of the uh court session and I realized very quickly that it was going to be like an all day type of uh Court thing and I was like I don't think I'm going to stay up until 5 a. 5: a.m. in the morning to see the end of it so I was like uh I'll hedge my bets I'll go to sleep hopefully by the time I wake up it'll be done and then we can talk about it on the show tonight so that is what happened and we're going to go into that but first I wanted to say hello to everyone let me say hello DJ is here Melody is here as well Lori go Cowboys apparently uh not with Trey Lance uh maybe with Dak Prescott but not with Trey Lance Let's see Shasta hey Shasta good to see you Marilyn Landis Moonlight view is here uh Rachel made it peekaboo cockail is here Nana Lana amy7 it's good to see you all hope you had a good Tuesday the the chat is discriminating against uh Scottish people apparently all right let's do this yeah I heard there was a fire alarm that went off it's been a it's been a strange day in True Crime okay let's start with some good news Let's uh start with the good the about the only good news I have out of every story today so that's Brena Swindell she was found safe in Oregon who who in the chat had on your true crime card Oregon cuz I didn't the last place they were seen was Idaho and they were ended up being located in clth balls Oregon and I looked it up on a map and it looks like that particular town is right on the border with California am I right with that again I hope I'm remembering correctly I looked it up last night right let me double check it's right on the border of somewhere yeah California it's literally I don't know ex you know so many miles from the border it's it's not very far from the Californian border so I don't know were they trying to get to California were they trying to get I don't know down to Tiana it's weird way to go they could have gone through uh New Mexico or straight south from Texas I don't know but maybe they'll trying to get to California cuz it's weird that they're right on that border it looks like and they were still traveling they were still trying to get um they were still yeah they were still traveling in the vehicle so but she has been located safe um the boyfriend ex-boyfriend whatever his name is Mr I like to strangle my partner his name is more Morgan okay Morgan was arrested that's a good thing based on that warrant from the other week and uh she is alive and well and she's being returned to her family as far as I know so that is a good news let me bring up the article and get the camera turned on all right here we go hey good to see you all it's great to see everyone hey Jen good to have you all right let's play the little video new details tonight about an Austin area mother reported missing last week Rena sendell the daughter of former Longhorn and Houston Astros pitcher Greg Swindell was found safe early this morning hundreds of miles from home dav's Kelsey chanchez has been in contact with Oregon authorities to learn more about how they tracked her down Kelsey Jenny Brian police in the Southern Oregon City of clth falls found Brena Wendell and her ex Morgan gidry around 1:00 this morning local time a license plate reader flagged the van they were in as stolen and officers pulled them over officials there say swend Del wasn't hurt and called her parents so she can start making her way back home gri was arrested on a warrant out of Travis County sandell's father Greg posted on social media thanking everyone for the support and efforts made to bring his daughter back home alive and safe yesterday Austin Police said sendell and gy were lasting at a Spicewood bar Thursday and had shut their phones off the following day their disappearance came just days after gri was formally charged with an assault on Swindell back in July the Travis County Sheriff's Office says they worked on the case but only a week did sundell decide she was ready to press charges against gy according to arrest documents sendell told deputies G strangled her and slammed her head to the ground G was taken to the clth county jail a spokesperson with the Travis County Sheriff's Office says they were working on extraditing gidry no new charges have been filed against against him in Travis County there you go 1:00 a.m. in the morning they located that van and you know so I'm not sure what happened there I don't know if she was captive or going along with it but the fact that she she wanted to call her parents basically straight away tells me maybe there's more to this story that we don't know yet I don't know if we'll ever find out but hey like I told you yesterday keep hope alive until the very last moment a lot of people yesterday were saying they didn't think she was alive and I was like I I don't know if we know that yet I I like to think that there's always a chance to bring them home and this one we get some good news and she is going to go home to her family and her children it's nice to see that with a missing woman a lot of the time we we get the other one where it's uh a a bunch of children in a family are not going to have their mom and uh relative anymore so that is good news I like to hear that unfortunately the rest of the stories we have tonight except for one uh are not as happy as this now I want to talk about the guy that went missing in South South Carolina because they did a press conference today uh and it was weird now I understand why they spoke like this and I will show it to you hold on hold on this is the article yeah let's go to wjcl and then we'll talk about it and I'll explain a couple of things for you on up because my comments are very very brief at this point unless some of you ask some really crazy questions crazy question look thumbs don't you don't want me talking about you I I'll create a story can I put that on the sure but I'll make it good yeah I hi this is carer David OT and of course we have Lieutenant Eric kendine and M mine is welcome uh I know you have a lot of questions uh I know there's um you know a lot of information that a lot of people in the public want I know that and you're The Advocates you know to make sure that they get the answers to all those questions and we appreciate that and we appreciate all your questions but uh keep in mind that uh we're going to be limited to a to a certain extent as to what information we share we're going to try to share as much as we can that way everyone will have kind of a understanding of the past 11 days uh but uh at the same time we're going to be very respectful to the family um and we're going to keep a lot of information U to ourselves uh for the time being until we find a a point in time if there's information that we can release that benefits the community and benefits these type scenarios in the F future then we'll release that information but if it's just trying to get really too deep into it we're not going to go in that direction so today all right the reason they're saying that is if you haven't heard already that the man who went missing on that vacation rental in Hill head uh his name was Stanley katowski they're ruling it a self you know he did it on his own valit that's the only way I can describe it on YouTube without getting absolutely decimated by the YouTube uh AI thing but you guys can get what what what that means and they'll explain a little bit and then I'll explain what I know about some of the things they're about to say hey I am a referee I have all the information behind me and I will referee uh the information that we can that we can release so why don't we do this to try to help you I'll get uh I'll get Eric to go over a timeline that may be some benefit to you and understanding where we're at and what we're doing uh and he can fill you in uh on a timeline as to how we actually got a call for service what we did who worked who we worked with um to get that done and he can kind of fill those gaps in for the last 11 days okay Lieutenant thank CH morning everyone all right so this investigation began on August 16th uh with the family calling into our dispatch saying they're missing loved one Stanley katowski was missing uh the call came in about 12:42 p.m. uh when we arrived on scene the family had said they had already tried to search