BERNIE PLAYED AMAZING WAS ABLE TO RETAKE THE LEAD LATE IN THE GAME. BUT IN THE FINAL AN INNING LAKE MARY SNATCHED THE CHAMPIONSHIP FROM BERNIE'S HANDS. THEY DID PLAY SO WELL, THOUGH. KSAT DID MAKE A WAGER WITH OUR SISTER STATION WKMG IN ORLANDO BEFORE THIS GAME THAT HAVE BERNIE LOST. WE WOULD DONATE $1000 TO LAKE MARY LITTLE LEAGUE TEAM. WE'RE GOOD FOR OUR WORD AND WE'RE GOING TO HONOR THAT WAGER AND DONATE TO LAKE MARY ALL STARS. SO EARLIER TONIGHT, I GOT TO TALWITHOB WG AS WEEKEND ANCHOR ERIK VON ANCKEN. I MEAN, IT WAS AN INCREDIBLE GAME, A REALLY CLOSE. >> WE HAVE LEARNED HOW MANY PEOPLE HERE IN CENTRAL FLORIDA LOVE LITTLE LEAGUE. I MEAN, THEY LOVE THESE KIDS. THEY'VE GOTTEN TO KNOW THESE KIDS AND BECAUSE OF THAT, WE'RE JUST TALK ABOUT HOW EVERYBODY WINS. WE HERE AT WKMG NEWS 6 IN ORLANDO. WE ARE GOING TO GIVE 1000 BUCKS. ALSO FORGET THAT THEY ALL WE GOT TO THE TEAM IN BOERNE BECAUSE WE THINK THEY HEARD IT. >> THAT IS INCREDIBLE. I'M SO HAPPY TO HEAR THAT. WHAT A GREAT SURPRISE. AND I WE CAN'T WAIT TO TELL THE TEAM ABOUT THIS AND THE FOUNDATION THAT'S LOCAL TO WAS. >> AND WE WE SAW HOW IN IT THEY WERE RELEASED WERE. BUT BUT THE IMAGES AFTER THE GAME AND, YOU KNOW, THE TEARS DON'T ROLLING DOWN THE CHEEKS OF SOME OF THOSE LITTLE GUYS. I MEAN, YOU JUST YOU FELL FOR THEM. THEY TRIED SO HARD. AS YOU SAID, IT WAS AN AMAZING GAMES BACK AND FORTH. I MEAN, AND YOU WISH THAT BOTH OF THEM COULD WIN. I KNOW I FEEL LIKE THAT'S AS CLOSE AS WE GOT TO BOTH OF THEM WINNING, THOUGH. THAT'S HOW PHENOMENAL THE GAME WAS. >> I THINK SHOWING HOW TALENTED THE TEAM HAS TO BOTH OF THOSE TEAMS. IT COULD HAVE GONE EITHER WAY. AND THAT'S JUST REALLY SOMETHING TO BE SO PROUD OF FOR BOTH TEAMS. I WWERE WATCHING AND WE SAID MULTIPLE TIMES, I KEEP FORGETTING THAT THESE ARE KIDS HOW YOUNG THEY ARE SO TALENTED. AND IT WAS ALMOST LIKE WE WERE WATCHING LIKE A PROFESSIONAL LEAGUE OR SOMETHING. IT WAS GOOD BASEBALL. YEAH. WE SAID ON AIR EARLIER THAT THIS WASN'T JUST GOOD LITTLE LEAGUE BASE NEXT TO A SCHOOL AND MENTAL. >> THEY PLAYED LIKE LITTLE PROS. YEAH. WELL, WE'RE GLAD THAT WE'RE DOING THIS TO JUST TO GIVE A LITTLE ATTENTION TO LITERALLY COW INCREDIBLE. THESE TEAMS ARE THE COMMUNITY BUILDING THAT IT CREATES.
