Decimating "HBK" Shawn Michaels With Sycho Sid Vicious On Wrestlemania 2000!

what's going on guys so today is August the 27th 2024 and unfortunately yesterday August 26th we lost a true legend in the world of professional wrestling psycho Sid Vicious uh unexpectedly passed away and I was supposed to make a YouTube video yesterday but I was just you know honestly kind of bummed out over the whole situation and I was just kind of thinking last night what can I do to pay homage in my own small little way and then it it dawned upon me a couple weeks ago when I was playing this game I noticed that the person before me had a create a wrestler version of Sid on here Wrestlemania 2000 thought you know what I'm going to recreate probably Sid's greatest match in his career definitely one of them look at that the guy misspelled psycho that wasn't me just want to throw that out there nonetheless overall he did a good job uh creating this he's got the vest down I would have preferred the classic black trunks um because that's how I first saw him when he debuted in WC when he red debuted in WCW in 1999 along with mro man with Team Madness that was the first time I ever saw him as a little kid so I'm nostalgic for the black trunks but yeah we're going to pay tribute tonight to Sid Vicious by honoring him and recreating one of his best matches ever Survivor Series 96 the WWF world championship against HBK Shawn Michel why he's holding a water bottle and why he's accompanied by Terry Reynolds is a little bit beyond me nonetheless look at that entrance man phenomenal so I've never played with Sid on this game before what this person's version of Sid so let's see how he measures up against the computer here we're not coming out of the gate very strong we got a standing suplex done to us right off the bat so not this is not a a completely accurate Recreation of uh how the actual match went in 96 I do have this on card mode by the way so I had to make somewhat of a challenge for myself to know we all know that HBK lays down for absolutely nobody so I had to make it a challenge boy he's staying true to that here he's coming out of the gate strong he is going to give me my money's worth for sure got to be careful this big strikes being reversed he's doing some damage to me early on here so this is definitely a it's good I got my work cut out for me but I'm going to do do my best and honor the man the master of the universe and the ruler of the world pyo Sid Vicious yeah guys as I play here and get my ass stomped by Shawn Michaels how's everything going in your world everything good um what have you been watching what have you been playing what you been up to [Applause] I uh you know I work on this is my second one of these Let's Plays right and like I said last week oh nice big boot there by the man nope he's too smart for that yeah like I said a couple weeks ago um on my first playthrough of this uh I am still it's a working progress for me to be so fluid that I can just uh kind of have a conversation without breaking my concentration the way Ian can from 616 entertainment I think that is super like you know I I said it a couple weeks ago and I'll say it again uh the way he's able to just have a conversation while he's playing this game and actually performed pretty well at it uh it is a talent an art in its own right for sure and oh look at HBK dropping the Stone Cold forearm there um and he actually gave me very nice uh comment on that video so and if you're if you happen to be watching this time around much appreciated I really appreciated the kind words that you had for me last time and uh yeah as you said I will keep it up I will keep at it and uh hopefully these videos will just continue to get better as they go oh what what's HBK got in store that's pretty cool not even going a lie that was awesome hot Eddie Guerrero man i' be my ass kicked in this game try to get my spirit up here man hopefully he'll just allow me to kind of play along for it NOP going to give me that much time he's just wearing me out here here we go oh overhead gorilla press slam nice I'm surprised that he stayed still long enough thanks for cooperating oh nice great tombstone pile driver there let's go for a ride on the top rope why don't will it be time for nope wasn't meant to be going for the superplex but old hbk's got too much fight left think yeah that is not realistic at all I think I turned off rope breaks for this that could definitely work to my detriment here but you know what hbt looks a little bit worse for wear right now as well he's favoring those ribs could there be an insecurity coming up nope that that's athletic big man move there Sid Vicious so you know I guess I'll ask you guys you know what is your what's your favorite Sid moment what's your favorite Sid memory uh for me it would have to be Halloween Havoc 99 against Goldberg you know uh Goldberg is not known for putting on Masterpiece of matches very often or at all really um unless he's in there with the right guy but in this case man this was one of those matches that just is a little kid especially see seeing it through you know 10-year-old eyes talk about everything that in my opinion at least as a fan in my opinion everything that like a big man math is supposed to be there two monsters beating hell out of each other if you guys have never seen it before Goldberg and Sid Vicious for the United States title Halloween Havoc 99 highly recommend you check it out Sid's face is just a crimson mask busted open and earlier in the night you know they got into a fight in the backstage area that had Sid already busted open before even made it to the ring and you know got EMTs or whatever the case may be medical staff trying to work on him and he's just screaming let it play Let it play it was the coolest thing ever man super cooling is you know what if we can get him back in the ring I think it's about time to call oh no on the Jackhammer apparently I thought it was going to be a jack knif Power Bomb but whoever owned this before me felt the need for it to be a jackhammer is that enough it was not oh nope he's not going to get up in time for me to nope that's okay we're doing a lot better than we were this did not start off as well as I was thinking it would that's okay cuz we are pulling that strap down we making our comeback I believe just got to be careful not to let him catch me with a pin me any any submissions that I can't get out of I'll be good to go now we're going to try for that super Flex again how about it we softened him up enough yes we have going straight up to the top floor I think it's time to go for a pin what do you guys think two nope not even a strong two count not even a strong two count that's okay oh Taste of real medicine camel clutch what do you think of that Chief wearing him down and look at that attitude meter going up HBK putting the boots to me reminds me of uh hean Vader from uh what what was it I believe SummerSlam right he goes for the elbow drop there's the Power Bomb nice yeah sha goes for the elbow drop Vader supposed to move he doesn't move so we stopped in midair he calls him stupid stupid Randy Orton would go on to do something similar to that years later if you guys recall how about it holding him up there making him think about it two WI be enough it is it was enough to got the job done what's this music man I'm just going to shut up for a minute while you listen to this [Music] [Applause] music nice yeah that is for his WCW theme the China White theme that's actually pretty darn close in as far as like the overall Vibe of the song very cool yeah whoever owned this before me I believe his name was Zach also based on some old files I've seen so other Zach nice job quick story before I sign off here I actually wrestle on the uh independent circuit around uh Nashville Atlanta Kentucky areas and in 2013 I had one of my first matches it was on a show that he was actually headlining here in Tennessee and as I was in the back and I was taking my boots off he walked up to me he didn't have to he was in a totally separate locker room for me and the other guys uh just because he had his dog with him and he was visiting with other friends kind of other other bigger stars that were on the show but he made it a point to come all the way over to me he put that big massive fist out to give me the big Sid fist bump and he said that was a good match you had him in the palm of your hand that was a good match and that meant the world to me he took the time to compliment me and say a few nice things to a a young up andc coming guy in the wrestling business that uh was just trying to do the best he could that meant the world to me and it still does so rest in peace said vicious thank you for