for him and that uh he they think he went missing around 10:30 in the morning they didn't have an exact time uh they the family members uh would be the wife and two family friends who were traveling with together uh they traveled down here on August 11th uh flew down from Massachusetts for to stay 226 South Sea Pines Drive in a villa at that complex so we arrived on scene they said last we knew uh Stanley had had was wearing a gray shirt dark shorts uh and they said they did have this ring video but they didn't have access to it because it was not theirs it was the homeowners so the sheriff's office then started dispatching uh Personnel to the area along with C Pon security who was vital in this search during the entire time frame uh so the officers right on scene began Fanning out looking for this gentleman uh and we started Gathering more information from the f uh the family had told us that he had had was paranoid and that he was going through Mental Health crisis and they had sought medical attention uh days prior uh for that mental health as a we progressed we had the can9 units come out uh three dogs from the K9 team uh did article search along with a free air sniff throughout the entire complex uh we did not locate any evidence at that time by then we started getting the ring video from the unit itself which which showed Stanley leaving out of the unit uh Barefoot with the corite t-shirt on the dark shorts uh and he left going out of the unit and heading towards the right with that information family law enforcement uh sepine Security started searching the area uh through different Villas uh we contacted cine security who helped us go through the cines homeowner association and the local property management groups who allowed us to go into certain Villas that were unoccupied to clear them so that progressed we started obviously had the media release go out Nix will release about the missing person we started getting phone tips in throughout those several days about hey um we may ass saw them Bluff then we my mom thought they saw him on the beach so we started having more and more tips come in that we had to track down for video we started be able to uh locate certain places that he may have traveled so we started Gathering video from The Salty Dog which is right next to this unit in the general area also the pickle ball courts in the general area they both had video we started Gathering that video reviewing it at one point we had a person uh of interest on the video but it was so far away we could not tell it was him we started getting trying to gather more video at that time to determine if it was him at the Salty Dog ultimately it was it was unfortunately not him so we went back out and public asking for hey look at your ring cameras we had sent um emails out see pin Homeowner Association was vital we sent a huge email out blast to all the residents inside of seines who had homes there asking again for Villas if they vi video from the Villas or their homeown homes themselves then we um went to uh the next thing of having our drones come in um we had multiple drones fly different areas we had DNR Coast Guard along with the beefer County helicopter start doing flights in the area looking for any kind of Clues uh we checked the marshes we checked the docks uh in that area because of the title Marshals then we started canvasing uh door too with the help of Hil head fire and rescue Blu and PD Sea Pine security and we covered a vast majority of the south end of Sea Pines going door too asking the people if they've seen anything had they checked their their surrounding yards their ouses any kind of structures on their in their yards themselves uh we asked if they had video cameras and from there we started Gathering a list of everyone who had video surveillance ring door to I'm going to uh fast forward it to the interesting bits because the timeline's pretty well known by now and I don't want it's it's 9:00 I want to talk about the the actual news not the boring bits so let me uh just jump forward a tiny bit to what information they're releasing today give me one second while I scrub through it ask called them to have ask them to check their Villas social media we could okay um so the day of the incident where he was located obviously um C Pine security along with the Sheriff's Office were on our daily canvas of the area uh cine security officer U walked the neighborhood the Villas again and he smelled something that was a foul odor immediately saw that there were some flies in the area and he contacted the Sheriff's Office Rees spaed out there um we're able to search around the building uh and it was not easy to find where exactly we could have access to go to find underneath the house in the crawl space we thought we could try going underneath the deck we tried that can't have access to the underneath the deck to get load to the crawl space they end up finding a hatch that was by the outdoor shower on the deck itself removed the hatch officer went down took the flashlight around didn't see anything had to crawl into the crawl space around some pillars to finally locate the body uh at that point we U secured the scene get the call to the Corner's office and worked it from there as far as the crime scene itself um once we were able to so if you didn't catch that he said that they were just doing like a search of the area uh you know around different homes and you know rental properties and then they saw one of the guys smelt something and then they noticed the abundance of flies in the area that normally is a pretty good giveaway for something that has died they you know they then had to look for where was it and this is where it starts to get a bit odd like they said that hatch to get under the property is not like it's not something you could just look at and be like oh that's how you get under the property it was freaking under a shower like an must be like a surf shower on the deck and then you have to remove that and then get under the property then you think how the hell did this guy in his uh Insomniac type mental state in his agitated state that you you know his wife said he was hadn't slept properly in a long time how did he even find it and then you'll listen to some of the details in a minute and even then it won't make a lot of uh a lot of sense and I'll try to clear up what I can U Moonlight view says he called it a crime scene I think I think anytime they find a potential missing person or a a person who is deceased it's automatically a crime scene because they have to um gather all the evidence and do their forensic work and call a coroner so I think that's just a protocol type of thing I don't think anyone is involved there's no second or third party here at least what they're saying right now they're saying this is a self act there is no outside third party at least at least right now um they're saying it is a self-motivated leaving of this world okay termin through the Corner's office which D not will talk about um we identify the staning yeah one of the one of the things we're not going to release is we're not going to release the actual location where the body was recovered there are still people there uh in in this community in this area that are here on vacation uh so we're trying to also be respectful for them while they're here but um uh the area was when I'd say what 150 200 yards max from the last last video scene that we have was uh was Stanley walking out and then going to the right well the you know of course that is the direction uh of where he was found so um we'll stop it there for a minute and uh carer okay thank you sir morning uh based upon the examination of the deceased yesterday he was found to be wearing the same clothing that he's had on the last day he seen which was uh August the 16th correct for instance autopsy was completed on Mr Kowski Stanley this morning cause of death is affixation by hanging man or death is a suicide unfortunately and at this time that is all the Corner's office is going to release we did did make a positive identification based upon additional information that we received this morning not just of what he was found wearing I'm not going to get into what that was but he is positively identified