of under 21's rugby league uh back back on the agenda used to be frantic betting in the under 20s I think this is this just doubles the fun and doubles the action for us it is very very very exciting from a cering point of view a some of the the oh look look that's not throwing out the bus that's not called Roos this just called little uh uh nice little wages oh my gosh some of the team in and out some of the some of the mov they very very exciting you just it's a chip head overs bet for the first eight weeks of the year every time oh it's going to be fantastic it's um fun little story about uh what fox were a bit filthy about um the National Youth competition being disbanded uh it used to rate four times as high as the Super Rugby games they used to show on television so FY that the uh uh they wouldn't be able to show up anymore so unlucky to them but poor old rugby there are completely cast now they've got to deal with thec humiliating them again I think it's all it's just all upside and it' be great to see and the bookmakers will be licking their lips I would have thought it's pretty hard to take uh some of the big money on the under 20s and um yeah some of the biggest under 20s punters they not with us or some of them are um in the clink so it's G GNA be interesting I do remember I do rememberr one the um new football stadium one is nothing with a ro this was just and and obviously at the time these days were like coming through but they W as speak the um yeah so lron Mitchell and Joseph Maru are going to be playing in the under in the under 20s you probably want to row the last few years has been not exist I did like in our warmup we were sort of talking about the US Open and you mentioned how boring tennis was cuz you know the top four seeds they just go on and have won everything for the last 20 years Mark reminds us which is probably fair I'm just going to put a bit of a a graphic up on the screen given that penrith have won the last three and uh if you have a look at the graphic that we're just about to produce storm of the minor Premier here and for the last what's that 11 years we had roosters storm and Panthers uh minor Premier so that's alarm bells for me if uh if you look at the AFL um and their draft system uh you'll see a lot more variety there you could nearly call this boring and then if if I look at the last a 11 or 12 winners of the NRL Premiership I've got Panthers three times I've got you got six different Premier you got six different Premier yeah but then if you stretch for another year it's the storm in 2012 so year Seagal back at 7 in 2011 and stretch back all you got the dragons that's that's 18 te since 2010 and if you scratch it if you go back to 2009 and then 2007 you got two scratchings I can see it there's a little other two teams you can ask so it's not a boring competition and can you explain this at the top why is the minor Premier ship looking so skewed there with only three three clubs do they pinch or the T is it brown paper bags I'm I'm alleging that I'm not saying it is but what's how how well run certain clubs are but it's like the M Prem are so little value that teams like pen tanked a couple years ago I rest of all their players a chance to win the mprip people don't care it's like you want a top four spot there is definitely advantage in finishing top two after that people just so um yeah the best T of them one things that the has to be careful with last of bit all this draft garage is like the biggest load of absolute bollocks in the world no matter what SP is with the AFL all you do is get massive T tanking at the bottom look at look at how look at the number of wins from wooden storm clubs in the last uh the last 10 years in the NRL video we'll tell tell a certain story what the difference is where the NRL is going to find a problem l a bit is parody's always been the key absolute key for the but I think was some the the mid the early 90s to to the roof in turn row teams no there's no back toback Ms now where that's G skewed is the salary cap and the same for every Club but it's getting to such a point that players are willing to take less money because the the marginal difference between saying somewhere your like for 00,000 and going somewhere you for a million dollars it was go just stay where I lo for th000 whereas in in the old days seen yeah 300,000 or 500,000 yeah a fair percentage right so that's where the that's where we kind of see it stretch out a little bit the top over the last three or four years something pb's going to want to keep it close ey I would have thought how does he do that so then how does he fix that because he's obviously got a fair bit on his hands he's doing a great job of trying to sell Rose Hill but how do they fix the salary cap issue that you just spoke about for NRL to make let's let's not misconstrue the words said I didn't saying it was an issue the in the near future what what they need what they need to do is just keep a preone LD on the cap and that means I would think stretching