyways but then with Debo is like he was moving up boards because iuk wasn't going to be there he was going to be a stealer brown or Patriot or whatever auk's there so it's like it kind of depends on how you view them do you view Debo as a true wide receiver one do you view him as a a 1 a 1B situation do you view him as wide receiver two and the same thing with Cooper cup um I will say I I like both of these offenses a lot this year so I think regardless of how you view them it doesn't really matter um as a true wide receiver I probably prefer cup honestly because Debo isn't like Debo is going to have these big weeks and kind of fluctuation and it's still a great player to have in fantasy but I think cup be a bit more consistent so it it's super close though um super I mean there's not really a wrong answer I feel like be going to go stupid this season rb1 I mean yeah I think Bree beon you know if it's not CAC those are the guys who had the best shot for sure yeah they just might throw the ball a lot with in Atlanta so maybe ban loses some touches there but obviously excellent pass catch yeah um improved offensive lines for both these teams improved quarterbacks you know we don't have it uh injured Aon Rogers and uh combination of Desmond Ritter and Marcus Mariota that's what the Falcons had last year right yeah I mean Desmond Ritter couldn't even make an NFL roster they SP their quarterback for two years is Mariota on the eals yeah he's the back up I think him and pick picket made the third string they cut tune good for good for Mariota no I I I'm not a Mariota guy after uh the quarterback show says says pick and Tanner mcke okay maybe they cut Mariota then yeah I think they did actually oh no Mariota signed somewhere else I thought he was in Philly last year I thought he signed somewhere else he's backup somewhere you're right you're right um I got to figure it out now hold on he's on Washington of course yeah he's a backup somewhere I knew he was still Washington I should have known I should have known oh yeah I thought you committed hashtag fake fan I know I am tough to pass on aain but I hate doubling up on the same team says jdubs yeah I like that Jacob's pick for you not how you hold up come on J come on jayd come on D come on you know what I'm gonna say yeah there's one offense I'm not afraid of doubling up on it's probably the dolphins dolphins ners can't pick up Lions but I get it I get it especially when Hill Wadd have both had what I think are minor injuries but injuries pop up the last couple weeks um and a Chain's injury-prone as is I can understand the concern here wasn't planning on Henry but him at 35 was too good to pass up on definitely yeah definitely definitely definitely and he's still that's a great that's a great combo there too yeah bejon Henry scary then made for TV gets Hall and Pacho also scary Spencer's got etn a chain Mike's got JT white tox go CAC and Kiren we got some scary double RB starts here um moster goes in the six I was just thinking about how I would like to have moster on this team I'm currently drafting so JB says he's fading the chase Feud I mean I if you're going to choose one of these to fade throughout the offseason I'm okay with it but I have not been concerned about a single one of these situations so I I get it though uh I I do think at the top of the board right now there's so many good options that if it makes you nervous it's fine I mean you see the seven like them less but it's not a home game for the Eagles You Know It's the weird Brazil game um but like odds Packers are wearing green that somebody might get shot that's all I know I've heard this I heard this uh I thought are they really wearing green yeah they don't have a yellow Jersey the Eagles are wearing right white so yeah the Eagles are like the eagles are like wearing these new jerseys they never done before where there's like no green other than like the logo um yeah I I just think it's good odds like plus like I should just pull it up it might definitely be a home game for the Eagles then yeah I mean it's like uh we thought Philly fans were bad wait till you get a load of the Brazilian [Music] fans um that's true yeah I'll pull it up but it's like and uh anytime touchdown scores are live too which you guys know I'm excited about but I think the the Packers are like plus 230 and I mean I I think the Eagles can easily win this game don't be wrong but I I just think it's like Prett OD there I think this is a good fantasy game I think there's not going to be a whole lot of Defense I think we're gonna see a lot of points agreed all right sorry had to log in okay I'm way off the money Line's plus 120 I don't know what I was thinking um but still I like I like those odds for the Packers I'm kind of uh more worried about the Ravens Chiefs I feel like that game is more of a tossup than anything I mean if anything I lean Baltimore yeah I feel like the Chiefs never play one or play well in that week one like super yeah they don't need to they played well in the last game of the season usually so they can play Bad in the first game so so Baltimore is goingon to really want that game too after the AFC Championship Game sure I do like them a lot I still think the Cardinals bills is kind of I yeah I'm not touching that game or my elimin I think the Cardinals defense is just still so bad I know the bills defense gonna be worse this year but I would be so shocked if the Patriots beat the Bengals on the road yeah taking the Bengals but uh it's justad Seahawks sneaky sneaky team this year I kind of like the Seahawks this year I'm going in in order here uh Texans Colts is like that's a game for me that's like toss up Texans probably but if the Texans were at home I would probably say Texans for sure but I think the Colts yeah Road division game no shot touching that yeah that's a weird one Jags dolphins is another weird one for me I don't think the Dolphins are a lock here at all I feel like our boy