and uh we're gonna leave it at that and we thank youall for your help so that's about it they do get some questions but a lot of the questions you'll hear the guy say oh we're not going to talk about that that's not something we're going to go into and the problem that the that the reporters had is that they classified this as a hanging right and the reporters are like how do you get a hanging in a crawl space where you can't stand up and there you know they're like well we don't want to go into it I think it's so you know I don't I think it's one is resp for the family too it's um it's uh so you don't encourage other people but they were they were really like well we're not going to talk about it and then a reporter said well can you describe the area and they said well okay the area is only 3 ft high and it's very narrow and then the reporter then again asks is there another word you could use CH to describe um the way he passed away and they say no it's the only word in the English language that we can use to Accurate accurately describe what happened to uh Stanley is a hanging and then then the reporter is sitting there going wow it's only 3 feet high this guy is like 6 foot tall how do you get a how do you get a hanging and then the coroner says you know in other cases people have uh passed away due to hanging from a door knob and he's like a door knob is only like two foot off the ground you know it's not very tall it's you know that's that's happened in the past and he said I've investigated cases where that has happened so he goes you have to think like that and then the reporter then asked well was it deliberate was it something he wanted to do or or did he get into his crawl space somehow through the shower and then he got stuck on something and couldn't release the tension they said well we're not going to comment on that and I was like hm that's interesting I wonder was it was it really deliberate but like they class it as a they've classed it as a s word which means you did it to your yourself so I'm guessing that it was deliberate but it's it's very strange but what they another another little tidbit that they did release through questioning was there was some mechanism that he used to enact the hanging now they they wouldn't say what it was and they wouldn't mention how it worked but I I think there's a bit where he demonstrates sort of what the what the uh definition that he's using of hanging and how that applies to Medical Science and I'll show you once I have no more ground CW space is is is accurate because I think uh feet from the ground to the flooring uh and description of what you believe a cross space is is is accurate because I think uh at maximum there is about 3T from the ground to the flooring uh in this particular area so going into details asked to of manner of death I'm not um and U next question let's P you back off that to hang yourself right as an adult male it's not going to happen somewhere that there's only 3 ft are we suspecting somehow that he gets from another space to the Cross St after hang himself how does that well I'll I'll ask the coroner to because I mean I I know when you use the word hanging um there's an assumption made by everyone because of the word itself uh what would be the other word you would use as is other than a hanging uh based on what we know uh would be a suffocation affixation it's definitely an affixation but there's no other word other than a hanging unfortunately people believe that a hanging means you rope up to a ceiling and you drop it's definitely not like that um there's a lot of death that we've worked in this County where believe it or not is two door knobs it's mainly cutting off the flow uh I won't get into details on how it happened or anything like that but the cause a manner of death again is suffixation by hanging with the manner of death being suicid do you see where confusion though if this is like really difficult to get into offic you know we're not going to tell you any more than that and I can understand how you're you're you're not being you're you're not visualizing you I mean you're visualizing using the word hanging uh but uh in this particular scenario I'll go as far as say is that um there was an apparatus used to reduce the amount of oxygen you could actually take in so that is my definition of this hanging okay yeah there you go an apparatus used to reduce the flow of oxygen which ended up uh taking his life it could be I was he wearing a belt hold on let's have a look I have a screenshot of him um my let's have a look here's the photo from the CCTV it's hard to tell is he wearing sort of uh elastic uh shorts like you know like surf shorts or is he wearing shorts that like [Music] um you know those type of shorts men wear that have a around them like I can't remember what they're called but you know like cargo shorts type thing I don't know does he have a belt on him he's wearing a t-shirt he's Barefoot so it's not shoes or a shoelace and he's wearing some sort of pants I don't I don't know yeah so the home he he only went sorry where he was found is only about 200 ft from this location where you see him in this photo 200 ft or 200 yards or whatever they said it's not far it's just down just down the road and um yeah it's it's very strange uh I mean I guess we already knew he wasn't in a very good State of Mind as someone who suffers from insomnia I can tell you that I can relate I go through it myself I because I because of my anxiety I actually um get bad really bad uh insomnia sometimes where I go on a bit of a run for a few weeks where I can't sleep properly and I end up getting like an hour a night or something stupid like that and eventually my body gets so overloaded I end up crashing and then I end up sleeping for like 18 hours um so I can kind of relate your mind gets all fuzzy but this guy was not sleeping for like over a month that is a long period of time and much longer than I've ever gone through I surprised they didn't issue him a sedative or something to try and get him to go to sleep yeah they said he had some paranoid thoughts and delusions that type of thing um unfortunately and that may may play play into it paranoid people often think that someone is after them or you know that they're trying to get away from something he may have gone there and tried to hide maybe he was trying to hide maybe he thought someone was after him even could be he could have even thought it was his own wife maybe he thought his own wife was chasing after him and he's like w I don't want to go back I'm going to hide and and he somehow got into this shower and then hid it's a very strange it's a very strange death I get why they're not being more specific one it's respectful to the Family Two you don't want to encourage anyone else you don't want to give anyone ideas evil Alaska says he may not have used a rope or tether maybe getting his head entrapped and he struggled something under you like a like a um like a yeah I know what you mean like one of those hose lines that are very uh flex flexible I mean he could have if he got under the shower and then tried to walk yeah yeah that's a good idea so he got in there underneath and then he tried to walk forward it's dark he went out at nighttime oh no daytime night ping could have I mean it's still going to be dark under her home during the day I mean yeah I could see that Laura says insomnia stinks that's part of the reason I work the third shift yeah I get it too hey Charisma yeah they found him uh under under a home that he got in a a hatch so yeah it's misadventure but I think the uh clinical the clinical thing will be the s word by [Music] hanging it sort of is misadventure in a way too evil Alaska says I have bad insomnia made me mental and paranoid at one point yeah hey you missed it last night Alaska we had a story from about two girls from Alaska they're from Fairbanks and you missed it it's a shame yeah it's very sad Charisma it's very sad let me play the last um little bit and then I'll stop it questions did he bring the items to hang himself with him or do you believe that perhaps this was an accident that like Tyler was saying he may have gotten caught you know kind of trying to move around a little bit or