[Music] it's time once again for Uncle Matt's bedtime story [Music] hello everybody it's Uncle Matt and I'm here to read you another bedtime story today is Martin Luther King Jr Day an important day and uh we have a book today about Martin Luther King Jr it's called I am Brave by Brad Meltzer illustrated by Christopher eliopoulos and uh this story was copyright in got to I need some stronger glasses this was copyright in 2019 I am a little book about Martin Luther King Jr here we go I am Martin Luther King Jr come dream with me a dream is an adventure that you build inside your mind it says here can you you count all of my books my dreams grow big with books even as a kid I knew words had power it says start with hope add some faith you'll be amazed of what you'll find it says give a hug to someone you love my family taught me it's better to have more love in your life and that you must never feel that you are less than anyone else my dreams are of Love of making peace and shining bright lift those who are all around you be brave and do what's right says here until Justice runs down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream back then not everyone was allowed to sit at the front of the bus to protest those rules one of my first big speeches demanded that people be treated fairly one day you will help others one day you'll will take a stand hold hands we all sisters and brothers it's how we'll reach the promised land says at the march of Washington a March oh at the March on Washington thousands of people come together to demand that everyone be treated equally be brave my little Dreamer we need you more than ever the very best dream of all is the one we dream together it says I am Martin Luther King Jr and I know nothing can stop our Dream the end I am brave thank you Martin Luther King Jr for inspiring so many to Follow that dream that's all the time we have for Uncle Matt's bedtime story I hope you enjoyed that story and I'll see you next time bye for [Music] now [Music] a
