Is Code A FAILURE-The HONEST TRUTH About Boruto Villains W/ @Anime Balls Deep

what needs to be done to fix him as a villain and how to redeem him as he goes along his villain's journey to say code fans have been in grief counseling after the last manga chapter has been a bit of an understatement because so many fans have said that they flat out giving up hope for the character and their faith and code has expired faster than aydah's dried up when code confessed his love for her in the last chapter code has gone from a villain with high expectations to being in danger of being the borto version of dante which all my fellow black clover fans know you never want to be compared to dante dante wasn't just a sim he was a character who went from high potential to being the kona hammer of villains so what we're going to do now is we're going to look at what it is that actually makes a good villain and then i'm going to turn the video over to anime ball steep to discuss whether or not code has actually hit these boxes so as we all know a What Makes A Good Villain? strong villain can either make or break your story as a writer you want to make a great villain who should be strong and a worthy adversary to your hero they shouldn't be weak and easily beaten nor should they be so powerful that they can be defeated by a random chance or an act of god moment which we as anime fans like to call ass bulls a good villain needs to have the five following traits number one is powerful especially in a battle shonen however power is more than just physical might power can be their resources their influences followers and in the case of a femme fatale a woman who uses her charm to control people for instance like makima from chainsaw man power can also be the presence which is when it's done properly can actually cause the story and the readers to bend to the will of the antagonist the next trait is going to be intelligence effective villains are either highly intelligent or they're intelligent enough to avoid making dumb decisions a lazy writer or newbie will write a villain drunk off power and ambition which causes them to make mistakes which is something that a lot has shown in mangaka tend to do because it's very cookie-cutter storytelling a truly great villain stays two steps ahead of the hero and considers every option when they do make mistakes it's not obvious right away and their intelligence and planning serves as a solid force for the hero to actually overcome next we have immorality now that isn't to say that a villain has to have a lack of a sense of right or wrong oftentimes villains actually have a moral code but they are more willing to violate that moral principle of society to accomplish their goals like say kirei kotimine from the fate series being willing to believe in your own self-righteousness the point where you no longer see the normal standards of moral conduct applying to you is what makes a morality in a villain work so well in naruto we saw this in how nagato's goal for peace meant kidnapping and murdering gen turkey as a means to an end then we have a villain's pain the wounds that they carry this can be something physical like anakin skywalker missing limbs and needing the darth vader suit or it can be scars like you see on the face of the joker however some of the most compelling villains are those who have emotional psychological wounds like say shigaraki from my hero academia or makoto shishio from roni kitchen or naraku from inuyasha no human is born a monster but instead they're turned into one due to the damage done to them it's how they go from an innocent child to a homicidal maniac it doesn't have to be shown in a flashback it can merely be something that's hinted at that being said there's nothing wrong with being evil for the sake of being evil like say frieza from dragon ball but even frieza had a wound that was hinted at his paranoia about the saiyans getting zenkai boosts in power after the near-death battles and the potential of a super saiyan being created ultimately led to him destroying the planet of vegeta with no hesitation which led to his defeat on namek by son goku so earned finally we have drive which is what separates memorable villains from lackluster villains their drive to achieve their goal has to be something that makes them never want to give up unless the narrative setting up the villain in order to be redeemed in the lord of the rings sauron immortal was so driven to conquer that he viewed his body's destruction as being a setback eisen from bleach was willing to plot for hundreds of years for his goal and once the pieces came into play there were no lines he wouldn't cross in the same thing when it comes to the final villain of the series juha bach the drive of a villain is what makes the hero standing up to oppose them such a great conflict but it has to be done right which brings us to the question is Is Code A Good Villain? code a good villain does he have the potential to be a good villain where are we at currently and that's why i'm gonna turn it over to anime balls deep okay so ian has invited me on his channel because we all know from our last sport video the anime ballsdeep doesn't really like code i know sharing an opinion on the internet is like asking a prostitute if she's a virgin because the answer you're gonna get is a slap in the face and the pimp showing up putting a bounty on your head and now you're dead so from this analogy we can essentially learn that cold is a bottom girl meaning he's a [ __ ] with the highest value to the organization