Pete Carroll Talks About Coaching Future

all right everyone so Pete Caroll is no longer the coach of the Seahawks but he talked about his coaching future during a recent interview so this is what he said I could coach tomorrow I'm physically in the best shape I've been in in a long time I'm ready to do all the activities that I'm doing and feeling really good about it I could but I don't really I'm not Desiring it you know at this point this isn't the coaching hiring season we'll see what happens I'm not really I'm not waiting on it at all I'm going ahead I got other things I want to do that I'm exced about and I'm going to see how all that goes it's been 40 something years 48 years or whatever coaching and that's it I feel okay about it so this feels like someone who's interested in coaching again but also it doesn't mean he needs to he's not like I need to coach again uh I'm still a little bit shocked that Seattle ended up you know parting we them I understand they clearly were looking to get younger they were clearly looking to kind of just reshape everything but this is a team that you know you have Kenneth Walker you have DK metf you still have lock it this was you have some guys on defense that are really I mean just studs right so I was a little shocked that they decided you know we're going to kind of not give him even one more chance at it we're not going to give him one more run to try to build something here because it's not like this is a team that is oh my God they have no Talent you know they did have a good skill set um you know in a variety of different players that could be utilized to win a championship down the line so I was a little bit shocked by that but they went a separate way and I think Pete Carol's in a good spot you know and he deserves that he deserves to be in a good spot like you said the guy's been coaching for 48 years so now we can kind of sit back and go you know what we'll see what ends up happening so thank you all for watching and let us know what you think should P Carol stay uh should he try to get back into coaching should he look for a job next season what team should hire him if you think he can or should he just say I am done thank you all for watching and we'll see you next time
