I I'm uh I was very very that's kind of the concerning man that we had two chances to try to get into at least field goal position and we we squandered that so let's see what happens when we get the ball back in in third uh third quarter this is also the key too man one of the things I I asked cozy um about a month ago was with the defensive coordinator that our former defensive coordinator that left the question was was that we we had great ingame adjustments defensively do we now miss that and he's his his his um response was well I can tell you like this I was on the defense and the the person who actually made those adjustments often times that throughout all last year is our defensive coordinator now so we're g to see you know if because you know we talked about it a couple days ago if we can stop the run with only six in the Box we we can be that's that's not no that's not going to work don't have the kind of Firepower at the defensive tackles to really hold up and we have terrible run fits with the linebacker terrible run fits so uh I'm looking for man hopefully that um that Henry can get some type of um feeling for the game and help Richardson kind of get on a on a certain kind of pace man he can get this off if it means hurry up some kind of way I like that I like that KJ if it's hairry up if just change it up right like go Harry up go spread Harry up and I something something to get them off balance but what I will say that I did like to see and I've seen I saw Willie do the same thing is that Coy went to the defense and started grabbing the clipboard a style of play like this with this type of quarterback there's no pressure cuz I'm not the game is not dependent on my arm the game is dependent on if we're if we can successfully run the ball because since we have established that we can run the ball you're going to have to keep you're not going to do two safeties over the top you're going to bring that safety down and you're going to know that it's going to be one onone you know it's going to be one onone you know what I'm saying so at the end of the day that just is what it is you get what I'm saying so it's he gets it's a lot more freedom in this style of game for the quarterback unless you're unless you're on the Tok unless you're unless you cannot deal with pressure throws and having to make a play when needed to make a play then you can kind of mess yourself up but other than that there's no other offense you would rather be in the quarterback cuz you just got to live with the ball just getting handed to you and handing it off kind like you know what I'm saying so it is what it is so it is what it is but I I want to be very clear okay I want to be very clear your boy told you the Bama can throw a deep ball I'm telling you the Bama accuracy on the Deep balls is incredible it is absolutely incredible and he's going to give you an opportunity to go make a play that's what that receiver did made a play for him surprised if they go for it on fourth down if they if they keep it because what I would do is I probably would run it on Third and two make them you make them use the timeout hopefully I get the first there expecting to win FBS contest it's like okay is going there we'll play for about the series and then we'll pull off our guys their guys played the entire ball game I think they scor like 21 straight in the fourth quarter to win it so it's like hopefully our guys and our coaching staff and our fans too whether the band's there or not or whatever hopefully they are there to say guys you know what we can do this let's go in there get the dub let's take care of business it's not about how much of a party we have and everything else is about guys this is a football trip business trip go on there kick ass take care of business yeah no listen I think I think Jack State should definitely have that mindset right and if FAMU was if FAMU had a rematch against South Florida I would expect that same mindset right but FAMU against Miami and Jack State versus ULM ain't the same and let's be honest that ULM game should have been a rematch when Dion was there that's really when we should have had it if we being honest and they were ducking that smoke let's just be clear about that so that's when it really should have took place but you know if like if uh if FAMU was playing you know Central Florida I'd be like oh that's gonna be a good game you you know I mean Central Florida win but you know I think that's better than Miami you know what I'm saying so abut you know it's that but you know I I think Jackson State versus UL that would be a now that is a barometer game that is a game that I would be like oh okay let's check this out let's see what let's see what they really working with right um like PV versus Michigan State like what the [ __ ] like why y what who who signed up for that I be like y'all MERS can't even beat UIW y'all go to Michigan State like what are we example that's different than the can say you're right about thatu wins this game you know then we can say okay now we can really do more than just compete because I still think that a lot of us are hesitant to compete against teams that are not HBCU not swag teams you get one or two of these wins that confidence starts to grow yeah you know what I'm saying so it's like um uh I do think that our fans and our CH are confidence about we actually do play good football because we can actually beat folks besid each other I think it's going to help us grow and get better in the long term I agree you know I I like I like those games against rice I like those games against UIW I like them games against uh Stephen F Austin like those are the games that I I like to see right because those are realistic games that you can come out and win like you should be competitive you should be able to go out in Tarin and state you know those are the games you want to play right those are the games you know go to the Southland Conference go to you know those are the games you want to see played because at the end of the day what do you look against your what do you look like against your competition level as well as let's be honest like ULM they could be FCS team let's keep it a buck you know what I'm saying like you know what I'm saying like that's that's where it comes down to so I'm look I'm
