Now to a health alert. The CDC says deli meats could be the possible cause of a deadly Listeria outbreak across the nation. In recent months, 28 people across 12 states have gotten sick including two in Virginia. Many of the patients reported eating meats that were sliced at a deli counter. Listeria is most harmful to those who are pregnant 65 or older and those with weakened immune systems. The CDC recommends always heating meats to 165 °F or until it's steaming hot.
