I am so proud of her and I'm so grateful to her for her support her mentorship and her push to get me in the world of politics in the first place she made me believe that if someone like her can succeed then of course I can do it and that's what she represents but she's also an incredibly talented strong creative fun compassionate person and I can't think of anyone better to do this job than her it's not important that we know everything she's done or her entire platform but why and what's important to us and I mean I could give you a quick example housing I mean this is the first time you hear housing put on this National stage the cost of living is going up she's talking about that and what matters to people most in achieving the American dream of being homeowners and so putting that at the Forefront of a national conf convers ation is something that needs to be done and it's important that we go out there and we tell our stories we talk about comma and why we're supporting her and we get to those undecided voters as someone who own a long time tell me something about her that no one else knows well I can't tell any secrets like that but I will tell you that whenever I do something I'm not supposed to do and it gets in the paper I get a phone call and I get a phone call saying you're not you know you're not supposed to do that I remember um I had an unfortunate situation and she saw it in the paper and this was a time when she was attorney general and so she called me and she basically said look when you do these kinds of things then you become the distraction and you miss the opportunity for why you're in office in the first place so I had to grow up real fast if you know I have somebody like her who was really guiding me through this process and she's she's that very personal person and like how are you doing how's your grandmother how I mean she was stopped by when my grandmother was in a care home she was there to see someone else when she was Da and she heard my grandmother was there so she said let me go say hi she's that kind of person who texts you or calls you on your birthday and all those kinds of things so when I think about someone like that in a White House she's taking our stories she's taking those experiences she's taking all of that with her and she's going to remember all of that when she's making policy decisions or investments in anything that she does here in this country