he was intentionally good question without an answer next question wanted to ask about I like the the I like that guy he's like good question without an answer so they just weren't going to play into it they weren't going to um entertain anything about any method of how it happened so someone brought up what you you just said did he get under there then War can get entrapped on a a pipe or rope or you know something like that and he just said they weren't willing to answer it so there you go all right let me see if there's any uh information on here yeah so yeah there's the I can't actually read this out but I can highlight it for you so you guys can if if people don't get what I'm talking about there it is in words he died by that and it was ruled an in uh incident aord and uh yeah really awful it really is they said he previously revealed he was increasingly sleep deprived and struggled with anxiety I can I can relate 100% that's exactly how my insomnia is triggered too and uh yeah it's awful they said to even consider that being an entry point for the crawl space is something you probably would Overlook yeah they described earlier in that interview that it took them quite a long time to figure out how to get under the home they were walking around they were trying to like pull on different objects to try and see if that was a hatch or anything and eventually they figured out that it was a part of this uh shower on the deck and they realized that it had a square piece that you could lift up and then get underneath what's interesting though did someone see that it had been Disturbed in the morning and just thought maybe it was animals or a raccoon or something and put it back or did somehow when the guy got under there he put it back because I I know if that was my home even if I was staying there in a holiday rental if I saw a hatch that had come off in a weird place and then I heard there was a guy missing I would have been like hey we better call police I hope he's not under our house and at least that's what I would have uh you know put two and two together interesting that it was in place at the time when police found him and it made it difficult to figure out how to get under there uh it says here here his anxiety just kept getting worse and worse he started to get a little paranoid he thought someone was chasing him I reckon that he left that home got paranoid intrusive thoughts and then tried to hide got into that weird crawl space and succumbed to I reckon he I reckon he got in Tangled I really think that is the smartest uh suggestion we've had I think that makes a lot of sense especially cuz you just heard the way to get under there is through a shower what does a shower have hose pipes including water pipes which are often flexible because you have to run them and then run them up to the shower and they probably do run under the decking so yeah I would say that that is a pretty astute guess of how this might have happened they said here yeah they just said here that he uh they just said the family you know was very sad but they're glad that they found him and that you know I think the family wants a bit of privacy now that they know that they their husband and their dad is gone and it's such a public um it's such a public case everyone's been looking for him that's the double-edge sword of um using the media and True Crime to try and spread a story is that you have the the other side of it when they eventually found or located and the family's like well we're done and the media is like well we're not we we we've still got details we want to tell to finish to finish the uh you know information so that's why that's why the police today were like we're not going to go into any details but we'll give you enough to write the article that you need to write to put an end to this particular chapter and that's what they did today in that press conference so yeah we should leave it with a nice photo of him that's a great photo is that the Boston Red Sox jacket that is a cool jacket there you go let's leave it with a great photo of him wouldn't that be accidental not s well would it I don't know I'm not sure how they got to that determination I'm not sure would it be not accidental I don't know I'm not sure it's I mean I could see it both ways I could see it as it was because of his mental state that caused him to do that being that because he knowing did it it could be the SW word not misadventure as where if he wasn't in that mental state but did that maybe you know he was exploring under the deck and it was a purposeful activity that they wanted to do out of their own free will then I could see it being misadventure but yeah it's interesting we're not we're not going to talk about that on this show Sean you know um actually I have a I have an interesting bit of trivia about that a guy I used to live down the road from who I was pretty good friends with he and his wife worked in a hospital that his body was taken to and they were morg workers and uh he actually was one of the people who brought in Michael hutkins and he told me some interesting stuff about about Mr Hutchin that I'm not going to repeat on this channel sorry but I'm sure people have heard the rumors uh I hate morning says he had to do it on purpose otherwise it would would be accidental because purposeful and live maybe prevent her from receiving hey that's that's an interesting point it had to he had to do it on purpose because otherwise it would be accidental can you if it was misadventure would you get the insurance payout if it was swword do you not get the insurance payout is that how that works I I don't know with the US medical system I know that some insurance does it some don't interesting hold on what county are we in we're in South Carolina right hold on down all right here we go let's go to the South Carolina legis legisla legislature there you go and let's see definitions criminal procedures cause of death uh refer yep that's the result Mana of death refers to the means or fatal agency that caus the death manner of death is classified in one of the five five categories natural accident homicide s word and undetermined do they give us a definition in this here let's see if they give us a definition I mean we know we know what it means like we we know know English but I wanted to see if they had like a a legal definition uhhuh this is interesting they said here if a person dies the result of violence as a result of an apparent swword when in apparent good health when unattended by a physician [Music] interesting can we get a definition though okay I don't they don't think there is I I don't know I just wonder if maybe they they're classing it as that because it's due to his action so if his paranoid thoughts caused him to hide even though yeah like I explained before even though that's what was driving force that could still be classed as it s word defaults policy here in AK maybe they're helping the family out maybe they're helping the family out to get them that that payment hey Tia how are you oh that sounds terrible I I hope you're going to recover from that interesting I don't know if we'll ever find out fully I just think [Music] um it's all very strange right it's all very odd and I I can't imagine being his family and then having to somehow work mentally through this not just losing your father not just losing your husband but then to have to work through the way in which he passed away that is that whole family is going to need a lot of uh support help and you know friends family you know stuff to give them a stuff to help them because I I mean we're struggling with it and we we don't know the guy we're just on YouTube I can't imagine what it's like for them it must be very very hard because it probably doesn't make sense to them either they're probably like what do you mean he went through a shower and then he did X Y and Z they probably don't get it either and I'm sure they know much more information than what we got told uh let's see if they have anything else here no okay I think we're just about done with this but I'm going to check one other place hold on you know who would be a good one to ask for this one Mr Joseph Scott Morgan if you guys head over to Joseph