The highly anticipated and long-awaited ninth studio album by Rihanna might soon be available. A 'well-placed music insider' claims that the 36-year-old singer is getting ready for the LP's release. Since the release of her eighth studio album, Anti, in 2016, Rihanna's devoted fan base has been screaming for new music from the singer. Additionally, they may get the opportunity to see her perform live as she is supposedly scheduled to headline the 2025 Glastonbury Festival in England. Following the release of that album, which received some of the highest reviews of her career, Rihanna has primarily concentrated on managing and promoting her popular lingerie and cosmetics brands in addition to spending time on her relationship with rapper A$AP Rocky. In May 2022, the couple welcomed a son named RZA, and in August 2023, they welcomed a son named Riot Rose. The insider remarked, "It's been a running joke how long Rihanna's ninth album has taken to release, but finally the wait is almost over." Still, the possibly postponed release date would be ideal for arranging Rihanna's purported world tour. Furthermore, according to the insider, Rihanna was scheduled to perform as the main act at the prestigious Glastonbury Festival. "In any case, 2025 is going to be her year. A massive tour with Live Nation is in the works, and yes, Glastonbury is back on the table," they declared. The singer of Work had reportedly been covertly preparing to play at the festival in 2023, but her pregnancy with Riot Rose prompted her to cancel. On February 14, 2025, the family-friendly movie opened in theaters across the US and the UK.
