e the bridge fire spanning Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties has become the largest wildfire in California as of Wednesday night authorities are battling the blaze aided by federal assistance and the State National Guard right according to calf Fire's latest update the Wildfire has consumed 50,2 58 acres and remains at 0% containment approximately 2,500 structures are under threat from from the fire the cause of the bridge fire is still unknown but it has exhibited extreme fire Behavior through Wednesday growing by 13,000 Acres mainly on the north and east flanks for at least 13 structures were destroyed in the rightwood area with power infrastructure also affected Mountain High West and East Ski Resort were both impacted by fire activity in addition 20 homes in Mount Baldi and six Wilderness cabins were destroyed calfire warns that the expanding Inferno may cause spot fires as it reaches areas of receptive fuels with little to no fire history okay so I'm here at the line fire the fire is cross 3 30 uh again I'm posting one minute video so I can post this later uh as you can see uh it's making a hard push up the Mountain we have mandatory evacuation orders for Running Springs and I'm going to be taking a few photos while I broadcast here folks but uh again I'm here in full PPE full NX safety fire shelter radios everything so the bridge fire is one of three large wildfires active in Southern California the airport fire spanning orange and Riverside counties continues to burn with 23,40 Acres affected and 5% containment again uh mandatory evacuations to Running Springs east of Santa's Village uh if you are in an area of a mandatory evacuation leave immediately uh this fire is burning actively aggressively and fast uh and you don't want to mess with it as you can see this fire Behavior Uh despite a lot of the fires I've seen this is very extreme uh and you don't want to take any unnecessary risk look at all the uh Embers being lofted there in the calm Ryan look at out spotting creating that convectively you feel the heat from that yeah it's about 300 foot flame lengths we're probably about 100 yard away we can feel the heat from it right now again this is burning through mix Gavin Nome has proclaimed a state of emergency in Los Angeles San Bernardino Orange and Riverside counties in response to the bridge and Airport fires Nome declared a state of emergency related to the line fire last weekend Newsome stated California is deploying every available resource to combat these devastating fires and we'll continue to work in lock step with Federal and local partners in this Herculean effort over 100,000 people have been displaced with 65,66 structures threatened