Scott Morgan's Channel or while he's doing body bags and you're able to send in a question that might be a good question to send in to Mr Mr Morgan Mr Morgan would probably be able to tell you a little more about um why this decision might have been made and and under what circumstances he might be able to tell you cuz he worked in uh he worked in death investigation so he may know more all right let me just I'm just checking one more Source just in case I miss something all right let's have a look [Music] apparently they did release that video of him leaving I don't think I've ever watched it this is a this is a ring doorbell I've seen screenshots of it but I don't think I've ever actually watched it there he is Mr Stanley he heads down he just takes off that's it and then off he goes he doesn't look that agitated it's it's interesting to see someone like that like it's not what you think it would be although he is standing in the middle of a road just you know standing there H and then he decides to leave the frame okay the first bit didn't look that bad the second bit was a little odd the first bit just look like a guy leaving his home the second like when he's out in the street seems a little strange it's like he doesn't know what he wants to do or where he wants to uh go all right all right I'm going to leave it there I think we've talked enough about it uh but a horrible horrible way to a horrible way to go a horrible way for people to find you and it's definitely going to have a lasting impact on that poor family I feel very sorry for them they're going to have a very difficult time I hope they they got a lot of friends and support and the police are going to give them like a uh they often have like a police chaplain like a person who can uh help families when they're in this type of uh situation and I I hope they help them out all right let's head to let's talk about Wade Wilson let's talk about this now I watched the end part of the trial today I watched a little bit before I went to bed when they were talking about they had a doctor on the stands talking about how brain scans work and what you're supposed to look for and people who have like uh brain atrophy and uh different kind of um brain illness or you know damage to brains when you do a scan and that was very interesting but the bit that everyone wants to see is this bit so let me let me play this sentence Wade Wilson to the death penalty and now the state attorney is talking about the case let's listen in live Christine Melton and Diane Ruiz they were two beautiful and wonderful women with their whole lives ahead of them and they were cherished and loved by family friends and their Community I would now like the family to speak about Christine and Diane and first of all Christine's family her cousin Samantha is here with us today come on up Samantha hi um uh as a family we have all been really quiet um because it was so important to the Integrity of this case weight supporters have not been quiet but we all know that the loudest ones are always the dumb ones anyways but we're done being quiet so I will say that this will not be the last that Wade Wilson sees of us in a courtroom um I think most importantly I wanted to say thank you to Sarah and Andreas for hanging in there with us because this has been five years of of Agony and without them I don't know that we would be here today so I think uh that's most important to us is to say thank you to them and to be and to everyone that helped us on um this path and I think that's how have go thank you Samantha and now to speak on behalf of Diane her father Felix yes my name is Felix rues the father of Diane I didn't get to say I love her and I miss her but I also like to thank State eternity and all the along Force been involved in this case to make this F become the reality of today I let let you know that this is not the end the end is when the ks takes his last breath and I will be there at the execution that's a promise thank you thank you Felix we all stand with all of you in your terrible loss the defendant in this case will now sit on Florida's death row as he awaits the death penalty he will pay the ultimate price the highest penalty We Carry in Florida because of the heinous atrocious and cruel things he did to these two victims the decision by my office to seek the death penalty in this case the recommendation of death by the jury and the sentencing of the defendant to death today is a reflection of the severity of the crimes committed and the irreversible harm inflicted upon innocent lives I'll leave it there for a second um I watched it as the uh as the judge read out his final remarks and gave those two G those two death penalty uh applications to Wade I was watching him and I was like I've watched a few of these go down now and I always like to see what what is their like movement when they hear the words that they will be sentenced uh to the ultimate punishment and I noticed even in the Chad deel one and this one they're all very Steely eyed they they don't move very much there's no real emotion and I think you've just basically been given the worst punishment on Earth for your for what you've done and you still have nothing to show anyone the jury the judge the families nothing and I I find that very interesting uh that that's happened in more than one case that I've watched but he just basically sat there and just like it was another day like it was uh no skin off his nose whether they sentenced him to death row or to a weaken the Bahamas did he he didn't seem to really care but he will care when he heads up on that on that death row for sure Marlene says you have the best chat friendly and kind hit the like button please Marlene that is very sweet of you I appreciate it I I'm glad that you like it uh all the people on duty Ron are going to try and help shut down his fundraising campaign you're talking about Wade Wilson I know he's been um there were Jail phone calls that were released that he was like begging reporters and other people to put money on his uh commissary and I was like how much of a low life can you get that you're spanking out interviews or for like 20 bucks I mean is this what your life has become h gone from Tik Tok Superstar or whatever you think you are to whing yourself out to reporters for 20 bucks well we'll see how much longer that takes takes uh you know to let him have but Melody says watch his breathing and he swallow I saw him swallow a couple of times uh before just before they read it out but I don't know he just he looked very statuesque to me I know you're saying that you reckon he look like he's in a full-blown panic I I don't know he looked very much like Chad deell to me coward and a begger right uh yeah he's a ttoo guy that looks like a weirdo I mean I like people with tattoos but not not him uh Rachel says it's a fundly account that has like 70k uh if he was convicted of his crimes he shouldn't be able to make any proceeds at all so that money should definitely go for if he has any uh awarded like you know money awarded to the families due to due to his crime or whatever that money should just automatically go to them you're right yeah it should is it a GoFundMe or a funly hold on let's look it up give me a second I'll find it save Wade Wilson I ain't no one saving him not even God himself uh yeah I I found it here it is 70 grand from 389 donors what is wrong with you there's so much better people you could give your money to I ain't going to tell anyone how they're going to spend their their money in their pocket but I will say that you have some issues uh it says here hello everyone this is the only fundraising account that is verified and that I endorse the goal is to be able to afford better experts who will give me a fighting chance you can also support me through the Tik Tok shop PayPal of course we can uh well no now he now he's been convicted and you know he's sentenced to Dr yeah that money should instantly be deducted and then given to the family there's no way he should be walking around with 70 grand just for whatever he get he gets legal representation through the uh through the court he doesn't need you know he doesn't need to have anything else that is that is crazy I can't believe