sometimes you have to you know be an adult and say you know something I was wrong for that I apologize sometimes you don't apologize because you stand behind what you do but if you continue to work people will go on to something else right you know I remember my man Gilbert Arenas he made the comments about uh when South Sudan you know lost to Team USA by one point he went off he said man y almost lost in the air up there you know remember that movie yeah you know he's like yo you know like for example South Sudan I remember they interviewed some of the guys the whole country does not have a single indoor basketball well dang put that gave yeah of course but that doesn't mean they're not athletically inclined or gifted well yeah but being athletically inclined and gifted playing against LeBron Curry KD and so forth you expect a bigger gu between the numb I'm me tell you something let me tell you something they're hungry and they're talented I mean they're athletically inclined so and if some you catch somebody the right way you can win I think it's it's it's a misnomer to believe your reputation don't play the game you do your reputation don't fight the fight you do what you did last time didn't what the only thing that counts this moment right now with these people this opponent and I think it's the arrogance of us here to believe that your expertise your athleticism your prowess should should win the game for you don't you still got to play yeah but none of these guys were in the NBA you see what I'm saying like you're talking about the best NBA players essentially in the world all playing on one team the score should not have been that close I remember when and I understand Gilbert probably didn't come out right because he was trying to be funny and silly and kind of bash Africans at the same time I get why people got mad at him but he had a valid point that it should not have been a one-point game it should not have been a onepoint game I can understand if a bunch of South Sudan people who are already playing on NBA teams came back and and started doing their thing none of these guys were NBA players none of them not a single one so the score should not have been this close I think Gilbert being at one point one of the top NBA players period a zero Agent Zero has a right to say this over the rest of us who are just you know watching it on TV hey man I think that sometimes hey man you you could I just think you're forgetting that men men who are athletic and crime men are rise up to the challenge well David had to fight Goliath nobody there there are those things that happen where the moment you can have something internal inside you that pushes you P your n past your natural confines your limitations and you can win I think as an athlete it says a lot about someone who believes that his setting is surrounding should have more of an impact than they do if you should win just because you should win doesn't mean that you're opponent thinks that well ultim bu Douglas shouldn't have beat Mike Tyson he did that's a little different both of them were professional boxers these were all athletes though they were not playing there was no indoor courts they were all men they were all men I understand they're tall and strong if this was an armed wrestling competition I can see how they would come close or even let me tell you something that that laser Fair attitude that Gilbert is I mean and his thing they probably thought what he thought yeah until I real close that's they thought and I watch that game and I and I rooted for him I did you wanted LeBron to lose I didn't want LeBron to lose but I I rooted for man why the I everyone roots for the underdog I get it I get it I get it I was like I hope these [ __ ] because two things their men and you were Cocky and Confident yeah and they caught you flat footed oh look and almost and almost had the biggest can you imagine the biggest upset yeah that would have been the biggest upset in sports history that that would have been bigger than like Buster Douglas anything beating Mike Tyson yeah if they would have won oh my God they scared the [ __ ] out of me they scared the [ __ ] out of me but they're men on a on a on a in the athletic Arena who know that they you know it's some people that my my my son he was a he fought for a while right he was a UFC fighter okay and he wait wait wait wait your son who has as was actually a UFC fighter yes he fought like four times right in the UFC in theu well he fought in Thailand it was a kickbox I'm sorry okay sorry so he fought and I remember he came on one time and he won all four fights and I said I didn't want him to do it anyway I'm like you already got this thing going on you can't lose no more brain cells we need to only you can say these yeah you get kicked in every one we going take care of you forever but um he came home and he said he didn't want to do it anymore and I said why he said cuz after the fight he said the guy wouldn't go down I beat him up he never you know he didn't hurt me at all but his his wife picks him up in a beat up car um uh he's all baned bloody gets in the car and they drive off and he went you know what this dude is doing this cuz he has to do it right he said I'm going home my daddy loves me I'm going you know what I mean that's what South these [ __ ] can you imagine the pride they would have they would have had if they won if they won oh they named the country after it wouldn't be South Sudan anymore it'd be whatever their names are exactly and sometimes that's enough for people and they it would have been great if they want to me
