get slow to the ground and you drift that's drifting okay so when you jump and you jump you're touching the wall okay now you hit Square when you want to activate your speed boost and you get a speed boost when that right there in your right corner you see that right corner where it says surge that meter that big meter right there do you see that big meter next to you yes okay so when you fill that up with all those little electricity bolts you keep grabbing that gives you speed that gives you a surge meter now you have abilities in this game as well when you when you hit triangle you get an ability so that ability can be used it can either be a a shield it's just like playing uh um cart Rider drift this is literally cart Rider drift just your character's running instead of being in a car it's literally the same thing drifting jumping jumping all of that stuff is all here you just have to whatever attacks no they every there's attacks in this game you just haven't seen them yet there's attacks you can throw blades you get a sword you get like all of these crazy little abilities oh so the game is trying to show you how to use that stuff first like that's why you're going through the tutorial you got to finish tutorial so you can understand how everything works in this game a lot a lot a lot you guys are hearing my game audio right now you're not you're not hear hers that so he's the only and the uppercut that will help him recover he's the only character in the game that honestly off stage is even more dangerous than Black Adam other than that I will never be afraid to fight people off stage it's that's the point of black Black Adam he doesn't do damage crazy he's not a high damage character that's why people throw out so many attacks he's a knockback character so you can knock people out at like 40% 50% if you play correctly so when you like that's why like for me I don't waste side two I don't use side two and I don't spam it I only use side two when either I'm going for combos like trying to get like two uh uh um that's flammable dock cuz that's why I throw out one one side two and they throw out another hit and get the that slim dock then I'll throw out one one up one to get the electrical so that you di out of it give me electricity I just did like 60% damage if you don't if you di out of it I give get 60% damage on you off of one one side two that's flammable dog off of another one one up one it's a i bro I have a method to my madness bro like when I fight I have a complete method to my madness that's why I like how how do I win because if you don't know my damage if you don't know how much damage I get off my combos that's why like okay I got you at 60% and then I start playing The Edge really hard waiting for you to as soon combo and a guaranteed finish act with the followup right okay so as hey great plays uh uh Mr nice okay so so essentially like to break down to make to to make multiverses as simple as possible or or any fighting game as simple as possible um give me a second y let me all right so to make this as simple as possible right when you're playing multivers or you're playing any fighting game the whole point of fighting somebody is not to fight the character is to fight them you already understand the character people don't have a thousand moves in this game right it's not like how smash is where they have like tilts and and smash moves and heavy moves and and Jab combos they don't have all that in this game this game ain't that difficult right when you're fighting somebody the whole thing is they can jump against you they can Dash against you they can Parry you that's it that's it if you already have the answer to those things with your character it's easy to deal with this is why his Samurai Jack is so hard to deal with because he's trying to use Taz like Samurai Jack that's like for instance I'll show you a prime example like cuz again when I fight I try to get into the mind of my opponent I don't care about what I'm doing I try to get into the mind of who I'm fighting so when he fights he normally he likes to keep this distance between you right this distance right here allows for him to play this game like that so no matter what he does his moves hit even if he does this that hits this distance is a perfect distance for Samurai Jack everything he throws out basically hits from here because I watched him I'm watching him in a tournament and I'm watching him fight the subs and he retreats to the same spot right here you can't Dodge behind him and even if you do if you were to dodge behind him this is how slick his offense is I don't mean to air you out like this uh uh uh I don't mean to a you out like this Mr it to nice but but that's what I'm saying this is why like this is why how my mind how my mind works he likes to play here cuz if he does this he can't get behind him if he's back this far you can't get behind him so kick hits if if this don't hit all he does have a followup afterwards there's nothing you can do the only sandwiches you he gets this every time shame and every time so him up close if he is up close he normally just goes for like this right here because he already knows being this close with Samurai Jack especially if he Jabs and this happens to whiff and you roll if he's this close to you there's no point he'll just hit you with he'll just hit you with this