people would actually send money to him that's all right Jen that's all right ah he only owes 177,000 really they normally give huge amounts like um you know like sometimes like half a million dollars or whatever to each family I can't believe the 17 grand that's all that is interesting he has he has a uh a right to a certain amount of legal process over the DP finding I think but I don't I'm not a lawyer so I don't understand how it works with this particular process they went through it's not like he was sentenced a few months ago and then he instantly got that sentence they've done all this kind of like going to get reports and this and that so I don't know how that plays into it I don't know if he has room to appeal or there is no room to appeal but I'm pretty sure anyone who sentenced to death row in the US has a certain amount of legal like things they can draw out until they're basically out of options and then they the judge will give them a date and that date is there you know that is the end of the road so I don't know how that works in Florida most of the ones I've seen have been in uh Texas so but we'll find out we'll find out but uh that money should definitely go to the families he shouldn't be giving any getting any money yeah any profits anything like that should go to re you know repatriations to the to the family hey Vicki Vicki says he gets an automatic appeal to due to the DP and the money is supposed to go for that oh it's for the appeal for that yeah says our donation camp cign aims to raise funds to help Wade Steven Wilson afford a reputable specialized and competent legal defense team I got to admit some of his um Defense work was bizarre but I don't know if that was a strategy or not but some of it was a little odd like they didn't bring up any Witnesses or anything like it was or any experts and that it was very odd the public has raised serious concerns about the Integrity of the initial trial including potential miscarriages of justice and failures by his legal team to adequately CH challenge the prosecution's case this case uh emphasizes the importance of providing individual the opportunity of a fair trial regardless of the charges against them the future defense Council will be vital to Wade in his case as capital cases are complex and require specialized attorneys who can cost anywhere between $150,000 to $200,000 per appeal to to date his supporters Have Been instrumental in raising awareness and funds for his case or his cause Community has generously donated over 60 Grand which will go to securing new legal representation to ensure that he receives a fair [Music] trial I mean unless you can show me where that might apply but I mean I thought they gave him every chance they the doctors like they ask for more scans and things to try and prove his case that um he had some sort of brain injury and all that I I I mean I don't get it he must be he must be catching in on his uh Tik Tok supporters uh yeah it normally is Shan that's why um do you remember when OJ Simpson tried to write that book he tried they tried to write that book about like if I did it or whatever and uh the the families of his victims ended up with the rights of it and any proceeds including I think they also got his signing bonus didn't they like the Advance on the book they also got that so I think it's the same that you can't profit off your crimes uh yeah look these type of DP cases are really contentious there's a lot of people people who would support him just because he's going up against the DP like for real there's people who just are really against it don't believe in it and would support him no matter what no matter what his crime is because they don't believe in the iPhone ey type uh sentence but uh yeah that is a lot of money he's got Tik Tok and Instagram huh look at these people someone donated 10 grand and someone donated 24 Grand the Janette fundle Janette that's a lot of money there is a lot of cash um yeah I would like to see that taken away and given to given to the families of of his of his victims I mean what about them they've had to have legal support they've had to have legal representation too to fight not only for their dead child but for themselves for their own legal rights within the court for their own legal rights to read certain things submit certain things so I get it there were people in the chat today saying free Wade free him for what reason can anyone anyone tell me what the reason is like what the the other the other side is like if we if we're going to be unbiased here what is the what is the four Wade argument does anyone know cuz I've not seen anything hold on I I know how to find it I know how to find it [Music] uhhuh sorry I'm just trying to read what people are saying oh okay so apparently a lot of it is people who were obsessed over his Tik Tok before he was arrested and they're still supporting him now and they're the ones who are doing the Grassroots movement to try and I don't know what you want he admitted to his dad a bunch of other people like he's admitted to his crimes about 50 times I don't like what do you want for him um he was also accused of saing a 12-year-old at one point too those charges were from a decade ago or over the age of 12 I'm not sure how old they were but they're saying here that they're just people that were on his Tik Tok and that beforehand I'm just trying to read up a bit more about it yeah so yeah yeah I don't seems like some people you know like people would write to Manson and things like that people would do that back in the day and Proclaim his innocence and things like that Danny says several prison gangs have a bounty on him hey they can have the one right here it's a 70 grand Bounty look I come from a country that doesn't have the DP right I don't I don't have I don't have but I mean I could I mean sometimes I don't feel comfortable speaking on it because I don't have to live in a country that is a punishment that you can get is the DP in my country the the maximum sentence you can get is life in prison without the possibility of parole but um yeah I did notice that during the trial I've heard that already Danny but I appreciate it uh t is I had to click off the chat cuz it was like these people can't be right in their heads I think it's um obviously people who are so not I don't know I don't I don't get the whole fandom thing and that you might be like Ping that's really stupid of you you own a YouTube channel where people come and watch you every night how does that work and I'll be like I I don't I still don't fully get it I mean I just don't get the people who get so into it that they're like I would give up a deposit on a house for you I mean I get a 100 bucks or something or like you know people sometimes give me like 20 bucks and things like that I get that but like 10 grand 20 grand it's a lot of money Vicky that is very sweet of you it's good to see you again I was worried when I didn't hear from you last week I hope you're doing okay I want to see the sticker that Vicky sent what is it she always sends a number one fan thing so is it the number one fan it is thank you Vicki she that's the one she sends every time that's how I know it is Vicki that's going to be our secret question if Vicki ever goes missing and then I have to go find her I'm going to be like we have a secret question what is the one super sticker you always send to me and if she can answer it I'll know it's her um yeah I don't get the whole defending murderers and like it's one thing when someone has had a really uh unfair trial and then there's an innocent person in jail people fight for them to have a new trial and then have the evidence reassessed on its merits right that's one thing and people have had that and been released and that is a um one very sad that they ever went to jail in the first place and two it's a good thing that it's able to happen and people can get out but that's not what's going on here this is some sort of vanity campaign for people that's the way I would explain it it's almost like a vanity thing like uh what are those people who like those K-pop bands what do they call them and they're all like oh commun or whatever they're my favorite and they sing all the songs that best