in this case boruto's story he's the main antagonist that was built up to take over ishiki's will the will to destroy earth and become atsuski god unfortunately this [ __ ] has no respect and you may be thinking why well the writers decided to give code many ls in a very short span of time which degraded his characters in the reader's eye especially since fans wait monthly for the chapters if the characters such as amado ada and demon openly mock the big antagonist multiple times calling him not intelligent and disrespecting him no diffing him in combat after he just unlocked his superpowers then why should we respect him exactly going back to the analogy that's like the bottom [ __ ] of a pimp having the least sales and still having the rank oh no no no no no that can't happen the other [ __ ] will be angry and say hey yo [ __ ] you make no money you have no clout you're not following the rules of our bim and they will take her out messing up the entire organization you following me to fix How To Fix Code In Boruto this problem code needs a w we were told he can take on naruto or sasuke one on one before his limiters but now with them off he can take out anyone he wants when he wants except for you know boruto and kawaki because they're the protagonists and this distributor one could argue that the damage has already been done code has flopped ishiki's will he got no diff by kawagi borja and demon what else can this guy do i would argue that none of us really believe what code says when a villain lacks weight in his words we stop believing in them and so far code has failed every task he has set out to do to fix this we need code to actually make a difference in the story stop relying on other characters to lead his character forward he should be making the plot move himself by making his own decisions at the end of chapter 71 code has a mental breakdown and this is with good reason but that means we need to see the redemption arc begin for us to even care again this man was supposed to become the strongest character of all with the limiters off so we need to see a full display of training and actual plot instead of characters that don't deserve their power level being rewarded for free code was rewarded the rank of the fourth strongest character in the entire series at 16 years old without having to struggle or work hard for it we know and have knowledge of naruto and sasuke struggled and before you called me an ogen fan i'm not even gonna regard them because we know they have taken the back seat in the story we know boruto's throat are missing kawaki their training and they work really hard so it's believable to us and we respect them but we still don't know enough about ko or his backstory or why he feels the way he does what hole in his heart did ishiki fulfill because we know through kawaki's version of the story he was abusive and he actually died by his hands what's the point of having faith in utsiski if you were just a disposable too are you really that damn bad me cold wait wait you kinda we know you're a simp but i digress this is the problem and why readers don't respect him getting a w from killing someone isn't the only way and people will only get even more angry if this guy kills naruto osasuke because he doesn't deserve it we need to know why code is who he is and use his own plot to carry the story forward rather than leaning on others to support him and that's when we have the dilemma Future Of Code In Boruto Time Skip code there are a few roads that this character can take one of the questions is whether or not his journey for revenge will be overshadowed by other plot lines code's journey needs to be strong enough to stand on his own two feet so that when he does build himself back up as a deal just suggested to you he's able to be a strong enough of a force that can stand up against our series protagonist borto as well as his helpers in the form of kawaki naruto sasuke sarda miski and etc but also impose a clear threat to boruto regardless as to if ada and damon are inside of high as allies if code doesn't become the strongest piece on the chessboard then he must at the very least become the most dangerous piece on the chessboard someone whose very presence makes both the characters in universe word for their lives and makes the readers unsure if the main cast is going to be able to survive its wrath similar to how ishiki kagia and modera each provided such a strong presence that for a time their defeat seemed impossible to even fathom code is where 12:00 - Villain Comparisons For Code shigaraki was where he'd been taken out so much and disrespected so often that he didn't seem like a legitimate villain to worry about he came off like a joke villain however while deku and his classmates grew more powerful and fought against other stronger villains shigaraki was in the shadows doing what needed to be done to make himself that same legitimate threat that we see in the manga currently who has become so powerful that not even someone as powerful as endeavor could have hoped to take him down in a one-on-one fight code right now has that option as one of his roads to redemption where he can go from being a joke villain to being a legitimate threat but as a deal said we need something to emotionally anchor ourselves to code similar how shigaraki has more than one emotional anchor that allows for readers to understand him and for the insane few such as myself to actually root form each and every chapter wordcoach journey goes from here we won't ever know but what i do know is that