because it's like you're you're gonna press a button against him it's Samurai Jack so he's so he's he's very good at range but once he does WH and you catch him you can punish him with basically anything okay so you never see him throw out risky stuff never throws out anything he never does this in in neutral never I've never never seen him do this in neutral the only time he use this move is if he's at the edge of the stage and then if he are at the edge of the stage he's always reversing like this he always is a reversal every time he's reversing okay so when you understand somebody's offense you already understand the basic part of their game right when he's using tasks he's not doing anything crazy the same way with me I'm not doing anything crazy with with with Black Adam I'm not I'm just playing to your off timing most fights most people when they fight okay this this how this how most people look when they fight right and I'll show you why why everything is so easily dodged so this this most people you you see how like attack immediately that's most people that's why they get Dodge so easily immediately throw attack throw another attack afterwards immediately throw attack throw attack afterwards that's most people okay the one thing I've learned about fighting in any video game is if you follow up with another attack your opponent is already expecting that I would you press the button the first time of course you're going to press another button you're going to panic but what happens if you press a button and then you back off for a sec the first time you back off they're expecting you to press another button and now you see okay they press the button it makes it easier for you to play them cuz now if I do this and they Dodge right instead of me going Dodge and I'm trying to H and get another attack in look if I they Dodge me look at who's look at I'm I'm I'm I'm negative so instead of me trying to instead of me trying to get this attack to hit that's not my point here my point is to see if you're dodging in in neutral here are you dodging when I do this if you are I'm going to continue my momentum so I can get away from you now I know I have to come up with a different approach because if I do charge this attack up it's not going to work so if I do this I'll probably do this and back up this time so I can catch you like that because I know you're gonna try to dodge past me if you're dodging away from me that's a completely different offense so let's say we're dodging away here I thought move out now I'm now I'm fully charging attacks because you're dodging away from me and I can stop here and put you in the corner they said Shaggy does that make sense and this wouldn't be the move here I wouldn't do s one I would do this because that's guaranteed for me to hit you here if you keep dodging away I will hit you with this is the you have in order to win fights you can't always be in flowchart you have to focus on what your opponent is doing each Dodge is different if they're dodging away from you if you have a multi-hitting move like you're playing bugs you notice your opponent keeps man if Mojo Jojo don't shut up I promise you bro if you're playing Mo if you're if you're playing with Bugs Bunny and you know your opponent keeps dodging away you should be spamming there why because he's putting himself in a position where the your move is still active this move is not active yes you can fully charge it but that still has the opportunity to whiff and if you whiff it you're going to get punished for it but this it's hard to whiff this it's hard to whiff it because it still follows you so you have to know this you have to be aware of this type of stuff right you don't want to attack like this this not it that ain't it doing this that's not it that's not it now with bugs right that's not it okay so how do how do you actually get in with bugs right how do we get in so the setups are a big deal so if we're here you throw a rocket right you know your opponent has two options either three two two options basically the one option he not dodging at you that's stupid because if they do you're just going to do this right you're going to meet them right at The Rim okay so if you call this in and they're in away from you that's a setup that's your set that's a clean easy setup okay that's this is something you have to be aware of so when I'm when I was fighting you and I'm going to pull up our footage so they can actually so we can actually see like what called it's not called you know DC DC where you can have all the DC characters and stuff like that it's not called that so this game is going to go through it's going to put in a whole bunch of WB characters no matter if we feel some type of way about it they got to go with they what they can afford or they got to go with what they can make you know it sucks it's just it's because when you when when you play nickel monia Allstars no matter how you feel about the game or say it died or whatever the case may be the game has every Nickelodean star that you want to play as it it might have the game may be different if they open up and make it free to play maybe if they make it free to play everybody goes back to playing it you know what I'm saying but at the end of the day like at the end of the day like the problem with the problem with the character selection