out of all 12 people on the stage like those people drive me crazy I'm like you know they don't know who you are they will never know who you are and you act like an absolute lunatic for them and you're 35 like you ain't ain't a 14-y old girl if you're a 14y old girl you do whatever you want but um I never understand that that type of thing but that's sort of what's going on here there's people that are just warning over him due to his Tik Tok career and you know think that they're going to have a jail husband or something yeah I would say listen to his birth father and those jail records you know yeah like you know how they fight on Twitter and all that and they they have like these gang wars on Twitter and they're all like no my K-pop band is the best and the other one's like no my one is the best my one has more worldwide singles and well we got a top 10 hit in every week of last year or whatever like no one cares no no one cares I don't care most of the world doesn't care you can care but just don't make other people get involved desperate lonely women and that's very sad that's very sad if there's women out there that feel like this is their only Avenue for some sort of attention or to feel purpose in life and I I actually feel very sorry for those people I I think there's there's there's more to life that I wish they could access and didn't feel to have to take this type of action what did DJ say where's DJ Molly says stop making me laugh um no he has teeth Ted on on one one side he has stitches on his on his lips but on the far right of his cheek he has teeth I saw it in the video today um yeah we don't actually care that's right wait where's DJ oh here yeah yeah all right yeah know the K-pop people I mean I I get being um obsessed with like an artist or whatever I have a lot of artists that I really like but I'm not on Twitter fighting like I'm in some sort of like virtual War where if we lose the battle our favorite K-pop will go down the charts by five places and we'll never be the same again we may have to change our names and move to a different country that's not Korea all right let's let's move on um I'm glad with the sentence today I'm very happy with it and um I hope hope those families of the people that he's hurt uh can sleep a little more soundly knowing that he he should never probably get be able to get back into public ever again and hopefully never be able to hurt anyone ever again all right here's a story that was sent into me I hope well no I don't hope I hope they're found by now but if they're not then let's talk about it drive they were accompanied by Brown's 15-year-old We Begin right now with breaking news from the LAPD they're searching for two teens and a baby girl in need of medical attention 14-year-old amoria Brown was last seen with her three-week old daughter last night around 10 p.m in the 5200 block of East Huntington Drive they were accompanied by Brown's 15-year-old sister-in-law saai Brown the newborn has a heart condition and requires daily medication police believe they are headed to the high desert area with family anyone who sees them is asked to contact the LAPD or call [Music] 911 yes so there you go missing mother and a child let me get back to my link here's a photo from that will that go bigger there we go and it's uh these three that they're looking for it they said amoria Brown was with her 3 week old daughter 3 week uh and her sister-in-law siia Brown around 1 p.m. on Sunday and now they have gone missing from what I understand one of them is 14 years old and she's the mother to the newborn baby her 15-year-old sister-in-law is from East Los Los Angeles so there's their photo let me aoria Brown let me she spelled her baby's name with an O but with the same name that's pretty cute although their household may get confusing when they get older I'm just thinking if they've been if there's an update they are still missing uh up until about 20 minutes ago there was a update put out saying they are still looking for them let's go to miss the national Center for missing children so there's a photo uh 15 years old this is the uh sister-in-law siia and she was or siai she was last seen August 25th she may be in the company of amoria and her daughter her 3- week old daughter very young and her sister-in-law is only 14 so we're looking for a 14-year-old a 15-year-old and a 3- week old baby that that is that is a they are quite young to be out there on themselves yeah 14 15 and a 3 week old baby the three-y old baby belongs to the 14-year-old and her sister-in-law which is the one on the screen now is the uh 15-year-old T says wait ping did you speak on the missing mom was found s yeah yes yes we did um uh Brena Swindell we did that at the start of the show yeah she was found in Oregon yeah yeah we did that earlier so if you're in LA and you it does it does sort of look like a I don't is it there's some little things in the top here that makes it almost look like a family home it could be but yeah they are looking for these people here is the uh photo again there you go there is the sister-in-law there's the 14-year-old although she looks pregnant in that photo and there's the 3 week old baby and where are they searching from the for Los Angeles they're saying here all three girls were seen in the 5200 block of East Huntington Drive investigators say they are probably possibly headed to the high desert area with a with family what why are they looking for them if they're with their family that's odd okay they say investigators say they are possibly headed to the high desert area with family that's not a lot of details they're saying amoria is 5' 4 in tall weighs about 140 lb and has black hair with brown eyes she was last seen wearing a multicolored shirt with a gray shorts and gray sandals over Oria with an O is 3 weeks old and suffers from a heart condition that requires daily medication soai is just over 5T tall weighs 150 lb has black hair and brown eyes anyone with information is ask to contact authorities at the LAPD or detective J Ridder at 213 47928 27 so if you see them call it in they maybe headed to the high desert yeah I know um we had an update yesterday that her husband that is accused of killing her has been denied bail at this point and uh he's been kept in jail until his next court appearance so that that that update is yesterday the baby is ill yeah it needs medication for it it has a heart condition I hope I hope they have the medication on them and the baby's okay but they need to be located let me see if I can find anything else on him [Music] ABC7 right now with breaking news from the LAPD they're searching for two teens and a baby girl in need of medical attention 14-year-old amoria Brown was last seen with her three-week old daughter last night around 10 p.m. in the 5200 block of East Huntington Drive they were accompanied by Brown's 15-year-old sister-in-law saai Brown the newborn has a heart condition and requires daily medication police believe they are headed to the high desert area with family anyone who sees them is asked to contact the LAPD or call 911 two separate victims in last night's robbery at Fashion um yeah that's all we know so if you're if you're around the high desert area in LA or out near that area um call it in and if you see them there was another search one for M today I didn't see anything but I'll cover it on The Late Show cuz we've only got a couple of minutes and we've got to get out of here unfortunately hold on guys sorry give me a second I'm trying to find something H okay trying to see if we have enough time okay I'll do this very quickly I heard this a couple months ago anyway so I think most of you have as well that meline soo's cause of death revealed months after boyfriend's allegedly killed wait months after mom's boyfriend allegedly killed the 13-year-old now it says here that she was allegedly strangled uh to death uh by homicide and uh I'm not going to go too much more into it other than that because I I know Trisha is going to do it and she's going to have more details about stepen stones and more about the information and documents that were released today but I did want to cover it very quickly before the end of the show I think it's extremely sad I