out Sports a little bit more so they've got like 11 million for for 30 players now Mak 11 minutes at 32 plays that's what they need to do we can we can pick that one up maybe at the start of next season Once More players get traded or or move across to the uh minor Premier clubs that we've just displayed on the screen mg it is a break in AFL world this week AFL Review but wow what a exciting Saturday oh Sunday sorry uh afternoon that was Carlton one of the biggest chokes of your life um and then uh you've had Port ad just steamroll Freeman who were pretty incipit with the ball they were sloppy and carton get the saloon passage in so I guess the the result prior was all academic especially with the Western Bulldogs uh doing a pretty good job of gws uh um can't really uh think that Collingwood and Freeman will deserve to be in the finals and I think the top Eight's been pretty warranted in terms of U the consistency across the entire of the the season obviously Carlton are decimated by injury so I guess they deserve a bit of a chance to uh Salvage their season yeah it was a great Sunday scoot it was um yeah very exciting all three games actually which they needed cuz uh unless you had some good good oil or information whatever you want to refer to it early week there was some philps going around scoot there was some uh well I'm going to say this end end of season trips were certainly paid for this is going to be some fat Babs around the world scoot wherever they travel because uh there was some absolute lay downs West Coast laid down to jalong the betting was was was crazy um your hawks just you know betting a practice match it it was a fill up as well um you know and then uh you know Sydney doing the job Brisbane pulled up late you know and kick the last five just to you know tease their supporters again for next year poor bombers um but yeah the Sunday was unbelievable like you know the um you know the dogs Giants I think the Giants might have taken a bit easy scoot with the uh the weather the way it was they pulled a couple of players out uh on the morning of because um I think they were quite happy to stay at home and play Sydney um week one of the finals so um yeah Carlton were um you know they'd worked hard under under man all game and then basically the choke at the end was pretty poor and yeah if they' missed that um the finals because of that would have been very disappointed but yeah freem men or uh you know that they match Caron's effort against bodly in the last four games of the year they were in the top four with the month to go and lost their last four to uh to miss out but yeah I think overall scoot I think you're right I think the the top eight teams um is where most of the Year's been for form um Carlton probably decimated by injuries they probably the only one that don't deserve uh or probably won't participate too heavily their big Outsiders week one so um you know and Port Adela just keep flying under the radar skot you know our two preseason bets Sydney and Port they've landed the onew slot so um you know both are double figures at the start of the year so yeah we're pretty well placed there at the moment I think Porter going under the radar massively I think they'll take care of JAL long week one which we'll um cover shortly and Sydney can do the job at home which have been pretty strong this year against the Giants they've won their last three against them then yeah we're a chance to never no scoot cards might fall and we might have the onew slot in the grand final day and uh just sit back and enjoy it outstanding stuff aflw begins uh tomorrow night uh you're AFL W pretty good at this Caper early Carlton $31 free bet I'll probably take the gws Giants hoping that they uh they knock off the swans early but yeah it's going to be a fascinating uh final series but it's hard to hard to go outside the the top two Port outad yeah I want to believe you mg but uh they've just let us down too many times to to make it but I've got a lot of respect for or more respect for Ken hingley than most especially most Adelaide people I think he's a great coach but um yeah I'm not a a big believer in Port been burnt too many times I I think I don't know how it runs so much in the NRL but definitely in the AFL the statistics um you know if you just taking a liance say through the 2000s through this Century um you know the amount of teams that play off in the Grand Final win the grand final finishing 1 2 and four three seems to be a bogey bogey slot for whatever reason but yeah just a massive advantage to the top four sides so I'm very happy for the two teams that we're on to uh you know slot in at one one and two and if they get the win this week then obviously get the week off straight into the prelim and normally home final at that stage of the year um B's well for playing off in the Grand Final so yeah happy with the with the book and I think uh the team the team the other matches to watch is obviously the two informed teams are the Bulldogs and hawthor we will