is charact like Gizmo and and Gizmo and strip these are characters that could have a waited angry but it's based off of what's in the meta so Gizmo the the the new grimlin movie was coming out and that's what they came out I think Marceline and them got a show right now so that's why she's coming out um uh Jason uh if I'm not mistaken Joker has the The Joker movies coming out so that's why Joker makes sense in the game agent Smith don't make sense cuz there was no there was no Matrix movie so I'm not sure how that and there was no Jason movie so I'm not sure how they got through but again some stuff makes sense some stuff don't like like to to drop I I feel like it would have been way more advantageous to drop a matrix pack you dropped Morpheus Trinity and Neo I think that would have did more nobody would have complained and then you dropped Jason like like dropping agent Smith dropping agent Smith in a villain pack with Jason and Joker I just didn't feel like makes made sense yeah it could have been cheetah or Vixen how long you're going to be on I'm this my this their last match hey um Jason brand is getting rebranded as Jason Jason universe so it made sense for WB at the time right but again you notice how nobody picks Jason so that means that nobody's buying him nobody cares about the character like that's the problem like you you you want character that are popular you want characters that are that are being picked you want characters that um this strip is cold I'm going have to fight tiger cuz this his uh his strip is pretty cold bro but that's what I'm saying like you want your characters to be popular you want to you want it to feel like your investment matters if you invest in a character right you invest in you you put money into this character you put funds into him you want this character to get picked because now it means you're going to see them on YouTube videos YouTube videos means people are going to buy the character and if they buy the that means you're going to buy the stuff in the store but nobody picks Jason nobody picks Jason so again he makes sense when it comes to oh this ad Jason but he's not a character that matters so it hurts you in the long run when people aren't buying if you notice every time you run into Jokers they all got that don't care if this character got some of the cleanest moves you ever seen before they got some fire attacks they don't care about that they care about who are you dropping that Scooby-Doo with Scrappy that's going to draw people it's going to bring people to the game why do you think fortnite only drops bangers they don't drop non- bangers they only drop you know why they dropped Travis Scott with I'm just being honest I just feel like these are other girl characters I could have really like put in there I would have just taken Starfire I would have taken Starfire Raven and the Powerpuff Girls I would have just took them I would have took Dei from Dexter's Laboratory and uh uh Powerpuff Girls and Raven you could have left Nubia to the side keep it being with you like that's just that's just that's just my that's just my opinion poison almost forgot about poison ivy I mean we could have added poison ivy to this bit you feel what I'm saying Welcome Back Billy like we could add a poison KN to this bit it's like you're going to get that mixed review because even though yes as a fighting game you're trying to add like you're trying to you know that the game gonna be crazy you know what I'm saying like I know y'all gonna make newbie a fire bro I know her character going to be fire I know her combo's going to be clean I know her setup's going to be clean the problem is will she sell will anybody care about her because even if she is good that's going to be for the fighting fans but what about the Casual people this is why fortnite and Call of Duty are so high up there because they appeal to non sweats they appeal to the casuals to get them to spend money and so I work with Call of Duty I get the opportunity to talk to them um personally you know what I'm saying like I get to go go to Studios and talk to devs and ask them questions and find out like what's really going on and how they come up with deals and how they so to know that they're that like you got to put in characters people care about and then also it's the season save the haunted characters for The Haunting season save that for the Halloween season Jason I feel like was too early so many other IPS yall could work with like we should have a hero pack by now a true hero pack a cowardice hero pack like for Halloween there should be six characters being dropped a a villain pack you could have Leatherface Freddy cougar and Chucky if you want to you know what I'm saying like uh and then for the the cowardice hero pack you could drop Scooby-Doo Courage the carolly dog and Billy and Mandy I'm just saying like these are like what I don't like about fighting games is that they only drop two two characters at a time and then you go like 40 50 days playing with that character so now everybody runs this character into the ground and now you don't care to see Samurai Jack no more you know now you're just waiting for the next character because it's only two characters and that one character comes out and then we wait three weeks for the next character now all the YouTube videos they been ran dry all