still think about this poor little girl all the time and uh you know I think of the harrowing last you know few years of her life had to sleep in the same bed as that freak and have to deal with him but I wanted to show you something um people were telling me that a few months ago we went through some of the documents in the 900 page thing that was released I had no idea that those documents were so hard to come by and people were looking for them if I ever show something on the show that you want and you think it's hard to find or something unless I've been told that I can't give it out to my sources who give it to me I'm happy to share it with you or check with the people who give it to me and ask if it's okay I can hand it out and as long as it's okay I I'll give it to you I don't want to charge people money for documents or anything like that um information should be free and it should be you know knowledge is for everyone right we we're on the internet so if if I have it if I'm able to give it out without pissing off one of my people who give it to me I'll happily give out documents to people but every now and then someone asked me not to give stuff out and it's for my eyes only so that does happen every now and then hold on all right it says here and I wanted to show you this because this is what I think back to every time I read about meline and it's here it says during the interview redacted confirms redacted lives with her and that her boyfriend approximate lives with her and that and her boyfriend of approximately seven years was Stephan Sterns as the interview continued she stated on rare occasions redacted and and him he slept in the same bed according to redacted the reason for this is so she could get some sleep because sometimes all three of them slept in the same bed redacted also confirmed with the detective that she and Stefan had been sexually intimate Detective presented reacted with various images that were recovered from his phone the first image was a hand placed on the butt on the buttocks of a white female after viewing the image redacted identified this hand as belonging to Stefan next the detective showed redacted a close-up photograph of a white male pineapple redacted viewed the picture but was unable to identify such a pineapple detective then presented redacted with another image of a unique pineapple over a pair of pants again redacted viewed this image and identified this unique pineapple as belonging to Stefan redacted believed this was Stefan's pineapple based on the clothing and blanket near the pineapple yes often like to keep blankets near pineapples keeps them ripe for longer a few month a few moments later the detective paused the interview with reducted and waited for casimi Police Department detectives to respond so the interview could continue you know I find this little paragraph So fascinating because the first one that they showed her she's like I've never seen that thing in my life I cannot tell you who that belongs to you sure about that you needed to see the underwear in the blanket for you to be to be sure okay but but you knew the hand was his so you can identify a hand but you can't identify the pineapple that apparently you've been doing stuff with for over seven years okay cuz I tell you if someone should me a photo of my wife naked without her face I'd be able to tell you in about 3 seconds it was her I'd just be like yeah that's her I've seen that a million times um it says also here if I can find it ah it must be on I've got two of these that are that are next to each other but it's not coming up but this is what I think about you know this and the other details that released about meline about the images found on his phone and I think that poor little girl had to go through this for I don't know half a decade I don't know how long like three plus years five plus years seven plus years the whole time he knew her and that the whole thing about there's another document in here I don't know if I have it on me is it this one where a a person that Stephan was seeing at one point he she had a conversation with him where he admitted to having an erection of a pineapple an erect pineapple in the bed with meline and that he rolled over to not let her know about it and I'm like yeah that doesn't sound suspicious I mean the the whole thing just sounded fruity very fruity we got we' got fruit on the mind right now but it all sounded very wrong like just all of it I don't know any adult male that would ever feel okay sleeping in the bed with a a girl this age I mean most young kids they don't want to be in bed with Mom and Dad once they get you know past a certain age that they want their own privacy and especially a young lady at this age I find it very strange and normally at this age they starting to find themselves and have their own sort of you know private life and you know stuff like that they they they're starting to get a little um you you know not embarrassed but they you know they want more privacy because their bodies are changing and stuff like that and I find it you know obviously he must have groomed her from from a point in time because I it just doesn't make sense to me a lot of the details that we've heard don't make a lot of sense yeah 100% I don't even know why she's still out in the public I I I think at a [Music] minimum this is what I'll tell you if he ain't plowing your field he's plowing someone else's and in this particular case as disgusting as that is it was her child and that's you know something she should have picked up on and I I have so much uh questions for her and I I don't know why they haven't charged her yet it drives me crazy I only found out from this inter jens's police inter viws yeah yeah easy on the language no pineapples for you sorry I'm trying to catch up on some of the questions before we wind up um it it wasn't a storm it was like wind we got it right now there's there's crazy wind outside this is a farming Channel that's right that's right um yeah it's a farming channel uh Vicky K says I can't believe her extended family didn't call CPS I I can't wait till we go to trial because I know there's more here that we just haven't found out yet because the the the We Know This Much right imagine how many more documents and stuff we don't have from the cops yet and there's just so much here that it feels like it's a crime that no one called it in earlier do you know what I mean it feels like that no one no one cared or no one wanted to disrupt their lives to help help meline and that's what makes me so angry about it is that again I feel like she could have been helped earlier before it got to this point of him killing her maybe she could could have got away maybe she'd still be here today it's very sad everyone thinks Jen won't be charged no I think she will be 100% I think she will be I I think it'll take time but I think they want to make him I think they want to get him first make sure that case is watertight and then go after other people who might be involved evil Alaska says in my opinion Ste stepan or Steven or whatever the [ __ ] his name is oh where's that swear button I have to cook that up uh knows more about the dirty 100% uh the grand said she slept with her in her bed when the poor girl was frightened yep I don't think she willingly slept in the bed with him I don't know any 13-year-old that wants to sleep with some dirty old man it's not her father it's not her it's not her dad it's not like that's her biological father or anything so you know they don't have that relationship from when she was a baby and even then i' I've been around enough 13y old girls or 12-y old girls or 11y old girls that they don't really want much to do with Mom and Dad they they sort of want their own you know they're starting to get into boys and starting to you know become young ladies that they want their own privacy Sean says some Colts and SEC members turn a blind ey as we know yep there's been a few down here in Australia too all right guys I have to wind up otherwise Trish will be mad um hey I love you all we've got much more to discuss I have another five or six stories on our panel right here waiting so we when we come back for The Late Show we'll have a lot more uh stories
