Anthony Edwards Sounds Off On Magic Johnson After Championship Comments

Anthony Edwards let's get straight to mat Johnson went off on Anthony Edwards yesterday he said I never respond to a guy who's never won a championship he didn't win a college championship I don't even know if he won a high school championship God damn uh this was a response to an the award saying that Michael Jordan was the only player was skilled back in his era um now anth the awards was definitely probably wrong you know what I'm saying they they weren't as skillful as they are now the quantity of skill is in that the same as it is today but there was definitely more players with skill than just Michael Jordan obviously Magic Johnson is one of them Elijah Juan you know the list goes on Isaiah Thomas if you want to throw him in there as well um yeah they're definitely multiple players you could throw in there it's just the skill level isn't as high as what it used to be I can tell this hadit a nerve for Magic Johnson because usually Magic Johnson's all giddy he'll just tweet something out maybe say I love Ant Man though you know something like that but that I hit a nerve I ain't going lie cuz usually I feel like Magic Johnson is just such a h not a happy go-lucky type of guy but like he's never going to like go off on a player I feel like he usually boost up players more often than you know trying to sh them down or just throw like shots at them like this but as for the whole Championship thing I feel like you know you should be able to I don't like when people try to throw that Championship stuff around like just cuz you didn't win a ring you can't speak to this conversation or if you didn't play in the NBA you can't speak about this or kind of what like Shaq does to people you know what I'm saying so I disagree with that part like I feel like anybody should be able to talk but especially if you're in the NBA as well but it just I don't know he is right though like you know they was more players with skill it just I could tell that just struck a nerve from sorry magic keep your head up Anthony this is the first time I've seen people getting on hit the awards a little bit you know what I'm saying just a tap it you know but uh the whole Magic Johnson thing they like they'll probably start defending him again you know what I'm saying just all you got to do is just dunk on dunk on somebody or just thr another clip people get the dick rotting again don't worry brother you'll be okay my heart other news there's been a favorite for Rookie of the Year it's uh Zach Edy um I guess I see the vision you know what I'm saying he's playing with johnar you know if they can just execute a nice little pick and roll between that you know he's going to get a lot of rebounds off the misses from other players as well dude big body they ain't throwing that ball on the post he's too slow for that he's not going to do that in the NBA but I see the vision I'm say is you know like if Reed Shepard just gets in the game like if he has a significant role on the Rockets I don't know if he will cuz they do got a lot of like guards and stuff like that on their team so I don't know if he'll find a way to get on or how am go play him but he's just a prototypical a player can shoot pass score and he's going to put effort on the defensive end so don't be surprised if my boy Reed just comes out here and just snatches that award nothing than that I'm catch you the next one