lose one obviously this week but yeah the winner out of that is definitely going toh scare some uh whoever loses from um the top four team scoot that's going to be a tough match up for whoever they face yeah it's going to be an absolute cker I might have to slip down and have a captain that one in the flesh Brown low metal prices crippa $234 day cost 250 uh luy Neil $750 the bont $15 song $21 who gets price these up but pretty much none of them can win for mine so I just don't think there's a lot of meat on the bone outside I think that you know especially as bet Fair as a guide as it gets closer you'll see some big drifts on these ones you know like you know Bon will start you know longer than 20s merits far too short so on can't with wi green you can have the rest so I think uh Crips and day Premiership success is is defense Bullocks considering fewer tries per G than any other team and have kept team SCS in the second I she Umble four or fifth absolutely Contender I would parent this open 10 Port um I don't think it's got too much in it to scoot I think around that 10 to 12 range is about right um we got the third best defense in Port against the third best offense so I think that's going to be where it's going to be one port of one six in a row at home um happy to have him a ticket for the Premiership no need to bet and early on the total scoot I'd be leaning just to the that M are in I think the bogs are probably a b to exited a loss wouldn't be the worst things for can be right now unfortunately our pressing for top four spots they won't be taking it easy but mly one n the last 10 certainly the wood late but Bulldogs covered 15 of the last 20 I think the market just has their wrong way wrong still um they've covered nine of the last 10 at night six the last seven against top eight Team Six the last eight of the course so uh small bit of the dogs not getting over the top here but um probably the last few weeks I kind of maybe a little bit I'm waiting for a little bit of a but say this year so we'll just roll on have SW on the bards I think you just being a little bit cautious over cautious as a loyal follower not used to success but no exactly I think your Hawks because at the G Bulldogs have only played there twice this year and gone one and one and you know for mine it's a home home game to uh Hawthorne it's not like the Bulldog crowd's going to scare the Hawks either so um I I think the crowd will be pretty um 50/50 and yeah I think the advantage is with the Hawks and don't be surprised if there's a bit of a swing in the batting here but yeah I just think there'll be offense here and the Bulldogs um are going to have to score you know at least 90 closer to 100 to get this job done scoot so over 164 is too low for me Hawks have been riding high for a long time and I think the only uh negative that I can find about the Hawks is maybe the break won't do them any good that could be the uh big big key like they' been up and about and obviously the the kids bodies sort of get tied and can sort of knock up so if uh they come back in the similar um vein of form and amount of energy especially their pressure off the ball I think they can roll the doggy so fascinating to see how that one rolls out but uh jeez whatever they in this year's final Series be chips in for 2025 I'll have to find every dollar that I've got to back him for the flag next year I and there are the team Dolphins versus Broncos let's NRL: The Dolphins v Brisbane Broncos have a look at this one at suncorp Stadium uh madesi Broncos $45 275 Dolphins 6 and 1 half the line 52 A2 the total wow I know the uh the bronos are on the edge of the eight but $145 seems sickly short about uh those boys oh yeah me out of that um yeah look great Clash rivalry Clash uh doesn't doesn't quite name Q Clash but uh they'll they'll survive um big big game at some loser is out the year winner keeps the hopes and Liv one more week uh BR won all three matchs against the bridge to two Sydney teams he loves it I still I still want to know which Bri this is about so true that's why I brought it up you love it it's the third time they played this year you love Battle of the bridge I tell you I do love to the B last time there was a whole lot of freeways not too many bridges conting Western City with her with the city yeah Battle of the bridge third time they played this year scoot um yeah I know you're a fan of the gws which is fine I'm glad I kept you off the Sydney train because uh you know you you were toring with them when they were going yeah aaring now they're back they're back in gear they've had their little uh mid to late season slump won the last three then they've won their last three against the Giants won both of them pretty comfortably this year scoot won by 29 and 27 points at home they got the best defense against the Giants who have actually ranked ninth in defense so that's going to be their Achilles heel um yeah if I wasn't even involved in Sydney so much on the flag and just trying to get him through to the