hey hobby world zach and porter back with another video and it's episode three of our amazing dime box lines at the new berlin card show yeah and i guess the official name is the all-in-one card and collectible show i will have a link uh to their website they have a show coming up in october october 30th if you go really cool variety it's a it's not a huge show it's a one-room show but they have a ton of value boxes and a ton of different variety for any type of collector now before we get into some of our awesome finds we have got an awesome pc that porter just started uh and something came in the mail today that he was super excited about but first you wanted to show up one card you already have and that pc is manny sandgan so p i got their i almost got their names jungled up again pete rose and nolan ryan did a youtube thing um called ryan and rose and they were like different um different like opportunities um to like meet new people or like what they did it was basically them talking tales of the game and rose and ryan had a ton of admiration for each other during their playing career but if this gives you any insight into how colorful it gets the video link if you want to find i'm not going to put a link in the description so it's episode 2 it's episode 2 of ryan and rose and it's called peeing on willy mays now this has nothing to do with manny sangeet i'm not going to get into that story but there's some really cool stories of pete rose talking about a an exchange he had with a hall of fame umpire who who was jack crawford chad crawford was was umpiring a game and i i i forget where it was but it was really hot and it was in tech uh cincinnati okay no uh it wasn't cincinnati he was in houston no because he said we were playing at cincinnati i can't i can't remember but but the story goes is you know pete rose goes to the goes to the plate he's a kid and he says to manny sangee and he's that's it that's the that's the rookie card we got in the middle he says the man he's saying or he says to the ump he said hey you know shag how you doing he goes i don't care if he rolls it up here i'm calling strikes and so people and then he said peter said what's your problem he said sand gan he's belching he's farting his stinks and it's all staying at home place and so pete rose claims the game was what an hour and 15 minutes no like i think it was 150. i don't i think it was an hour 50 minutes shorter just gave me airplay but it's a very it's a funny story but porter loves the dialogue and he you just love today man he's saying yeah it's sandy uh so we we found san gian's rookie card what year is that 68 yes 68 tops all right so yeah porter's got a manny saying game pc these are the only two cards we have so far although i did see uh on trading card database there are a bunch of manny sankian cards uh some tribute cards some some buy back cards so maybe we'll uh we'll be finding some more of those but it's always fun to to learn those stories of the game all right we're going to jump into the dime box finds again from the new berlin card show a lot of these are geared more towards my era and uh football so we're going to start off with some cards and these all were unique and new to our pc i'd wanted this emmett smith for a very long time this was his first regular set card he was in the supplemental set for pro set or the extended said this is the 91 pro set honoring his rookie year and rookie of the year honors and this was the base card again this is a dime 91 pro set then we've got the 1992 upper deck very cool action shot there of emmett i love the early ultra designs not 91 as much uh this was the 91 so this is a second year card of emmett smith but the 92 and 93 on both baseball bat or i should say baseball basketball and football i thought were really cool i didn't know they did it on basketball yep they kept the same design uh in fact yeah so we got like a latrell spreewell rookie we've got a jordan uh all in that 92-93 i don't remember that and then this was cool this is flir 92 this was a pro vision card of emmett smith again i got this out of a dime box you know if you look at some of the you know there's the provision the comparisons on ebay it's crazy what those go for we pulled the d on um and those dion provisions go for for quite a bit that's nuts but really cool cards for the pc uh some nfl hall of famers that we like to collect junior seau this was a gold uh parallel uh of this pacific prism so i thought that was a really cool card i've talked a lot about liking the top's finest sets this is a thurman thomas we showed him off a little bit before because of the fact that he played at oklahoma state you can just show off a couple of these and then two 1993 stadium club troy aikman's so this is the base card and then here is the members only if you can see that down there yeah i like that actually it's a member's choice and uh speaking of troy aikman and emmett and michael irvin i just finished the jeff pearlman book uh here we go this is strong arm of the law uh this is part of skybox and you'll see i think we got a dion coming up but i just finished the jeff pearlman book called boys will be boys about those uh 90s cowboys teams and i usually read i don't do audiobooks and i did audiobooks anytime porter came here and i had to i had to turn it off just because it was a very colorful book uh learning about emmett michael and all those guys i highly recommend it uh jeff perlin's pretty good author 1999 tops finest i think but it's a gold label troy aikman i i love this card i think we got an eddie george of this we did the one with walter that's a cool set next three uh if you've watched our videos and our guy bearcards34 knows that we like him andre rising this is a 91 action-packed we've got a 1992 hologram that's one of those upper deck game breakers uh and then a 1991 stadium club of andre rison that was the inaugural stadium club set and as we've talked about in the past they actually have the rookie card on the back and then i still can't believe when we find these this was