the tournaments mid-range drop like no if you dropping three car like Call of Duty they drop Four Guns when they when they come out with a new season they drop out like at least four guns they already know how it's going to be so they Dro Four Guns two two melee weapons new perks stuff like that right so you got to do the same thing either that or you got to completely rewire the perk system to make characters feel new the perks the signature perks should feel like mkx's variation system the character should feel different I should have different like Beetlejuice he feels like a MKX character why because his variation when you change his signature perk his whole offense CH like you got different routes different options Samurai Jack you have a whole different approach at how you fight with him with the focus meter one then the other one like bro you get great health like I mean but the characters that are already the base characters some of their stuff sucks black Adam's perks are terrible velma's perks are blah you know what I'm saying like like it just you got you got like Bugs Bunny has the the the perk but Beetle juu got the same one and his is better because his actually works for combos so it don't make sense so how is Beetle Juice's is the same move but his is better sub Superman his perks suck he got the ice breath then the side two and then then 5% right if I'm not mistaken and then the the the jump up and the smack to the ground okay what about the laser why we need a perk for the laser you got to do something with that you got to at least add a perk to give you the directional command grab again on the on the wall like when you give a perk for it so you got to SP you got to spend something for that right like these are these are things where I'm saying if the game can figure out if the com if if play if PFG can figure out how to make this game continuously feel new because that's the problem where we are with gaming now we play a game for two weeks is so simple that we get used to it and then we don't want to play it no more because it's two y'all remember Rumble verse you remember knockout City if you don't remember it's because they didn't even last a year both of them games gone I'm talking about shut down because they were so simple that once the sweats maxed it out there was nothing else to do that was it and multiverses almost falls into that place if you don't add that variation system if you don't have Perks that TR make the game Dynamic each perk should feel like a Call of Duty perk when I add this perk on this perk changes my character up now what would have been better to me instead of a general perk system right like the five% like the speed force I really don't feel a difference can I be real that's 5% speed force I don't feel a difference at all pugalis you only get like 2% more damage the best perk in the game is that's flammable doc doc and air Walker and two fast to dodge because those literally change the game change it completely right that third perk system is probably I think has the worst perks the last one has the worst ones and then the other one that would be like it' be like if you taunt they get enraged why these perks don't make sense it doesn't help the game so how I feel should have win is do y'all remember in Super Smash Brawl you were able to like no I think it's an ultimate you're able to change your character special moves again Mortal Kombat Le is one this is the same company that's producing Mortal Kombat mk11 the only reason why mk11 did bad is because they stripped everything away that MKX had MKX if MK1 would have been MKX with the c fully customizable variation MKX mk11 would have been the greatest fighting game we've ever played hands down it would have been the greatest Mortal Kombat we've ever played with the old perks there was so many perks that the game was broken because it was so many perks that changed everything right now we got perks that don't do anything really not really either the signature perks are the main focus what we should have did was we should have took from mkf and we should have focused on giving variations because mind you Superman don't fight the same in Smallville than how he does in Justice League he don't fight the same so being able to have moves from different versions of your favorite character like let's say I don't want to use the with Superman you know his jump his n right I don't want to use that I want a different move let's say we want a command grab like how Jason has a command grab let's because you guys or let's say like uh how Jason does his teleport y'all ever notice how in most shows or most like Justice League Superman will go from where he is and teleport behind you like behind the person really fast right he does that a lot in almost everything what happen if I want that to be my neutral because all of these superheroes have different moves like Batman Batman has if you played The Batman Arkham series have you notice how many gadgets he has he can drew a little draw bomb and all that other stuff like he don't just have battle rangs he has a lot of stuff right so if they would have took those that perk system and made it specific to character instead of having General perks that do nothing really that affect the game and I think that's why people complain so much and I'm saying it's in a place of love