that's a good opening hole definitely want to take advantage hay on with birdies at one and two and at the part three third [Music] this and then to make it four straight out of the [Applause] gate with a par at the fifth and then came right back at the sixth with this for [Music] birdie now both scrambling for par here at the seventh here's youu chipping from a really tough spot over the green how about this touch oh my goodness almost got a little bit lucky there looked like it just missed some kind of a drain cover but nearly hold that one too I mean she just can't be stopped today k no it's one of those days where it looks like she's on [Applause] autopilot short Par Four Fairway tilts a little right to left just trying to hit a shot around 200 [Applause] yards to the eighth we go and use second 87 yd to the hole 83 to the top of the ridge where the hle is [Applause] located birdie to first four par is at 5 seven and now eight birdie at the six and there is a little bit of Al itude here but you know at this point you've probably figured out your distance by now but look at that what a stroke that a one C like that erases a lot of Errors I think the minute anyone watches her first swing the golf club you fall in love with this move it's just a classic beautiful golf swing that doesn't seem like anything can ever go wrong maybe just the sequencing a little little bit or the the tempo perhaps but Morgan she has put in work in the last few weeks a mere 110 yard left just a smooth Sand Wedge I mean both of these players Lauren and hayon just the most balanced beautiful follow throughs finishes just a sign of a really level golf swing at least can I match you I could match you maybe not better but just as well well it'll be interesting to see how and if these two can maintain it on this back nine oh that's a good start right there on this tough hole beautiful drive we' said that a few times this week haven't we yeah and these Fairways are getting really bouncy we're seeing them really roll out we M she absolutely split this Fairway that's only 12 Paces wide nine iron in hand to back hole starting it a little right yeah she's going to miss that Ridge as well I mentioned she did something similar yesterday on 15 she stayed very mature the practice round days were completely different conditions in the first two days which are very different than the conditions today and there's a great example she pulled that a little bit with the iron it stays out of the heavy rough seven iron in hand which I think is plenty of Club good Li in the first cut you never know okay all of us golfers have some odd superstitions look at this that new glove seemed to work I always Chang golf balls after a [Applause] bogey right in the middle and she's got the lead outright in the right trees yeah you have to sort of disregard a lot of times tea boxes are lined up a skew and you have to really pinpoint Target something maybe 2 feet in front of you to make sure you're lined up correctly that's way down there probably trying to land this 165 is oh it's going a little left will it hang on mhm and that's just the benefit of hitting that little fade she hits it so high really thinking pars are good scores to trying to aim and fire at every flag stick you can oh look at this oh [Applause] [Music] wow an eagle for hit on you getting to know ha on over the last year and a half she was one of my rookies and my rookie pod I mean she spent three weeks studying her speech preparing Her speech for her Rookie of the Year acceptance just so she could say it in English good stroke Morgan a little misread just didn't quite get it high enough look like she might have even thought that it would hang on and catch the low side that's a big tie coming out of that first cut of rough the nine iron that was a good full one as you said Morgan back hole [Applause] location so a couple of chances at 15 and 16 to pad her lead o really nice line it Pyon you can go ahe and start banging the boards with confidence cuz you can guess it's going to be a good shot this one she can be aggressive with putting back up the hill she doesn't seem to get too flustered by things I it's a huge [Applause] Advantage space look 250 off the te to get to the corner o and she took that into the rough line and got a kick out into the Fairway what a break brilliant [Applause] 64 four straight birdies to start the round
