all right I'm here with Jamie well I got to ask is it sheriff sheriff that's the first question here Sheriff all right so the second question immediately is does that come with any nicknames growing up uh honestly no nicknames coming up but as I grew into football people call me D Sheriff there's a new sheriff in town I mean I hear it all different names everything well I mean Jamie you have absolutely uh flashed in the first two games and you were kind of a late Comer to Camp um talk about the proc of coming to Seattle uh it's been fun lately so far um I had to catch up speed really fast as far as the plays and knowing my assignment and with me learning the plays it gives me the ability to go out there and just play fast and have fun now if I'm right you had three sacks in your high school championship game and uh K College in uh Comm College Community College game and then and then you also were named defensive MVP in the last game you played in college is that correct yes sir it is is so what is it about these big games you a big time player does it get you up uh yeah it it fires me up I'm I'm always prepared for the moment and they call me you know a game changer and I feel like I honor that name and whenever the team need me at most I go out there and perform in my bu well one of the things that just jumped out watching you I mean whether it's one V ones in practice or then in the against the Chargers or against the Titans your pass rush has been crazy man like your your speed your power talk a little bit about um how that is a part of your game um you know I like to mix up my rushes so I like to um give give different picture each time I rush I like to see how the offensive lineman is going to block me then I come back and I attack what what uh his weeding was that last play and I come back in and I uh change it up next play Mike McDonald talks about having a fast ball and so like Talk Derek Hall fast ball is his power and then you have some off speed off of that right what is your fast ball what's your best part of your pass r I think the best part of my pass rush is my power as well and my ability to be able to um just uh close the pocket and and be able just keep constant pressure on the quarterback uh have the coaches been giving you any feedback about how you've been performing so far um I've been hearing some positive feedback lately as far as me um being able to execute the cause and and just KN my Su the way I'm able to pick up plays quickly and just a Rel Relentless player each day at practice end in the game now we talked a lot about your rush but you also had a pretty special play against the Titans I think you were double teamed came off made a tackle right at the line and the Run support um you know where is run defense for you as far as uh your mix between pass rushing and run defense uh I love run defense it it it it shows what type of player you are and being able to defend the run and uh pass rush is it's a combination all in one you know being able to do the thing is it's it's truly a blessing all I read somewhere that Jurassic world was your favorite movie is that still true it's still live true I love Jurassic world I I can still watch each movie to this day all right so so is that your favorite of the jurassics as well uh my favorite would be the original Jurassic par Jurassic part 1 through three is still my favorites all right well that's good to know and uh you know something between sheriff and dinosaur there's got to be something in there if you keep getting these sacks so um uh you're also the the one of four siblings is that correct yes sir it is any of your other siblings uh uh into sports uh my sisters they both play basketball and my brother he played football as well all right well um last thing I just kind of ask like you know you got here you're obviously you got one more preseason game to go what is it that you're trying to accomplish what is your your plan for this last game uh just go out there and just be D as possible just show them that I do have the ability to stop the run and the ability top pass rush and just go out there and play my game and have fun and just make the most of my opportunity okay I I like can I ask you a couple more cuz I thought a couple more so so so two things that I forgot about one um I was looking at your uh physical uh your your your combine you're not your combine numbers but you're just your your general uh athletic numbers and they actually match up pretty well with a guy named Jerry Hughes are you familiar with Jerry who in this league I am uh is that a guy that you've watched at all that you you mean your Game can be similar to uh I haven't watch much film but I do know who he is and I think he's a great football player and I think that is someone that I can in my game out there yeah so I I'll go back and I'll I'll I'll share it with you on social and but I mean it's a pretty similar set of skills and in fact one of the things that stood out for you I think you did 27 reps of 225 so I mean power is there clearly clearly part of what you do um oh there's one more question I'm forgetting it but I'll