last four m a seven cheek for me I think at home the only downside for me was Sydney they got a full list back Pap paple will come back and play with Mack and Ernie um so they won't be missing a player is uh just their day record scoot you know the only day final and somehow Sydney have seemed to got it uh you know seemed to got that fixture they're only five and four during the day where at night they're 12 and two on the year so Swan's love playing at night so for me that's the only downside I think Sydney will take care of business against the Giants to the roosters and uh Cambra on Sunday afternoon 4:00 fixture here and NRL: Sydney Roosters v Canberra Raiders the roosters do6 530 the Raiders 15 1 half the line and 52 and a half the total at top sport uh the way you're talking about the roosters not being able to do well not looking great bit of flare you know the way sort of Ricky Stewart coaches I'm I'm leaning plus am I guessing right you are guessing right um just small I don't have a lot of faith in camera but uh are scoring out more against P 21 six against the spread the last four G so overall there and C a pretty good story they've covered five their last seven on the road six their last seven on the road as more no knock on the roost Roost Roost put on uh 34 plus since the last set so let's a defensive thory uh I think that the Raiders can get to uh 20 points here so uh I'll be back in the plus outstanding stuff so good way to finish your Sunday afternoon responsibly prisman Carlton uh is the AFL: Brisbane Lions v Carlton Blues last one feels like a bit of a dead rubber I've sort of written both of these sides off $128 355 the blues 23 half the line and 166 A2 I say that because I think whoever gets through this game uh will be getting knocked around in the second week but uh mg Carlton it'll just hinge up on there for forward line gee they could have done with some of their key forwards late in the game last week but uh well it'll be it'll be 11th Hour stuff won't it next week to see which way the market goes here yeah the early Market's been for um definitely been for the favorite here they opened 20 so it's already gone to 23 um it looks like they're going to you know they could get anywhere from maybe three or four up to six or seven players back um which is going to be a lot to change going into a final scoop but you know there's a lot of keys that need to come back in for Caron to be able to compete with Brisbane up in Brisbane um you know they got the second best defense and you know they you know Caron need the offense against Brisbane to be competitive to have any shot to win this game because um Carlton leag points there 13th rank defense which is just non-existent so you're right with Caron they're just going to have limited influence I I can't see them beating Brisbane but yeah I can't come into the price but I think this you know unless all these players come back for Caron I just think the market might continue to uh creep through the mid 20s here for Brisbane and uh if they play the form I just think they'll get the job and move on um I think D and cartton have had too much pain on the back end here yeah I think uh yeah well as I said it's a dead rabbit zero interest for me but what's of Interest with me is the brown low package so that's $44 so uh I'm waiting with beted breath for uh the bookie CET or markets this is one of the biggest betting events of the Year Bar None you got the Melbourne cup you got the AFL inter ground finals you got origin and then the brown low somewhere in the mix it could be as big as nearly all of them or just just behind the Melbourne cup really that's how big the Brown low medal betting is and even top rope tesi who is anti AFL I'm going to say anti because he is he doesn't think the season started but the best thing is The Season's finished and you can bet on the brown low and this is the one thing that he acknowledges that the AFL do better than the NL because they can't even figure out how to do a proper daily M which Drome Hugh is going to win anyway so make sure you get the brown pack because uh you can bet your brains out responsibly look I don't know I don't have no idea what I'm backing every year but I like to go absolutely nuts I don't know whether they play well but much like Eurovision I love say the numbers T over I'm getting excited about the voting it's a it's a wonderful event and I'll tell you what my my advice to the AFL over the new AFL bosses after Gil left um just get rid of the Season just do just do just do weekly voting one weekly rail would be very exciting they could just like just an AI generated comp just a fantasy AFL your cup of tea absolutely all right on a serious note uh good luck on the weekend uh especially you top R because you've got real action and we're sort of just playing with ourselves over here in AFL World will'll be taking the misses out for dinner lunch and tea and getting the brownie points so we can raw home for the last four weeks of the finals and dominate the
