HERE'S WHAT I HAVE ON TAP FOR TODAY VERSUS WHERE WE SHOULD BE FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. THESE NUMBERS IN THE PRINT, THE SEAS WERE RANGING ANYWHERE BETWEEN 15 TO 23 DEGREES. SO TEMPERATURES ARE GETTING CLOSER AND CLOSER TO WHERE WE SHOULD BE FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. I'M FORECASTING 80 DEGREES LATER ON TODAY FOR DOWNTOWN SAN DIEGO. MOST OF THE INLAND COMMUNITIES WILL STILL BE A B IN THE MID TO UPPER 90'S. REALLY WARM IN REMOTE LATER TODAY FORECASTING A HIGH OF ONE 11 AND BREAK A SPRINGS. HIGH PRESSURE WILL GRADUALLY WEAKEN AND WASH. HAVE THIS KIND OF PARADE OF TROUGHS TO OUR NORTH SWINGING BY AND THAT WILL BRING COOLING BEGINNING TOMORROW, LASTING ALL THE WAY THROUGH NEXT WEEK, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO MONDAY. IN FACT, WE'RE LOOKING AT CLOUDY CONDITIONS, BLANKETING THE COUNTY TOWARDS THE START OF NEXT WEEK. SO TODAY ABOUT 2 TO 10 DEGREES COOLER TOMORROW, ANOTHER 10 DEGREES COOLER WITH PERIODS OF GUSTY WINDS, ESPECIALLY TOWARDS THE EASTERN SLOPES OF THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS DUE TO THAT ONSHORE FLOW. REMEMBER WHEN THOSE WINDS GO UP THE MOUNTAINS AND THEY COME DOWN, THEY STRENGTHEN. AND THEY ALSO BECOME DRIER WARMER THURSDAY. WE WILL HAVE SOME PATCHY MORNING FOG EXTENDING TOWARDS THE INLAND VALLEYS. DAYTIME HIGHS WILL REMAIN COOLER THAN AVERAGE ALL THE WAY THROUGH NEXT WEEK. SO STEPPING OUT OF THE WAY. HERE'S YOUR COASTAL 7 DAY FORECAST TODAY WILL BE NEAR NORMAL IN THE MID TO LOW 80'S AND THEN WE'LL DROP IT ABOUT 10 DEGREES OR SO ON WEDNESDAY. AND WE'LL STAY IN THAT RANGE ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND. INLAND AREAS WILL BE IN THE MID 90'S. IN COMPARISON WHEN WE COMPARE MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY, WE'RE TALKING UP TO 25 DEGREE DROP IN DAYTIME HIGHS TO TALK WEATHER WHIPLASH NOW TO AREA'S WILL BE IN THE LOW 90'S TODAY DROPPING ABOUT 10, 12 DEGREES TOMORROW. COUPLE MORE DEGREES ON THURSDAY AND WILL STICK IN THE MID TO UPPER 70'S ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND. MEANWHILE, FOR THE DESERT COMMUNITIES NEAR ONE 10 EXTREME HEAT FOR ONE MORE DAY.