because I play so many fighting games and I understand that perk systems are hard to deal with when you play marel versus Capcom right from one to two to three each time you pick a an assist each time you change the assist it changes how you fight completely because the assist changes some are defensive some are counters some are offensive some buy you time for setups what do these perks do absolutely nothing right honestly if you think about it absolutely nothing you have to combine that Slamm dock with puglet to get a little bit more damage but honestly I can really you can really fight without him you can honestly fight without him nobody should have 5% nobody no should have 5% you should not get 5% generally all over the board no what is that extra 3% damage nobody should it's basically useless what people should have is if I look at your perks if I see your variation at the top of your screen I need to learn it's a level of learning to make the game more in depth when I look up at the top of the screen and I see that you have on you're playing with um let's say you're playing with with uh I want to pick a character that has like a lot of variations of themselves let's say you're playing with Wonder Woman right so when I look up at the top I see that she has lasso of Truth with this lasso of Truth when she throws it at you it wraps around you and she can swing you and then throw you instead of it hitting you and then bringing you back to her she can actually swing and just throw you right so it has good knockback it doesn't go into combos well so it's one of those that you just got to make a good read okay her second one is instead of her having uh uh her armor attack she doesn't have armor she can fly or she can call in her jet y'all know that Wonder Woman has a jet she can call in her Jet and it flies across the screen to take and it's an anti-air to take away all jumps it changes your character and it makes it because when you play Super Smash you have a bunch of moves it's a lot more moves way more moves than multiverses right so if you add this this this that's the reason why we love Multiverse or if you just instead of them Pi picking perks do what MKX did just make different variations of each character so if I want to pick Wonder Woman from the old Justice League how she fought she couldn't fly but she fights more like how she fights in this game okay then you had the other Injustice version of you y'all played Injustice right so you've seen how she fights in Injustice she don't fight nothing like how she fights in this game and Injustice she can throw her shield and it boomerangs and it comes back to her y'all feel what I'm saying like now I have to it's a learning each everybody can play different with that character but reason why we hate it is because every Shaggy plays the same every Wonder Woman plays the same it's not the dev's fault it's just YouTube does that YouTube makes it to where hey copy and paste what I'm doing that's why you watch me I'm not here to teach you how to be good at the game I'm here to teach you how to follow me but if you get cooked it ain't my fault you didn't learn how to analyze characters you didn't learn how to read your opponent you're just learning how to copy and paste what I'm doing and mimic my combos that's it but if there was a variation system to this game we're talking about a completely different game here so I like the fact that we have multiverses and they're up in their game and they're doing much more the the biggest issue is hoping that every time a season comes out people don't just play it for a week and then be done with the game because it feels like well the characters are not changing if you look at Mortal Kombat 1 the entire game they are literally switching up everything from The Cameo moves to the meter to combos to setups to the character moves they're almost everybody's getting new moves because they did notep paare the game the way they should have and I don't know and it seems like it kind of moved over to multiverses where you the characters like these are still the same moves it's so it's like they're the same moves the game is slower it's slowed down not that that's a bad thing that's a good thing because now we can play neutral and do footsies and all that other stuff and now you can really see who's good and who's not good but there's no difference between that guy that plays Black Adam and me that plays Black Adam besides the fact that I'm more of a counter player but it doesn't look like it when I'm when I'm fighting it only looks like it when you're when you're watch like when you're watching me and you're a sweat but it doesn't visually look like if I'm a casual all I'm going be is like all they do is clap all they do is clap okay if you've ever seen Injustice Black Adam he fights completely different he got to dive kick he he throws electricity like it it patrols at the ground like he has a whole different kit and you got you have a game where you have a game where you can have characters literally play each variation can make each character play very different I'm a Batman fan but I just don't like that every Batman player plays the same to me except for like Nate and Nate is the only one when I feel plays different besides that every Batman players play the same sucks but that's it all right look I'm out of here
