welcome back to movies TV mad you can follow me on X Twitter at mov tvmad and on Instagram and on Freds at Movies TV mad X welcome to my reaction to the Superman Christopher Reeves story documentary trailer I've already done a long video today which I'll be uploading here to YouTube talking about how I've seen recently seen this documentary and we talk about that whole situation and um after we've watched this together I just briefly want to talk about this because part of me is wondering why James G DC Studios and WB want to remind everyone about the greatest Superman that ever lived when they're releasing a brand new interpretation you know next year is it the best of ideas anyway let's take a look at this trailer everybody's looking for a hero I am not a hero that was a part I played not hands down you was Suman from day one I realized that if I could pull off this part it would change my life John hman said Mr ree is very important you become serious classical actor unless of course they offer you a load of money to do something else he convinced me I first that he would fly doing things to my dad it was all about activity in action riding bikes playing soccer skiing my dad was very competitive and he didn't necessarily slow down we said goodbye and give this wave that was the last time I saw on his feet Mr geve currently has no movement or spontaneous respiration Superman crazy just that simple little playing over the horse i' ruined my life and everybody else's I won't be able to ski sail throw a ball to will won't be able to make love to Dana maybe Le should let me go she kep flying in and she just yelled I love you I love you and then she said the words save my my life you're still you and I love you he and Rob were such good friends because they could match each other Robin also had struggles that he dealt with his whole life and I think that they both were aware of Darkness well the Chris is fighting like Grace when you find people who fight like that but still keep their Humanity that gives you great hope that is tough because I can feel him but he can't feel me it must have been help from my mom too knowing but she had lost I feel as I needed to do something not just for myself but for everyone else in the same condition the fact that Superman was in the wheelchair and was willing to go public with it was huge B is on the way Christopher and Dan Reed Al people are weird walking because of him what is a hero my answer was a hero is someone who commits a courageous action without considering godes now my definition is completely different I think a hero is more individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles I wouldn't have missed this for the world wow just wow powerful isn't it powerful let's discuss it a wonderful powerful trailer for a wonderful powerful documentary if if you care about this man if this man means something to you like he meant something to me the first movie I ever saw was Superman 78 what he achieved was fantastic what he achieved as a disabled man was even greater Christopher ree is from old Hollywood male and pale isn't stale these are the icons and figures that new Hollywood want to delete and burn to the ground and we mustn't let them these types of characters like Christopher ree do not exist today in new Hollywood new Hollywood has nothing it's an empty shell it's nothing but old Hollywood has characters like Robin Williams and Christopher Ree and it's powerful you are going to cry and laugh and feel uplifted by this documentary as I've already said I've seen this documentary I've done a whole half an hour video I'm going to upload a little bit later on but these are the figures from old Hollywood that mean so much that that that inspired us and still Inspire us today what are the figures from new Hollywood a bunch of crybabies moaning and winging every time you read an interview with these new Hollywood people they have to put a spoke in the world they have to be negative and speak about something else that's nothing to do with entertainment people like Christopher ree w't like that they were professional and they uplifted audiences and their fans and that's the thing about that and you know you're going to see that you're going to see all the special figures from old Hollywood as well Glen Close Nicholas Cage Robin Williams they all old Hollywood and that's the thing this is what doesn't exist today everyone and this is what makes Christopher Reed and his story so important it's why I'm writing saving Judy Garland it's why I want to lead a fan Le entertainment studio for television and film with saving Judy Garland being this first film a little film you know but an ambitious film that inspires everyone about a relationship between a fan and a celebrity because they can still be good this nonsense about toxic fandoms there are good fans and there are good entertainers still out there we must fight for the heart of entertainers and if you ever need reminding when you watch this documentary you will be reminded but on the other hand of it as I said earlier it's very odd to me that they are releasing a new Superman film starring a new actor next year and they're reminding people with this documentary about the greatest Superman I don't think we should keep on you know I will always talk about Christopher even celebrate him his Superman is the greatest Superman Superman 78 is the greatest super Superman movie with Man of Steel just behind it but it's interesting to me that and I do as I say in my other video I believe that WB didn't just bid for this documentary they wanted this documentary to kind of sell James guns Superman movie and that's an interesting way of doing things reminding people of the greater greatest most Superior Sigman so check out my other video as I talk to you about this document ing Christopher Reas Suman and really the whole situation but yeah I really like that trailer it was very uplifting you know the trailer is uplifting the documentary is even more uplifting