Trevor Lawrence potentially come through there Steelers Falcons I think I'm still leaning the Falcons but Pittsburgh's defense is so good though yeah I I still feel weird about that one there's I I feel weird about a lot of the games week one Titans Bears the Bears are heavy favorites but and I think Tennessee might be okay why does Jerry have three I'm changing this you know what I'm not I'm leaving Herbert because he's not even the next cued quarterback at not even close so I'm I'll leave that uh but I think the Titans can win this game against the Bears I don't know call me crazy Panther crazy awful game both those teams are bad that's the thing too the Saints are like heavily favored but I could see like the Panthers winning I mean it's the NFL like it's just like such a weird I I think the Panthers can like the Saints are not good you know Saint are awful they're not it's not even the Dennis Allen's the favorite to be the first head coach fired yeah here's another weird one Vikings Giants both those teams are terrible on defense there's not a favor it mean negative 118 for the Vikings negative 102 for the Giants Vikings a slight favorite on the road yeah um and I think if it was a home game for the Vikings I I'd probably just yeah I still think the Vikings defense better than the Giants defense but our secondary is ass my gu this is one of those games where it's like uh I I I just it's gonna it might come down to the last possession type thing great I'm sick of those games that's all I watch with this damn team um Sam darnold 80 yards game one touchdown that's I mean I would be happy to see that I I would be Broncos Seahawks I think I still lean the Seahawks here especially because they're at home but that is another one where I'm kind of like I think that you might get a sneaky play out of the Broncos but I I I think I'm still leaning with the Hawks here yeah I think the the biggest problem is rookie quarterback verse Elite like McDonald's gonna draw up an elite defensive scheme for bonix and it might get a little overwhelming for him I do think that the coaching changes for the Hawks kind of my my buddy has been gassing up that defense yeah I think it prevails here uh Raiders Chargers a weird game like the Chargers are the favorites but I like should they be I'm not saying that the Raiders should be either but it's like this is a weird game none neither of these defenses are good Commander bucks I think I'm still going to lean the bucks at home here but uh it's not like either of these defenses are very good so we'll see um Cowboys br SS jeez yikes that's like the biggest yikes Tom Brady on the call I hate both those teams I think the Cowboys are gonna win that game but the Browns defense is like good yeah the the Cowboys are are I should say the Browns are the favorite here and um I I trust me I I think we've talked about the Cowboys plenty this off season but I'm I'm not just going to count the Cowboys out here I mean they think the Browns arguably have the best defense in the league you know only at home though they're ter they were awful on the road last year but Deshawn like DeShawn Watson is like he hasn't thrown a football in months he's like being a real pain in the ass everybody's reporting like he's just like stand offish with everybody he's I don't know the Deshawn Watson stuff is bad he hasn't been a good quarterback in the NFL in four years definitely fair and uh I I just I is a little bit too harsh on the Cowboys here this line has changed a lot in the last couple weeks so that that might be fair but um that that's a tough game and then the next game even tougher you got Rams Lions I'm like uh yeah pure tossup that's a pure tossup game yeah I I think that the lions come out and be like like prove what they are for sure or the Rams could come out and say like you know I mean you you look at that last playoff game between the two like it was super close game for a reason it was a nonp pass 100% a non-pass interference call on Cooper Cup on that like the Rams were lining up to win that game and they didn't call the pi and Cooper cup 100% got tackled on that play and uh like you said the last one really tough here Jets ners I mean if Aaron Rogers comes out and wins that game week one we've got ourselves a show rest of the Vibes are Immaculate in New York Rogers wins that game oh I know I'm just worried about like Trent Williams is the big like the Niners were really bad last year without Trent Williams that's when they those games they need Trent Williams it's not even close that's probably more important than the iuk deal yeah way more important than anything else mcaffrey a little bit like if you don't have Trent Williams like the offense is going to struggle yeah I mean and the Jets defense I don't know if you know about this the Jets defense is really really good yeah I mean they like really tapered off last year and they were not good against the run but that when Zacks your quarterback things are different like things happen with Zach Wilson your quarterback that I don't blame anybody for nothing to play for so Chase's fans are already calling for Spencer Rattler I I literally recorded my AFC or my NFC South uh video today and I said as soon as Derek Carr Derek Carr is the most hated man in this in the City of New Orleans that it's fascinating as soon as he throws a pick down and like they're down three nothing and he throws a pick six like they're gonna be screaming for Spencer Rattler and like he he wasn't great last year by any means but he wasn't even that bad you look at the fine Jones been hurt lately like he feels risky to me Bowers is a rookie Brown is uh hurt Shakir is he going to be a thing with that offense this year or not we talked about gustbuster in the draft you have jsn Brian Thomas and Mooney all as options in the flex which is typical so nothing wrong with this this is a good squad for a 16 Team league yeah I totally forgot League number one this is a