a dime this is a hall of fame rookie card i didn't know that yeah bruce matthews one of the all-time great offensive linemen uh and again just sitting in a dime box uh a rookie card unattended so now we move into dion sanders first i'm going to show this one and we're excited because these were all unique to the pc 1997 score dion sanders with the reds we've got a power combos here with tim mckeyer and dion there was a little bit of a a shine there these were both from the same set team mvp and then the dion card this was more of that uh sky box set some cool action shots on the back cool i think this is from the same set 1993 skybox dion sanders oh yeah you're right oh that is from the same set uh and then this is cool we have a richard den card of this it's called boys or excuse me men of autumn it was a insert set for pinnacle uh and this is uh dion sanders and then like that aikman card i thought that was wrong time dion sanders and we've got skybox the uh premium edition i like the colors there 92 reproduction doing his famous showboating i've actually taken a liking to that yeah yeah be careful that 93 score i did like this design again they decided to use this for both baseball and football here is a 1993 stadium club base dion sanders and two more for the dm pc the 1992 wild card and then this i believe is a 92 no i think it's a 93 uh classic pro line live so dion somebody that didn't really get a chance to collect much when i was growing up so we made it for a lost time now we move into the other sanders barry sanders i love that that is a flir ultra uh insert and it's got that little gold medallion yeah right there got a 92 wild card barry sanders and again reminder folks these are all dime cards so let us know how we did we another wild card from 1991 and then this is 1993 stadium club i think that's such a cool shot i believe that was scott mitchell with the handoff and you know they stopped they did the rookie cards on the back still but this was just a cool shot i thought of barry just kind of resting he was such a humble guy uh just a a great football player and from all accounts a a great guy a couple of jerry rice's here here's a 2021 panini mosaic and i think that's actually here i'm going to show it again super bowl 23 right down there let's talk about the super bowl mvp oh yeah cool looking jerry rice here i don't i forget what kind of car i think this was called superior let me double check 2016. oh no no no supreme sorry this is a supreme card 2016 panini classics legends jerry rice we've got a 1999 or maybe 2000 spx some nice color there i love the card you're about yeah so this is a uh 19 or excuse me 2 000 clear ultra fast lane yeah that's an insert set and then we've got uh similar to the aikman insert for the skybox cards and then the prime time we've got speedlite of jerry rice and then i always like these cards this was from 1991 upper deck uh they did these arch rivals cards this is jerry and then i believe it was terry mcdaniel yeah terry mcdaniel uh as arch rivals uh here is a cool i think this is like clear metal or no it's upper no it's an upper deck i think it's a black diamond card and then next we've got a 1999 uh fleer or excuse me flair showcase very cool jerry rice you can find a lot of cool jerry rice cards in the uh dime box here is a cool 2021 downrostral montana we're talking montana and charles haley was in the boys will be boys book but here he is with the niners and you were supposed to see he's a five-time super bowl winner uh charlie's turning it around at the back so look at five-time super bowl champion five-time pro bowl selection and deducted into the pro football hall of fame in i think 2015. and i'm a sucker for the old baseball designs that's 87 rush with uh football players and this was cool this was a an insert for a wild card for a randall cunningham i love picking up his cards this next one is a tribute to bearcards34 we've talked about uh guys like otis anderson and kurt warner with the c that don't get as much pub from their playing days and i think is this 84 times 1983 tops otis anderson is this is rookie card no no it's not i think it's a second year card but again for a dime and otis anderson with two t's was was a heck of a running back actually wait so he was playing since 1916. remember they didn't always have rookie cards the first year they played i know that but it just feels weird that they did that and then this pains me but i had to pick it up just because of the set i love uh 1991 upper deck and i have the fav rookie but this was the favre checklist card uh where they go through and talk about all of the different rookies on the rookie force checklist so i had to pick that up couple of jerome betis's here both with the rims these are really cool yeah and then on the right you have this uh hot numbers and then here is from that same insert set uh from i believe these are these flear ultra yeah i'm pretty no they're flying their flare uh this is the uh michael irvin uh version again michael irvin kind of an unappreciated guy in the hobby as well and last but not least the 1993 fleer ultra michael urban that is really cool and i think they're playing the broncos in that game actually so we will wrap up here this was another great time at the all-in-one cart and collectible show in new berlin wisconsin i'll put a link in the description so you can check it out they do have a show coming up on october 30th and if you stuck through the whole video this is a a great variety of what we like to collect we we are bargain collectors we love going in and finding dime cards and these are treasures um because you can find great uh steals of some of the the legends of the game so it's a good education for a young collector like porter and also i can pick up cards to make up uh some lost time and then also obviously our our tribute to manny sandy and great pirate uh catcher um and hopefully we'll be able to show off more cng and cards in the near future in the near future so want to thank everyone for subbing and watching bye-bye
