Adam Hadwin is focused on moving up FedEx Cup standings

all right Adam hadwin here we are at the first stop in the FedEx Cup playoffs and how would you sum up your season so far knowing that this is going to be the race to the finish line here um that's a good question um it's been hit and miss I feel this year I've had a lot of great results and I've had a lot of terrible weeks as well and um there hasn't been a lot of consistency in the middle there um felt like you know last week was kind of one of the first weeks it felt like this year where you know I played okay I didn't have my great you know my best stuff and it was kind of that top 30ish range um usually it's either been top 10 or Bust It seems like but uh you know uh playoffs are upon us uh good week now can move you up quite quickly and um you know goal is to work our way into the Tour Championship how important are these playoffs for you and how much stock do you put in do you do you like the way it works out building to that finish of the Tour Championship um that's a good question I I haven't taken a whole lot of a stock and and what it is I think that um you know we go out we play and at the end of the day they tell us if we're moving on or not obviously there's a pretty big caveat there to get into the top 50 as well that's a that's another cut off that uh guys will be pushing for so um I just keep trying to play good golf um you know we got four days to do it this week um and we'll see where we net out at okay I'm sure you got one eye here and one eye obviously on the standings at the uh at the President's Cup how important is that to for you to make that team it's a very important event it's been Circle for a couple years now um probably trying a little bit too hard at times to make the team um I'm going to do my best to keep my eye off the standings and focus on what you know the task at hand and I thought I did a really good job coming back last week of just kind of getting in the moment getting in every shot and um doing the best I can and and it worked out like I said I didn't have my my best stuff but it was still okay um and so I'm going to tr try and do that at least for sure this week hopefully next week as well and and hopefully have another crack at it to a championship if I said two and a half was the over under how many Canadians do you think would you take the over or would you take the under I like the over at this point um I think uh I think we have a good chance to have three or four guys you think the guy everybody is every one of your guys out to there's five of you here in this in this FedEx Cup playoffs do you think every one of them is gearing for that I think so yeah absolutely um I think every one of us has been uh gearing up for it for the last year and a half trying to make that Squad um and so it's uh it's going to be an amazing event um and one that none of us want to miss all right good luck thanks B
