it's fantastic for British tennis and I just can't believe how he performed he St Ste out there like there wasn't a worry in the world like it was any other match and he absolutely demolished the demon I was so impressed with him I can't quite believe he did this to somebody who is a top 10 player in the world and somebody who was having a pretty good season as well dinor didn't seem to I don't know it didn't seem to stick together anything he was trying to put together on the court today didn't seem to work Jack Draper served well and not only did he serve well I think all of the shots his forehand backand and his volleying looked good as well he made good decisions on approach shots and come into the net and you can see here 84% of first serves won and when he's in that type of form on his first serve very very tough to beat you can see hit 40 winners as well to Alex deor only 21 there and just a really impressive performance as they're saying yet to drop a set I'm just so stoked for him so proud that he's managed to sort of turn the corner it's always been a bit of an issue going deep in slams due to maybe going into longer matches and he hasn't dropped any sets yet so maybe that's the key for Jack he said uh after his match it's amazing honestly to be out here for my first match on the biggest Court in the world it's a dream come true for me thank you for the support it means a lot they say you lost to Alex three times coming in what was the biggest difference today and he said I think I played a solid match I feel the best fitness wise I've been in a long time that's where Alex has gotten me in the past I also think he was struggling a bit with something which may have helped me a bit but credit to Alex he's an amazing player and fighter we're going to have many more battles to come and that is guaranteed Alex De Manor still a young uh guy on the tour and still applying his trade and still growing as a player through the rankings as well I expect
